Money (Dollar Bill) (feat. Sadat X)
Dollar dollar bills
Deutch, marks, franks, yens, and pounds
I rock the jocked up sounds
From Devenshire Downs
Out the Fordham Road
Up top in the boogie
I be loyal to my peeps
Like budha stud doogie
Never very bad news
Payin' crazy dues
I'm blowin' out crews
And tamin' mad shrews
Like Bill Shakespeare
The fakes will disappear
The flavor in your ear
Is strong like Everclear
Two hundred proofs
So put the match to the roof
And set this bitch on fire
Get rich, the empire's
About to strike back
If you rock the mic wack
And that's the way it is 'cause yo
It's like that
Sadat X: Money, money y'all
It be the root of all evil
Sadat X: Money, money y'all
It makes you popular with people
I go back to the 80's
Like three times a lady
When it was pussy for free
And crack for currency
It just occurred to me
It's time for surgery
I remove MC's like tumors
The lies and the rumors
Got me thinkin' of this dub
By Timex Social Club
Yo, word to my momma
I'm high off the trauma
Whitey Ford gets deeper than subway trains
And I serve lazy fools like fast food chains
All pain no gain
Makes the brain insane
Life in the fast laneT
he flakesThe cash gains (for real)
CHORUS (X2
Sadat X: Dollar bill y'all
Dollar bill y'allDollar dollar dollar dollar dollar bill y'all
It takes money
Sadat X: to get that fly ass ho
It takes money
Sadat X: to see me rock a live show
It takes money
Sadat X: to get that last bag of smoke
Cause they kindly take from it when that ass was broke
Hey yo I'm about to g-off
Just like my name was Ed-o

I want jewels on my neck and mad fly things.
I want a stack of fat chips, so i can go on long trips.
I want to sail the bahamas on my own cruise ships.
I want acres of land. i want papers in hand.
I want stocks and bonds. all pros no cons.
Hey, if it smells funny, then back it up honey.
I want money y'all. i need the money y'all.

Having-Less-Is-More
Money isn't 'everything' you know?
'Ooooohhh mon ami,
Big dummy you!
YOUR money may not be 'everything'.
Or not nearly what it use to be.
However...
SOMEWHERE someone is spending it,
Caring less about your limitation.
Or who has good or bad or indifferent credit.
And they have yet to accept greed as a motive,
To live a happy life! '
I am not referring to foreigners,
I am talking about us...
Living today in 'this' country.
'Oh?
I see.
So you've already adopted,
That 'Having-Less-Is-More' attitude?
Good for you.
You make me proud.
But as for me...
Give me a ten dollar bill anytime.
Even a five dollar bill,
Seems less than a dollar these days.'

Too Much Of Heaven (rough Edit)
Too much of heaven
Can bring you underground
Heaven
Can always turn around
Too much of heaven
A life and soul hell bound
Heaven
The killer makes no sound
They're still talk about money
That's right and too much of heaven
C'mon my friend
Ley me tell you what it's all about
It's called money dependence today
And people just keep going on looking at the dollar bill
And nothing else around them
No love no friendship nothing else
Just the dollar bill coming on into their pocket
Into their bank account and that's
Too much of heaven bringing them underground
Let me tell you what it's all about
It's called money dependence today
And people just keep going on looking at the dollar bill
And nothing else around them
No love no friendship nothing else
Just the dollar bill coming on into their pocket
Into their bank account
The answer
Is blowing in the wind
The answer is blowing
Oh let me tell you what it's all about
Too much of heaven bring you underground

Money
1:
Money makes the world go round
The world go round, the world go round
Money makes the world go round
The world go round, the world go round (money)
Money makes the world go round
The world go round, the world go round
It doesnt matter if youre up or down
cause money makes the world go round
Say what you will because you know its true
No hundred dollar bill, no fun for you
Dream of your life as your days go by
Trapped in a job til the day you die
Those with the dollar are those with the power
Getting more clearer every minute and hour
Keep on your path hanging on by a thread
With anyones luck you might get ahead
Repeat 1
Say what you will because you know its true
Theyre do different from me and you
Got no credit and you got no cash
Living the high life, living so fast
Stare at the sky and wish upon a star
You gotta dream thatll take you real far
Scratch at your head and you toss in your bed
You just cant escape these words she said
Repeat 1
I wish it was love, I wish it was love
I wish it love, but its not. its money
I wish it was you, I wish it was me
I wish it was us, but its not, its money
Repeat 1
I wish it was love (money)
I wish it was love
I wish it was love, but its not
It doesnt matter if youre up or down
Cause money makes the world go round
Cause money makes the world go round
The world go round, the world go round

The Money
Can money kiss you?
Can it give you a hug?
Will money save you from death?
Often people kiss their money
As if money were a person
but does money kiss you back?
Does money make the world go round?
Perhaps money can bring you down
When you spend it all, it’s just gone
leaving you with... possessions?
It’s true; money can buy you things
but it shouldn’t be the main motivation
or reason to live
It’s the root of all evil
Too much love causes greed
Some people have way too much
While others are in real need
Why are people starving?
The rich dictate the poor
Nothing less and nothing more
Everyday prices just rise
Every night we have to pay more to be alive
Dollar signs and question marks
are what I contemplate
Than money breaks up people
and causes them to hate
Never really seeming to be able to relate
What is real and what is fake?
Money isn’t something death will let you take
So why are riches passing by us daily?
On a path to no where, the money is failing

Love Dont Mean A Thing
If I work hard every day
For my money
If I work my finger down to the bone
That aint funny
Now if I see
Something I cant buy
I put a dollar down
Then I try try try
To get my money
I need my money
A woman who aint got a dime
I cant use her no
If she aint got no cash money
Ive got to refuse her
I need a woman
With a whole lotta will
So she help me, baby
Help me pay my bill
I need my money
Ive got to have money
I need lovin to give me a livin
So dont ask me I dont need forgivin
I will stand up to count the cost
But I know I wont stand the loss
I need a woman
With a whole lotta will
She can help me pay my bill
I need my money
I want my money
Before I say my prayers
I count my money
When I wake up
It has to be there
My money
You see, love--it dont mean a thing
When she loves you
She cant bring, cant bring you no money
Ive got to have my money
Lookin for lovin
I need a livin

M.i.a.m.i:
Money is the soul of life
Without it, you will never live
The best life of your time
It is the blood of the society
It is the engine of the globe
Wall Street is the right artery
Main Street is the left artery
For me money is like a battery
To boost everything in humanity
It is the language of the world
Universal passwords:
Dollar, Moolah, Benjamin,
Euro, Ruby, peso, yen
We depend on money
Show the money
You will see the light
If you have the money
You will buy a life
Give the money
Take over the world …
Is it only in the club
Papers are flying
Booties are dropping
Liquors are floating
Strippers are shaking
Down on the floor they can go
Party and sex are planning?
No! As we know
Where money is talking
Everything else is listening …
Asingle life is not enough
To live the good life
Yes! The good life
That Kanye is talking about
The life on B.E.T
The life on M.T.V crib
The life of Justin Bieber
The life on my dream
The life that I have to live …
Major it is to have your name
On Forbes 500 as king of hedge fund
Avatar cannot stop earning,
Financial big deal merger,
Your woman, cars, houses, clothes
Reflect how fat are your pockets
Your friends, investments and jets
Tell how important money makes you …
Issues will not help you
You will need to see Dr. Drew,
Think hard and bring thing,
Hustling is one kind way of life
Honest, clean, exciting, best living.
Even a dollar bill makes you feel great
No matter how, where you get your money
When you got paid, don't you feel like GOD.

If It Was About A Lot Of Money
If it was about a lot of money...
My mind would be,
Trimmed in dollar bills.
With-my-thoughts-on a million of them,
And a caring less of my fellowman.
And if it was about a lot of money...
I'd ignore,
Every two cents made.
By anybody wanting to deliver to me,
Any consciousness attached to common sense.
If it was about a lot of money.
If it was about a lot of money.
If it was about a lot of money...
I wouldn't be concerned about the suffering seen.
And if it was about a lot of money.
If it was about a lot of money.
And if it was about a lot of money...
My eyes wouldn't cry when I see these scenes.
If it was about a lot of money...
My mind would be,
Trimmed in dollar bills.
With-my-thoughts-on a million of them,
And a caring less of my fellowman.
If it was about a lot of money...
I'd ignore,
Every two cents made.
By anybody wanting to deliver to me,
Any consciousness to instigate.
If it was about a lot of money.
If it was about a lot of money.
If it was about a lot of money...
I wouldn't be concerned about the suffering seen.
I'd fill my pockets and get away!
If it was about a lot of money.
I'd fill my pockets each and everyday.
If it was about a lot of money.
I'd fill my pockets and get away!
If it was about a lot of money.
I'd fill my pockets up and run the other way.
If it was about a lot of money.
If it was about a lot of money.
If it was about a lot of money.
And if it was about a lot of money...
There wouldn't be a single word I would say.
I wouldn't have concerns or feel this way.

She Works Hard For The Money
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
Onetta there in the corner stand
and wonders where she is and
it's strange to her
some people seem to have everything
Nine a.m. on the hour hand
and she's waiting for the bell
and she's looking real pretty
just wait for her clientele
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
Twenty five years have
come and gone
and she' seen a lot of tears
of the ones who come in
they really seem to need her there
It's a sacrifice working day to day
for little money just tips for pay
But it's worth it all
just to hear them say that they care
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
She already knows
she's seen her bad times
she already knows
these are the good times
She'll never sell out
she never will
not for a dollar bill
she works hard
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

For The Conceited Woman...
often your talk
boils down to how attractive you are
or have been
and i just keep on listening
i think i must give you the challenge of shane:
walk down the road
have a hundred dollar bill in your hand
make a man choose: sex with you or the hundred dollar bill.
it's fine with me: i'll give you a hundred more.

In The Shape Of A Dollar Sign
One driven by passion,
For what it is they do...
Is much different than someone,
Driven by a dollar bill...
And 'that' attachment.
Never have I witnessed,
Anyone driven by passion...
Being late!
Or heard excusing everything they do.
One driven and motivated by money,
Can not get excuses...
Fast enough out of their mouths.
And the pupils in their eyes are not round...
As is the custom.
They appear more in the shape of a dollar sign.
And 'that' is the difference,
Associated with someone who has passion...
Compared to another,
Who has visions of money in their mind.
'Oh...
You refer to the contractile aperture,
In the iris of the eye? '
Did you get my point?
'Yes.'
Then there is no need to intellectualize,
The basicness of it!
'I just wanted to be sure,
We both were in the same boat! '
Guess which one,
Is 'thisclose' from being thrown overboard?
That's right.
Lips sealed tight!
And keep rowing.
You don't have to keep throwing it in my face,
That you are highly educated.
There is no need for you,
To take that 'trip' with me!
We are 'not' on that kind of a journey.

Million Dollar Face
You were hungry for the lights,
You spent your nights with socialites
Youre a million-dollar baby
With the million dollar blues
And you only gave your time to people you could use
Million dollar face with million dollar grace
You got off to a real bad start
Million dollar face in million dollar lace
You wound with a two cent heart
You were mine for just a little while
But true to style and with a smile you said,
I have to leave you, baby, hold me one more time
cause I know where I should be and its a long hard climb
Million dollar face with million dollar grace
You got off to a real bad start
Million dollar face in million dollar lace
You wound with a two cent heart
Million dollar face with million dollar grace
You got off to a real bad start
Million dollar face in million dollar lace
You wound with a two cent heart

Just Another Day...
Another day another dollar
Just another excuse to give
Just another white lie to say
Just another fiene
Who wants the goods
Now I got more money
More money to spend
To spend on the goods
The goods are a demand
A demand that the cops want
Want to get me for life
Hell naw they cant see me
I do my thang
While the 5-0 ride by
I get my money
As long as these fienes live
Then my pocket stays phat
Once in awhile a brave soul comes at me
But when they walk away
I take their soul and there pide
Why
Cause a girl jus gave them the business
Nobody wants it with me
I do what i have to do
Just to survive another day
Another day another dollar

Money Always
Armed with a dollar sign,
Sugar daddies are dancing a jig-saw dance,
Stamping the sweet sixteens down to thirteen,
Blinding them with a pound sign,
Teenagers are scrumbling for the white beads,
Risking their lives into attractiveness of the familiar pockets,
lmbined with the notion of sexual born disparity social deviance,
Mint boses, yes money, always money,
Money buys life, money buys death,
Joy and sadness equals money,
Hearing thud sounds of engine,
Benz, toyota, pajero and many more engines,
Which engineers trouble,
Sweets shake their bodies,
Hulling the hovering hearts of their prays,
Sugar daddies who are on seeing girlish shadows
Maintain a confusion with a pocketed dollar sound.
Mingled with a kwacha sign,
Minced with the notion of destruction,
To destroy girlish fuitfulness
And extinguishing lights of hope to their faces dark
All because of money,
Oh money! money is the root of all the evils

Million Dollar Bash (1)
by Bob Dylan
Well, that big dumb blonde
With her wheel in the gorge
And Turtle, that friend of theirs
With his checks all forged
And his cheeks in a chunk
With his cheese in the cash
They're all gonna be there
At that million dollar bash
Ooh, baby, ooh-ee
Ooh, baby, ooh-ee
It's that million dollar bash
Ev'rybody from right now
To over there and back
The louder they come
The harder they crack
Come now, sweet cream
Don't forget to flash
We're all gonna meet
At that million dollar bash
Ooh, baby, ooh-ee
Ooh, baby, ooh-ee
It's that million dollar bash
Well, I took my counselor
Out to the barn
Silly Nelly was there
She told him a yarn
Then along came Jones
Emptied the trash
Ev'rybody went down
To that million dollar bash
Ooh, baby, ooh-ee
Ooh, baby, ooh-ee
It's that million dollar bash
Well, I'm hittin' it too hard
My stones won't take
I get up in the mornin'
But it's too early to wake
First it's hello, goodbye
Then push and then crash
But we're all gonna make it
At that million dollar bash
Ooh, baby, ooh-ee
Ooh, baby, ooh-ee
It's that million dollar bash
Well, I looked at my watch
I looked at my wrist
Punched myself in the face
With my fist
I took my potatoes
Down to be mashed
Then I made it over
To that million dollar bash
Ooh, baby, ooh-ee
Ooh, baby, ooh-ee
It's that million dollar bash

Boomtown
(Toby Keith)
The people came here from parts unknown
Sleepin' in their cars 'cause they didn't have homes
Thought this place was the promised land
If you could roughneck, we could use a good man
Come on boy let me show you around
You could make a lot of money here
Livin' in a boomtown
Well some build bars and big hotels
Downshift drive and the people live well
High on the hog and wild on the range
Pocket full of cash instead of chump change
This place kicks when the sun goes down
Ain't life great when you're livin' in a boomtown
See oil was the blood that flowed through the soul
To keep a man workin' when it's forty below
Relent to the devil in the cold cold ground
Trying to make a dollar here livin' in a boomtown
Six short years the oil fields went
Rigs came down and the money got spent
And the wisemen saved for a rainy day
The fools packed up and moved away
The hotels closed and the bars shut down
And it got real quite livin' in a boomtown
See oil was the blood that flowed through the soul
To keep a man workin' when it's forty below
Relent to the devil in the cold cold ground
Trying to make a dollar here livin' in a boomtown
Now the cafe's filled with people tellin' lies
Trying to figure out how the town went dry
You can buy a house a dime on the dollar
Need a good home just give me a holler
I can move you in with no money down
Still tryin' to make a dollar here livin' in a boomtown
Livin' in a boomtown
Livin' in a boomtown

Top Dollar
Well I tried to find something
Something to hold on to
I thought it was you cause Im sick and tired
Of trying to make something
Something out of nothing
I guess since you were bluffing
Now I think Im losing my mind
The pain in my heart
Was it worth the price?
The pain in my heart
Was it worth the time I wasted on you?
Youre giving me the top dollar blues
And I gave you it all, all
All that I could give you
Youve taken what Ive given
Ynd thrown it all away
Like its nothing
Never meant nothing
Now Im left with nothing
What an awful price Ive paid
The pain in my heart,
Was it worth the price?
The pain in my heart,
Was it worth the time I wasted on you?
Youre giving me the top dollar blues.
Ive bet all my money and thats how it goes
You ran a good race
But you lost just by a nose
Its true.
Baby, youre giving me the top dollar blues.
The top dollar blues,
I gave you it all, all
All that I could give you
And the top dollar blues
Top dollar blues
