You Were There
By eric clapton
We made the distance,
Yeah, we made the day.
You made all the difference
'cause you found the way.
Without your wisdom
Lord, where would we be
Lost in the wilderness,
Somewhere out at sea.
But you were there
Through the days of wine and madness,
When i'd always put you down.
You were there
Through my joys and my sadness
And you never let me down.
You found the meaning
And helped me to see
Where i was going to
All that i could be.
Without permission
You turned the key.
You climbed the prison wall
Deep inside of me.
You were there
Through the days of wine and madness
When i'd turn and put, put you down.
You were there
Through my joys and my sadness
And you never let me down.
You were there
Through the days of wine and madness
When i'd turn and put, put you down.
You were there
Through my joys and my sadness
And you never let me down.
Let me down.
You were there.
You were there.
You were there.

Sea Of Madness
Out in the street somebodys crying
Out in the night the fires burn
Maybe tonight somebodys crying
Reached the point of no return
Oh - my eyes they see but I cant believe
Oh - my heart is heavy as I turn my back and leave
Like the eagle and the dove
Fly so high on wings above
When all you see can only bring you sadness
Like a river we will flow
On towards the sea we go
When all you do can only bring you sadness
Out on the sea of madness
Somewhere I hear a voice thats calling
Out in the dark there burns a dream
You got to hope when you are falling
To find the world that you have seen
Oh -
Oh -
Its madness
The sun dont shine
On the sea of madness
There aint no wind to fill your sails
Madness when all you see can only bring you sadness
On towards the sea we go...

Awaken Little Dreamer
With my eyes closed I see sadness. Sadness I held in for so long. Sadness that is beginning to be replaced with madness. Madness that's been eating at my core, my thought process, my mind for so long.
Eyes open, I see a reality I've been trying to to change, to better it. A lie, I've been living a lie. My life is a lie, one I've been living for so long.
A single tear escapes my eye as I am awaking from my made up reality, my created world. Reality, my reality is tragic not magic. Tears I held back now pour from my eyes, tears I held back for so long.
With my eyes closed I see sadness. I see pain masked by madness. I see sadness hidden by a web of lies and as I open my eyes I hear a voice say, 'Awaken from your dream, come and face reality. Awaken little dreamer. Awaken.'

Day After Day
Day Ill have to face the truth
I will
I know Ill find it hard to wake up
And say these words to you
So did the days drag on for you
Was I gone for too long
Theres something changing in me
Ive got to show it
Got to show you
Cause day after day without you
I find that theres no one to turn to
All this madness that Ive found
Im so thankful when youre around
Its true yes I do
In every place Ill face a world
Of strangers
Well talk and laugh about the good times
We had together
So did the days drag on for you
Was I gone for too long
Theres something changing in me
Ive got to show it
Got to show you
Cause day after day without you
I find that theres no one to turn to
All this madness that Ive found
Im so thankful when youre around
Cause day after day without you
I find that theres no one to turn to
All this madness that Ive found
Im so thankful when youre around
Its true yes I do
There are times when I see you
There are times when Im mad
When I wake you disappear
Thats what I always find so hard
Cause day after day without you
I find that theres no one to turn to
All this madness that Ive found
Im so thankful when youre around
Cause day after day without you
I find that theres no one to turn to
All this madness that Ive found
Im so thankful when youre around

Sonnet: Anticipate Woes; Lose not Hope
When sadness goes and joy has replaced it,
Remember Man, ’tis just a transient state;
One’s happiness depends on how you’re hit;
Enjoy as if ’tis not your one life-mate.
Who knows how long the present joys shall last?
Ready thyself for flood of sadness’ might;
Despite one’s hunger, one must always fast;
Both joy and sadness keep your mind’s frame right.
A joyful state can last for days on end,
Nor sadness comes without some joy between;
Live life as if God always is your Friend;
Expect sad things as life is very mean.
Life will adjust no matter, what come may!
Each night will be followed by a new day.

We Drank The Sadness
Come! !
Solitude, my friend
Accompany me tonight.
come! !
sit to my side
and bring your glass and pour in it
the sadness of solitary hearts.
Take their tears, put yours and take mine.
Let´s allow them to ferment a while
until they are converted into wine,
that tonight I want to get drunk
with the wine of sadness.
Tonight, in your company, I'll not only
drink your sadness and the sadness of world
but, rather, I´ll get drunk myself with my heart´s sadness
and the solitude of my soul.
Come solitude!
Let´s leave to walk and let´s scream to the world
that tonight we drank its sadness
and the drunkenness of the sadness
in happiness it finished! !

Sadness Is Twilight
SADNESS IS TWILIGHT
Sadness is twilight
Sadness is old age
Sadness is the waiting
For one who will not come-
Sadness is this fading inside
This sinking we cannot define-
Sadness is this sadness
This loss of all meaning
And all rhyme.
Sadness is sadness
Fading and decline.

Traces Of Madness (madman's Song)
You would have said, ship carries us to the water
and wets us in the joys of sail.
And my reason would have raised its voice saying
A ship rather lets us remain dry of the river
And so would have been our fight.
Had there not appeared my madness and being our guide
told our wise ignorance that ship lets us know
that life and death are but two sides of the same coin and
coins cannot buy us more than what we have;
and what we have learnt to own.
Don't question my madness, nor inquire its sources
I shall also not talk of your sorrow and your song's sadness
But if at this greater curiosity greets your heart
know that it is my only inheritance.
I am heir of many lost roads
So my book begins not at a beginning
And I author letters addressed to shelter less souls,
I tell tales those only a traveler knows
not of the travel but from the travel of life of a wanderer
When I worship my madness
that is not mine but have become very own of my songs
help prevail a little silence in its praise of yours
for without it no one would have been happy
though everyone would have seemed to be
no one would have been sad
though everyone would have seemed to be.
Behind the rainy dews of the grass on whose softness
I walk is a fire of death and birth
and the many storms of life.
I have treaded upon all and so I know
what it is to burn.
If you have not seen beyond sights
And all of fire you had known is a candle light
behind your lover, why talk of fire.
My pain is never an orphan
Nor is it blind
It walks upon the road shown by my smiles
hand in hand like eternal lovers
And since times unknown to me
My joys are nomads.
There are reasons or else
nor you neither I would have been so
Unsung and unexpressed
It's you to know now who is mad;
when the madman and the madness in his songs
stand before you as I offer you my poems.

The Obvious
Wake me from this altered state
My future's looking brighter all the time
I'm stumbling and delirious
Something's changed since those teenage days
I'm growing into my own
I'm the talk of the town
Looking strange and I'll say it out loud
There's nothing left to hide
When duplicating the obvious
And it's nothing we decide
Like you, like me
Twist my words so they reed me wrong
The truth was neevr good enough for you
Is that the best you can do?
Talk me down look in my face
Look at you now, feeling like the clown
Next time you should think it over
There's nothing left to hide
Nothing left to hide
When duplicating the obvious
When duplicating the obvious
And it's nothing we decide
Liek you, like me
With no reason, you twist my words
'Cause you're helpless lost in a state of madness
In a state of madness
In a state of madness
Lost in a state of madness
In a state of madness
In a state of madness
Lost in a state of madness
In a state of madness
Lost in a state of madness
Lost in a state of madness

Natalia’s Resurrection: Sonnet XIII
A heritage for ever. Such a sleep
Came upon Adrian and such a dream,
As in the shade he lay a weary heap.
For, while he rested, still it seemed to him
He rode towards the city of his love,
Only in mirth not sadness. And, behold,
In his soothed bosom Hope, a brooding dove,
Had made again her nest, and manifold
Fair pleasures round him seemed to perch and sing
Like wild birds in the branches overhead,
And his heart leaped in joy with everything,
As in the days ere yet his joys were dead,
Until he found himself, it seemed, in Rome
And knocking at the doors of his own home.

Happiness... what is it?
what happiness is actually..
when somebody said.. happiness is when u get your first date..
but I said NO..
we would feel happy
if only we had date with no fight for nothing untill the end...
what happiness is actually..
when somebody said.. happiness is when u get married..
but i said NO..
we are really feel the full of happiness
if only we could keep that feel until we die with our couple...
for the third times I ask:
what happiness is actually...
having child.. somebody said..
yes of course I said..
having child is one of happiness..
but is getting to be deep of sadness..
if only the child is not us anymore...
then... what happiness is actually...
I said for the last time:
happiness is sadness...
happiness is badness...
happiness is madness...
because happiness
is sure will bring us
to the sadness.. badness.. even madness...

The Cloak
The Cloak
Give to me
Your web of sorrow
And I will weave it
On the morrow
Into a cloth of shimmering gold
Interlaced with spells of old,
Chants against the days of sadness,
Armor for the days of madness;
Protecting hearts not meant to be
Stunned by life harsh threnody.

Lamentation
The glorious madness
Amidst all the sadness
Good tidings forsaken
And the darkness prevails
Lost in devils details
Or was I mistaken
Faintest glowing beacon
Enough for the deacon
His work is sanctified
Savior saved discreetly
The wine finished sweetly
No one was gratified

Turn To Me
Turn to me, Burning me, Turn to me, Burning me
From all the taking down,
To the driving far away.
As if we're lost and found,
Removing us everyday yeah.
Pushing things too far,
Or never moving it along.
Forgiving and forget,
Only makes one person strong.
Hoping and finding, resisting, denying,
Hey, with your classic words of
Turn to me, that's what you say
When you're burning me, that's what you do
When you turn to me, need more days
And the time to turn you off.
Turn to me, that's what you say
When you're burning me, that's what you do
When you turn to me, need more days
And the time to turn you off.
There's no familiar face, or a hand to cling upon,
We've walked a short distance, but it took so very long.
Hoping and fighting, resisting, denying,
With your classic words of
Turn to me, that's what you say
When you're burning me that's what you do
When you turn to me, need more days
And the time to turn you off.
Knowing that we'll jump a little too high to live
Knowing that it's safe, but not safe enogh to give.
Your heart, your dream, no give, no recieve,
Respect, believe, turn to me.
Turn to me, burning me
Turn to me, time to turn you off,
Burning, me, turn to me, resisting, denying.
Turn to me, that's what you say
When you're burning me, that's what you do
When you turn to me, need more days
And the time to turn you off.
Turn to me, that's what you say
When you're burning me, that's what you do
When you turn to me, need more days
And the time to turn you off.
Oh why don't you, why don't you, why don't you, why don't you, why don't you
turn to me baby, time to turn you off,
Turning me not burning me, turning me not burning me, now turning me not
burning me, yeahhhhhh.
Turning me, oh burning me now na-ba-dupa-ba-dupa-ba-dupa yeahhhhhh
Turn me, oh burning me, why don't you burn me yeahhhhh
Turn to me, that's what you say
When you're burning me, that's what you do,
When you turn to me, need more days
And the time to turn you off.
Turn to me, that's what you say,
When you're burning me, that's what you do,
When you turn to me, need more days
And the time to turn you off!!

Strange Days
Strange days have found us
Strange days have tracked us down
They're going to destroy
Our casual joys
We shall go on playing
Or find a new town
Yeah!
Strange eyes fill strange rooms
Voices will signal their tired end
The hostess is grinning
Her guests sleep from sinning
Hear me talk of sin
And you know this is it
Yeah!
Strange days have found us
And through their strange hours
We linger alone
Bodies confused
Memories misused
As we run from the day
To a strange night of stone

A Whispery Hollow Transfixed Awe
A Vow In Making
A Venture Forth Back
A Fallen Innocent
Gave Rise To Fallen Hearts
Arise The Sadness
An Isolatory Night Glimmer
Upon A Night Full Of 'A.I.'
Filled The Night Sky
As Everything Grew Dark
But Alight Of A Face
A Whispery Hollow Of Me
In Being Driven The Opposite Way She Was Forward
A Moment's Glimpse Transfixed
Upon A Night Drive Back
Transfixes My Sadness
Of A Vow Affixed In Promise
A Vow One Night To Return
In Seeing Her Upon Happenstance
A Madness Grew From A Silent Vow
To Fill Her Hollow Empty Of A Boy
In Hesitation To Fulfill A Vow In Having Made
Increase OF Guilt For An Unfulfilled Love
In Fathering A Future Child Made Ephemeral
Forgotten Night Glimmer Ten Years On
Remembered Now In Looking Forward
Transfixed Sadness Of A Whisper Upon A Night
Vow Of Grandeur Defined With Sadness
Of A Vow Of Marriage Within A Dream

You Ask Me To Confess
bewildered about what's going on
outside your world
beyond those veils and curtains
you beg that i confess
what you see in me is what you really are,
and this you ask that
i must confess all my sins
so i can be saved
from what? my silence is asking.
as a friend there are matters to be reconsidered
saving my soul is never any other person's business
i even have to find a location for it when it wants to rest
my silence is a rock in the middle of the river's rage.
there is a black bird there that sings under the whiteness of the clouds
drinking every raindrop
that we do not expect to fall in the middle of a bright day
i need not confess
there are so many poems written and scattered everywhere
that i made
they have mouths and in the corners of the lonely nights
they all sing my own madness
both on sadness and joys,
they have said everything that you badly want to hear.

The Chrysanthemums in the Eastern Garden
The days of my youth left me long ago;
And now in their turn dwindle my years of prime.
With what thoughts of sadness and loneliness
I walk again in this cold, deserted place!
In the midst of the garden long I stand alone;
The sunshine, faint; the wind and dew chill.
The autumn lettuce is tangled and turned to seed;
The fair trees are blighted and withered away.
All that is left are a few chrysanthemum-flowers
That have newly opened beneath the wattled fence.
I had brought wine and meant to fill my cup,
When the sight of these made me stay my hand.
I remember, when I was young,
How easily my mood changed from sad to gay.
If I saw wine, no matter what season,
Before I drank it, my heart was already glad.
But now that age comes,
A moment of joy is harder and harder to get.
And always I fear that when I am quite old
The strongest liquor will leave me comfortless.
Therefore I ask you, late chrysanthemum-flower
At this sad season why do you bloom alone?
Though well I know that it was not for my sake,
Taught by you, for a while I will open my face.
