A letter to My Dad
Dad it's been twenty years,
since you have been gone now
when ever I think of you
the thought, brings tears
There's so much to tell
you, I don't know where to begin
two months, after you died
we had a son, he's so big now, I'm in a spell
I wanted for you, to meet my wife,
in a way you did, only at your funeral,
by then, it was to late
strangers were we, but never any strife
Between us, there was no hate or any love
many wasted words had we
I would like to mention, we have a daughter,
and she's sweet as a dove
Remeber the day, that you gave me old shep
he was a very fine dog
for a long time, I had him
for many years, he had a lot of pep
After nine years, he died too,
seems like ever thing I love
dies sooner or later
and that makes me feel, very blue
You don't realize, how much you love
some one, until their gone,

Toward the end, we had some good talks
you told me many things i didn't know
at your farm, on our many walks

it must have been something,

Too Late
It was like yesterday when we was walking on the park.
But in the end she left me in the dark.
At night where on sunny days I never feel so bright.
I guess I was too late to get you back.
I was so dumb I wish our sweet love could last like stride gum.
I was too late to fix the mistake that I break.
I was too late like a baby duck trying to keep up with his family on a lake.
I was too late to get the last cake.
I made a promise that I thought I wouldn't break.
I try my best to try not to make you cry for my sake.
All this pain I couldn't take and I want you back because you was treasure.

I had to act in a school play when I was about ten years old. I really didn't want to do it. But everyone had to do it so I didn't have a choice. A talent agent came and watched it and later gave me some work. It's funny because I'd always known that I wanted a movie career. I just didn't think that I would be in the movies.

I saw her standing over me just before I died,
Death-she gave out such a bright lovely white light
She was beautiful! I understood why all life followed her,
Where had I been not to have met her earlier?
She smiled at me as if saying, “Say your goodbyes”,

Letter to My Lover After Seven Years
You gave me the child
that seamed my belly
& stitched up my life.
You gave me: one book of love poems,
five years of peace
& two of pain.
You gave me darkness, light, laughter
& the certain knowledge
that we someday die.
You gave me seven years
during which the cells of my body
died & were reborn.
Now we have died
into the limbo of lost loves,
that wreckage of memories
tarnishing with time,
that litany of losses
which grows longer with the years,
as more of our friends
descend underground
& the list of our loved dead
outstrips the list of the living.
Knowing as we do
our certain doom,
knowing as we do
the rarity of the gifts we gave
& received,
can we redeem
our love from the limbo,
dust it off like a fine sea trunk
found in an attic
& now more valuable
for its age & rarity
than a shining new one?
