Sea Rogues
Out in the sea, in the rough waves
A ruffian galleon in pursuit of ill-gotten wealth
Its crew of sea rogues out for stealing
They are led by a dark-hearted captain, Captain Health
This crew goes about stealing and killing
A terrible life for which they crave
A merchant galleon, they spotted
The ruffian ship on hot heels of the rich-laden ship
Moving forth at a speed to get closer
The ship of bandits had the merchant ship within its grip
The other ship, filled with chaos, disorder
Robbed clean and dry, the ship had bloodshed
Taking everything they’ve stolen
The sea rogues rejoiced with the prized stolen items
For celebration, they drank rounds of rum
To have amassed jewels, gems of great desire to them
Sang songs of the seas, played with pipes and drums
This is a sea life, they see as golden
They set sail towards land for keeps
Going at a great speed, the galleon headed west
The days went by, until they reached the shores
The rogues rejoiced, their journey laid to rest
Packing the stolen riches was the chore
The sea rogues had them treasured somewhere deep
The stolen riches are kept somewhere
Buried in one of the caves in a lonely terrain
Far away from the society’s reach
All these to make sure that no treasure is lost in vain
Then the sea rogues set out into the beach
Out into the sea, for more robbery there

The Noble and The Rogue
The nobles are whose dirt is perfumed.
The rogues are whose virtues are soiled.
The rogues rather than the nobles lend
You a genuine hand when in trouble.

President Obama-Nobel Peace Prize
Did you hear?
'Hear what? '
President Obama!
He was selected to win,
A Nobel Peace Prize.
'Laaawwwddd...
The bigots and his detractors
Wont like that.
Especially the ones who question
His eligibility.
And whether or not he is deserving.'
He may be the first President to receive it!
'Let's just say the 'first' black president
Elected in the United States to receive it.'
I know he is intelligent.
I know he is wise and has the 'vision'.
But I 'still' can not believe it.
'Me either.
He has only been in office less than a year.'
And he could have done 'anything' he wanted.
ANYTHING other than run for president of this country.
Why would he want to sacrifice his talents like that?
Put himself in jeopardy to represent such imbeciles.
'Careful!
You talk about me too, you know! '
Did I say 'idiot'?
I said 'imbeciles', fool!
'There you go...
Being judgemental again.
That's what I don't like about you.
You have one of those bi-polar personalities.'
I like to refer to it as 'eccentric'.
You know...
Some of this and some of that.
'Oh yeah!
Like the different colors of MARBLES! '
AND whatchu tryin' to say, huh?

Sic a Parcel of Rogues in a Nation
Fareweel to a' our Scottish fame,
Fareweel our ancient glory;
Fareweel to e'en our Scottish name
Sae fam'd in sang and story.
Now Sark rins tae th' Solway sands,
An' Tweed runs t' th' ocean..
Tae mark whaur England's Province stands:
Sic a parcel of rogues in a nation!
What force or guile could not subdue
Thro' many warlike ages,
Is wrought now by a coward few
For hireling traitor's wages.
The English steel we could disdain,
Secure in valour's station.
But English gold has been our bane:
Sic a parcel of rogues in a nation!
Oh, would or had I seen the day
That treason thus could sell us!
My auld grey head had lien in clay,
Wi' Bruce and loyal Wallace!
But, pith and power, till my last hour,
I'll make this declaration:
We were bought and sold for English gold!
Sic a parcel of rogues in a nation!
