Siamese Twins

I find you in my arms, this is how it begins
and we are so close, like Siamese twins.
Though you're separate from me, and we're often apart
Still nobody can see, that we're joined at the heart.
Joined at the heart.
Joined at the heart.
Joined at the heart.
You don't look like me it's true and I don't look like you
as we lead separate lives our secret still survives
Only we know our special affection,
only we know our secret connection.
Now you're back in my arms, at the end of the day
and like Siamese twins, with each other we'll stay.
Though you're separate from me, and we're often apart
Still nobody can see, that we're joined at the heart.
Joined at the heart.
Joined at the heart.
Still nobody can see, that we're joined at the heart.

Being two is not a hindrance

You and I are two, made by love as twins,
But not as one that every lover claims.
If we are two, as someone ridicule,
Let we be so as one’s legs too are two.
Legs are two, a pair, and not separate,
But joined at base for a common purpose.
We aren’t two but a pair for a cause,
Joined by a knot like the wedding rings.
By two, legs are stable for the body.
Lovers be two to balance their affairs.
Let us remain two; let the souls walk out.
And join to keep us a pair of love.
As long as two souls are one by a knot,
Being two is not a hindrance for love.

Another for Hanque

A poem is joined to everything,
hangs by a thought;

a poet is joined to everything,
hangs by a word;

wisdom’s joined to everything;
hang lightly, golden heart.

Twos and twins

Twins are not two; they are distinct from two.
Eyes are twins; breasts are twins; so are legs.
Two noses aren’t twins, nor two faces.
Twines are not together nor separate.

By friendship two cannot become twins
Bur sexual relation can make two twins.
Twins are held by a link so hard to split.
Lovers are twins, neither one nor two.

The Sianese Twiness

The pure true marriage
Is not taking vows near
The alter in the temple
And break them near
The bed in the villa
But is making he and she
The Siamese twins
Who can’t
Separate either
In the thread of air.
Or
In the pebble of soil
The pure and the true marriage
is Siamese twinness
Now and thereafter.

Join The Gang

Let me introduce you to the gang
Johnny plays the sitar, hes an existentialist
Once he had a name, now he plays our game
You wont feel so good now that youve joined the gang
Molly is the model in the ads
Crazy clothes and acid full of soul and crazy hip
Someone switched her on, then her beam went wrong
Cause she cant switch off now that shes joined the gang
Arthur is a singer with a band
Arthur drinks two bottles just before he goes on stage
Look at arthur rave, all the kids are paid
They want to see the croaking man who joined the gang
You wont be alone, weve all got beery grins
Its a big illusion but at least youre in
At least youre in
This clubs called the webb, its this months pick
Next month we shall find a place where prices arent so stiff
15 bob a coke, fraid thats past a joke
This is how to spend now that youve joined the gang
This is what to do now that youre here
Sit round doing nothing all together very fast
Psychedelic stars, throwing down cigars
Theyre picking up the joints now that theyve joined the gang

On Marriage.

Whom Love has joined no man may put asunder,
And he has never joined those who can part:
Marriage is this, no more, howe'er priests moan;
The rest is words, mere words, and custom's vapour
The heart will brush aside as easily
As fancy paints a picture.

Siamese Almeida

can i show you this state of mind

can i not show you this state of mind
for she is not mine
i will not entertain this state of mind
for it is not mine
i will not entertain you
for it is not mine
siamese almeida
siamese almeida, ooh
siamese almeida
siamese almeida, ooh
i will not undo these twisted bones and sinew
i will not look to find who lives in you
i will not hold my hand on fire
take it off my head
i will not entertain this state of mind
for she is not mine

siamese almeida, ooh
i will not change my ways to suit this day
i will not change my face
i'll hide it from you
all twisted bones and sinew
i will not change what's in you
i will not change for you
i will not change what i hate in you!
all twisted bones and sinew...

Broken Hearts

Two hearts joined
In the fate of love
Two hearts break
In the wings of a dove

One heart still loves
Still hopes, Still dreams
One heart hurts
One heart Screams

The heart that loves
Still hopes, Still dreams
That's my heart
Torn at the seams

The heart that hurts
The one that screams
That's his heart
Torn at the seams

Two hearts lost
A beloved lil dream
The hurt the pain
A never ending dream

The heart that's his
Threw it away
The love, The affection
An eventful day

Two hearts joined
But ripped and torn
Just as violent
As a winter storm

One heart still loves
Still hopes, Still dreams
To one day fix his
and sew up the seams

But one heart still hurts
Still cries, Still screams
That's his heart
With no more dreams

A heart confused
A heart in pain
That's his heart
A heart with no gain

Two hearts broken
Ripped at the seams
But two hearts Joined
Forever in their dreams

My heart hopes
That his heart sees
The love we share
Was meant to be

My heart waits
For his to return
My heart hopes
That his will learn

That my heart and his
......Were meant to be

Joined At The Hip

Whenever my wife and I go out,
we are always together.
Some say we are joined at the hip,
it has been that way for thirty-nine years
and we hope many more to come.
If you see one of us,
you can guarantee the other is near.
Some might say we don’t trust one another,
others might say that is what loves about.
Whichever way peoples thoughts go
it does not matter to us.
If they are as happy as we are
they have nothing to complain about.
My wife and I do go out on our own
whenever the occasion takes us,
but mostly we go out together
as what one might say
we’re joined at the hip.

Music

Yesterday I was on the edge
Hoping everything was going to work itself out
A good honest man doing the work of god
Trying to make things better for him
A lover of life in a school for fools
Trying to find another way to survive
New music, music, new music
Sweet music can lighten us
Can brighten the world, can save us
My friend said well, I think I found a way
To help make myself richer
I said dont you know , well, it wont be too long before
The bad ol devil will get you back
Back.. I said put back your heart and sing , sing while
You know youre still living
Sing, sing, sing , while you know theres still
Chorus
Take a look at the world
Think about how it will end
Thered be no wars in the world
If everybody joined the band
Think about the light in your eyes
Think about what you should know
Thered be no wars in the world
If everybody joined in the show oh oh
Think about the light in your eyes
Think about what you should know
Thered be no wars in the world
If everybody joined in the show
In the show
Chorus

The Siamese Cat Song

we are siamese if u please
we are siamese if u dont please
we are former residents of siam
there is no finer cat than i am
do u see that thing swiming round and round
maby we can reach in and make it drownd
if we sneek up on it carefully there will be a
head for u and a tail for me
we are siamese if u pleause
we are siamese if u dont pleause
now we're lookin over on a domisile
if we like we stay for maby quite a while
do u here what i here a baby cry
where we find a baby there is milk near by
and if we look in baby buggy there could be
pleanty of milk for u and also some for me
we are siamese if u pleause
we are siamese if u dont pleause
now we're lookin over on a domisile
if we like we stay for maby quite a while
we are siamese if u please
we are siamese if u dont please

You Are The Sunshine Of My Life

You are the sunshine of my life
Thats why Ill always be around,
You are the apple of my eye,
Forever youll stay in my heart
I feel like this is the beginning,
Though Ive loved you for a million years,
And if I thought our love was ending,
Id find myself drowning in my own tears.
You are the sunshine of my life,
Thats why Ill always stay around,
You are the apple of my eye,
Forever youll stay in my heart,
You must have known that I was lonely,
Because you came to my rescue,
And I know that this must be heaven,
How could so much love be inside of you?
You are the sunshine of my life, yeah,
Thats why Ill always stay around,
You are the apple of my eye,
Forever youll stay in my heart.
(background) love has joined us,
Love has joined us,
Lets think sweet love.

Lives far away from me

She may be away
From me on the land
Very far by distance
But close to my heart and soul
She is half my age
Loves me
More than anyone can
I remember her naughty deeds
And what she said to me
As soon as I entered the house
She would run
And take me in her arms
She left me crying
To start a new life
I miss her, she misses me
Throughout the day
Throughout the night
I think of her, she thinks of me,
Keeps talking to me on the phone
Be it morning, be it night
The best think happened to me
When she joined the family?
As a cute and bubbly baby
She is my daughter
Lives far away from me

Robert Louis Stevenson

To Miss Cornish

THEY tell me, lady, that to-day
On that unknown Australian strand -
Some time ago, so far away -
Another lady joined the band.
She joined the company of those
Lovelily dowered, nobly planned,
Who, smiling, still forgive their foes
And keep their friends in close command.

She, lady, as I learn, was one
Among the many rarely good;
And destined still to be a sun
Through every dark and rainy mood:-
She, as they told me, far had come,
By sea and land, o'er many a rood:-
Admired by all, beloved by some,
She was yourself, I understood.

But, compliment apart and free
From all constraint of verses, may
Goodness and honour, grace and glee,
Attend you ever on your way -
Up to the measure of your will,
Beyond all power of mine to say -
As she and I desire you still,
Miss Cornish, on your natal day.

A Future Time

Even though we remain separate
we two are joined in heart.
And days may come upon us
that are endless while we're apart.
To dwell upon the face of time
is to make unhappy days.
I know that true love makes its call
and is received in dreams at night.
So let the sun leave my eyes
and shadows replace the light.
For only then will my restless heart
know that love goes on.
And the thought of a future time with you
will help me to face the dawn.

You Come This Morning And Touch My Weakness

you two come this morning
searching the secret place in my body where my weakness lies
you gaze at me, like both of you are siamese twins
you scan my skin, you listen carefully to the beatings of my heart
you move your nose trying to figure out the smell
of that secret place

you frisk me, you strangle my hair hoping to find the secret
between the locks of my hair
on top of my forehead and behind the skull covered with
thick skin,

you try so hard to find what i am
what you find is what i am not because your hearts are hardened
by what you are not, in all the years that we have parted

i also listen to the beatings of your hearts
and in there there is no more sound of compassion

this time you must leave, i am locking my door.
