Yeah, yeah I scream...
With you on my mind so heavy and so hard
I dont know quite everything
You make me think of a better thing...
Better things to fill my day with
But they dont mean to go
Please dont be too bad with me, god
Please dont be too good...
Let some womens light, womens light
Chain my hands with me singing...
Hani hani, come and dance for me
Whoa, whoa, sooner there
Hani hani, come and dance for me
Only the brave
Hani hani, come and dance for me
(feeling the night)
Hani hani, come and dance for me
Lead me back home to life
You made heaven turn to dirt
And dirt turn to dance on
Heaven come my way
Baby surely do
Maybe some moonlight
Maybe some, baby surely do
Maybe some moonlight
Say this say this...
Hani hani, come and dance for me
Underneath the moonlight
Hani hani come and dance for me
Hani hani, come and dance for me
Come on, come on go
Hani hani, come and dance for me
Give it back, give it back....
Oh man, I cant talk
A man was tall and once tore a piece of freedom for us all
When, then, you least expect it
Man can cut from of his own heart
For us all, that man
Dont believe it, oh yeah....
God, two men slice and dice each other up in his place
They dont believe it...
Well leave it
Leave it lying, leave it lying, leave it lying
Got me singing
Hani hani, come and dance for me

It was a cold day in September when you where slain
and on the coldest days i still feel that pain
We started as enemies in the school ground
2 young brother trying to prove a point
Ended up 2 young brother's sharing a joint
You showed us you talents in lyrical poetry
such words have never been spoken
and neva will that bond be broken
You showed us you talents in Break Dancing
The only one who could pull off the six step
And thats a memory we can neva forget
Small in frame but large in heart
never scared to speak your mind
Alas this is the reason you travelled blind
Blind to what lied ahead
If only you opened your eyes you would have seen
The path you where taking was terribly obscene

You Can Dance If You Want To
we can dance if we want to
We can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends dont dance
And if they dont dance
Well they're no friends of mine
Say, we can go where we want to
A place where they will never find
And we can act like we come from out of this world
Because you're one far behind
We can dance
We can go where we want to
The night is young and so am i
And we can dress real neat
From out hats to our feet
Then surprise them with a big trick ride
Say, we can act if we want to
If we dont, nobody will
And you can act real rude
And totally removed
And i can act like an imbusil
Say, we can dance
We can dance
Everything's outta control
We can dance
We can dance
We're doing it more and more
We can dance
We can dance
Everybody look at your hands
We can dance
We can dance
Everybody's taking the cha-nce
It's safe to dance
Oh well, it's safe to dance
Yes, it's safe to dance
We can dance if we want to
We've got all your life and mine
As long as we abuse it
Never gonna lose it
Everything will work out right
I say, we can dance if we want to
We can leave your friends behind
Because your friends dont dance
And if they dont dance
Well they're no friends of mine
I say, we can dance
We can dance
Everything's outta control
We can dance
We can dance
We're doing it more and more
We can dance
We can dance
Everybody look at your hands
We can dance
We can dance
Everybody's taking the cha-ance
Well, it's safe to dance
Yes, it's safe to dance
Well, it's safe to dance
Oh well, it's safe to dance
Ah yes, it's safe to dance
Well, it's safe to dance
It's safe to dance
It's safe to dance

Why Dont You Dance
Why can I still see
Out on the floor
You shimmy and shake it
And we head for the door
Then we take a ride naked
There was no need to fake it
Moving like a mountain
(moving like a mountain)
Youre my little wild one
(youre my little wild one)
Coming like a fountain
(coming like a fountain)
What happened to that big fun
(what happened to that big fun)
Shake it
Oh there she goes drifting across the floor
Dont you shimmy, dont you shake
Dont you
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
What happened to the wide eyed girl
Who wanted a piece of my soul
Remember that friday
I saw you with that sinner
He stood up and held out his hand
Just like a winner
I said if you take my hand to shake it
Ill take your face and break it
I think I saw you crying
(I think I saw you crying)
You walked out with that big gun
(you walked out with that big gun)
Nights when Im not lying
(nights when Im not lying)
I miss my little wild one
(I miss my little wild one)
Oh baby I remember how youd
Shiver to my touch
Dont you shake
Dont you shimmy, baby
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Oh step back in time
And see that scene again
Lets dance again
Baby
Oh baby
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why
Dont you
Dance
Dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why
Dont you
Dance
Moving like a mountain
(moving like a mountain)
Youre my little wild one
(youre my little wild one)
Coming like a fountain
(coming like a fountain)
What happened to that big fun
(what happened to that big fun)
Shake it
Oh there she goes drifting across the floor
Dont you shimmy, dont you shake
Dont you
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why dont you shake baby you
Why dont you baby
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance
Why dont you dance

Well they're dancin' down the corner
Put your best dress on
Get with it baby we're gonna go all night long
Yeah yeah, uh-uh, yeah yeah
Get ready right now we gonna dance on and on
Well now hurry hurry mama
Don't forget your shoes
You're gonna need 'em baby
When they play the harlem blues
Uh-uh, yeah yeah, uh-uh
I got the dancin' fever
We're gonna go on and on
Well dance baby dance
Come on and dance baby dance
I said dance baby dance
Come on and dance baby dance
Come on baby
Come on baby, let's dance
Put those rings on your fingers
Bells on your toes
Get with that feeling baby
Body and soul
Oh-oh, yeah... uh-uh
Get ready right now
We're gonna dance all night

Yeah, dance baby dance

Ladies' Night
Uh, yeah, uh huh, uh
Go ladies, go ladies
Go ladies, go ladies
Go ladies, go ladies
Go ladies, go ladies
Uh, whoo!
She's like the sun shining bright
A romantic moonlight
Like white clouds and blue skies
She's got diamonds in her eyes
My rainbow after the rain
She's my joy after the pain
Far away paradise
Make you wanna touch the sky
Like the highest mountain peak
As the ocean goes deep...
I wanna dance with that woman, yeah
Dance with that woman, yeah
I wanna dance with that woman, yeah
I'm gonna...
Treat her like heaven (yeah)
Treat her like heaven (yeah)
Treat her like heaven (yeah)
Treat her like heaven (yeah)
Make her smile (yeah)
Keep her happy (yeah)
Take her stepping yeah (yeah, yeah)
Oh yeah
She's like the greatest waterfalls
On Christmas she's Miss Santa Claus
Just like Grandma's apple pie
Girl you're all the reasons why
She's a comforter and friend
I tell you she's that peace within
She's the lover in my home
She's the strength when I'm not strong
Every day my valentine
I'm so glad heaven made her mine...
I wanna dance with that woman, yeah
Dance with that woman, yeah
I wanna dance with that woman, yeah
I'm gonna...
Treat her like heaven (yeah)
Treat her like heaven (yeah)
Treat her like heaven (yeah)
Treat her like heaven (yeah)
Make her smile (yeah)
Keep her happy (yeah)
Take her stepping yeah (yeah, yeah)
(Oh sometimes)
Sometimes we forget what the (yeah)
Woman means to us (oh)
That's why I want ladies night (oh yeah)
To show the ladies some love (yeah)
So fellas stand on your feet (stand up yeah)
Take your girl by the hand (and walk)
And walk her to the dance floor (mmm-hmm)
And begin to...
(Dance... dance... dance...) dance yeah, whoa
(Dance... dance... dance...) dance yeah, whoa
(Dance... dance... dance...) whoa
(Dance... dance... dance...) dance yeah
Let's dance
Ladies night, Chocolate Factory
Your music weatherman and that one was for the ladies
I hope ya'll enjoyed it
And since we're on the ladies
We gonna keep it rotating y'all
Moving right along with hit songs

Dance dance dance
Dance in the moon light with,
All the stars in sight
Dance to the smiles
Dance in the shadows my love
Dance dance dance.
You may think I'm crazy
I'd dance in the moonlight
I'll dance when I want to
Please let me dance
Dance dance dance
Dancer take my hand to your,
Hand
I need to dance
Close your blue eyes,
Hold me in your arms and,
Dance dance dance.

If I Could Make The World Dance
Ba-da, ba-da (whoa)
Ba-da, ba-da (whoa)
Ba-da, ba-da (whoa)
Bu-da (you)
Bu-da, bu-da (whoa)
Bu-da, bu-da (whoa)
Bu-da, bu-da (whoa) (you)
Signs and wonders that the television shows (whoa)
Hate and poverty for the more, lets me know (you... you)
That life is a stage and we're all in the show (you, you)
Starring the World, 'cause we all glow
(Heaven I'm calling, heaven I'm calling)
If we just give each other a chance
(Heaven I'm calling, heaven I'm calling)
We might just fall in love
Picture us (in a land)
Where there's no more (no more war)
Shaking hands with my (brother)
And respecting my, my, my (my sisters)
(I'm offering) a dance that heals (ooh)
(A melody) you can feel (ooh)
Love is the key (whoa)
All it takes is you and me (whoa, yeah)
If I could make the world dance (whoa if I could make them dance)
Then they would dance (dance) something like this (like, whoa)
If I could make the world groove (whoa if I could make them groove)
Then they would groove something like this (doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo)
If I could make the world sing (whoa if I could make them sing)
Then they would sing something like this
If I could make the world love (if I could make them love, if I could make the love one another)
Then it would feel something like this (yeah)
Tell me why can't more hungry people overcome (why?)
When they've got the means to build bombs, yeah (oh)
We're so quick to say God Bless America (da-da-da-da)
But take away In God We Trust (da-da-da-da)
Tell me what the hell is wrong with us?
(Heaven I'm calling, heaven I'm calling)
If we just give each other a chance then
(Heaven I'm calling, heaven I'm calling)
We might just fall in love
Picture us (in a land)
Where there's no more (no more war)
Shaking hands with my (brothers)
And respecting my, my, my (sisters)
I'm offering (I'm offering) a dance that heals

Then they would dance (dance yeah) something like this (if I, oh)
If I could make the world groove (whoa if I could make them groove)
Then they would groove something like this (too-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo)
If I could make the world sing (whoa if I could make them sing)
Then they would sing something like this (whoa if I could make the world)
If I could make the world love I would make them love
Then it would feel something like this (yeah)
Happy people baby
Dance with me mama (come on)
Dance with me mama (yeah)
Dance with me mama (oh)
Dance with me mama (come on and)
Dance with me mama (dance with me)
Dance with me mama (oh)
Dance with me mama (come on)
Dance with me mama
Dance with me mama
Dance with me mama (whoa)
Dance with me mama (come on)
Dance with me mama (dance)
People (there's got to be) there's got to be
(A place we can go) a place that we can go
And dance out the day
So meet me at the
Spot that we used to go
And just step the night away
Please let's just rewind time
And go back because I miss those days
If I could make the world dance (whoa if I could make them dance)
Then they would dance (dance) something like this (yeah)
If I could make the world groove (whoa if I could make them groove)
Then they would groove something like this
If I could make the world sing (whoa if I could make them sing)
Then they would sing just like this (if I could)
If I could make 'em love (I surely would, I surely would) then I would make 'em love one another
Then it would feel something like this, ohh
If I could make the world (if I)
If I could make the world (could make)
If I could make the world (the world)
If I could make the world (I) (oh if I)
If I could make the world (I) (oh if I)
If I could make the world (could make) (ohh)
If I could make the world (the world)
If I could make the world (if I could make the world)
If I could make the world (if I)
If I could make the world (could make)

If I could make the world dance

When You Dance
When you dance
I hear the music rocking everywhere
When you dance
I see the lights shining through your hair
When you dance
The band is blowing like a hurricane
When you dance
You look so fine but you dont know my name
Come near baby, dont be afraid
Just one taste wont do
I cant hold back one more day
Sugar I know I got to dance with you
When you dance
Your smile aint hiding what youre thinking of
When you dance
Your body trembles like youre making love
When you move, baby
My soul is aching and my blood runs hot
Run into me now
My heart is breaking, shaking what you got
Come near baby, dont be afraid
Just one taste wont do
I cant hold back one more day
Sugar I know I got to dance with you
Shake em down now
Come near baby, dont be afraid
Just one taste wont do
I cant hold back one more day
Sugar I know I got to dance with you
Oh yeah baby
When you dance
I hear the music rocking everywhere
When you dance, baby
This time you tumble, honey, I dont care
When you dance

She Wants To Dance With Me
Rick astley
She wants to dance
She wants to dance with me
Oh yeah (dance with me)
Theres a girl Ive been waiting to see
And I really get the feeling that she likes me
cos she said so, but not in so many words
Ive got to tell you what Ive heard
She dont want no wild romance
When shes with me she only wants to dance
She wants to dance with me
cos Ill hold her so tight next to me
She wants to dance with me
cos Ill let her be what she wants to be
Now I know Ive been out of touch
And I never meant to hurt my baby oh so much
cos I love her and I think she love me
And thats the way its got to be
When were together we never fight
Weve got better things to do tonight
She wants to dance with me
cos Ill hold her so tight next to me
She wants to dance with me
cos Ill let her be what she wants to be
She wants to dance
She wants to dance
She wants to dance with me
cos Ill hold her so tight next to me
She wants to dance with me
cos Ill let her be what she wants to be

2 Prince, Another One I Wrote
Murder is losing its mind, I am losing my patience
Chris Hani was murdered on 10 April
Political reasons are speculations
Speculation is a political reason
An African political prince
Was butched motive is mysterious
The brutal murder is a fatal error
This world is unjust
The land I see was sad
And the soil I walk in felt the pain
Lucky Dube was murdered on 19 October
An African prince of reggae was assassinated
Political reasons are speculations
Speculation is a political reason
Still the cause murder is baffling
Butchered for the love of the nation
And passion for country men

From My Perspective
From my perspective
I believe that Tupac Shakur was a victim of racism
So as Nelson Mandela, who fought through courage towards the bright light
Tupac was not just a rapper who stood up for young Black males
But an icon to me, a prophet and a voice of Malcolm X, Martin Luther King
And all the unmentioned prophets
There are many examples of such prophets, the other one Is Biko
He is the hero of me, although we still fight the battle within the minds black
Away from the now foreseen ‘Tribal racism’
I remember the time they released Mandela from jail
I was eight years old,
That was a good day for me.
I also remember the time they assassinated Chris Hani
It was just after my birthday, April the 9th
That was a sad day for me
Although all the true stories are never told
My perceptive forever hold
Your perspectives forever hold
After all, this is Africa the truth here is served dead and cold

Dont Forget To Dance
You look out of your window,
Into the night.
Could be rain, could be snow,
But it cant feel as cold as youre feeling inside.
And all of you friends are either married, vanished,
Or just left alone.
But thats no reason to just stop living.
Thats no excuse to just give in to a sad and lonely heart.
Dont forget to dance, no, no, no,
Dont forget to smile.
Dont forget to dance, no, no, no,
Forget it for a while.
cause darling, darling,
I bet you danced a good one in your time.
And if this were a party
Id really make sure the next one would be mine.
Yes, you with the broken heart.
Dont forget to dance, no, no, no,
Dont forget to smile.
Dont forget to dance, no, no, no,
Forget it for a while.
Dont forget to dance, no, no, no,
Forget it for a while.
You walk down the street
And all the young punks whistle at you.
A nice bit of old,
Just goes to show what you can achieve
With the right attitude.
As you pass them by
They whisper their remarks one to another,
And you give them the eye
Even that you know that you could be their mother.
You do the thing you love the most.
What separates you from the rest,
And what you love to do the most?
And when they ask me how you dance,
I say that you dance real close.
Dont forget to dance, no, no, no,
Dont forget to dance.

After The Dance
Dance with me
Come on dance with me, baby
Dance with me
Come on dance with me, baby
Dance with me
Come on dance with me, baby
Dance with me
Come on dance with me, baby
I want you-and you want me
So why don't we-
Get together after the dance
When I first saw you
Lookin' good on the Soul Train
So good
I cannot get you sharp and right
Dancin' good-spinnin' everywhere
I thought to myself
You were so fine
The ways you move
So fine
She's movin' so real, I need her
What you need is me
I want you-and you want me
So why don't we-
Get together after the dance
While we danced
Let's break this baby
You were so fine
The way you moved me
Your eyes
Told me of warm things
Oh baby, ??? between you and me
Got to live in my sweet lovin', baby
Nobody else's got, nobody's got my love
??? if I were you
I want you to take me with you
What'cha gonna do
I want you-and you want me
So why don't we-
Get together after the dance
Dance with me
Come on dance with me, baby
Dance with me
Come on dance with me, baby
Dance with me
Come on dance with me, baby
Dance with me
Come on dance with me, baby
I want you-and you want me
So why don't we-
Get together after the dance
