Carry This Picture
Carry this picture for luck
Kept in a locket
Tucked in your collar
Close to your chest
Make it a secret
Shown to the closest friends
And meet me at quarter to 7
The sun will still shine then
At this time of year
We'll head to the inlet
And we'll share a bottle there
And color the coast with your smile
It's the most genuine thing
I've ever seen
I was so lost
But now I believe
And follow me south of the big docks
They tether the boats
The rich men revere
They're so important
They hire our fathers
To steer
And down to the edge of the water
Where we'll spill our guts
And we'll name our fears
I'll give you this picture
Keep it and don't
Be
Scared
And color the coast with your smile
It's the most genuine thing
I've ever seen
I was so lost
But now I believe
And the coast
Your smile is the most genuine thing
I've ever seen
I was so lost
But now I believe
And I believe
Now I believe
Now I believe

Lost & Found
Waiting for the hurricane
To hit new york city
Somebody said its hit the bay
This is the nitty gritty
And all the bag ladies
Better put their acts together
Were near the eye of the storm
This is really heavy weather
We were lost and found, in the nick of time
While the ship was going down
We were lost and found, just in time
With the hurricane crossing the coast line
We were lost and found, just in time
Oh
This thing is bigger than the both of us
Its gonna put us in our place
We were lost and found, just in time
Now weve got no time to waste
Theyre putting up the barricades
Because the hurricane is heading up this way
So wont you come in from the cold and the pouring rain
And the old see dog says shiver me timbers
The skys gone black
And its like the dead of winter
We were lost and found in the pouring rain
When the hurricane swept across the coast line
This thing is bigger than the both of us
Its gonna put us in our place
Were gonna see what really matters
When you see that storm stare us in the face
We were lost and found
And we beat the fear
We came through the storm
Now it all seems clear
We were lost and found, standing here
Looking at the new frontier
Lost and found, just in time
With the hurricane crossing the coast line
Lost and found, just in time
With the hurricane crossing the coast line

Back To The Coast
West coast, try outs
You've got to make it before you die out
New York is the hard way
Time to pack it up and get to L.A.
If you want to be a star get back to the coast
Back to the coast
You're gonna make it real far so get back to the coast
Back to the coast
My way is the sky way
Ain't got no time for the highway
I've got to get to the coast, fast as I can
Get to L.A. we'll be the number one band
If you want to be a star get back to the coast
Back to the coast
You're gonna make it real far so get back to the coast
Back to the coast (come on)
You've got to get on back (get back)
If you want to be a star get back to the coast
Back to the coast
You're gonna make it real far so get back to the coast
Back to the coast
I say back back back back back, back to the coast
Oooo, yeah get back back back back back, back to the coast
Whoa yeah
If you want to be a star get back to the coast
Back to the coast
You're gonna make it real far so get back to the coast
Back to the coast (oh, get on back), back to the coast

Louisiana loses 30 miles a year off our coast. We lost 100 miles last year off our coast thanks to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. We have lost a size of land equivalent to the entire state of Rhode Island.

Magic Smile
There's a pretty girl
Somewhere in this world
Whose smile shines bright
Even when all's night
Even when I'm feeling down
Hers is a smile that turns me round
Shiny blue eyes drag you in
But her smile is what really wins
Her loose blonde hair looks fine
But her smile wins every time
If there ever was a smile
That seeing was worthwhile
Yours was it, a million bucks worth
None other like it on earth
Don't know if you know
But thought I'd let you know
About your magic smile
Cause its something worthwhile
Baby, don't ever lose it
Keep that smile on your lips
Smile that smile, that magic smile...
-
Story behind the poem:
This poem was written about a girl I know, who has a wonderful smile. Every time I meet her, she gives a smile that, well, looks genuine and makes you feel so welcome. There are other things about her that are attractive, but as the poem states, Her smile is what wins. Smiles are something we can all give for free, but only a few of us give them. Don't stop.

Fake Smile
When I feel so sad
I just hide it when I'm around people
I put on my
Fake smile
Behind it's a hurtful and depressed girl
Who feel she can't get back up and
Smile for the first time
Since this guy make her like this
I feel like broken picture frame
I need a push to do it again
I try to smile but I can't
I'm lost so I put on a
Fake smile
When I have to
I feel like I will never smile again
I lost it unless one person
I know who will do it and is you baby
I know you are the one
I just have mixed feelings for you
One minute I Iike you and next minute I don't
One day I will get my smile back and
It be thanks to you or to whoever can do it
For right now I have to show a
Fake smile
You did this me and
I did this to myself
It turn out after you been gone awhile
I don't think or cry anymore
I forget you after all
This is real smile and not
Fake smile

Smile … Dear Smile
Walk up to smile.
Fondle well to smile; Bring hearts from a mile.
Set heart to smile; Get muscle to smile.
Smile whispers one nest; A million senses to crest.
Smile to shine; bring out yawning spirits from whine.
Troubles' far gone with smile; Pains fade away with smile.
Give joy to heart with smile; Live for forever with smile.
Envy not to smile; Frown not to smile; for you have fond smile.
Win with smile; nothing lost to smile; Share contagious smile.
Winter, spring, summer or fall; be smile season to call.

Sweet Memoir Initiated Little Expression
Apoem of his smile (The seventh smile)
He's smile is from other worlds,
or a world that exists in my dreams.
It's so beautiful that it hurts,
when it's constantly changing as it seems.
It's more eloquent every day,
though there is a smile for every situation.
And each smile sweep me away,
when he smiles for me on every occasion.
He has six smiles,
one if his cheeks blushed all in red.
And one on the regular whiles,
when he laughes to some thing's said.
And when he talkes to a girl,
he smiles when he talks of his family.
But he has no smile for who's in a whirl,
he has no smile when he talks of me.
Still there is a smile when he lies,
and the same smile when he pretends.
The sixth smile lights up his eyes,
as he's day dreaming or talking of his friends.
Some times a smile confuse with another,
but he maybe smiling for other things.
Still i can tell the difference and no other,
can ever tell what every smile brings.
I wish he has a secret smile,
like the one i have of him only.
When i stare at him for a while,
and linger his features if i'm lonely.
They told me i have three,
when i laugh at some thing was said.
And when i smile but in me,
i think some thing is silly but in my head.
And when i smile just to shut,
some one up, if i'm really tired or sad.
But for the one i love a lot,
there is a fourth smile for who drives me mad.
I have four smiles,
but there is one only for you.
Three of them on regular whiles,
when i wish that you have a seventh smile for me too...
Coast To Coast
Last stop for a resolution
End of the line, is it confusion?
So go. Go see whats there for you
Nothing new, nothing new for you to use
I've got no new act to amuse you
I've got no desire to use you, you know
But anything that I could do, would never be good enough for you
If you can't help it then just leave it alone
Leave it alone, yeah, just forget it
It's really easy
I believe I'll forget it too
Still you're keepin' me around
Til I finally drag us both down
Streaming feathers out your hat
Yes I believe that's where it's at
You belong tagging along
And I belong in your zoo
So I wait for confirmation
That you're never gonna use your starting gun
Unless its me it sounds like being here just wasn't that much fun
Anything that I could do
Would never be good enough for you
If you can't help it then just leave it alone
Leave me alone, yeah, just forget it
It's really easy
I'll just forget it too
Coast to coast, coast to coast
I'll do what I can so you can be what you do
Coast to coast, coast to coast
I'll do everything I can so you can be what you do
Coast to coast, coast to coast
Circuit rider comes every fifth sunday

Smile For The Camera
I see you standing out there in the hall
You seem so nervous waiting for his call
I focus on you
I reach for the lens
The shutter snaps again
(smile)
Smile for the camera
You know
(smile)
The camera never ever lies
Ive been watching you with
Eager hungry eyes
For sometime
(smile)
I hold my lens in the middle of the night
Visions of you dancing in the strobe light
Up on my wall is a picture or two
Of someone who looks like you
(smile)
Smile for the camera
You know
(smile)
The camera is my wide lens
(smile)
You know the camera is my private eye
I got color transparencies
I got black and white

Smile for the camera
You know that

Closest Thing To Heaven
28 days of rain
Flash floods in February
Back in our boats again
Bath water and the baby
What am I gonna do?
There's been a lot of drinking
Looking at ghosts of you
While all the world is sinking
10.000 miles into the atmosphere
My body shakes
Is there a welcome here?
Closest thing to heaven
How do you do it?
Closest thing to heaven, heaven
Throw your arms round the world
Make love your destination
Here we go boys and girls
Act like a generation
Give me that ball and chain
By now it must be hurting
Dragging your feet again
Just like a beast of burden
When one and one and one make two
I know I'm high because I've captured you,
yeah
Closest thing to heaven
Yeah, it's you
Closest thing to heaven, heaven
Look the world right in the eye
Eat the countries that are making billions
Sweet as homemade apple pie
Saved by crumbs for all the starving millions, yeah
Closest thing to heaven
Closest thing to heaven
How do you do it?
Closest thing to heaven
Uhh, hey
Closest thing to heaven

Give A Little Bit Of Smile
Friends of the universe
I welcome you all
To the world of sunshine and laughter
Theres so much to see if only you could see
That life is so merry, so jolly and free
Come listen to me and hear what I say
Just a little favor from society
cause it only needs a muscle to be happy
So come and show it and give all the love
Refrain:
Give a little bit of smile
And the world would smile too
Yes, a little bit of smile
And the sun will shine through
Give a little bit of smile
Spread the cheers now
Spread them smile after smile
Life will be easy, I promise youll see
Open up your eyes to things of beauty
And remember the world will find its glory
If you and me will only agree
Give a little bit of smile
And the world would smile too
Yes, a little bit of smile
And the sun will shine through
Give a little bit of smile
Spread the cheers now
Spread them wide like the bird
That keeps on flying in the sky
Like the child who listens to a lullaby
Theres a smile that we can share together
Give that smile and love one another
Give a little bit of smile
And the world would smile too
Yes, a little bit of smile
And the sun will shine through
Give a little bit of smile
Spread the cheers now
Spread them smile after smile
A little bit of smile

Only Your Smile Makes My Heart Shine
Sometimes i'm happy laughing,
Enjoying each moment of life, or sometimes,
Cold of loneliness is wrapping me,
And my heart feels withdrawn.
But when the dawn are coming,
And i'm opening my eyes,
The first thing that i see is your smile,
That embrace my being with love and light.
How could i ever be sad,
When your sweetness is surounding me,
How could i ever be lost,
When your eyes shine passion looking at me?
Wherever i go, i'm followed by your smile,
With two brown charming eyes besides,
Is not a smile i would ever forget,
In this magnetic smile my whole world resides.
Nothing in this world is like your smile,
No one can bring me that infinite delight,
Only your smile awakes in me feminity,
Only your smile makes my heart shine.

Lost in Memories
I am lost in this world
I am lost with this fear
I am lost with no sounds
I am lost with out you here
I am lost with out your touch
I am lost with out feelings
I am lost with no lights
I have lost all my senses
I have lost my mind
I have lost every thing in just one night
I have lost my voice and my sight
I may have lost every thing that I hold dear
But I have not lost the memories we shared

Smile, that is involuntary.
Smile is exclusive to humans.
It can be genuine or fake, mostly fake.
It can be innocent or sexual, mostly sexual.
It can disarm without any arms.
Smile must be spontaneous,
Not like one before a camera.
Smile to show gratitude.
Smile not to win a fevour.
There is meaning in an infant’s smile.
There is meaning in mother’s smile.
There is meaning in lover’s smile.
Smile is expression of one’s heart.

The Coast Of Barbary
My lad is on the water and far away from me,
And I pray God be good to him wherever he may be,
Up the sea and down the sea,
And along the coast of Barbary.
Oh, night and day ships come in, the ships both great and small,
But never one among them brings a word of him at all,
From Port o' Spain and Trinidad, from Rio or Funchal,
And along the coast of Barbary.
If I must think he comes no more across yon seas forlorn,
If I must think there is no tide may bring him night or morn,
I'd curse the light that I look on, and the day that I was born,
And the cruel coast of Barbary.
But well I know that soon or late he'll come back blithe and brown,
When the fire's a good thing to see, and the dark drawing down,
From many a wild and stormy sea, and many a foreign town,
And along the coast of Barbary.
With a green silk handkerchief and a parrot red and green,
And shells and bits o' things to show from the places where he's been,
Up the sea and down the sea,
And along the coast of Barbary.

Smile, A Balled For You
Smile
Maybe it will hide the pain,
Smile
Hopefully no one will worry
Smile
Hide what you feel
Smile
But look closely and see what people think
Smile
Maybe someone else will to
Smile
It may make you feel better
Smile,
You’re not the only one faking.
Cry or be real
When no one else can see you.
So Smile
It makes the world go around
Smile
So no one will see the tears
Smile
Other will be happy you do.
So smile
But keep someone close and tell them how you truly feel.
Smile
It is the only thing you can do.

Hot Thing
Hot thing!
Hot thing, barely 21
Hot thing, looking 4 big fun
Hot thing, whats your fantasy?
Do u wanna play with me?
Hot thing, baby u dance so good
Hot thing, baby I knew u would
Hot thing, tell me what u see
Hot thing, when u smile, when u smile, when u smile
Are your smiles, are your smiles 4 me?
Hot thing, maybe u should give your folks a call
Hot thing, tell them youre going 2 the crystal ball
Hot thing, tell them youre coming home late,
If youre coming home at all
Hot thing, tell them u found a brand new baby doll
Hot thing, I cant wait 2 get u home
Hot thing, where we could be alone
Hot thing, I could read u poetry,
And then we could make a story of our own
Hot thing
Hot, hot, hot thing
Hot thing, hot thing
Hot thing, hot thing
Hot thing, barely 21
Hot thing, looking 4 big fun
Hot thing, whats your fantasy
Hot thing, dont u wanna play with me?

Angel's Wings
I would die for you
Lay down my life for you
The only thing that means everything to me
'Cause when you're in my arms
You make me prouder than
Than anything I ever could achieve
And you make everything that used to seem so big
Seem to be so small since you arrived
On angel's winds
