When I am abroad, I always make it a rule never to criticize or attack the government of my own country. I make up for lost time when I come home.

Let Love Rule
Love is gentle as a rose
And love can conquer any war
It's time to take a stand
Brothers and sisters join hands
We got to let love rule
Let love rule
We got to let love rule
Let love rule
Love transcends all space and time
And love can make a little child smile
Oh can't you see
This won't go wrong
But we got to be strong
We can't do it alone
We got to let love rule
Let love rule
We got to let love rule
Let love rule
Let love rule
You got to got to got to
Let love rule
You got to got to got to

The Church has never changed its teaching on the sanctity of human life - it didn't make up a rule for the convenience of a particular time like a rule at a country club as the Governor would have us believe.

The white man’s GRAVE
This school is not our school
We have our own.
This culture is not our own,
I know it well.
They teach us science
What is it?
And philosophy of their own.
When they say knowledge,
Who is a fool?
Pluto, Plato are not blacks
They impose on us
And make it law.
And have us in their rule condemn
These men are wicked
Tell them so.
In our pain they make their mansion
And gave us food from our wage.
Before your Mathematics,
I know the numbers of my wives
And your Geography.
I know the road to my farm.
Before your Government,
I know my kingdom,
Before your Language,
I speak my own.
Before your Biology,
I feel my blood in my veins
Before your Accounts,
I make proceeds from trade.
Before your Architecture,
I make my mat,
Well designed.
This school is not our school
I know it well.
Yours make men proud
Ours make men humble.
We learn it from home,
So much it sticks.
Your school makes men tyrants,
Ours make a people worthy.
In your school,
our ladies are whores in naked pants.
No! not in our school.
My father told me so.
This is not our school
Our school must come again.

Crack Attack
You stand there, stutter, brains like butter,
You dissed your father, sister, your mother,
Times have tried too hard to your answer to give up instead of live up,
To the stance of a man, understand that Im a right hand,
Five out of five will die, from crack and on my left the birth the same and the same birth (? ),
The kid once did and now his death is echoed around the world for all to hear,
So lets have a merry new year
Yo grace, school em.
Theyre lost now, taken over, crack attack,
Theyre lost now, taken over, crack attack,
Theres a little boy who lives down the way,
I heard hes crazy from crack in his brain,
Hes lost now, hes taken over, crack attack,
Lost now, taken over, crack attack,
Dont do it,cheap high, say no! (echoes).
Though I wonder who is to blame,
All this epidemic is driving me insane, all of it,
I see the kids dying in the streets,
Whoever makes one, theyre going lose his way,
Lost know, taken over, crack attack,
Theyre lost now, taken over, crack attack.
Stuck in the middle, and dont know where to go,
Theyve got so now, theyre living for the blow,
They get it babe, doing it for the thrill,
Its so insane, such danger for a thrill,
Lost now, theyre taken over, crack attack,
Dont do it, cheap high, break the tie.
You can turn it over, you can take control,
You want your mind, your body and soul,
Dont you let crack put you in a hole,
Youve done without and you can do it now.
Said crack attack, crack attack, crack attack,
Dont do it, say no!, give it up,
Lost now, lost now...lost now, taken over crack attack, crack attack,
Taken over, crack attack, crack attack,
Lost now...give it up, give it up, taken over.

Why Me
Why me? was the question running down my spine Why me? so i asked myself Why me? Why me? my heart was panting for an answer Why me? my brain could not find an answer at last it gave a reasonable one that made a lot of meaning I am left in a lonely world, to make me to reason that this world is not worth living Boko Haram sect became a terror Vampire they became over night sucking human blood at will killing innocent victims with out impunity The people turn to shred, through the bomb blast killing them for nothing No shelter to live for survival No food to eat for the day No water to sustain life in turbulence A country we see without a government When people are wiped out of existence, the government will rule the dust of the earth with a pity The government can only pity those that are dead and buried Their people suffer brain touch, heavy heart, crying eyes with out control They suffer without care from the government Why me? was my question do we call this a government The government that sleeps when the houses are on fire Fire the houses are burnt to black dust and crumbs as we touch it again and again Mend are threatening to carry firearms to fight the government that cannot run state affairs The government is sleeping while her house is on fire My country Nigeria is on fire, sitting on the keg of gun powder blasting in the air and we can do nothing

Yes, look, social class is definitely an issue in Britain, it is definitely an issue and I think that most people across the country would sympathise with the idea that there are lots of people with talent and ability all across this country who want to make more of themselves and part of the responsibility of government is to make that happen.

Second Hand Car
In a second hand car you ran away with him
You did'nt get too far before he made you cry
And he beat on you - Oh he never treated you
More something on his shoe walk on by - on by
Its time - time to run away from him
A man don't act that way and you know he'll never change
Its a way to love - knocked down and bruises too
And its a way for him to knock down and use you
I'll send a ticket to you - I'll send the fare to you
I'll say a prayer for you - and it makes me cry - me cry
Its time - time to run away from him
A man don't act that way and you know he'll never change
It's time - time for you to come on home
But the world don't seem that way and you know it'll never change
Never change, never change
It's such a rare report - she got lost on him
I get lost in thought - hope she walks on by
I'll make the time to give - If you don't give a damn
We'll make a home and live
Without you and we can
Repeat Chorus

Surfers Rule
Its a genuine fact that the surfers rule
Its plastered on the walls all around the school now
(surfers rule, surfers rule)
Becoming just as common as a golden rule now
(surfers rule, surfers rule)
Take it or leave it but you better believe it
Surfers rule
They burnt it in the grass on the football field now
(surfers rule, surfers rule)
Just try to make them cool it and theyll never yield now
(surfers rule, surfers rule)
Take what youve heard now and go pass the word now
Surfers rule
Its a genuine fact that the surfers rule
A woody full of surfers pullin long side a wagon
(surfers rule, surfers rule)
The hodaddies sittin while the surfers are draggin
The surfers are winnin and they say as theyre grinnin
Surfers rule
Surfers rule
(four seasons you better believe it)
Surfers rule
(four seasons you better believe it)
Surfers rule
(four seasons you better believe it)
Surfers rule
(four seasons you better believe it)
Surfers rule
(four seasons you better believe it)
Surfers rule
(four seasons you better believe it)

Home R Not Home
Home a place of comfort
Home a place you love
Home a place you make a living
Not home you fell alone
Not home you fell like you don’t belong
Not home you’re out of your comfort zone
Always lost
Always confused
Hating it
Wishing you were back home
No fun
Hopping you didn’t waste your time
Lost
Lonely
Always lost
Always confused
Home R Not Home

You Make Me
You make me wanna slam my head against the wall
You make me do the limbo
You make me wanna buy a slurpee at the mall
You make me watch the gong show
Theres really something kinda strange about you, baby, but I cant exactly seem to put my finger on it
You make me
You make me
You make me
Thats what you do to me
You make me wanna hide a weasel in my shorts
You make me wanna phone home
You make me wanna write a dozen book reports
Then pack myself in styrofoam
Sometimes you make me want to build a model of the eiffel tower out of belgian waffles
You make me
You make me
You make me
Thats what you do to me
(you make me) thats what you do
(you make me) thats what you do
(you make me) thats what, what you do to me
You make me wanna hang out in a trailer park
Then take my hamster to the beach
You make me wanna do my laundry in the dark
And use a recommended bleach
When Im with you I dont know whether I should study neurosurgery or go to see the care bears movie
You make me
You make me
You make me
Thats what you do to me
(you make me) thats what you do
(you make me) thats what you do
(you make me) thats what, what you do to me
Thats what you do to me
Thats what you do to me
Thats what you do to me
You make me wanna break the laws of time and space
You make me wanna eat pork
You make me wanna staple bagels to my face
Then remove em with a pitchfork
You know theres something quite unusual about you but I cant exactly seem to put my finger on it
You make me
You make me
You make me
Thats what you do to me
(you make me) thats what you do
(you make me) thats what you do
(you make me) thats what, what you do to me
(you make me) thats what you do
(you make me) thats what you do
(you make me) thats what you do-do-do-do-do to me
(you make me) thats what you do
(you make me) thats what you do
(you make me) thats what you do to me

The Boy and the Teacher
Teacher, teacher, 'why is my gram parent going to have to go to a nursing home? '
'Well', says the teacher in disgust. 'The republicans(Defenders of the rich) won't allow the raise of the government budget ceiling(The Amount Of Money That The Government Can Borrow.) they don't want to raise taxes on the job creators(Corporations..). But they want taxes on the workers and cuts in government funded programs to equal the new budget. The Democrats(The Ones Who Believe Our Country Should Be A Nanny State) . Don't want to make the cuts in certain government programs or raise taxes on the poor and want to raise the budget ceiling without paying for it.'
The little boy says 'That don't sound that complicated. Why don't we just tax everyone across the board, according the money they make and have. And Why don't we make cuts in programs that are not necessary. Oh and while were at it why don't we bring back our military slowly. So were not spending 60 billion dollars month in other countries. Why do we have to police other countries? Or even a better question how can we afford too when our debt is so high? '
The teacher responds back, why don't you write your congressmen, senators, and president letters and ask them.
The little boys says, 'Easy they would never read them.'
The teacher a little annoyed says, 'You got answer for everything. And I thought I was the teacher.'
The little boy chirps, 'your darn tooting'.

Make This House A Home
Well theres something in us living
Theres something you should know
There was a time for us to fall
Now its time to grow
But you know its not the way
That I intended it to be
Crossing hearts and killing souls
And trying to get down to whats real
All I ever wanted was to make this house a home
I let go of sinking sand wont you help me find a stone
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
Was to make this house a home
All I needed was your hand to hold
I spent so much time alone
I needed your direction
But we re-aligned my broken bones
Well theyre running from a lifeless state
Somehow we lost our hold
All we have with us is change
Left over from what started out as gold
All I ever wanted was to make this house a home
I let go of sinking sand - wont you help me find a stone
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
Was to make this house a home
This is what I give to you
Its flesh and blood
Its body and soul
Wont you take whats left of who I am
And try to see it whole
Im holding you responsible for every word I say
If you feel the brokenness
Wont you try and look the other way
I never meant to be so low
I only wanted you to see
That time was healing someone else
But its tearing apart the very heart of me
This is what I give to you
Its flesh and blood
Its body and soul
Wont you take whats left of who I am
And try to see it whole
All I ever wanted was to make this house a home
I let go of sinking sand - wont you help me find a stone
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
Was to make this house a home
So make this house a home
Make this house a home
Make this house a home

We Will Be Strong
Pity the fool
Its hard but he broke a rule
And that isnt done
Somehow, someday, brother will use a gun
Just walking the town
Just painting it sad
Its bringing me down
Its driving me mad
Woman is away from me
We will be strong, we will be strong
I know we have the strength to carry on
We have the strength
I know my rights from wrong
I know youve lost Ive won
We will be stronger
We will be strong
And getting stronger every day
Believe me when I say it
There is no other way to convey it
No other way you clown
Your thoughtfulness has brought us down
And that isnt right
That we should walk alone on the streets at night
Just checking the time
Walking that very fine line
The humour is black
The plan is attack
Now woman is away from me
But we will be strong
We will be strong, we will be strong
I know we have the strength to carry on
We have the strength
I know my rights from wrong
I know youve lost Ive won
We will be stronger
We will be strong
And getting stronger every day
Believe me when I say it
There is no other way to convey it
Down on your luck
The shock it has struck
The weak ones will die
The questions are why? why?
Does anybody hear?
Does anybody understand?
Let me make it clear
Nows the time to take a stand
Now woman is away from me
But we will make it strong
We will be strong, we will be strong
I know we have the strength to carry on
We have the strength

I believe in an America with a government of men devoted solely to the public interests — men of ability and dedication, free from conflict or corruption or other commitment — a responsible government that is efficient and economical, with a balanced budget over the years of the cycle, reducing its debt in prosperous times — a government willing to entrust the people with the facts that they have — not a businessman's government, with business in the saddle … not a labor government, not a farmer's government, not a government of one section of the country or another, but a government of, for and by the people.

Lost in cheap delirium
Searching the neon lights
I move carefully
Sink in the city aquarium
Sing in the key of night
As they're watching me
Take me somewhere we can be alone
Make me somewhere I can call a home
'Cause lately I've been losing on my own
Wrapped in silent elegance
Beautifully broken down
As illusions burst
Too late to learn from experience
Too late to wonder how
To finish first
Take me somewhere we can be alone
Make me somewhere I can call a home
'Cause lately I've been losing my own
Take me somewhere we can be alone
Make me somewhere I can call a home
Won't you take me home
Won't you take me home
'Cause lately I've been losing my own
Won't you take me home

Follow Me
This song appears on eleven albums, and was first released on the take me to tomorrow album and take me home, country roads & other hits, this is john denver, the very best of john denver (d
Cd), the country roads collection and the rocky mountain collection albums, and has also been rerecorded on the greatest hits vol 1, favourites, john denver (italian) country classics and the v
Of america albums.
Its by far the hardest thing Ive ever done
To be so in love with you and so alone
Follow me where I go what I do and who I know
Make it part of you to be a part of me
Follow me up and down all the way and all around
Take my hand and say youll follow me
Its long been on my mind
You know its been a long, long time
Ive tried to find the way that I can make you understand
The way I feel about you and just how much I need you
To be there where I can talk to you
When theres no one else around
Follow me where I go what I do and who I know
Make it part of you to be a part of me
Follow me up and down all the way and all around
Take my hand and say youll follow me
You see Id like to share my life with you
And show you things Ive seen
Places that Im going to places where Ive been
To have you there beside me and never be alone
And all the time that youre with me
We will be at home
Follow me where I go what I do and who I know
Make it part of you to be a part of me
Follow me up and down all the way
Take my hand and I will follow you
