The Snowman
I'm molded from the fresh white snow,
I have two round eyes from dark coal,
All kids can see my special glow,
I am a snowman with a soul.
A white pom-pom ends my fancy hat,
and a red carrot is my long nose,
I do not eat, yet I am fat,
and when it snows, my belly grows.
Two stiff brooms are my outstretched hands,
Sometimes, proudly I wear a scarf,
I'm the symbol of winter lands,
I even might be the eighth dwarf.
I don't have a match in the world!
But I live only one season,
In the end, I'll be torn and swirled,
My life here is for a reason.
I love every girl, every boy,
Indeed they all are my best friends,
They bring me happiness and joy,
Ah, my heart melts when Winter ends!

The magic of snow
Snowflakes dance like white fairies of old
Each one a treasure to behold
Far more precious than spectrums of stone
For stones, anytime, the rich can easily own
The white season only enchants us a few months a year
The fairies, by magic, soon disappear
God, not man, decides whom these riches bestow
The rich of spirit know the value of silvery sheets of snow
Children charmed by snow's shimmering spell
Gaze at a snowman sculptured by winter's richest girl
Whose love moulded beauty into perfection
And whose childish joy shines from every section
Like a perishing goddess, winter's wind begins to sing
The purity of winter must mature to spring
From the snowman, molten light trickles into a stream
Before the children's eyes, vanishing into a dream
Why are their eyes shining with regret and pain?
Winter will return to cast its spell again
When their white season ends, they should then lament
For that treasure's lost forever, once it is spent

It Is You I Dream Of
a flower grows from beneath a blanket
of fine and purest white
it reaches toward the sun for warmth
for heat and for the light
my love for you grows stronger still
despite the surrounding cold
my heart is yours, bartered gone
for yours has it been sold
its petals shine from morning dew
its stem grows stiff and strong
it stands strong through the freezing cold
it stands the winter long
i long for you, for your soft touch
i miss the way you smile
the longer that we stay apart
the longer every mile
the flower stretches through the snow
it reaches toward the sun
and now without you the color is gone
the flower's petals, done
but as we talk, and as we learn
the flower comes back to life
the snow now melts and goes away
as you take away my strife
spring is here and growth abounds
as you and i are one
we are together, we are in love
the snow for now is done
i see the future, in dreams i have
of our life, long and true
i see the times where all i need
are comforting words from you
i see the times when winter comes
as winter tends to do
but we still love, and we still live
and i do still love you

Winter Wonderland
Sleigh bells ring are you listening
In the lane snow is glistening
A beautiful sight we?e happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland
Gone away is the bluebird
Here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song as we go along
Walking in a winter wonderland
In the meadow we can build a snowman
Then pretend that he is Parson Brown
He?l say: Are you married?
We?l say: No man!
But you can do the job
When you?e in town
Later on we?l conspire
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid
The plans that we?e made
Walking in a winter wonderland
In the meadow we can build a snowman
And pretend that he? a circus clown
We?l have lots of fun with mister snowman
Until the all the kids knock him down
When it snows ain? it thrilling
Though your nose gets a chilling
We?l frolic and play the Eskimo way

Hibernation
Hibernation
Occupy falling snow; claim it make a snowman with coal eyes and
carrot nose before winter is over and your task runs through your
fingers as water into soft the soil and is privatized when it runs into
a deep lake and you must pay if you want a drink or take a shower.
A carrot not enough to make soup, pieces of coal are not enough to
warm your cold hands. The barons of money have bought streams,
forests and mountains, fenced in and there are gates, you must pay
if you want to walk and see nature at her most enthralling liberty.
And you will think; where is our emancipation to express ourselves?
Nothing is free, why should it be? This is democracy the right to buy
and sell the world’s resources and charge whatever the market says.
And you pay for what is rightfully yours. If you do not occupy it now it
will be too late, spring is the name of misery and it is your fault for
sleeping when snow fell in your garden.

Winter Wonderland
(f. bernard/d. smith)
Over the ground lies a mantle of white
A heaven of diamonds shine down through the night
Two hearts are thrillin
In spite of the chill in the weather, ooh the weather
Love knows no season, love knows no clime
Romance can blossom any old time
Here in the open
Were walkin and hopin together
Together, together, together
Sleigh bells ring, are you listnin?
In the lane, snow is glistnin
A beautiful sight, were happy tonight
Walkin in a winter wonderland

How Severe Is The Winter There
what a severe winter
wild..white...cold and frozen
my slum childhood is oozing
from the roofs and fringes
and from the frozen ice sticks
hanging down
how severe is the winter
let the children play snowball
make snow statues and snowman
and put a carrot in his nose
and hide and seek
and pray never get sick
let the sky be all blue
where all the birds and white gulls fly
smoothly..happı ly..singingly
let all the birds perch
on the branches of a big tree
in the greenery..peacefully
what a sea
clear anad clean and indigo
let life go
let her open her bosom as her name
to the white sails and undying living joys
what a tree
let it be ever green
yı elding fruı ts for all
what a world
let peace overhelm
where everybody find asylum and sanctuary
there
live happily and in harmony

Seasons Of Life
A Winter's Season feels ever so departed
I wonder whatever happened to the season of Winter
Like A Clock Ticks Away Time
Season's Briskly Move Through Life
The season's arrival and departure are like the entrances and exits of life
Spring impatiently waits for a turn to splash her bright green, pink, purple, and yellow colors of pastel
Flowers sprout a new cycle of life
Trees, provide a respite for birds of flight
Summer excitedly wishes to arrive
Balmy Nights do Invite
Ocean Rhythmic Waves
Take A Breath Away
Basking in her glory, ready to blow sun-drenched kisses on your nose
Kisses still felt in winter
Always a sign she is on your mind
Fall eagerly blows a dressy entrance of orange, brown, gold, and yellow
Aromas sweet, spicy, pungent, and strong remind of memories long gone
Winter Longs to stay home
Although, I am known for the season of cold, I long to warm your heart and soul
When you dream me away, think of my reasons to stay
Gaze outside to a thick blanket of white shimmering snow
A magnificent picture to behold
While Inside Cozy and Snuggled
To A Fire A Glow
Wrapped in a lover's strong arms
Surely Melts the Cold
And, keeps the Body Warm
Season's, Like Life, are meant to cherish
For they arrive and depart like the fragilities of life
Live, Breathe, Immerse yourself in the seasons throughout your life~

White Winter Wonderland
Oh, these white winter walks exhilarate
As does the crisp frost tipped air
Blown 'cross the mountain tops and vales
Light as a butterfly-snow flakes so fair;
'Tis the whitest of white times
Heralding in all the holidays best
Celebration 'cross the countryside and nearby vales
Pass the most perilous of slippery road test;
Out upon the sod-a snowman or two
With building of snowcastles supreme
Oh, those white winter walks encite exuberance
Hence giving credence to my white winter dream;
As glorious winter makes her snowy bed
And the invigorating air chills to the bone
I am ever thankfu for this white winter world
And for all of the past winters i have known;

The Winter's Spring
The winter comes; I walk alone,
I want no bird to sing;
To those who keep their hearts their own
The winter is the spring.
No flowers to please--no bees to hum--
The coming spring's already come.
I never want the Christmas rose
To come before its time;
The seasons, each as God bestows,
Are simple and sublime.
I love to see the snowstorm hing;
'Tis but the winter garb of spring.
I never want the grass to bloom:
The snowstorm's best in white.
I love to see the tempest come
And love its piercing light.
The dazzled eyes that love to cling
O'er snow-white meadows sees the spring.
I love the snow, the crumpling snow
That hangs on everything,
It covers everything below
Like white dove's brooding wing,
A landscape to the aching sight,
A vast expanse of dazzling light.
It is the foliage of the woods
That winters bring--the dress,
White Easter of the year in bud,
That makes the winter Spring.
The frost and snow his posies bring,
Nature's white spurts of the spring.

Suicide Snowman
If I had time to kill the world I'd try
Oh no, but I'm busy
Killing me
I don't have time to build a suicide
Because the snowman melts in spring
The striper girls will not be coming back
In the summer...for me
I don't have time to even say goodbye
We are dying as winter lives
Spring
Snow melts in my lawn and I am free
Corn cob pipe and a button nose
Bottled in the ground too long
Snow melts in my lawn and I am....
If I had time to kill the world I'd try
But I'm busy
Kill is ever me
I don't have time to even say goodbye
We are dying as winter lives
Spring
Snow melts in my lawn and I am free
Corn cob pipe and a button nose
Spring

Winter Has Come
Definitely winter has come.
The evergreen shrub's white flowers have disappeared.
The ginko trees have turned into brooms.
Like a sharp sharp piercing, winter has come.
Everyone dislikes winter.
Deserted by grasses and trees, run away from by insects, winter has come.
Winter,
come to me, come to me.
I have winter's strength, winter is my victim.
Permeate through, penetrate into!
Make fires break out! Bury with snow I
Like a sharp knife, winter has come.

White Winter Gold..
I've been sitting and watching
as the kids from our town
take sleds up the hill
and sleigh ride back down..
from short ones to tall ones
from young kids to old
to them a big snow storm
is white winter gold...
Theres some building snowmen
some throwing snow balls..
others building snow forts
ignoring their mothers calls..
with their nose and cheeks
a bright ruby red,
and heads that are sweating
neith the caps on their head...
They just keep on sleighing
ice skating and stuff
making snow men and snow balls
They can't get enough..
I watch their parents build fires
that glow into the night
marsh mellows are roasting
It's a beautiful sight...
Time spent together
memories kept growing old..
are often the treasures
of finding white winter gold...

Read This Winter Poem When It's Not
Read this winter poem when it is not,
and on your forehead a snow flake might drop
Read this winter poem when it's not white,
but somewhere is and you'll feel just right
Read this winter poem when you feel lonely,
and I hope you'll find happiness wherever you be
And read this winter poem when it is not,
so that you'll know whichever season you are in, it's a gift from God,
whichsoever season you are in,
it's a gift that today you live..
