From the threshold [Din prag]
Like evening star
I fade away
And night around
Will soon expand.
When all the past
Dies in my soul
It is replaced
By desert land...
O, icon dear
From other times,
Right now you seem
A ruined dream...
Come closer, please,
To kiss your hand
And blackish eyes,
Which brightly gleam!
The wing of death
Casts shadows deep
On the bad luck
Of vanquished guys.
Detached from life,
I feel how fall
The heavy lids
On my dead eyes...

Dream
Because her eyes were far too deep
And holy for a laugh to leap
Across the brink where sorrow tried
To drown within the amber tide;
Because the looks, whose ripples kissed
The trembling lids through tender mist,
Were dazzled with a radiant gleam--
Because of this I called her 'Dream.'
Because the roses growing wild
About her features when she smiled
Were ever dewed with tears that fell
With tenderness ineffable;
Because her lips might spill a kiss
That, dripping in a world like this,
Would tincture death's myrrh-bitter stream
To sweetness--so I called her 'Dream.'
Because I could not understand
The magic touches of a hand
That seemed, beneath her strange control,
To smooth the plumage of the soul
And calm it, till, with folded wings,
It half forgot its flutterings,
And, nestled in her palm, did seem
To trill a song that called her 'Dream.'
Because I saw her, in a sleep
As dark and desolate and deep
And fleeting as the taunting night
That flings a vision of delight
To some lorn martyr as he lies
In slumber ere the day he dies--
Because she vanished like a gleam
Of glory, do I call her 'Dream.'

So tender [Atât de fragedă]
You are so tender, just like when
The cherry blossom is pure, white
And like an angel among men
Into my life you come in sight.
You barely touch the rug below
The silk is rustling at your feet
And as you walk, from head to toe,
You float like eagles in the heat.
Out of your pleated dress you rise
Like a white marble and I'm struck...
My soul clings quickly to your eyes,
So full of tears and of good luck.
Oh, happy dream of love with style
Bride from old stories, little star,
Stop smiling! For your pretty smile
Reveals how beautiful you are.
How can you, with the charm of night,
Darken my eyes with so much grace,
And with your whispers, hot and light,
And with the chill of your embrace?
A thought is passing, I remark,
A wave upon your fervent eyes:
It's the surrender, deep and dark,
Shadow of lust that gently cries.
You go away; I comprehend,
To follow you is a vain goal,
You're lost for ever, it's the end,
O, dearest bride of my poor soul!
I saw you, it's my fault all right,
My heart forgiveness now withstands,
I'll expiate my dream of light
Reaching my hand for desert lands.
And like an icon you'll appear
Of Mary, for whom people yearn,
Wearing the crown on your head dear -
Where do you go? When you return?

Winters Sun
Winters pall dims the vestiges of autumn gone,
lost the laughter and the sun, families fled
past the eyes of those past, replaced by barren sun.
Mundanity dulls the keenest edge, (re) casts
playact in imports stead, each actor caught in
winters pall, dims the vestiges of autumn gone.
In heady, early days, blushing glance was enough
to hold, then break, the rhythm of the dreary drum.
Past the eyes of those past, replaced by barren sun,
each generation caricatured, first by writers pen,
then realigned by victors gun; the awful chill of
winters pall dims the vestiges of autumn. Gone,
the comfort in a hug, entwined hands: now undone,
voices held on memories breadth, fade away into the
past. The eyes of those past, replaced by barren sun,
sightless, gaping - cast amongst the great undone, stories
raise them from the depths, before letting go into the
winters pall, dims the vestiges of autumn gone
past the eyes of those past - replaced by barren sun.

When Evening Shadows Fall
When evening shadows fall,
She hangs her cares away
Like empty garments on the wall
That hides her from the day;
And while old memories throng,
And vanished voices call,
She lifts her grateful heart in song
When evening shadows fall.
Her weary hands forget
The burdens of the day.
The weight of sorrow and regret
In music rolls away;
And from the day's dull tomb,
That holds her in its thrall,
Her soul springs up in lily bloom
When evening shadows fall.
O weary heart and hand,
Go bravely to the strife--
No victory is half so grand
As that which conquers life!
One day shall yet be thine--
The day that waits for all
Whose prayerful eyes are things divine
When evening shadows fall.

Break o’ Day
You love me, you say, and I think you do,
But I know so many who don’t,
And how can I say I’ll be true to you
When I know very well that I won’t?
I have journeyed long and my goal is far,
I love, but I cannot bide,
For as sure as rises the morning star,
With the break of day I’ll ride.
I was doomed to ruin or doomed to mar
The home wherever I stay,
But I’ll think of you as the morning star
And they call me Break o’ Day.
They well might have named me the Fall o’ Night,
For drear is the track I mark,
But I love fair girls and I love the light,
For I and my tribe were dark.
You may love me dear, for a day and night,
You may cast your life aside;
But as sure as the morning star shines bright
With the break of day I’ll ride.
There was never a lover so proud and kind,
There was never a friend so true;
But the song of my life I have left behind
In the heart of a girl like you.
There was never so deep or cruel a wrong
In the land that is far away,
There was never so bitter a broken heart
That rode at the break of day.
God bless you, dear, with your red-gold hair
And your pitying eyes of grey—
Oh! my heart forbids that a star so fair
Should be marred by the Break o’ Day.
Live on, my girl, as the girl you are,
Be a good and a true man’s bride,
For as sure as beckons the evening star
With the fall o’ night I’ll ride.
I was born to ruin or born to mar
The home wherever I light.
Oh! I wish that you were the Evening Star
And that I were the Fall o’ Night.

Evening Shadows
When evening shadows fall
Minutes seem so long
When evening shadows fall
I'm waiting for the dawn
I miss you every night
Just about this time
You're always on my mind
When evening shadows fall
When evening shadows fall
End up staring at the wall
Even when you're gone
The feeling's all so strong
Want you to come on back
Back where you belong
So I can sing my song
When evening shadows fall
Well I'm living in a dream
And it s getting so late
And you call my name
And I'm wide awake
It might as well be night
Hope that you're alright
Well I just can't wait
To get you in my sight
I'm here every day
Just about this time
From dusk till dawn
When evening shadows fall
Well I'm living in a dream
And it's getting so late
And you call my name
Then I'm wide awake
It might as well be night
Hope that you're alright
Well I just can't wait
To get you in my sight
You ask me if I miss you
I say not at all
Only every night
'Bout this time
When evening shadows fall
Every night about this time
When evening shadows fail
You're always on my mind
When evening shadows fall

Magic
What was the spell she wove for me?
Life was a common useful thing,
An eligible building site
To hold a house to shelter me.
There were no woodlands whispering;
No unimagined dreams at night
About that house had folded wing,
Disordering my life for me.
I was so safe until she came
With starry secrets in her eyes,
And on her lips the word of power.
- Like to the moon of May she came,
That makes men mad who were born wise -
Within her hand the only flower
Man ever plucked from Paradise;
So to my half-built house she came.
She turned my useful plot of land
Into a garden wild and fair,
Where stars in garlands hung like flowers:
A moonlit, lonely, lovely land.
Dim groves and glimmering fountains there
Embraced a secret bower of bowers,
And in its rose-ringed heart we were
Alone in that enchanted land.
What was the spell I wove for her,
Her mad dear magic to undo?
The red rose dies, the white rose dies,
The garden spits me forth with her
On the old suburban road I knew.
My house is gone, and by my side
A stranger stands with angry eyes
And lips that swear I ruined her.

Wing & A Prayer
Lovers in ancient times
Now it begins -- I see it in your eyes
And I know how you feel -- you long to touch the sky
The flame of life, let it eat your heart out every night
But youre not alone
This is your world -- this is your world
Lovers in ancient time, caught in the fire
Only the strong survive -- how can we face tomorrow
Live an illusion, dont let it fade and die
Something deep inside you, a wing and a prayer will guide you
Something deep inside you
Something deep inside you, a wing and a prayer will guide you
Something deep inside you
{spoken}
Go now, girl, dont look back. this is your one big chance.
I place my fingers to your lips and I tell you my love flies with you
On a wing and a prayer, on a wing and a prayer
No muscle and bone -- rhythm is the key
Theres everything to play for -- youre everything to me
The game of life -- win it and your love comes tumbling down
Youll never be alone
This is your world -- this is your world
This is your world -- this is your world
Lovers in ancient time, caught in the fire
Only the strong survive -- how can we face tomorrow
Live an illusion, dont let it fade and die
Something deep inside you, a wing and a prayer will guide you
Something deep inside you
Something deep inside you, a wing and a prayer will guide you
Something deep inside you
Something deep inside you, a wing and a prayer will guide you
Something deep inside you
Repeat to fade

Evening Star
(Written by Barry and Maurice Gibb)
If you never rode West of the Arizona border
You can turn the other way boy but you never get far
You be living a lie if you wanna see the wonders of the age
You must follow the evening star.
Chorus:
Evening star
Shine a little Heaven
On a stranger with no dream
Where you are.
You can see the loneliness I mean and if I gotta fight
I can never play somebody else's game
I can follow the evening star
Starlight, you never need somebody else's name
If you follow the evening star.
Have you ever known a sunset when the sky's on fire
How you end another day boy you've been searching too far
Like the desert I rode on any memory is lost in the restless wind
I just lie beneath the evening star.
Chorus:
Evening star
Shine a little Heaven
On a stranger with no dream
Where you are.
Have you ever held a woman in the California moonlight
Put your money on a good night if you never been there
It's a sight for sore eyes if you wanna see the wonders of the age
Making love beneath the evening star.
Chorus
Evening star
Shine a little Heaven
on a stranger with no dream
Where you are.
You can see the loneliness I mean and if I gotta fight
I will never play somebody else's game
I can follow the evening star
Starlight, you never need somebody else's name
If you follow the evening star...

Till We Cease
i'll take the plunge
before you
let us meet death as one
together
walking alone together forever
take my hand
as you took my heart
death steals my pulse
as you stole my heart
past the first time, to the wedding band
death cant break our hands apart
i know it in the flecks of your eyes
even if we die
our hearts wont die
a single solitude together
we walk together
alone and consumed in death
forever
promise you wont ever
let my hand
my heart
go
the fire in you soul
lights our way
hoping its a blackhold
just think....
lost forever
together
with my love
catch the blood flow
in the heart
the beat of my heart
in sync with the beat of our steps
maybe well stop to rest
make me yours
make you mine
you inside me, inside this night
and at the end
of forever
hold my hand tight
dont let go
till we cease to breath this dank death
you had my life, and now the rest
with your eyes holding my eyes
our eyes a firelight
of passion
torches burning to the soul
my guide through a blackhole
my hand and yours melted so tight
making eachother ours in this night
firelight your eyes
the love that never dies

Awakening
in the deep slumber, the echo of the night lives,
wondering the sweet experience of the past,
the lasting bastion of existence of the soul
a milk in the lips of the child, hold on the
breath of each day to survive, like lime of the
sweeten tongue of every lip quest its thirst
awake every deep sleep
sow then the fertile land of wheat, for
nothing would be hungry in the each stomach
that is full, uproot and lead every sweet
strengthen sweat that touches the ground nay,
lay not the hands to toil the land for death waits
no one in the grave
leave not to hold the closing eye the vision to
walk in the valley of tears, for only the presence
of the heart will tell where the night is falling
apart, in the dream that your eyes is open to close
just be there and hold me tight, the star is there
waiting to grasp the falling rainbow in your
eyes......

People who waits their beloved one in their
Deep sleep “

You are the stars
Oh, my dear morning star,
you came so unexpected;
Oh, my dear evening star,
you left me on this path misdirected;
Oh, my dear blazing star,
you filled my eyes with your lightness;
Oh, my dear falling star,
you disappeared with your brightness;
Oh, my dear guiding star,
you became my inspiration;
Oh, my dear polar star,
you still shine with your sensation.

Future Land
Its a nightmare leading out of the dark
Tears running out of my eyes
Wake up and bring the truth into your life
I cant stand it anymore
All those nightmares - endless despair
Walk away from this dream
Show me the way out of the darkness
Into a land of light
See the world with different eyes
Theres something true in this life
And I start getting closer
Youd better not fall behind
Dont take me to tomorrow
Dont take me to the future land
Dont take me to tomorrow
Dont take me to the future land
And now Ive had enough of this ride
Just let me out of this game
So many reasons to step out and pay
Everyday its the same
No more hiding - deep inside me
The pictures start to be real
Youd better listen to your heartbeat again
I know I wanna be free
See the world with different eyes
Theres something true in this life
And I start getting closer
Youd better not fall behind
Dont take me to tomorrow (oh, no)
Dont take me to the future land (no lying - anymore)
Dont take me to tomorrow(mmmh, I)
Dont wanna see the future land
Dont take me to tomorrow (into the land of light)
Dont take me to the future land
Dont trade your life for sorrow (reach out for the paradise)
Stop longing for the future land
So many feelings deep in your heart
Dont you believe in this dream
So dont hide them deep inside you
Let them out this time, yeah
Dont take me to tomorrow (no lying anymore)
Dont take me to the future land (oh no)
Dont take me to tomorrow (dont take me away)
Dont take me to the future land (without day or night)
Dont trade your life for sorrow (oh no)
Stop longing for the future land (for the land of light)
Its a nightmare leading out of the dark
Tears running out of my eyes
Wake up and bring the truth into your life
I cant stand it anymore
All those nightmares - endless despair
Walk away from this dream
Show me the way out of the darkness
Into a land of light
Dont take me to tomorrow
Dont take me to the future land
Dont take me to tomorrow
Dont wanna see the future land
Dont trade your life for sorrow...

The Eyes Of Death
I have stared into the eyes of death with my own
It is hard to see death eye to eye, face to face
Many times death leaves a cold darkness
Other times death leaves a bright light
There are many who may welcome death
They are ready to meet their maker face to face
Others attempt death by their own hand
For whatever reason I can see the torment in their eyes
I have stared into the eyes od death only to see darkness
It has been my own death that I have seen
Many times by my own hand
Others by the hand of others I have seen my death in their eyes
Whatever death is my fate let me face it
Eye to eye as I have seen others no regrets
Even though I would be dead
Let others see that I have made peace with my maker and others

Beyond
MY heart it lies beyond, dear,
In the land of the setting day,
Where the whispers are soft and fond, dear,
Of the voices that pass away;
And oft, when the night is falling,
5
And a calm is on the sea,
I fancy I hear them calling
rom that far-off land for me.
It is only idle dreaming,
But the dream is full of rest,
10
And up where that glory is streaming,
From the gates of the golden west,
I wander away in spirit,
With a mingled joy and pain,
Till I almost seem to inherit
15
The sweet dead past again.
I see the old dear faces,
I greet them hand to hand;
But sadly too, for the places
Seem strange in that curious land;
20
Till a new light breaks, and all other
Grows dim to my streaming eyes;
For a son has found his mother
In the depths of the throbbing skies.
Yes, my heart it lies beyond, dear,
25
Where that sun is burning low,
And were you not so fond, dear,
I might perhaps—but no!
Are you weary already with walking?
And tears! What tears, dear, too!
30
How selfish of me to be talking,
My darling, in this way to you!

He Remembers Forgotten Beauty
When my arms wrap you round I press
My heart upon the loveliness
That has long faded from the world;
The jewelled crowns that kings have hurled
In shadowy pools, when armies fled;
The love-tales wrought with silken thread
By dreaming ladies upon cloth
That has made fat the murderous moth;
The roses that of old time were
Woven by ladies in their hair,
The dew-cold lilies ladies bore
Through many a sacred corridor
Where such grey clouds of incense rose
That only God's eyes did not close:
For that pale breast and lingering hand
Come from a more dream-heavy land,
A more dream-heavy hour than this;
And when you sigh from kiss to kiss
I hear white Beauty sighing, too,
For hours when all must fade like dew.
But flame on flame, and deep on deep,
Throne over throne where in half sleep,
Their swords upon their iron knees,
Brood her high lonely mysteries.

Through The Valley
(After James Thomson)
As I came through the Valley of Despair,
As I came through the valley, onmy sight,
More awful that the darkness of the night,
Shone glimpses of a Past that had been fair,
And memories of eyes that used to smile,
And wafts of perfume from a vanished isle,
As I came through the valley.
As I came through the valley I could see,
As I came through the valley, fair and far,
As drowning men look up and see a star,
The fading shore of my lost Used-to-be;
And like an arrow in my heart I heard
The last sad notes of Hope’s expiring bird,
As I came through the valley.
As I came through the valley desolate,
As I came through the valley, like a beam
Of lurid lightning I beheld a gleam
Of Love’s great eyes that now were full of hate.
Dear God! dear God! I could bear all but that;
But I fell down soul-stricken, dead, thereat,
As I came through the valley.

Time To Kill
Well, I was born on a dead end street
I'm cold blooded but I always felt the heat.
All my friend are dead and gone
If there's a hell, I'm one step closer to it
Somewhere I crossed the line
Somewhere I'm lost in time
I lost my soul and now I'm losing my mind
Time to kill I've had enough of all your lies
I've only got time to kill
I've seen the fire in my eyes
I've only got time to kill
I spend my days counting bricks on the wall
And every night I hear those sirens call
I sink deeper into a convict's sleep
And dream about the day I'm gonna hit the streets
One time I cursed the man
He laughed and broke my hand
I'm gonna take that fist and make him understand
I'll make him understand
I've had enough of long goodbyes
I've only got time to kill
I feel the fire in my eyes
I've only got time to kill
Y'know I always thought there was time enough
To win the game
But now I know times are rough
The seasons changed, times are strange
Somewhere I crossed the line
Somewhere I'm lost in time
I lost my soul and now I'm losing my mind
Time to kill I've had enough of all your lies
I've only got time to kill
I've seen the fire in my eyes
I've only got time to kill
I've had enough of long goodbyes
I've only got time to kill
I feel the fire in my eyes
I've only got time to kill
