Nothing which is true or beautiful or good makes complete sense in any immediate context of history; therefore we must be saved by faith. Nothing we do, however virtuous, can be accomplished alone; therefore we are saved by love. No virtuous act is quite as virtuous from the standpoint of our friend or foe as it is from our standpoint. Therefore we must be saved by the final form of love which is forgiveness.

Saved By Love
Laura loves her little family,
And shes the kind of woman who loves them with her life.
But sometimes in the evening,
When the world rests on her shoulders
With four walls closing in,
Shell close her eyes.
Oh....
Its not like she misses being younger,
Though she never was in vogue magazine or on tv;
Her husband loves her dearly,
And the morning shows her clearly,
Kisses her little baby girl.
Laura, shes the queen of the world.
Cant imagine ever leaving now,
Now that shes been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love.
Listen to her quiet heart singing loud.
Laura, shes been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love.
I know that shes been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love.
Saved by love.
Theres nothing quite like my familys love to warm me,
And nothing short of deaths gonna ever leave me cold.
Well, still at times its lonely,
But through it all it only
Makes me love jesus more,
And this is what he came here for.
I cant imagine ever leaving now.
Now that Ive been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love.
Hes gone and turned my crazy world back around,
And Ive been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love.
I know that Ive been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love....
Oh, Im never leaving now,
Now that Ive been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love.
Hes gone and turned my crazy world back around,
And Ive been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love.
Amy, shes been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love....
Saved by love.
Im saved by love.
Thats right.
And nothing I can say,
Nothing I can do, nothing I can say.
Were all just saved by love.
Nothing you can say, nothing you can do.
Only love can say, only love can do,
Only love can say.
Only love can say, only love can do,
Only love can say.
Im say-yay-yaved by,
Im saved by, by,
Nothing you can do, nothing you can say,
Only love can say....

The Skinflint
The skinflint saved his policies,
The skinflint saved his plugs,
The skinflint saved his first house keys,
The skinflint saved his mugs...
The skinflint saved his chewing gum,
The skinflint saved his rope,
The skinflint saved his small toy drum,
The skinflint saved his soap...
The skinflint saved his worn-out shoes,
The skinflint saved his clothes,
The skinflint saved his tubes of glues,
The skinflint saved his bows...
The skinflint saved his dated files,
The skinflint saved his drapes,
The skinflint saved his airline miles,
The skinflint saved his tapes...
The skinflint saved, yes, on the whole...
The skinflint saved so well?
The skinflint never saved his soul!
So God sent him to Hell...

Saved
I was blinded by the devil,
Born already ruined,
Stone-cold dead
As I stepped out of the womb.
By his grace I have been touched,
By his word I have been healed,
By his hand Ive been delivered,
By his spirit Ive been sealed.
Ive been saved
By the blood of the lamb,
Saved
By the blood of the lamb,
Saved,
Saved,
And Im so glad.
Yes, Im so glad,
Im so glad,
So glad,
I want to thank you, lord,
I just want to thank you, lord,
Thank you, lord.
By his truth I can be upright,
By his strength I do endure,
By his power Ive been lifted,
In his love I am secure.
He bought me with a price,
Freed me from the pit,
Full of emptiness and wrath
And the fire that burns in it.
Ive been saved
By the blood of the lamb,
Saved
By the blood of the lamb,
Saved,
Saved,
And Im so glad.
Yes, Im so glad,
Im so glad,
So glad,
I want to thank you, lord,
I just want to thank you, lord,
Thank you, lord.
Nobody to rescue me,
Nobody would dare,
I was going down for the last time,
But by his mercy Ive been spared.
Not by works,
But by faith in him who called,
For so long Ive been hindered,
For so long Ive been stalled.
Ive been saved
By the blood of the lamb,
Saved
By the blood of the lamb,
Saved,
Saved,
And Im so glad.
Yes, Im so glad, Im so glad,
So glad, I want to thank you, lord,
I just want to thank you, lord,
Thank you, lord.

You Say You Are Saved
Peppered and salted is your tongue.
And you say you are saved.
Prepared and quick you are,
To assault and offend anyone.
And you say you are saved.
What is it you run from when done?
When you say you are saved.
What is it that you think,
You are protected from?
When you say you are saved.
Do you have what's needed to stop your agonies?
And when you plead to be released from bended knees...
Repeatedly,
What is that saves you...
When you say you pray faithfully,
And it stays that way everyday.
What is it you run from when done?
When you say you are saved.
What is it that you think,
You are protected from?
When you say you are saved.
To hide what you do on a daily basis.
Peppered and salted is your tongue.
And you say you are saved.
Prepared and quick you are,
To assault and offend anyone.
And you say you are saved.
You say it.
But what is it saved that you obey?
You 'say' you are saved,
But...
From what?

Cantiga de Santa Maria No. 194
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
so against evil doers it is mighty and fearful.
Concerning this, a miracle happened in the land of Catalonia to a minstrel who sang well, with grace and ease, earning a good living, he came to lodge in the house of a greedy knight
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
who gave him all that he needed that night. However, that base and avaricious knight began to covet so greatly the donkey and clothes belonging to that minstrel that he ordered one of his men, evil and cruel,
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
to go with another of his group and waylay him in a hidden place in the mountains. The man did so gladly, for it was a favorite pastime of his, and I assure you, he was always eager to do dastardly deeds.
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
He took a companion of the same ilk with him. The next morning the minstrel took leave of the knight, and, as soon as he was on his way and they saw him travelling all alone, those two caught him in a steep and rocky place.
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
They dragged him far off the road and did not leave him anything of what he was carrying. Then they decided between them to cut off his head, but neither the Virgin nor Her glorious Son would permit it.
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
While the two were arguing over which one would kill him, they cast lots to see who would go first, but Holy Mary would not allow such a deed to be carried out, for the minstrel cried out loudly: "Mother of the merciful King
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
do not let them kill me, defend me without delay." They, when they heard this, began to run away and lost all feeling in their bodies at that moment so that they could not speak. The minstrel who had been robbed
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
of all he had possessed when he saw that they were in that state, staring at each other and not speaking between themselves, took all his belongings and went away and they remained in great fear of death
Just as the name of the Virgin is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
No one had ever heard tell of such a marvelous miracle that uttering the name of the Virgin might cause a man to feel nothing in his body. However, the prophet said long ago that Her name was as terrible as a mighty army.
Just as the name of the Virgin / is beautiful to the virtuous,
…
The minstrel went on his way, giving joyful praise to the glorious Virgin, salvation of sinners. All who heard of this, both great and small, considered it a noble and merciful miracle.

Saved
Late again, no time wait in line
To get what you need
Still how you feel just to keep it real
You never really needed anyone to tell you what to be
Or what you should do
This is your dream
What you want it to be, you can be
Saved by love and your faith
Chorus: (x5)
Saved by love
Climb your ladder, how high do you get?
No one will know
When you get time, pull on through
Cant tell just how much time we get
Wish that we knew
If its guidance you see, look inside of you
What you want it to be, you can be
What you wanted to sees in front of me
What you wanted to give, you have gave
Saved by love and your faith
Chorus: (x5)
Saved by love
What you wanted to be, you cant be
What you wanted to sees in front of me

You Saved Me
True stories (what)
Miracles (what)
True blessings (what)
All because of love
True stories (what)
Miracles (what)
True blessings (what)
All because of love
I was riding in my car one day (oh)
In the express lane rolling down the freeway
And suddenly the phone rings
Then I reached down beside me
Then I looked on the floor felt on the back seat
See I was drinking while I was driving
Never thinking bout what I was doing
I turned around and before I knew it
Here comes this truck now
The doctor said I don't think he's gonna make it
Family said make the funeral arrangements
Unplug the machine he's gone now
then told my wife to be strong now
then a small voice said on to me
if you promise to stop drinking
I surrendered on that day
And for 10 years I've been straight
Chorus:
You saved me(woah) You saved me.
You saved me, You saved me, gave me a second chance
You saved me, You saved me
You saved me, You saved me
Now I've been sitting in the chair
waiting on the phone to ring
Praying up to God that someone would call me with a job opening
Cause its been so hard for me month to month
Struggling to eat but still there was no answer(no answer)
I stopped believing in his word And got so mad at him
When somebody say Gods good I just laugh at them(oh yeah)
And in the nick of time his blessing rained on me
By his grace the phone ring a lady says were hiring
And that's when I knew
Chorus:
You saved me(saved) You saved me.
You saved me, You saved me, gave me a second chance
You saved me, You saved me
You saved me, You saved me
Now I was 18 out on the block selling drugs
With a gun at my waist And for people had no love
See the streets was my home and family and friends were gone
Had no one to trust and deep inside I was all alone
And then a deal went bad one day and it was enough to pause me
I was shot 4 times and before I knew it I was on my knees
(Blood gushing out my body my hearts beatin fast
I don't know what I'm a do I don't think I'm gonna last)
Then I began to flash back on the thing I've done in my past
(Then I heard a small voice that said to me I'll give you peace if u believe)
I accepted Christ that day hallelujah now I'm free
Chorus:
You saved me(saved) You saved me.
You saved me, You saved me, gave me a second chance
You saved me, You saved me
You saved me, You saved me
I was in the aisle of the grocery store
With a pain in my chest and I'm wondering where did it come from
(I got tested)and the results came back and the doctor said I'm sorry but you got cancer
I could not believe it so I called up my mama to calm my nerve
(mama)she got down on her knees (mama)she said a prayer for me
(mama) said just keep on thanking Jesus (mama)he'll give you all you need
That was five years ago don't have that pain no mo
Doc says you can go home cause all your caners gone
Chorus:
You saved me(sad you saved me) You saved me.
You saved me, You saved me, gave me a second chance
You saved me, You saved me
You saved me, You saved me

Cause I was sittin there bored to death
And in just one breath he said
You gotta get up

You gotta get down girl
You know you drive me crazy baby
Youve got me turning to another man
Called you on the phone
No ones home
Baby why ya leave me all alone
And if it wasnt for the music
I dont know what Id do
Last night a dj saved my life
Last night a dj saved my life from a broken heart
Last night a dj saved my life
Last night a dj saved my life with a song
You know I hopped into my car
Didnt get very far no
Because I had you on my mind
Why be so unkind?
Youve got your women all around
All around this town, boy
But I was trapped in love with you
And I didnt know what to do
But when I turned on my radio
I found out all I needed to know
Check it out

Hey listen up to your local dj
You better hear what hes got to say
Theres not a problem that I cant fix
Cause I can do it in the mix
And if your man gives you trouble
Just you move out on the double
And you dont let it trouble your brain
Cause away goes troubles
Down the drain
I said away goes troubles
Down the drain
Last night a dj saved my life
Theres not a problem that I cant fix
Cause I can do it in the mix

Love and the Gentle Heart
Love and the gentle heart are one thing,
just as the poet says in his verse,
each from the other one as well divorced
as reason from the mind’s reasoning.
Nature craves love, and then creates love king,
and makes the heart a palace where he’ll stay,
perhaps a shorter or a longer day,
breathing quietly, gently slumbering.
Then beauty in a virtuous woman’s face
makes the eyes yearn, and strikes the heart,
so that the eyes’ desire’s reborn again,
and often, rooting there with longing, stays,
Till love, at last, out of its dreaming starts.
Woman’s moved likewise by a virtuous man.

A Virtuous Woman II
Signs of the time,
Widespread enough to catch a mouse;
But time are chainging for you and me,
Because, the wages of sin are seen all around us!
To succeed when you have views and,
To open your eyes when you are in love;
But your beauty is like the sun of the moon! !
Beauty and love,
And like the beats of the drummer-boy!
But to love with the fiery essence is like the love of your sweet muse;
And, i have seen what my heart yearns for! !
Becasue, you are the one;
And like soul to soul and eye to eye.
A virtuous woman is what you are!
And like the joy of the sweet songs of love;
But to open my window to you is like,
Seeing the nakedness of you! !
And, i have seen what my heart yearns for.
A virtuous woman,
Two are better than one;
And like a typical farmer with a cutlass in his hand;
But, the land of the legends will always sing my muse!
Because, i was made to love all races in the name of love!
But, a virtuous woman is what you need beside you.

Saved By The Music
When youre swallowing all your pride
Do you need somewhere
A place to hide
A smile from your face
Where the light comes shining through
All its strength it came from you
Its lost now all that age before I knew you
Is it that forever is hard to find
You made me recognise what Id been leaving far behind
Is it closing in on you like it was on me
This time Im saved by the music
Saved by the song we can sing
This time Im saved by the music
Saved by the song that you bring
When youre following all lifes lies
And find its meaning
The truth still hides
Dont cover your face
Let the warmth come flowing through
Welcome dawn new morning dew
This time Im saved by the music
Saved by the song we can sing
This time Im saved by the music
Saved by the song that you bring
When youre swallowing all lifes lies
This time were saved by the music
Saved by the song we can sing
This time were saved by the music
Saved by the song that you bring
This time were saved

Saved Life
when you have alochol running you
it seems like a rock holding you down
squeezing your soul then ripping it out
you loose your way and feel loads of pain
my husband saved my life
an insperation and like beautiful snow on a winters day
i was able to see how life could be
you look at the sky and wanna fly
looking at trees you wanna climb
looking at the fish and smelling the sea
everything is more clear and beautiful
i finally was able to love someone
my husband mainly saved me from myself
how many men can do that for you?
he has the sweetest soul and softest touch
my heart was fixed the bond was strong
i hope one day i can give back what
he gave to me a new lease on life
my husband saved me he saved my life.

The most virtuous are those who content themselves with being virtuous without seeking to appear so.
He Was Saved
HE WAS SAVED
He did not die,
He was saved,
From living in the world of,
Illusions, dishonesty and cheats,
He used to talk,
Of honesty, love and compassion,
If he lived,
He has to bear the burden,
Of corpses of honesty and truth,
He did not die,
He was saved

Virtuous Queen
1.
Virtuous Queen,
suspended by two realities:
tell us stories
of Abraham,
Isaac and Jacob.
Tell us how
you broached
the news to Joseph.
Tell us how they mocked
your immaculate conception.
Tell us of Jesus'
formative years.
2.
Virtuous Queen,
human and divine,
Mother of disciples,
teach us how to pray,
how to nurture God,
how to live the Christian life,
even when we are torn
and slaughtered.
How to love,
even when we are hated
and despised.
3.
Virtuous Queen,
robed in righteousness,
comfort us.
Radiant Majesty,
enlighten us.
Sorrow Personified,
mourn with us.
Faithfulness Exemplified,
Mother of kings,
teach us.
Matriarch of heaven,
intercede for us.
Amen!
