The word "mundane" has come to mean boring and dull, and it really shouldn't. It should mean the opposite because it comes from the latin mundus, meaning the world, and the world is anything but dull; the world is wonderful. There's real poetry in the real world. Science is the poetry of reality.

Poetry is Everywhere

To all my friends who say –
Poetry is not my cup of tea,
I’d strongly recommend that
they watch “Dead Poet’s Society”.

Poetry is in your cup of tea,
poetry is in every wave of the sea,
poetry is in the song of a bird
poetry springs forth from each of your word.

Poetry is in the smile of a baby,
poetry is in the redness of a ruby,
poetry is the union of your heart and mind
poetry teaches you to be soft and kind.

Poetry is the song of your soul,
poetry reminds you of your life’s goal,
poetry is in a game of cricket,
poetry is in the sound of a cricket.

Imagine life without poetry -
What an empty life it would be!
Imagine a world without poetry -
What a dull place it would be!

What's the real meaning of Poetry

Poetry, Poetry, Poetry
what is the real meaning of you?
is it the sonnets, the haiku's the imagery
no one will ever know.

Poetry, Poetry, Poetry
I know the real meaning of you
to express my feelings and thoughts on paper
to be able to publish you.

Poetry, Poetry, Poetry
you tell me the meaning of you.

Real Cool World

So far this love is delightful
The face of seduction was you
But I listened for each and every footstep
In this real cool world
Questioning saintlike and fantastic heroes
Feeling like lost little children in fabled lands
So I listen for each and every friendship
In this real cool world
Now there is you
In my real cool world
Starry-eyed life but somehow believing in nothing
You whisper sweet nothing but reading between your lines
I listen color me doubtful
In this real cool world
Now there is you
In my real cool world
You came from nowhere
You came from nowhere
You held me you shook me
Hey
Its a cool world
Its a cool world
Its a real cool world
Its a real cool world
Its a real cool world
Its a real cool world
Now there is you
In my real cool world
Now there is you
In my real cool world
Mmmm
Real cool world

The True Meaning of Poetry!

What is the true
meaning of poetry?
Is it rhyming
words together?
Is it about love?
Is it about
impressing?
No, unlike some,
I have discovered the,
true meaning of poetry!

Poetry is the feelings in your heart!
It's really just your heart on paper!
Poetry can be about anything really,
Anything at all! It can have a certain theme,
Like shoes, a talent, a fantasy, love,
World issues, personal issues, history,
Past events, important things!
Poems can mean nothing,
But they can also mean the
World to any one! You just
Never know! Poetry is a way
For people to express them-
Selves. Ex-addicts sometimes
Use poetry to help them when they
Are craving their old addictions.
Like I said, poetry can mean
Nothing to one person,
But mean the world to another!

A Freedom By Poetry!

Poetic freedom is the real freedom for human race;
The freedom they enjoy nobody enjoys in the world!
Free birds are the poets leading the world to freedom;
Nothing can stop the poetic spirit of human beings here!

Human life is incomplete without poetry in the world;
Poetry expresses the dreams, visions and imagination
Not only of the poets but also of the whole of mankind!
Poetry is also the criticism of human life in the world.

Poetry talks about the past, present and future for all;
Tells about love, life, Nature and beauty, a full knowledge!
Otherwise not anyone can gain that by any way in the world
And the place of poetry nothing can capture or replace ever!

Humankind is inspired by poetry for freedom to achieve freedom
And education for freedom can be imparted only by poetry ever!

A Definition of Poetry by a 15 yr old

Poetry does not need a meaning or defintion.
Poetry is how the reader reads it,
Poetry is how the poet writes it.
Poetry is real,
Poetry is fake,
Poetry is everything,
Poetry is fate.
Poetry is rythm.
Poetry can ryme.
Poetry is anything, I make it mine.

Sometimes I Read Or Hear A Poem

SOMETIMES I READ OR HEAR A POEM

Sometimes I read or hear a poem
And know there is real Poetry in the world-
Poetry that takes me beyond anything I myself could know or write-
Poetry of a different kind of Beauty -
A language I never thought to hear
But once heard charms and delights me
As never before.

There is Poetry-
And there are real Poets-
And there are yet Dreams to be written-

So write on Stranger
Maybe you are the next one
A real poet
A voice the world truly needs and wants and loves to hear
Beyond any ever heard before.

A Man Became Addicted To Poetry

A MAN BECAME ADDICTED TO POETRY

A man became addicted to poetry-
Wherever he went he read or wrote a few lines-
Poetry became much of what he did-
Poetry and poetry and poetry-
As if that alone could give meaning and pleasure to his life.

A man became addicted to poetry
And so lost at times
What true poetry is –

Now he writes without knowing
Whether he is truly writing
Or merely using the ‘idea and world of poetry’
For his own peace of mind.

The World Where I Belong

OOH THE WORLD MY SOUL HAVE LOVED TO BE

THE WORLD WHERE MY SOUL SOLD

THE WORLD MY SOUL SAW

THE WORLD WHERE MY SOUL SPEAKS SPEECHES

OF WISDOM

OF INSPIRATION TO INFLUENCE OTHER SOULS.

THIS IS THE WORLD WHERE THERE ARE NO ANY

DISCRIMINATIVE ANTAGONIST IS WHERE I BELONG.

I HAVE LOVED THIS WORLD AND SO PASSIONATE ABOUT IT

I CAN CONTINUE TO SPEAK ALL ABOUT THIS WORLD WITHOUT

COMING TO AN END, FOR I HAVE GOT A LOT TO SPEAK ABOUT THIS WORLD.

AM SPEAKING MY REASON FOR LOVING THIS WORLD, BUT NOT MAKING A RIDDLE.

ALL I THINK O F IS ABOUT THIS WORLD,

ALL I SPEAK IS ALL ABOUT THIS WORLD,

ALL I WISH TO LEAVE FOR, IS ABOUT THIS WORLD

INDEED IT HAS BEEN AND WILL FOREVER BE

A WORLD OF GREAT LEGENDS

THE WORLD I BELONG TO IS NO OTHER,

BUT THE WORLD OF POETRY.

I LOVE POETRY.

Making Poetry

Why did I make a poem?
It's more than you can imagine
It's not about black or white
Because the power of poetry that I'm dumbfounded
Look at the whole Bible, everything is poetry {not, but a holy book down from Allah is the truth}
Abstract ideas of science are all from the poem
Idealism actual human life is poetry
I'm just trying to be honest...
Creating poetry for me is more than anything
Not me want to be Jesus or Muhammad {but imitate their pious}
But I do not know what my purpose {paradise}
Only the most important is to produce poetry
I just write from the unreal world
Introduce something to people here
Are they willing to accept it or not does not matter
Since the poetry of the poem is the image of eternity
Who continue to fly and only revealed to the seeker
Poetry for me is more important than life
More important than my beloved
More important than my brother
Because the poem can represent any
Why did I make a poem?
When you reject the poem in your life
It has a form of poem to poem
Actually you can not escape from poetry
But you did not realize it, be aware of?
Indeed the poem is really real
Do you not believe how strong poetry
Look at all the countries in the world today
All poems must have an ideology
Ideology of all States is poetry
Do you still deny its power?
From now on, deep down consider
The poem is more than just blank words without the influence

Real Fiction

There are two kinds of fiction to find…
One in the world and the other in the mind.

When unpleasant things happen for real
With which the real mind is unable to deal,
It creates a world of fiction so it can survive
In order to justify that its unreal beliefs are alive.

These unreal beliefs have a real world all alone
As they deny real facts with data of their own.
Their fiction continues as world events transpire
With interpretation to support beliefs they require.

The world of fiction will collide with the world of real
As its members seek reality, it will lose its appeal.
Unless it dispenses with its delusions of the facts,
It will disappear as it's devoured by the reality it lacks.

Egoism of Poets

We don’t write poetry,
Poetry writes us.
How can we make poetry,
If we are part of poetry.
The world around us is poetry.
Poetry is already defined.
Calling ourselves poets.
Selfishness in every line.
Egoism in every word.
Stealing poetry from the world.
That already exists in every form.
It’s written in every mist,
Every tree, every bliss.
Who are we to write?
Calling ourselves masterminds.
Trapping ourselves in believe
That we are creating something unique
The world at our feet.
Just too full fill our need.
Even this poem is an act
of a selfish deed.
Every letter in ink.
Created through love and sin.
Writing on a paper
But it’s the world’s skin.
Pressing on the surface.
To see blue blood is our purpose.
Thinking poetry is ours.
Poetry devoured
By poets every hour.
Poems all around us.
Turning grey to dust.
Turning brown to rust.
We have captured the most
But there is still so much.
Bleeding away in disaster, poverty
And war.
Ink to us all.
A poet’s only lord.
His only norm, his only home.
His precious and beloved poem.

We should be ashamed.

Lair Dream's

Sometimes, rich
sometimes, poor
sometimes, happy
and sometimes, sad,
we fell happy we fell sad
but what for?
its not the real world,
tried hard to grab this beautiful life
though its not the real world
it made me float like a bird,
in the blue world, without a fear to fall
and made me, laugh and cry with dead's.
but thy, not the real world
opened my eye's show the world,
vanished my rich and wonderful world.

I Hear Nothing

I HEAR NOTHING

I hear nothing
There is no poem
No poetry
Dull stale flat unprofitable
Oh the uses of this world.
Silence
Fear
Oh the darkness the darkness
Deep deep deep
I hear nothing
I wait
A thousand great lines of others
And not one of mine
No poetry no poem no poet
The world is going on and by
And poetry is in it
But I am on the side mumbling in silence
A silence unheard and only alone.

Welcome To The Real World

I was a rich man, I was a thief
I was a sailor, shipwrecked on a reef
I was a coward, I was afraid
I was couragious, man I was brave
Until the oceans dry
Until the day you die
Until the stars fall out the sky
Welcome to the real world baby
Welcome to the way things are
Welcome to the real world darling
Step on for shangri-la
Welcome to the real world baby
Paradise guarantee
Welcome to the real world
Come and see what weve bequeathed
I was an angel, idolised
I was a devil in a disguise
I was a stalion, I was a mule
I was misguided, but nobodys fool
(chorus)
The day that I was born, daddy placed me on his knee
Said son youve got to be, a better man than me
Youre inherriting the world, make your mark on history
Welcome to the real world, be what youve got to be
Welcome to the real world

Real World

Days, times we will remember
When innocence was lost
We let our hearts move on
So many dreams we thought would last forever
Today it doesnt matter
All those dreams are gone, they are gone, oooh
Tell me how it feels again
Oh, show me that its real and then
Ill walk away, from my own reflection
The stranger that I knew
The stranger that was you
And now I face a cold return to sender
A truce but no surrender
A voice that wont ring true, where are you? oooh
I reach over the edge
And throw a penny in the wishing well
Its so deep that I can tell
That in the real world
Theres fewer stars in the sky
And in the real world
You can get hear children cry at night
This is the real world
There is no time, for a life of solitude
Only hunger and survival
In the world we were born into, were alone, oooh
And it brings me to my knees
Our father lay me down to sleep
Father please
Pray the lord my soul to keep
Keep us in the real world
Keep us in the real world
Dont have to tell you
In the real world
Theyll damn you if you try
In the real world
Let it begin with you and i
This is the real world
Theres fewer stars in the sky
This is the real world
You can get hear children cry at night
Now in the real world
Theyll damn you if you try
And in the real world
Let it begin with you and i
Living in the real world
Yeah, living in the real world

A World Poetry Day!

Everyday is ever poetry day for poet!
World poetry day is poetry celebration
Especially for world people to honour
Poetry of all writings of the world ever!

Novels, stories and articles are in vogue
But poetry cannot be ever left as vague!
Matter of a book, a few pages of story or
An article of length Poetry says in a line!

Poetry is the essence of matters in nutshell,
A seed that grows into big tree with leaves,
Flowers and fruits to please and guide all
To live life better loving Nature and lives!

Sans the inspiration of religious philosophy
Said in echoing verses of world where is it
One can get solace and wisdom to face woes
Struggling on the ocean of life to swim or sink?

Poetry is oldest of old medium yet a modern one
Brief as telegraphic language conveying message
Beautifully, musically and echoingly as mantra
In avatars new ever using words and forms old!

World celebration of poetry day today is wonder
For poets and lovers of poetry on modern websites
Just as enjoying old wine in new bottles all over
World of human beings unique in whole Universe!
