Language is not a handmaiden to perception; it is perception; it gives shape to what would otherwise be inert and dead. The shaping power of language cannot be avoided. We cannot choose to distance ourselves from it. We can only choose to employ it in one way rather than another.

When a film is created, it is created in a language, which is not only about words, but also the way that very language encodes our perception of the world, our understanding of it.

The musician - if he be a good one - finds his own perception prompted by the poet's perception, and he translates the expression of that perception from the terms of poetry into the terms of music.

Sonnet: Choose The Things in Your Life
0 choose your friend who must be good as you;
And choose your spouse better than you; make sure;
And choose the one best as your Teacher too;
And choose ambitions that suit your nature.
0 choose the profession thats truly best;
And choose the hobbies that ne'er interfere;
And choose your Time to begin work, take rest;
And choose your enemies, you surely fear.
0 choose your food that gives extended health;
And choose your garments -comfortable wear;
And choose the honest way to added wealth;
And choose the burden right, body can bear.
0 choose the people who deserve help most;
And choose good principles, yet never boast.

Perception
People do choose to protect their delusions,
In ways they've been taught...
Feels safe.
And perception plays a major part,
In the separating of truth...
From one's mind and heart!
If someone believes what another has said...
Little if any research will be done,
Before what has been shared is spread.
And this eases the way,
For a round of gossip to land in one's head.
And perception plays a major part,
In the separating of truth...
From one's mind and heart!
People do choose to protect their delusions,
In ways they've been taught...
Feels safe.

Me, Myself and I
You can choose to hate me
Or love me
You can choose to be a friend
Or an enemy
But that do not change
My abilities and capabilities
I am who i am destined to be
I can only be me
I know you have love for vanity
But i am the spirit
Which lives within me
I am not my skin
Nor what i wear
I am not what i hear
your perception do not
Put me to fear
No matter what happens
I will strive to live my life
For my life is my life

Beliefs Forever Tricked
Marketing a perception,
Is only as good as the result.
If an anticipated result is achieved,
A perception fed can be said to be successful.
Hopefully the perception sold,
Does not become intercepted by the reality.
A clash with reality could leave some minds whacked.
To become entrapped with beliefs forever tricked to enslave.

Perception
Trust and faith
in what I believe
comes to me
through all I perceive.
If I perceive myself
as free,
then that is what
I always will be.
If I perceive
that everything's fine,
then my perception
is a grand design
that takes me above
the chaos and fear.
It becomes nothing
to which I adhere.
If I perceive
that I'm in control,
then my perception is
a midnight's stroll
that leads me to find
great peace within.
It completes the perception
my vision lets in.

Evil is making a home of my heart

Choose
I choose focus
I choose freedom
to be happy, to have fun
to have a wonderful life
to be young, light and bright
I choose health, wealth
lands, treasures
I choose to trust, love
commitment, faith,
I choose to enjoy life
I choose the lord
I choose...
