My heart, with its lapping waves of song, longs to caress this green world of the sunny day.

My favourite song
Listen if you want,
I’ll sing you a song,
It’s my favorite one,
The song about love;
About love that lasts
For ever and ever long.
In the melody of this song
I’ll open the door to my soul
And without any parole
You’ll hear the words,
They belong to the only one,
Who means the world to me,
The one I would to love to live with happily,
The one my heart longs for,
The one I am on the right shore.
This song is about my flights
In the very blue sky.
This song is about my swims
In the seas and oceans
On the big waves,
Waves of passion and love emotions.
Come on! Sing with me this song!
If you want to know
How real love grows
Come on! Go!

Ashore, ashore with the tide’s flow
Ashore, ashore with the tide’s flow
As in a sack some thing washed in:
And lay amidst the shells
And pebbles of the shore
Amidst the lapping of the waters rude
And the sea-waves’ roar.
Ashore, ashore with the tide’s flow
The sea-waves washed her in
One eye was closed the other open
And on her golden hair
Were drops of red:
Wild lapped the sea-waves and the cloud
Frowned on the sea-shore
Amidst the lapping of the waters rude
And the sea-waves’ roar.
How many winters rude have skimmed
Their frozen fingers on the white breast
Of the pale moon-lit lake a-dreaming sound
How many a Spring of green
Has come and gone:
Since that ashore, ashore with the tide’s flow
The sea-waves washed her in
Her clothes that rich were tattered were
Unseemly with the smoke of cigars
And the drunk smell of alcohol
Her look was wild and sad and raw:
Wild lapped the sea-waves and the cloud
Frowned on the sea-shore
Amidst the lapping of the waters rude
And the sea-waves’ roar.

Stars
sunny days in a winter world
scatter deception in her eyes
a glimmer of white has fallen
on her smile now she cries,
a sunny world has died these days
now I know, she longs for the days she now denies
chorus:
she has fallen from the stars
and I don't know what it was
the sugar bowl snowed in her tomorrow
yes, she calls upon the stars
on her way of broken glass
to take away that bowl of sorrow
that bowl of sorrow
yesterday's fading grey,
she forgot the kid she used to be
the pallor white she seeks for day by day,
I forgot the kid she used to be
now I know, she longs for the days she now denies
chorus
now I know, she longs for the days she now denies

Zany You Are!
My heart, longs to see you!
To placate thy ire, this, soul injured, yearns.
Being wounded, I recall, your prick and reek.
My heart, longs to see you.
Kicked on my nose, saying fiery, ‘Go away’!
You could have pummeled my ditties flowing slow.
Or, you could let loose your, satire virulent.
Punchy poems are very hard, to glean their themes concealed.
My heart, longs to see you!
Weird you’re good friend, weighing up not easy.
Don’t veer hate on me, which you have on men.
Please, yield no place to, emotions unreined.
A zinger makes you rile and I yelp being frail!
My heart longs to see you!

Gilbert Green
On a hill , inside a house in covewell reach ,
Stands a man whos feeling very tired
Looking at a song he wrote some time ago
Could have made it big inside a broadway show
Every day I go away and find ideas
Think, Ill climb on top of somewhere high
Couldnt I write a song about a man whos dead
Didnt really know if he was off his head
Evrybody knows , thats the way it goes
Too bad for gilbert green
We can tell the world that he was right
Sitting in his attic on a sunny day
Mending 50 goblets that are worn
Humming to himself a song of yesteryear
His hearing wasnt good but his eyes were clear
Evrybody knows, thats the way it goes
Too bad for gilbert green
We can tell the world that he was right
Now the house is burnt along with gilbert green
Sad to see his sisters stand and cry
And in the basement lies a song that wasnt seen
Tells the tale of laughing men and yellow beans
Evrybody knows, thats the way it goes
Too bad for gilbert green
Now we can tell the world that he was right

The Grey Tide
The cold green rocks and lapping waves
Are all my world as here I sit
With downcast eye and heart that craves
The bush and blue sky over it.
The tide of years is washing by,
The misty water drifts between
A soul with wings that may not fly
And shadowy realms that might have been.
Too late, too late, alas, I know
The track that winds by shining leaves
From where the flood reflects, below,
The greyness of the heart that grieves.
Another yet may tread the way,
And offer at that hidden shrine
His gift of rolled and twisted clay,
And set his lips to holy wine.
Another yet may tinge the flame
Upon that altar blue or red,
And freely call upon Her name,
And taste at will the blessed bread.
The waves are grey about the rocks,
A cold wind sets across the sea,
A travelling ray of sunlight mocks
The shadow on the heart of me.

Just Listen To My Song (from 'Meet the Moments')
When my heart is lonely and blue
And just wondering about you
When the world outside is all cold
And my dreams to nowhere are true
And to the dark they surely unfold
Just listen to my song of loneliness
Just listen to the song I'm singing
I'll be touching out for each caress
That my feelings and paths are bringing
Every world has its own to care for
Love is something to adjust and to be
We can never be of us assure
Because freedom is to learn and to see
It's all about free will to you and me
Just listen to my song to the open air
Just listen to the singing from my heart
I will try to reach out and be there
To make each open opportunities start
Just listen to my song of loneliness
Just listen to the song I'm singing
I'll be touching out for each caress
Which those believes and ways are bringing
Whenever you touch and bring out of trouble
Anything you stand for on your own
It shall raise each fortress from rubble
Make each struggle for freedom be known

Sing A Song To Me
Sing a song to me
Let me hear the words
Caress my soul
Lift me to a blissful place
That mentions love untold
Sunny places for me to rest
Let it bring warmth
Lyrically wrap my heart
Dispel troubles of the day
Sing a song to me
That carries me to the clouds
So I can fly upon my dreams
Swoop down and see
Anxieties crushed and cowered
Worries scurry all away
Only joy enters me
Sing a song for me
Of kisses oh so soft
Touches like silk teasing
Breath warmly tickles
Empty mind full heart
Light, joy intertwined
Till the very end
Sing a song for me
Unity
I.
Heart of my heart, the world is young;
Love lies hidden in every rose!
Every song that the skylark sung
Once, we thought, must come to a close:
Now we know the spirit of song,
Song that is merged in the chant of the whole,
Hand in hand as we wander along,
What should we doubt of the years that roll?
II.
Heart of my heart, we cannot die!
Love triumphant in flower and tree,
Every life that laughs at the sky
Tells us nothing can cease to be:
One, we are one with the song to-day,
One with the clover that scents the world,
One with the Unknown, far away,
One with the stars, when earth grows old.
III.
Heart of my heart, we are one with the wind,
One with the clouds that are whirled o'er the lea,
One in many, O broken and blind,
One as the waves are at one with the sea!
Ay! When life seems scattered apart,
Darkens, ends as a tale that is told,
One, we are one, O heart of my heart,
One, still one, while the world grows old.

She Longs For A Love
Her eyes are brown, With a heart of Gold, She longs for a love, From the stories of old.
She longs for that soft touch, That only her dream man could give, The one that could wake her heart, So she could feel as tho she could live.
Her spirit would open up, As a bright blossoming rose, The whole world would lite up, As her whole body glows!

A deleted version
I love to hear the song
But not by my ear
The song is penned for some body
Who turns the song towards me?
After a few of serious songs
This melody seeks to set right me.
My heart longs to hear the song, however
Sing to kill me.
When I hear the hymn of the song
I feel I am in battlefield with no foes,
And
Rain is nowhere….but I am in rain.
Don’t sing for me-because
I got the upsetting curse not to listen this song.
My heart vehemently turns down the sound.
Carve the lyrics on my heart
By that
No humans perceive the sound of my heart’s whispering.
These absolute lines will be coming to my end
As a deleted version.

II: And As I Mused On All We Call Our Own
And as I mused on all we call our own,
And (in the words their passionate hope had taught
Expressing this late world for which they fought
And prayed) said, lifting up my head to the sun,
'Ne quibus diis immortalibus,'-one
Ran with fear's feet, and lo! a voice distraught
'The Prince' and 'Dead.' And at the sound methought
The bulwark of my great house thunder'd down.
And, for an instant,-as some spell were sapping
All place-the hilly billows and billowy hills
Heaved through my breast the lapping wave that kills
The heart; around me the floor rises and falls
And jabbling stones of the unsteady walls
Ebb and flow together, lapping, lapping.

On The Sunny Side
Hi and whoop-hooray, boys!
Sing a song of cheer!
Here's a holiday, boys,
Lasting half a year!
Round the world, and half is
Shadow we have tried;
Now we're where the laugh is,--
On the sunny side!
Pigeons coo and mutter,
Strutting high aloof
Where the sunbeans flutter
Through the stable roof.
Hear the chickens cheep, boys,
And the hen with pride
Clucking them to sleep, boys,
On the sunny side!
Hear the clacking guinea;
Hear the cattle moo;
Hear the horses whinny,
Looking out at you!
On the hitching-block, boys,
Grandly satisfied,
See the old peacock, boys,
On the sunny side!
Robins in the peach-tree;
Bluebirds in the pear;
Blossoms over each tree
In the orchard there!
All the world's in joy, boys,
Glad and glorified
As a romping boy, boys,
On the sunny side!
Where's a heart as mellow?
Where's a soul as free?
Where is any fellow
We would rather be?
Just ourselves or none, boys,
World around and wide,
Laughing in the sun, boys,
On the sunny side!

The Heart Longs To Love
My poor heart longs to love
But it's still shattered from a brutal wound
My heart is yearning to love
Yet it can't find someone to love
My heart keeps beating, but it's not living
My heart wants to love & to be loved
Why can't my heart repair itself and love again?
My heart is useless
It's still ill, still broken, still weak
I want to love but my heart can't go on
Why can't my heart repair itself and love again?
My poor heart longs to love
It seeks for the warmth of loves' high, the fast beating of a new day
It can't go on looking for a non existing dream
It can't bring itself to repair and love again.
My poor heart longs to love.

Sunny Inside
Dont need drugs, dont want money
You come along and shook me honey
All I want is you right by my side
With our love taken care of
From now on I aint scared of
Lonely nights, I can kiss those days good-bye.
Although we walk in the rain
My heart feels sunny inside
With you babe.
Long blonde hair, blue blue eyes
Come on baby, please dont cry
Talk to me, let me know its alright.
Although we walk in the rain
My heart feels sunny inside
With you babe.
Feel sunny inside
Sunny inside.
All day long I will sing my song to you
All day long I can sing this song to you.

Heart
Heart.
Why can't I fix you?
He sprinkled his blackness all over my heart like rain coming down from the sky.
Where is the tape so I can mend my heart?
Is it lost in his soul where the black hole hides or is it in the girl's heart who he longs everynight like a kid longs for candy.
I guess I will never know

Caress me this way
Caress me this way, tonight i want to feel the restless
of your heartbeat, when you are next to me.
caress me this way, there's nothing better in life then
to say yes to the heart, when is yearning for love.
caress me this way, and in a kiss, i will confess
the most sweetest secret of love, that I carry in
my heart. come near me, and tonight lets live both, the most
beautiful insane moment of passion, caress me this way,
the way I feel your heart beat.

Fishermans Song
[ I think gabriel only sings on this song; I dont think he wrote the lyrics or played any instruments, but I could be wrong. ]
I dream of my love from afar
She is near me like a star
I dont want to live without her
Wind and waves go on about her
The waves of our love, the waves of our song,
Deep in our heart, where they belong

Song Of The Mermaid
On a day of days
I stood and gazed
Over the western sea
I was completely dazed,
Wide-mouthed and amazed
When a mermaid called to me
Ooh-ooooh ooooooooooh, my sunny sailor boy
Ooh-ooooh ooooooooooh, my sunny sailor boy
Like a man in a dream,
For an age it seemed
I stood as still as a stone
While the mermaid sang
And her melody rang
Like a memory calling me home
Ooh-ooooh ooooooooooh, my sunny sailor boy
Ooh-ooooh ooooooooooh, my sunny sailor boy
Then the sea and the wind
And the shores did spin
And though my resistance was strong
All the stars in space
Filled the mermaids face
As she captured my will with her song
Ooh-ooooh ooooooooooh, my sunny sailor boy
Ooh-ooooh ooooooooooh, my sunny sailor boy
Somehow I spoke --
The enchantment broke
I rubbed my eyes open wide
Like a dream she was gone
All that remained was a song
Borne on the ebbing tide
Ooh-ooooh ooooooooooh, my sunny sailor boy
Ooh-ooooh ooooooooooh, my sunny sailor boy

The Skylark
The earth was green, the sky was blue:
I saw and heard one sunny morn,
A skylark hang between the two,
A singing speck above the corn;
A stage below, in gay accord,
White butterflies danced on the wing,
And still the singing skylark soared,
And silent sank and soared to sing.
The cornfield stretched a tender green
To right and left beside my walks;
I knew he had a nest unseen
Somewhere among the million stalks:
And as I paused to hear his song,
While swift the sunny moments slid,
Perhaps his mate sat listening long,
And listened longer than I did.
