War is a survival among us from savage times and affects now chiefly the boyish and unthinking element of the nation. The wisest realize that there are better ways for practicing heroism and other and more certain ends of insuring the survival of the fittest. It is something a people outgrow. But whether they consciously practice peace or not, nature in its evolution eventually practices it for them, and after enough of the inhabitants of a globe have killed each other off, the remainder must find it more advantageous to work together for the common good.

A Law Written By Mother Nature

A law written by Mother Nature that the strongest in their kingdom do rule
But amongst the creatures of Nature none are born to feel guilty of being cruel
For Nature's creatures kill for survival if they don't eat of hunger they will die
Those who say that birds and animals are cruel to each other are naive or preacing a lie,
The strongest male mates with the female his genes are destined to live on
His offspring will fight for a harem when he back to Nature has gone
'Tis known as survival of the fittest it happens in Nature every day
The strongest one passes on his genes that does seem the natural way
Of insuring the survival of a species the weaker one never gets the chance to mate
He cannot hope to be a father his own image for to create
The big male who once ruled the harem in the bosom of Nature now lay
And his descendants now fight for their females 'tis the workings of Nature some say,
A law written by Mother Nature that the one with the most sexual drive
Is usually the biggest and strongest and his genes destined to survive.

The survival

I work for my family.
I am good to many.
People say I am good.
It is for my survival.
He works for nation.
He serves his people.
They all say he is good.
It is for his survival..

The Screen Behind The Mirror

(m.cretu.) .
Heres the mirror
Behind there is a screen
Turn around
On both ways you can get in
The experience of survival
Look around just people, can you hear their voice
Find the one wholl guide you to the limits of your choice
The experience / of survival
Try to think about it ...
Thats the chance to live your life and discover
Try to think about it
The experience of survival
The experience ...
The experience of survival
The experience ...

It Is Survival Of The Fittest

On the flesh of smaller forms of wildlife the eagle she does fill her craw
A predator of Nature's wild kingdom and Nature lives by her own law
And the predators of Nature's wild kingdom they have to kill to stay alive
It is called the survival of the fittest where only the fittest survive.

The fear of creatures of the jungle when they listen to the big cats roar
But in Nature big cats are not seen as killers they hunt for survival nothing more
They have to hunt when they are hungry of meat they need their daily fill
It is one of the Laws of Nature that the predator to eat must kill.

Nature never grieves for her dead creatures to grieve it is not Nature's way
She is above sorrow and pity when on her bosom her dead creatures lay
Us humans too are part of Nature we live for awhile and we die
The creatures of Nature's wild kingdom they are not less mortal than I.

It is called survival of the fittest it happens in Nature night and day
Those that are born to be meat eaters on other creatures have to prey
And birth and death to Mother Nature are part of life and of the same
And for the deaths of her wildborn her predators she never blame.

War has no longer the justification that it makes for the survival of the fittest; it involves the survival of the less fit. The idea that the struggle between nations is a part of the evolutionary law of man's advance involves a profound misreading of the biological analogy. The warlike nations do not inherit the earth; they represent the decaying human element.

Strange And Disturbing!

Strange and disturbing!
In the jungles;
Where large animals devour small animals.
Four, devour!
Under the age old survival of the fittest rule;
Sour, devour!
The potter and the clay,
To study it;
Like the sand of the sea!
Variabel,
Pour, devour!
Available,
Traditions! !
Gentle,
Gentiles,
Of peace;
Obtained!
But, under the age old survival of the fittest rule;
And like an exciting time with the muse of the jungles.

With Me Now Just A Memory

With me now just a memory but memories with us remain
In the heavy rains of late Winter the female frog lay in the drain
Her eggs like crystal lumps of jelly from which her tadpoles hatched out
And all around their watery home they wriggled all about.

For to grow into adult frogs not many would survive
For many tadpoles had to die for one predator to stay alive
To the taste buds of a grey heron a plump tadpole tasted sweet
As one of the favourite water dwelling things that a heron loves to eat.

But a few avoided the sharp beak of the lanky bird of prey
For to grow into adult frogs for that is Nature's way
Of insuring species survival in such Nature a huge part does play
Survival of the fittest as some are known to say.

With me now just a memory of times that are long gone
And though the past it is behind us the memories live on
And I retain the memory of the croaking of the frog
On their breeding time in late Winter in the drain beside the bog.

Out There In Nature's Wild Kingdom

Out there in Nature's wild kingdom the struggle is for to survive
And the strongest and the fittest can only hope to thrive
In a time of Global warming chances of extinction multiply
And people as well as all of life endangered as the Planet becomes more dry,
Out there in Nature's wild kingdom by men one more wood is cut down
For to build a new housing estate on the verge of the town
Habitat destruction a huge threat to wildlife
In a World where human greed is becoming more rife
Out there amongst Nature birds and beasts of prey
The creatures of night and the creatures of day
Must kill for to eat such is life one might say
Survival of the fittest that is Nature's way
And out there in Nature's kingdom the fittest survive
And most creatures must struggle just to stay alive.

Tis Ungenerous And Oppressive People

'Tis ungenerous and oppressive people create refugees
The people who risk their lives in leaky boats on the dangerous seas
In search of a better and safer life in a Land far away
From where they first looked on the bright lamp of day
'Tis the greed of the greedy create poverty
And cause homelessness and hunger and inequality
'Tis survival of the fittest as some are known to say
In a fair Human World it should not have to be this way
So many disadvantaged in the social divide
And the gap between the haves and the have nots is growing ever wide
And many grow poorer for every new millionaire
The minority own the most of the World's wealth and most are unwilling to share
Even a small percentage of their millions with those in most need
'Twould seem survival of the fittest has it's roots in greed.

Come To My Aid

(m hucknall/f mcintyre)
Come to my aid youre sweet as everything
Come to my aid Id give you anything
I feel so betrayed by the people I love
Come to my aid its you Im thinking of
Prouder than wild
Sad enough to sing
Come to my aid and care for social living
Why are we liable to die for survival?
Why is our nation divided?
Come to my aid..
In the poverty stakes see just what it means
When welfare decimates youd better care
About your fellow people
Why are we liable to die for survival?
Why is our nation divided?
Come to my aid...
Come on board

Talking Hawking meeting Dawkins

Suppose that ‘Evolution’ were throned God,
with all the praise and power accorded That?
Where would that path then lead the human race?
And what new thoughts would fill our mind and heart?
Evolution would then rule three worlds:
As Spirit’s cause, and Mind, and world of Form;
would then be seen in Beauty, Goodness, Truth;
no longer mere Survival’s tooth and claw,
but Lord of evolution of our minds;
of spirit, too, in seeking its true self;
new Age of Reason, calling all our powers
to seek ideals as real; rightfully ours
from genesis to paradise above;
no longer as survival… but… as Love?

Extinction

The Past

A pristine blue sky
Mirrored agrarian lives
Living with nature.

Their work was always difficult
But that never seemed to matter.
Their crops were all that counted most:
Enough to feed the family
In good times as well as the bad
Everyone loved their plot of land.
They knew it meant their survival
So the hard work was the tradeoff.
What developed was mutual
Respect: an interconnection
Whereby one affects the other;
But then one day a cloud appeared:
A black, menacing, looming cloud
Foretelling future misfortune.

The Present

The industrial
Revolution dawned under
This foreboding cloud.

Machines began to do the work
That man and beasts for eons had
Performed with blood, sweat and tears.
His work was easier to do
But soon discovered that he had
Become an industrial slave.
A mere symbiotic creature:
His nature was parasitic.
He no longer had in himself
The oneness and independence
That he had always called his own.
He’d become fat and ignorant
Living by his own destructive
Philosophy: hedonism.

The future

The sky is poisoned
As well as the land and the seas.
The earth was dying.

Through Mans continuous neglect
The earth became terminally
Ill. It was no longer able
To sustain the needs of Mankind.
War broke out all over the globe
Millions killed, many more had starved
To death; billions soon will follow
Billions more after that. The stench
Of rotting flesh has overwhelmed
Those able to live another
Hopeless day, gasped the putrid air
Futile murmurings continued
Until silenced by the guns
The ultimate judicature.

An eerie silence
Prevailed and all that was heard
Was screeching vultures.

Thirteen Lines

A brain peered through stoic eyes;
Yet all it saw was rendered into
Flawed interpretation –
No honoured contemplation of a
Gluon, muon, quark of any flavour;
Nor a vision or conception of its world
Within a universe anthropic in its physical laws,
Inside a boundless multiverse.
All it gleaned and modelled
Bore parochialism well beyond belief! –
Delusional perhaps.
Survival only matters here on planet Earth –
Evolution saw to that.

Survival

Shadows of night falling over my head
People walking
Passing me by
Shadows of dreams falling out of the blue
People talking
What can I do
Where do I go from here
Where do I go from here
I could give you any dream and watch it grow
I could take you for a ride but you would know
I could tell you every answer that I know
It wouldnt be much tho
It wouldnt be anything you didnt know
But
Survival
Nothing more than survival
Shadows of days hanging endless in time
Slowly fading
Passing us by
Shadows of worlds disappearing from view
People asking
What could we do?
Where do I go from here
Where do I go from here
If I gave you every dream they would grow
If I took you for a ride would you know
If I told you every answer that I know
It wouldnt be much tho
It wouldnt be anything you didnt know
But survival
In you love, I have all that
I need for
Survival
With your love I have all that
I need for
Survival
With our love we have all that
We need for
Survival
