A Painful Back
if i had gone to Freud
he must have explained to me
the cause of this painful back
i think i know what he
will say
and that he will tell me always
that i am highly qualified for
my calculated risks
for my educated guess
for my tongue that knows how
it is
when it begins to slip

Heroes to me are guys that sit in libraries. They absorb knowledge and then the risks they take are calculated on the basis of the courage it took to become replete with knowledge.

Calculated
We do not learn to be patient.
Or teach ourselves to appreciate,
Each other's gifts.
With a respect or our blessings given.
We wish to use manipulation,
As a source to show our ways.
And we think our children 'cute'
When they begin to place,
Their deceptions on display.
And 'that' behavior is approved...
As being accepted and okay!
And that is calculated!
One that is encouraged,
To be awarded everyday.
We embrace it and become elated.
Calculated.
With anything that is done,
Calculated.
To undermine anyone.
And not having an insight...
To recognize it when it comes.
A calculation to undo,
Those we sought out to dupe...
And conquer,
In a glorious contrived win...
With a calculated ending.
But now finds us the ones,
Who hobble along...
Baffled, broken and stunned!
Calculated in a hidden secret mix.
And preparing to transfix inflated egos.
To experience a flopping...
Shocking to those downtrodden.
Without a clue or a hint of it!

Risks
In the taking of risks,
One makes the decision...
To boldly take those steps,
With a fear inside that may be felt...
Although from outer appearances,
That fear one knows may not be shown.
And if not for the taking of risks,
Advancements enjoyed might not be known.
Leaving those who began alone,
In the taking of them...
Seldom bestowed the credit for those risks taken.
Or share in the getting of those benefits given.

Risks and dangers
I like to take risks, I like to take dangers.
I like to live life on the wild side.
I've taken risks.
And played life dangerously.
I love a small sense of adventure.
Climbing a tree and getting stuck.
Climbing on roof tops.
You name it I've done it.
That's when life was fun and care free.
No I take risks and dangerous every day.
When I try to commit suicide

In order for people to be happy, sometimes they have to take risks. It's true these risks can put them in danger of being hurt.
don’t take undue risks
for life is so priceless
risks shouldn’t be lethal

Calculated With 'Come-Hither' Stares
Aligning and finding the mind is attached,
To that Great One who knows...
All that we sow and reap to adapt,
More than we should carry on our backs.
But...
We do because it is what 'we' choose.
Believing our shoulders are for this to be used.
The Great One has nothing to do with that!
Learn to remove those unconscious traps.
Calculated with 'come-hither' stares,
Alluring to seduce with temptations to induce...
Senses of despair to bear,
More than we should carry on our backs.
But do because it is what 'we' choose.
The Great One has nothing to do with that!
Be aware,
Of those calculated with 'come-hither' stares.
Be aware of them.
Be aware of them.
Be aware.
Be aware,
Of those calculated with 'come-hither' stares.
Be aware of them.
Be aware of them.
Be aware!

Few Can Pick Them To Then Run
How can one live without risks.
Or prevent risks to exist.
Risk taking is a part of this life lived,
As it is...
For everyone.
Few can pick them to then run.
Few can pick them to then run.
Few can pick them to then run...
To be undone.
Few can pick them to then run.
Few can pick them to then run.
Few can pick them to then run...
To be undone.
Living life is taking risks.
And no one living can resist...
Those risks.
Few can pick them to then run,
From those risks.
Few can pick them to then run,
From those risks.
Few can pick them to then run...
To be undone.

Sonnet - Risks
Sometimes, the risks we take are colossal!
Just for the sake of some extra-money;
Sometimes, the risk is inevitable;
You have to face the Bees, to get honey.
There is a risk in things, all that we do;
To what extent to take is the question;
A man could die in a water-pool too!
There're risks to progress for any nation.
A risk to soul, no one should ever take;
No mortal sin is worth its weight in joy;
If sugar's burnt, it turns useless the cake;
On seeing land, the Captain cries, ' Ahoy! '
One's risks should not outweigh the sequelae;
Regain soul's purity, don’t you delay.

Rules For Life
Rules for Life
Cooperate and reap greater rewards
Forgive the annoyance of others
Get along with the rich, the poor, the beautiful & the ugly
Give thanks to the almighty
Have few pals
Have high confidence in yourself
Help the neighbors
Indulge yourself occasionally
Keep a genuine smile
Keep cool under pressure
Lighten the atmosphere with humor
Maintain a youthful spirit
Pursue achievable goals
Respect the disadvantage aged
Share with others
Take calculated risks
Treasure every moment with your loved ones
Understand “Money isn't everything
this is rules for life...

do not blame me
as i also understand myself
passionate
but not ultimately crazy
on some
calculated risks and
tiptoe dances,
i have some compromises
to make
i dream of you and hug you
and make love with you
there in haze
and misty scenes
hot, torrid, and
elusive as a
eel
slimy feeling, brutish touches,
lips on fire, cinder hands,
i shall never tell you that i love you
because it will be a comedy of errors,
a circus, forget it,
there are strangers of the night
that settle for shadows,
the poems are useful in all these
there is a vent, air passes in there
the room gets freshened,
breathe, breathe, life exhales like a
smoke
live, and be happy like a fly on some
kind of dung....

It's How I Feel
Speaking plainly
It's not something you and I do…
Not really
Not when it matters
We talk about the weather
We discuss the benign events in our life
I hold back
So you hold back
There's a calculated way we have
That masks some very non-calculated feelings
Feelings that
EXIST
No matter how cool
No matter how calm
No matter how calculated
Our exteriors
How unattached our conversation
They manage to bubble to the surface
Demanding to make themselves known
In some very non-calculated moments
Moments where
You think of me
Or I of you
Where, it's not longer so easy to control
Where something has to be said
Just to be said
To
Me
To
YOU
I admit
I take a step in the direction of being transparent
Only to go back and cover it all up
Hide as much as I can
You were better at saying what you really felt
However I think my lack of reaction
Or circumstances
Have taught you to hide
I admit I miss the way things once were
When you were more willing to try
More open with what you were thinking
More willing to communicate
I know I didn't react
But it always made me smile
Sometimes I feel… you're trying to spare my feelings
Because, perhaps you know, I feel
Something
And, you've simply changed your mind
Sometimes
I wish we could just speak plainly
I wish we could just have an exchange
About
What's really on our minds
If I sit back and look at the patterns of me and you
If I look at all that you do to show me how you feel
Without the utterance of a word..
It makes my heart smile
And, I hope somewhere in our acquaintance
I've managed to illustrate the same
I hope there have been times
I too have made your realize
It's not just you
With
Feelings
