Whisky in Oval Glass

Oval glass
Like your waistline
Touches my fingers

Whisky in it
Pretty hard
Soften with
Swing ice cubes
Glitters with cold

Sipping by lips
Like your tits
Taste in love
Fuddled feelings
Slowly lie down

Your glance
Being an image in it
Concavely looks at
While filling up
With another ice cube

Desire reminds
Like talking your eyes
In a short time
Empty glass
Looks at me

In a moment
I stand up
And go for a cigarette.

September travel

September Travel

I’ve packed my suitcase ready to go to Norway in
September, extra jumpers, wooly socks and two
bottles of whisky; well, I’m only staying there for
four days, but there might be a war breaking out.

Booze is very expensive in Norway so I can’t go
into bars, but sit in a tiny hotel room drink good
whisky from a glass in the bathroom, the one used
to brush ones teeth in the morning.

I will be walking around in streets where no one
knows me, there will be rain and I have no umbrella,
and I will end up in one of those expensive bars,
just standing there drinking and talking to no one.

I have unpacked my suitcase, and opened one of
the bottles and sit in my favourite chair drinking
a drop, I will not be going back to Norway this year,
the dog is old and can’t be left alone in a kennel,

Perfect Ice Cube Recipe

A cup of cold branch water,
triple filtered, extra dry.
Bring it to a rolling boil-
in a moment you'll see why.
Pour it into ice cube trays
and place it in the freezer
This recipe is tried and true
obtained from an old geezer.

Wait two hours, then remove
the ice cubes from their tray.
Notice they are crystal clear,
never cloudy cracked or grey.
Place some in a six ounce glass
making sure that none are wasted
then add a single malt and sip
the best ice cubes ever tasted.

Water On Glass

Written by ricky & marty wilde
Cascading down
Theres a sound vaporising into vision
Its a sound in my head
That I feel and it shuts me in a prison
Say it wont last
Say it will pass
Always the sound in my brain
Can you hear it
Water on glass running down again
Water on glass that sound
Water on glass running round again
Help me, the sound of running waters
Coming down
Dancing away
Like the lights on a moving coloured river
Sounds in my head seem to run
And again I feel a shiver
Say it wont last
Pray it will pass
Always that sound in my brain
Can you hear it (can you hear it)
Water on glass running down again
Water on glass that sound
Water on glass running round again
Help me, the sound of running waters
Coming down
Water on glass running down again
Water on glass that sound
Water on glass running round again
Help me, the sound of running waters
Coming down

In Your Room

In your room
Where time stands still
Or moves at your will
Will you let the morning come soon
Or will you leave me lying here
In your favourite darkness
Your favourite half-light
Your favourite consciousness
Your favourite slave
In your room
Where souls disappear
Only you exist here
Will you lead me to your armchair
Or leave me lying here
Your favourite innocence
Your favourite prize
Your favourite smile
Your favourite slave
I'm hanging on your words
living on your breath
feeling with your skin
Will I always be here
In your room
Your burning eyes
Cause flames to arise
Will you let the fire die down soon
Or will I always be here
Your favourite passion
Your favourite game
Your favourite mirror
Your favourite slave
I'm hanging on your words
living on your breath
feeling with your skin
Will I always be here

Sundown

Your the pearl in the quicksand
You sink without a sound
Im the girl with the tiny hands
Planted underground
Your the dream, Im the dreamer
In the dream your still around
See the sun falling down
See the sun falling down
See the sun falling down
See the sun falling down
Your the bleach
When everything went black
The relief I found
Your the sliver of hope in my lap
Your soft, warm, round
See the sun falling down
See the sun falling down
See the sun falling down
See the sun falling down
Falling down
Falling down
Goodnite moon
Goodnite mush
Goodnite ladies saying hush!
Goodnite moon
Goodnite mush
Goodnite ladies saying hush!
See the sun falling down
See the sun falling down
See the sun falling down
See the sun falling down
See the sun falling down
See the sun falling down
See the sun falling down

Habits have no eye for merits

I cannot afford to buy whisky.
I am settled with country liqueur.
Used to it, I lost taste for whisky.
The whisky offered was put aside.

I cannot risk taking women to bed.
I am settled with masturbation.
Used to it, I lost taste for sex.
I have my mate masturbate for me.

A dance with Chopin

i hate it when they mangle your
bubbling notes at hotel lobby
cafe, and parks when you have to
give way to the staccatos of stilettos,
tinkering of glasses, chatterings and slurpings
of japanese on their steamy noodles
or two italian men loud about their just
concluded summer holidays
it is like drinking tea with a mix of whisky

you are finest at the break of dawn
as scintillating streams of sunshine
and piano notes work hand in hand
to tune up the day with a good allowance
of morning mist touching up your favourite
bed of roses the soft breeze lifting ever so wildly
the strands of hair over your forehead they
move like your fingers a maestro over the ivory bars
the music drives us wanting for more as the day
dawn crisp and clear to spill all its goodness
sparkling like metaphors of your riveting pieces

Breaking Glass

Someone told me youre never gonna win
Fools paradise is where Ive always been
So I told myself Ive got a heart of stone
Not that strong I said, cant do it all alone
Tell me your dreams and Ill tell you what they mean
Cos we live, we love, we learn
You cant touch me
You cant hold me
Loving me through your window panes
But I can reach you
I can see you
Trying to hide your love away
We can be breaking glass together
Someone told me, you gotta let it go
A little weakness is strength dont ya know
So I tell myself feelin left today
I wont lose to the pain of yesterday
Tell me your dreams and Ill tell you what they mean
Cos we live, we love, we learn
(cos we live, we love, we learn)
You cant touch me
You cant hold me
Loving me through your window panes
But I can reach you
I can see you
Trying to hide your love away
We can be breaking glass together
(together, together)
I love the sound of breaking glass
(I love the sound of breaking glass)
I love the sound of breaking glass
(I love the sound of breaking glass)
I love the sound of breaking glass
(I love the sound of breaking glass)
You cant touch me
You cant hold me
I can reach you
I can see you

Old Gray House

Weathered widows wet from rains,
cracks all around the glass and pains,
dryed like old skin,
worn as the paint is now thin,
the glass is musty with dust and stained,
so hard to look inside,
this old abode,
falling apart,
I once live here in this house,
now falling apart and old.

Th Drink That You Hand Me

the drink that you hand to me
shall take my mouth
watering to your
lips,
the drink that you give me
shall take all of me
to you
the drink shall take another drink
and another drink
from you
and i shall not be quenched
until i am drunk
of all of you
and then you take me
all of me
and then i shall be lost
all of me
lovingly to you

my body dissolving like ice cubes
to your glass
your spirit in mine
our bodies mixing as one
and then we both shall be drunk
so gently
so lovingly as though this glass
owns the night

A Musical Send Off

As the funeral came to a close
his favourite record was played out loud
All Right Now by Free was his song
I'm sure his feet were tapping under his shroud.
Which made me think about my ending
and what tune would I like to pick?
it would have to be something lively
one with a nice beat and a kick.
Highway to Hell by ACDC would be bad
as that could be really tempting fate
Spirit in the Sky by Norman Greenbaum
now that would sound awesome and great.
Classical music would be too sombre
and have me turning in my grave
Stairway to Heaven by Zeppelin is better
but please no Rap, Disco, or Rave.
Something by the Beatles would be nice
or Yesterday or maybe even Hey Jude,
but definetly not the track called Help!
and a sexy song would just sound rude,
In the end I'd probably stick with a hymn
and select my favourite Amazing Grace
because I'm sure it's the Lords favourite
as after all he wrote it for all the human race.

Glass War

Glass war, glass war, glass war, glass war, it's a glass war
Glass war, glass war, it's a glass war
Glass war, glass war
It's a glass war
Cause you can see right through the poisen
It's a glass war
Cause we all know the activeties
It's a glass war
Cause it's made of smoke and mirrors
It's a glass war
It's a glass war
It's a glass war
Cause only poor men are dyin in the
Gas war
Cause we know why it was started
It's an ass war
Cause the president's an asshole
It's an ass war
It's a glass war
It's a gas war
Cause the starters are all victims of the
Glass war
The slogan men were starters of the
Last war
Now the southern men are starters of the
Glass war
It's a Glass War
It's a Glass war
And the shards are gunna start another glass war
And the shards are gunna start another glass war
And the shards are gunna start another glass war
And the shards are gunna start another glass war
And the shards are gunna start another glass war
It's a glass war
It's a glass war

What A Beautiful Sound

beautiful sounds
that stir the heart
free awakening soul
lift flight sky spirit

sound of river running wide unified flowing
sound of creek running downhill leaping splashing
sound of stillness crisp haunting in still mountain morning
sound of wind timeless moving over through forest trees growing

sound of whispers retracting as first soft snow flutters falling
sound of soft rain tender kissing warm earth embraces water waiting
sound of rain heavy droplets embracing dancing love symphony greeting

sound of storm clouds fast running painting sky black spiraling
sound of thunder freedom singing vibrating through poet laughing
sound of morning awaking to gentle joy of my young daughters laughing

a beautiful sound is bliss joy of young daughters happiness laughing
a beautiful sound is healthy children fed soul wonder bliss laughing
a beautiful sound is our well fed children in joy mind song laughing
a beautiful sound is God smiling with me in child mind song laughing

Pushed It Over The End

Good lookin millys got a gun in her hand
But she dont know how to use it.
Sooner or later shell have to take a stand
And she aint about to lose it.
All the towns people gather around
Theyve come to see whats going down
Although no one hears a sound
Theres another poor man falling down.
Falling down, falling down.
Falling down, falling down.
On this lazy shore
Standing at the edge of you.
Could those dreams of yours be true
Or did you, did you, did you
Pushed it over the end?
How much time did you spend?
Pushed it over the end.
Good lookin millys into politics now
And things are looking much better
She keeps ten men in her garage
Knitting her fine sweaters.
At the end of a weary day
She feels hard and she looks hard.
Although no one hears a sound
Theres another poor man falling down.
Falling down, falling down.
Falling down, falling down.
I came back for more
And found you waiting at the door
And far inside your walls I called
Did you, did you, did you
Pushed it over the end?
How much time did you spend?
Pushed it over the end.
How much love did you spend?
Pushed it over the end.
