The Great Fires
Love is apart from all things.
Desire and excitement are nothing beside it.
It is not the body that finds love.
What leads us there is the body.
What is not love provokes it.
What is not love quenches it.
Love lays hold of everything we know.
The passions which are called love
also change everything to a newness
at first. Passion is clearly the path
but does not bring us to love.
It opens the castle of our spirit
so that we might find the love which is
a mystery hidden there.
Love is one of many great fires.
Passion is a fire made of many woods,
each of which gives off its special odor
so we can know the many kinds
that are not love. Passion is the paper
and twigs that kindle the flames
but cannot sustain them. Desire perishes
because it tries to be love.
Love is eaten away by appetite.
Love does not last, but it is different
from the passions that do not last.
Love lasts by not lasting.
Isaiah said each man walks in his own fire
for his sins. Love allows us to walk
in the sweet music of our particular heart.

MY BURNING DESIRE TO CREATE
So intense and so powerful
Like a furious burning fire
My desire to create is so powerful
So painful and so throbbing

My passion to create is so unshakeable

A passion found, is a passion to keep
A passion felt, is a passion to be kept

Poetry I have always felt,
There are many passions in
this world but none like this one, which you can
always return too when you feel lost or
feel you have something to say
I love thee yet, I love thee more
but with words I can express thee hence more
Sometimes life feels too complex to find the one with the same passion as you share,
Someone that understands you for you, not only the external you, but the inner you,
Someone that understands your thoughts and passions in life; pleasure is one thing but
Once that desire for pleasure with that person has been diminished,

The whole Commission Of Romance
is a stitch-up joint operation by
Senior members of The Love Police
Who have ganged up to make sure
This our romance does not proceed
Lift your head and see who has come in
Thus old Passion is their star witness
Passion cannot be trusted my lady
Passion is a criminal and the full
might of the law must be unleashed to
Bring steamy wild Passion under control
Such mild measures like priestly
Intervention vis-a-vis their surveillance
Are bound to bounce back and fail
They are not enough to catch Passion
And convict him and give him his just
Earned and deserved life sentence and
Of greater importance is to arrest
him and without the lengthy to and fro
Frothy fruitless arguments of the jurists
We must hence and apprehend Passion
And set him adrift in the sea to find

Without passion
I think and thought
i hoped and wished
i cried and mourned
i yelled and laughed
i screamed in excitement
then i realised it was passion.
Passion is strong
it is intense
it is a great feelin of emotion
love, hate, desire, enthusiasm, fondness, zeal, affection and ardor.
A man without passion is like a man without life.
Yes, i pride in myself, i have life because
i have passion,
i know love
i show affection
i know what it is to be fond of
i can give warmth
i am full of ardor.
Just when i was begining to be exalted by my feelings you came into my life,
i found you in my soul
then i knew what i claimed was passion, was nothing compared to what you gave me.
I came to realise that passion wasn't anything else but a woman.And not just any woman, it was you.
Then i remembered 'a man without passion is a man without life.Without you i'm incomplete, without passion i have no life
Now i can boast of passion of love of life.
Because i have you.

love, desire, passion, fire, is all the qualities that you seek
for this is what will make you complete.
the man will normally have the passion and desire
while the woman has the love and the fire.
his desires could light a stack of timber
and leave your body totally limber.

If you want something, you’ve got to believe you can have it, and take a stand;
