Would You Let Me Cry
My pride would u let me cry
as these torrors and pain hunted me,
as my heart in love is denaide
and as those I seek comfart to grow cold
my own pride would u let me cry
as I'm lost and can't find my way
as my brothers and sisters in the blink of an eye
are out to be throughed in graves
and as ignorence and hate want to be a part of my life.
would I be wrong if I cry?
as my heart left out in cold,
as my shoulders are too small for
the burdens of pain I wear every day
and as this fast changing world mazed me.
my own pride would u let me cry
as these tears burned my eyes
as these hate stabs my heart
and as my prayer to GOD seem to be ignored
my own pride would u let me cry?

The Pride That Comes After
It knows it all, it knows it all,
The world of groans and laughter,
It sneers of pride before a fall,
But the bitter pride comes after:
So leave me and I’ll seek you not,
So seek me and you’ll find me—
But till I know your hand-grip’s true
I’ll stand with hands behind me.
It knows it all, it knows it all,
The world of lies and sorrow—
It prates of pride before a fall,
And of the humble morrow;
But shame and blame are but a name,
Oh, heart that’s hurt past curing!
We’ll drink to-night the sinner’s pride,
The pride that’s most enduring.
They know it all, they know it all,
The curs that pass the sentence.
They preach of pride before a fall
And bitter black repentance:
So leave me when my star is set,
I’ll glory that you leave me,
While one has pride to love me yet
There’s nought on earth shall grieve me.

Where Is Your Faith?
I feel you drifting
Away from your dream
Something is missing
In the glow your eyes seen
I find you staring
Somewhere out the scene
Though I’m right beside you
You don’t notice me
So where is your faith?
Does it fade?
Under the shadow, cold and dark
You lost the path
So where is your heart?
Do you still have?
Chasing by regret, guilt and pride
You run your feet
I see you struggling
The cruel world facing
Sacrifice anything
Common is lying
You say it’s nothing
Only weakness showing
What happens to your soul?
What have you been?
So where is your faith?
Does it fade?
Under the shadow, cold and dark
You lost the path
So where is your heart?
Do you still have?
Chasing by regret, guilt and pride
You run your feet
I hear you crying
Inside your heart’s pain
It seems the time has stopped
The night rain approached
Even it’s hard to think
Even loneliness stings
Just don’t give up, my love
You still have me
So where is your faith?
Does it fade?
Under the shadow, cold and dark
You lost the path
So where is your heart?
Do you still have?
Chasing by regret, guilt and pride
You run your feet

Mourning Pride
If just I could run away from you
Years, days, minutes all became the same
Since The day that we have met
The colors of the life are lost and tired in my mind
Nothng stood there the same
People colors and the friends
Everything and everyone I forgot
Mourning, for my pride nothimg can please my mind
Wounded my heart will cry
Forever the flame will stay
There where you and I oneday were
Lovers the promises of love will remain
Every while and while to give pain
Bleeding the heart and the pride
No peace again I will find
Till the day that I will die.

991. Give Me The Pride Of Being Your Child.
You bestow
Some people with pride of having best parents.
Some with pride of inheriting immense wealth.
Some with pride of being born in high caste.
Some with pride of possessing an extraordinary talent.
Some with pride of controlling a great mass.
.....
For me, You denied all these.
I too don’t regret.
In fact, I thank You
For not having added all these
To my already taxing ego.
But, don’t deny Your uplifting love.
Give me only one pride.
The pride of being Your child!

Foolish Pride
There are times, we have what's called,
foolish pride and then there comes a time,
when we should cast it aside! Having too
much pride, can stand in your way and in
many a case, it just doesn't pay! You have
to know, when to say, enough, is enough,
why wait, until it's worse and the going, gets
rough? In some instances, it's okay to have
a little pride, be aware, when it gets out of
control, as too much of anything, can make
you, a lost soul! Don't let pride, stand in your
way, if you want to get someone's attention,
do it, in the proper manor and you won't have
any, intervention. So there you have it, you
know what too much pride, can do, try to
be cognizant, of what is, the best for you!

Lion's Pride
The Lion, He sits upon the mountain.
Watching over the pride, which is His joy.
Emotionless.
He shows no fear.
With Him, a calmness and peace.
He struts with confidence.
As he approaches the pride,
No one will challenge Him.
He is Alpha.
The true leader.
Both Trusting and trusted.
When confronted, it is not His pride He protects.
To protect His pride is foolish.
He knows He is Alpha
It is the pride,
The pride is for Him to sacrifice for.
The Lioness respects him
He is the head of the pride.
He loves Her and for the pride would lay down His life.
It is His cross to bear.
For it was the role, He was born to play.
As the Lion leads the pride,
A man should lead His pride & joy.
Whatever pride He protects,
Determines if He is Alpha.

Born with Pride
Born with pride
When she was born,
She never cried
Born with dreams
Pretty eyes open wide
Born without tears
No lies to seek or hide
Born without fears,
On her beautiful little mind
Born to live
to love to give
To suffer to loose
Everything
Born with pride
Died in vain
Agony and pain
Hurt and shame
The lady had died
Her baby was born
With no pride
And with nothing
On his side

My pride
It began when i was a little foetus
Striving for perfection even though
I'm not, the pride was sent
Down to me not by my parents
But my forefathers the royal
Barolong who fought for my
Survival but not my revelation
Of a pride so humble yet poised
This pride provides for me, speaks
For me and it obliviates those
Who underestimate it as it is
Possessed by me and me only
This pride is my pride and my
Pride is my culture

Im so lost without You
All I see is continous darkness,
As though light was you,
What am I without you,
You left me hanging,
Yes when I needed you most,
I was so wrong to let go,
Yet so right to understand
Im thinking of you honey,
Nothing can be done I know,
Today is blameless for this,
Neither is yesterday,
I carry the pain of my wrongs,
The hugs are fading on and on,
The kisses becoming meaningless
Im so lost without you
My pride wont let me cry before you,
But alone I shed the tears my love,
Im so lost without you,
You broke my heart into tiny particles,
With those pieces I love you the same,
I look at the doors you left open,
Hoping in my heart,
Your foot might step again,
Im so lost without you
Im tormented and torn apart,
Tortured and broken into pieces,
The hours i wanted you more,
The days i needed you the most,
The same moment you walked away,
Im so lost without you
Find me again my lost hope,
Love me again my lost love

Long On Lonely
(bob mcdill/dickie lee/bucky jones)
I'll bet that you're surpised to see me
Wonder what i'm doing at your door
But you can't be more surprised than i am
I thought i didn't need you anymore
Thought there was something waiting out there
Something i wanted but now it's so clear
Baby it's a cold, cold world
Out here tonight
It's nothing at all like i thought i'd find
So if you wonder why i'm standing here
I'm a little long on lonely, a little short on pride
If you slam the door, i wouldn't blame you
You've got every reason to turn me down
I was so sure i had the answers
After what i've been through, i'm not sure now
I won't say i love you, don't know if it's true
I will say i need you, god knows i do
Baby it's a cold, cold world
Out here tonight
It's nothing at all like i thought i'd find
So if you wonder why i'm standing here
I'm a little long on lonely, a little short on pride
I'm a little long on lonely, a little short on pride

Sonnet: The Man of Pride
O man of pride, do come down from your heights!
’Tis lonely sitting in a chair like that;
The dizziness could cause you sleepless nights;
Please condescend, come down to us to chat.
Pride kills a man before he truly dies;
Pride poisons minds in stealthily a style;
Pride generates in men just ‘pseudo-highs’,
And makes a man unfit to walk life’s mile.
Remember, all are human beings first;
Well treat others in humane ways, you can;
The heart of pride would like a dam-old, burst
The man with pride cannot be content, man!
Pride steals the energy to guide others,
And only serves to torment all brothers.

Love As It Is Poem
Love as it is
Love is unpredictable Love is uncontainable
Love is reliable Love is infallible
Love can knock you right down to your knees
But when it does you get right back up and say come and take pride with me
Love can be hard at a point of no return love can be easy when you learn
You make mistakes and guys play with your heart, they fool you around
I can’t take the pain when all they’re doing is playing the game.
Love is changeless love is immortal love is hard love is where you can struggle
Love can hurt and love can heal love is where you start to shed a tear.
I love the smell of your hot toxic skin I love the smile on your face no grins
I love the way your dimples rise I love the way you take my hand with pride
Love can be company and love can be uncomfortable though love can’t see you
You can find love.

Pride and Prejudice
Elizabeth, I fell in love with you,
Without seeing you in person.
Without being born in your days,
With a figure that I carved of you,
Out of manners written in words
By Jane Austin in Pride and Prejudice.
I have cut such a figure of you in my
thought.
Like of which no heroine could match
If she were to enact you in a play.
You are the epitome of pride,
The pride without vanity,
The pride without humility either;
The pride with a royal aura
Without any royal blood.
You have had such pride as forbade
You even to reveal your love
To one you were deeply in love with,
And to one who condescended to love
Till he himself laboured to spell.
Elizabeth, I fell in love with you
For your pride, poise and composure.

By your side
I stand watching you throw away your life
you are wearing a wedding ring
yet you have lost your wife
because you look around the room
and you cant find your pride
I stand by your side.
What do you have?
you say you have nothing
but you cant see what you have lost
and you say you will stop
but the drink is all you have got
you look around
and you cant find your pride
I stand by your side.
Your face is cut from a drunken fight
and every morning is a drunken night
the poison you persist must take your sight
leaving you with not one brain cell left
the alcohol has gone to your head
a park bench has become your bed.
I stand by your side unlike your health
but I cant help unless you help yourself
what do you have? Look.
See you cant find your pride.
Understand I cant stand by your side.

Pride Cometh Before the Fall
Humility was discussing Pride with Heart:
Heart had decided Pride was a great asset.
Discretion chimed in with a hearty disagreement,
“You roll in the pit with this swine! ”
Humility was being denied his rightful place.
Prudence, the brother of Discretion,
Had been outlawed throughout the land
As soon as Pride convinced Heart
That it was he who should take Prudence’s place.
Mistrust had been bound and gagged while he attempted to speak his piece
But Ignorance was allowed to stay.
Knowledge and Experience tried to warn Heart
But he could not see as Pride blocked his view,
Keeping Heart’s attention for his plan.
Now there was only one thing left to do.
Superstition was led to the far reaches of the dwelling
All the while crying out the time old saying,
“Pride cometh before the fall, ” but no one could hear it.
“Ah, ” Pride sighed with relief, “peace and quiet at last! ”
Unbeknownst, there was a rebellious force rising
To defeat that pig called Pride.
He was being a hog with Heart.
A plan was laid and put into play.
There was a knock on Heart’s door and Pride,
Thinking he’d rid this dwelling of rebels,
Gladly offered the guest to enter.
Only, his friend Ignorance was not at this door, no,
Love entered. Pride sprang to his feet,
“You? ! ? What are you doing here? ! ? ”
“I would like a meeting with Heart, if you’d be so kind.”
Heart, having just spoken with Sincere and Individual,
Decided for himself to let Love have his desired appointment.
Heart had a long stay with Love and
With much dismay, Pride knew he had been beaten.
For as the saying goes, “Love conquers all! ”
And now we know: Pride surely cometh before the fall...
Just no one ever mentioned it was the fall into Love.

Trust
To trust someone
To be trustable one
To love without doubts
To beloved
without whys
Do not forget my friend
Every relationship in our life Is based on trust and faith
You can't love and beloved
If the trust between you is lost
So keep this advice in mind
Be aware my friend
To not betrrayed Someone's trust that can hurt your pride
I want you to always feel proud
Once the trust is lost Nothing could help you in vain
To gain back again
The lost trust to gain
Between two hearts the flame
Of love so soon turns to ashes and pain
Respect of love gets lost
The meaning of love when foist
Only the bad memories stay
They always remain the pain
There in the minds will be left
Those painful memories and the woundful honesty and the trust
With every mention of love
They always bleed in hearts
While the love is lost
Nothing else is left
Just bitter memory of love
Filled with hate and blame
When the pride of love
Will forever cry Alone in the flame of the self blame

Back In Pain
Fight for the right thing
Fight for yourself-no one should run your life
Believe in you- its just the best to do
Before youre giving up
Stay put and give yourself a chance to grow
Get tough and rough- defend yourself on time
Get coming back for more
You gotta push it through
Youre gonna make the truth come true
Back in pain- freedom is not free
Back in pain- freedom is not free
You see yourself so busy
Doing things people always telling you to do
No matter what- always on your own
Fight just for the right thing
Go all the way and never ever change it
Get coming back for more
You gotta push it through
Youre gonna make the truth come true
Back in pain- I wanna see your pride
Back in pain- freedom is not free
Back in pain- youre gonna win this fight
Back in pain- freedom is not free, yeah
Oh yeah, you cant do it on your own
I tell ya nothing, nothing new
You gotta see yourself as what you are
Blinded by light and lost- lost in the dark
Back in pain- I wanna see your pride
Back in pain- freedom is not free
Back in pain- youre gonna win this fight
Back in pain- freedom is not free, yeah
Back in pain- I wanna see your pride
Back in pain
