Worm Food
Dad once took me fishing
When I was a happy boy
And taught me how to hook a worm
plunge my fingers into a gooey cup
Where the little things squirmed
In dirt and pluck out a juicy one,
Hold its length toward the hook
And just, go ahead, push,
like putting my arm
Through a coat sleeve.
We all die one day, he said.
Don’t you worry.

First Do No Harm
As she impaled the worm on the
hook she said fishing gave her peace
... as she ripped out their eyes

Why not fish without a hook
without a net

Fishing With Daddy
One day I walked with Daddy
Down by a little brook.
There he placed a big red worm
Upon my fishing hook.
We sat together 'neath a tree
And did some fishing there.
Daddy told me wondrous stories
Of hunting elk and bear.
He talked of when he was a boy -
Of roads and tunnels he would build.
How he would dream his day away
As he worked in the cotton field.
He spoke of foreign lands he'd seen -
How big ships come and go.
Of giant derricks, gushing oil,
And making angels in the snow.
He talked of Mom, his only love; How proud he was of me.
Of our country - as it was -so rich and wild and free.
When the sun was setting across the little brook,
We started homeward, hand in hand, with a worm still on my hook.

Let Me Be A Fool
You take the crown,
I'll zip my lips,
I SWEAR.....
zip, zip, zip....zip my lips
lip, lip, lip...oops,,, zips no lip
oh! I can't even mug up
I was not permitted in to a school;
la..la..la.. look I AM A PROUD FOOL! !
I veiled my eyes with a black tape
I resist as I hate to ape.
You scolded me and she gave me a scornful look
I won't complain as I am the bait of your hook.
hook, hook, hook,....hook my book
book, book, your hook, my book,,,,, ooops! !
I am not poor, let me make it clear
You be the King, but, LET ME BE A FOOL! !

Captain Hook
Captain Hook must remember
Not to scratch his toes.
Captain Hook must watch out
And never pick his nose.
Captain Hook must be gentle
When he shakes your hand.
Captain Hook must be careful
Openin' sardine cans
And playing tag and pouring tea
And turnin' pages of his book.
Lots of folks I'm glad I ain't--
But mostly Captain Hook!

Summer Time
THIS morning we go
fishing in the river
got this hook, line and sinker
nothing much for logic
rhythm and rhyme
just this worm as pawn
and the fading moon.

Superwoman
[hook:]
Why must I fit into your box
To make this relationship work
I am human not perfection
I cant be your superwoman
[verse 1:]
Please tell me what you wanna do
Cause I cant waste anymore time
It seems nothings good enough for you
Tryin please you drives me outta my mind
Who do you think Im supposed to be
This flawless thing is how you picture me
But I cant measure up to that and I wont try
Cause I only can only be me baby
[hook]
[verse 2:]
You know I wanna be with you
But you ask for what I cant give
I wont compromise myself for you
For my own self I must live
All I can do is love you best I can
That dont include changing who I am
And I now that I love you good so dont you think
That you should try to hold onto me
[hook]
[bridge:]
There is only one me
Dont paint an image of what you want me to be
Thats not what we need
I wont be trapped into what your eyes want to see
[hook]

Fishing in the Wei River
In waters still as a burnished mirror's face,
In the depths of Wei, carp and grayling swim.
Idly I come with my bamboo fishing-rod
And hang my hook by the banks of Wei stream.
A gentle wind blows on my fishing-gear
Softly shaking my ten feet of line.
Though my body sits waiting for fish to come,
My heart has wandered to the Land of Nothingness.
Long ago a white-headed man
Also fished at the same river's side;
A hooker of men, not a hooker of fish,
At seventy years, he caught Wen Wang.
But I, when I come to cast my hook in the stream,
Have no thought either of fish or men.
Lacking the skill to capture either prey,
I can only bask in the autumn water's light.
When I tire of this, my fishing also stops;
I go to my home and drink my cup of wine.
Wishful Thinking
[Verse 1]
All I wanna do
Is wake up every morning and be happy and be care free
And all I wanna do
Is love my man and make sure my family is okay
And I wanna sing,
The songs that I write in my head
On a stage , in a big place
And I wanna laugh
Until tears fall down my face and my abs, are aching
[HOOK]
Is that too much to ask for, in my life, to have
Nothing but the sweetest days
Too much, for one, to have
Or is it wishful thinking
[Verse 2]
oh I wanna send
My little brother Solomon to college, with no problem
And how I hope
The children that I sponsor down in Chile
They get the money I send
And I wanna fly
To Paris once a year for a vacation
With my husband
And I hope
The nation stop fighting and find sweet peace, somewhere down deep
[HOOK]
[Bridge]
I want my soul to fly free
Without a single worry
Fear or anxiety
Could it be possible for all I wish to have

When I Go Fishing
when i go fishing
i am always reminded
of the fish in the pond
and the hook, line
and sinker
the bait is this worm
this shrimp
and objective is always
the fish
in there
one drinks so much silence
by the pond
i see the ripples
i see the shadows of fins
i drink so much silence
i fathom so much depth
i might have missed the elusive fish
losing my worm and my shrimp
what i bring home is this inner peace
and so i never mind the shadows of the fins

Every time I call her name shes right there by my side
Every time that I think its a change
Theres no place left to hide
This must be for real
This must be for real
This must be for real
It cant be a dream
Every time I blow my love
Shes knockin on my back door
Every time that I tear her clothes
She pulls me down some more

It cant be a dream

Juicy, juicy, juicy, juicy lucy
Scary woman put me under, under her spell
Never tell, if I risk it I ____ her
There still standin, try to get my hand in
But she gets away________one stride
Every day she comes around
Lookin good and tryin to catch my eye
Aint no way to tell her no
I guess I never even thought to try
This must be for real
This must be for real
This must be for real
It cant be a dream
Juicy, juicy, juicy, juicy lucy
Juicy, juicy, juicy, juicy lucy
Juicy, juicy, juicy, juicy lucy
Juicy, juicy, juicy, juicy lucy
Every time I tie her down she wants to let me go
Every time I start to slide
Shes tellin me Im way to slow

You Said
Verse 1
It was you, it was me
It was love, it was real
We would touch, we would kiss
And wed love the way it feel
It was time spent together
Leaving all the world behind
And I thought it would last
But only time would tell, so I waited on time
Pre-Hook
How could you be so selfish
Never once did you compromise
And you wonder why Im trippin
Shake my head and close me eyes
How could you never listen
When I try to talk to you
And you knew something was missing
When Im running from the truth
Hook
Baby you said (You would never leave me)
Said you (Always be there for me)
I cant (Understand the reason)
Why you (Why you want to play me)
You said (You would never leave me)
Said you (Always be there for me)
I cant (Understand the reason)
Why you (Why you want to play me)
Verse 2
Remember when, we would chill
You would tell me how you feel
You wanted me, you needed me
The only one to ease your mind
I was caught by surprise
To hear you say you want to leave
But its cool if you gotta go
Then go ahead and leave, Im gonna be alright
Pre-Hook
Hook x2

You used to be in love and you used to be so good
You used to drive me so crazy
Now is the time when you were loving me like you should
Back in the day you were my baby
You used to be in love and you used to be so good
You used to drive me so crazy
Now is the time when you were loving me like you should
Back in the day you were my baby

Breathe On Me
(BREATHING)
It's so hot in here
Oh, It's so hot
And I need some air
And boy, don't stop
Cuz I'm halfway there
It's not complicated
We've just syncopated
We can read each other's minds
One love united
Two bodies synchronizin
Don't even need to touch me
Baby, just..
HOOK
Breathe on me
Yeah, oh baby just,
Breathe on me
We don't need to touch
Just..Breathe...Oh...Yeah
Oh, this is way beyond the physical

Don't make sense at all
Our imagination
Takin us to places
We have never been before

Baby, just..

Isaac Newton
Isaac Newton
For years he fished in the nearby lake,
but the fish would never take his bait.
So he baited his hook with crusty-bread,
but even that didn’t turn their head.
He changed the bait to a lump of cheese
and thought this would tempt and tease,
but alas no bites from dusk till dawn,
so he changed the bait to boiled corn.
With no success with boiled wheat
Newton would not accept defeat.
So he put a juicy worm upon the hook,
but even this got no second look.
He cast aside his tackle and thoughts of fish,
and became a mathematician and physicist.
One sunny morning beneath an apple tree
he sat reading a book of philosophy.
From the lake a fish leaped high above his head,
but an apple fell down and hit him instead.
He looked up for the fish and it fell onto his lap,
so he ate the apple and put the fish back.

Fanatic
[verse 1:]
When I wake up all I want is for him to take me away
To that incredible comfort zone inside that beautiful place
When I need to release tension so that I can feel brand new
Reach that height that only one in this whole world can take me to
[pre hook:]
All the time I want you baby,
All the time I need you honey,
All the time I gotta have you sugar,
Because Im addicted - oh yeah.
All the time I want you baby,
All the time I need you honey,
All the time I gotta have you sugar,
It belongs to me
[hook:]
Im fanatically, addicted see, the way that he be loving me
Its like a drug or some bad habbit
Since its mine, I got to have it
[repeat]
[verse 2:]
Oh it feels like, like Ive never had it right
Before this,
There was so much emotional pain, nothing positive to gain
But Im loved, full, and completely now
Not just a physical thang
But its something spiritual
[pre hook]
[hook]
[vamp:]
I just gotta have it, Im a fanatic [4x]

Mad Mariner
Mad Mariner rose in the city bus
That slowly on the road
In the crowded of city street
Heated the sleepy passengers
And was tired
Hook, hook, his fingers
Straight to the roof bus
Ran and ran again
He screams
On the city bus
How this could be happen
In the city bus
Apart From
Frighten passengers

Fishing, Joke On Love
Love is like fishing
It’s a kind of sport, try it and you'll see on what you’re missing
Once caught, it’s all hugs and kissing
And memories of when it happened, reminiscing
When that alarm goes of
And you’ve got one on the hook
There’s nothing that will stop
Or that will help from a book
You just got to lean back and hold onto your net
And hope that you are man enough to hope it don’t get away
Because if you do you will be filled with regret
And on that fishing lake you have to wait and stay
So keep your fish in our grasp
Don’t let it slip out of your clasp
Cause it can happen in a second so fast
So when you get that fish make that experience last
My First Fishing Trip
Went with dad to Port Isabel to learn to fish,
‘Cause to catch a fish I told him that I did wish.
So to Purdy’s Court fishing pier,
We went with all our fishing-gear.
Yes, that fishing trip with dad I’ll always cherish!
There we were, him giving me casting instruction,
Then he baited my hook with a live crustacean,
I cast out high in the sky.
To catch a big fish to fry,
But instead, caught a sea gull - as consolation!

Broremann The Fisherman
Broremann the Angler
On the pier where fishing vessels were tied up my brother
sat fishing all the while seagulls kept swooping and shrieking,
he blissfully ignored them. He had no hook at the end of his
line and when asked why he said, I don´t like to hurt the fish.
But crafty little Broremann was not as innocent as you may
think, he didn´t like fish, all those horrible tiny bones,
his mother had sent him down to the pier to try catch some
fish for lunch. He liked sausages with mashed potatoes and
stewed peas, now he could go home tell his mother fish didn´t
bite today, but made sure to put the hook on the line so his
mother could see he was really trying. An old fisherman gave
him two sardines wrapped in a newspaper, but wouldn´t you
know it the pair of sardines somehow slipped out of the paper
and made their way back to the sea.
