eye opened up the pretzel bag and much to my surprise
they grabbed me and began to pull me deep inside
eye lurched and jumped to no avail as munching then begun
the pretzels in my bag was eating me the fun had just began
they laughed and giggled and had so much fun
eye am not an ogre by any means
eye let the pretzels have their way
for they were just eating me
so when eye come up missing just find an old worn out pretzel bag
and then look deep inside

I've been into the habit of freezing white grapes and using them as a snack. Instead of eating peanuts or popcorn or something like that or pretzels, I just eat the white grapes.

Prison As Metaphor
The time was almost right
for the recitation of a poem
when the judge asked me
if I had anything to say before sentencing.
I wanted to say Yes – why the 'anything to say' ritual?
To make me squirm
before the varnished gavel comes down?
Oh, and why the gavel ritual?
But I said No.
I am guilty
so there is nothing else you need to know about me,
My crime, not me,
sits in a cell with green walls
When I arrived I would not lie down
Because that would make it my home
A voice on the radio says
“My life feels like prison.”
I want them to use a different metaphor.
One that doesn’t suck my life up
and turn it into a little diorama with plastic figurines
in aluminum foil chains

As if I could eat my way out of here

Hard To Swallow
We eat to live
We eat to grow
We eat to endulge ourselves,
In the greatness of food
We eat to provide comfort
We eat to be accepted
We eat as it is part,
Of our lives
Food comes in all different forms,

Or a christmas turkey the size of a horse

Small City Church
The door stood open and, not knowing why,
I left the clamour of the city street, ,
And sliped inside,
Cool silence came to greet me like a balm, as
Though it could edify my wrong.
But not the background of the passers-by.
And inside the little church show that

Not discreet.

A simple candle..

He's not smart, a C student
And that's after buying his way into school
Beady eyes, and he's kinda dyslexic
Can he read? No one's really quite sure
He signs stuff and he executes people
Maybe that's why, he doesn't have any friends
Cocaine and a little drunk driving
