Why I Love Music
Music is what makes you groove
It is what makes you move
Music can be good or bad
Depending on how you use it
Music can make you wanna fight
But it can also make you alright
Music is what keeps me going
It keeps flowing through me all the time
It keeps me alive on those few days where I feel I can no longer survive

Music For Your Soul
Music; Her caress.
Makes me feel comforted.
Music; Her love.
Makes me feel wanted.
Music; Her kiss.
Makes me feel stronger.
Music; Her drug.
Makes me feel further from life.
Music; Her own brand of alcohol.
Makes me feel drowned in comfort.
Music; Her gun.
Makes me feel my thoughts blasted out of my head.
Music; Her pain.
Makes me feel what others feel.
Music; Her ice cold.
Makes me feel as lonely as space.
Music; Her heat.
Makes me feel impassioned.
Music; Our connection.
Makes us feel as one.

All i got to my name.
All I got to my name,
Is my music
It's all i ever am
and all i will be
you can't take it away
it's all i got to my name
My music is my life
my music is my love
my music is my fire on a cold day
my music is my castle where i stay all the day
my music is home
where i feel safe
It's all I got to my name
don't you dare take it away
it's what makes me me and not you
My music is my best friend
my music is my nae
it's all I own that matters to me
My music is all i got to my name
no family
no friends
all i need is my music
I need nothing but my music
it's what I do all the day
all I can say
My music My music
all i got to my name...

Funky Music
Chorus:
(I like funky music)
(I like funky music)
(I like funky music)
(I like funky music)
Everybody get on the floor
We got the groove u feel in your soul
When ure good n funky, u can say u know
Dance 2 the funky music, come on
Chorus
If u aint got no partner u can use your hair
Shake it like a hooker, baby, I dont care
Whatever u do, u got 2 make the people stare
Dance 2 the funky music, yeah
Chorus
This beat I got is specially designed (specially designed)
2 make u lose your phone number 2 somebody fine
The nastier u get, the funkier we got
My claim 2 fame is scandal, baby, and I aint here 2 stop (ow!)
(I like funky music)
(I like funky music)
I didnt come 2 trample on what u think is cool
I just wanna hip u 2 a brand new groove
If u like your funky mellow, this aint 4 u
Dance 2 the funky music, shoo-bed-ooh!
Yeah (chorus)
Uh-huh (uh!)
Uh, uh, uh-huh
Uh, uh-huh
Uh, uh, uh-huh
Yo, the time has come once again 2 send
A dance groove that wont end
Dont pretend that your feet is tired
And grab my hand girlfriend
And move it, baby, move it
I know u can do it
Move it, baby, move it
I know u can do it, come on
I said come on
{repeat chorus in bg till end}
Now let me tell u somethin
Huh, lookin so good on the floor
Make me wanna get 2 know u better
And dancin all up next 2 u
Is a feeling I can feel 4ever
Being 2gether and doing whats clever
And been so hard 2 stop it, uh
I know no one could top it
Huh, yeah
This groove is funky
Huh, yeah
Yo n.p.g. c drop it!
Huh, say what?
Huh, huh, say what?
Say, say what? uh, uh, uh
Say, say, say what? huh, uh, uh, uh
Yo, enough respect goes 2 the artist and the n.p.g. crew
And the whole new york and uptown
And across the country massive
Big up yourselves cuz its comin at cha loud

Cruisin Music
(eric carmen)
Get up in the morning
Check out the weather
If it looks like sun
I get my things together
Throw some cutoffs on
Got my tank-top and tennies now
And head for the beach
Well Im drivin down the highway
Losin all my patience
Pushin all the buttons
Tryin to find a station
With a screamin jock
Turnin out my daily ration of
(cruisin music, sure good music)
To put the fun back in summertime
I need some cruisin music to make everything alright
Well Im flyin down the freeway
Floatin like a feather
Ive got my windows rolled down
In the hot summer weather
With my radio up loud
Nothing makes me feel better
Than some good rock n roll
(good good, good rock and roll)
Those suntanned girls
Are lookin outta sight
A beach-drenched chick
Would never get uptight
cause when the sun goes down
Well be dancin through the night and singin
(cruisin music, sure good music)
To put the pop back in summertime
I need some cruisin music to make everythin alright
Its time you heard some happy music
God knows this world could really use a little sunshine
So wont you make mine
(yeah)
You know I need some more of that
(cruisin music, sure good music)
To put the fun back in summertime
I need some cruisin music to make everything alright
(cruisin music, sure good music)
To put the fun back in summertime
I need some cruisin music to make everything alright

Music Is What Music Is
music made me
molded me to who i am
music modifies the way i think
its what i do its what i feel
how i think what i say
why i am here
i need to make music
its how i survive why i wake up
in the morning what makes my body move
it tells me
music made me

Music not easy to make it
But easy for you just to take it
Music gonna make you sweat

Music gonna make you jumping
Let the rhythm making you pumping
Music every day and night
Makes you happy and stop the fight
In your place
I'm back again to start this race

Music they only choice
So everybody lets make some noise
Music not easy to make it
But easy for you just to take it

Lost In The Music
the music you write
makes my mind soar
the music you write
makes me want to dance
the music you write
is like a lullaby
the music you write
makes my heart jump
the music you write
makes me want to hear it again
the music you write
is like a shooting star
the music you write
makes me fall in love with you
the music you write
is like a shower in a drought
the music you write
is like a dream that i don't want to wake up from
i get lost in the music you write

Music, My Life
Its music that wakes me up every morning
You can hear it even when people are mourning
Its music that makes everything great
By being everyone’s best mate
Its music that brings joy in our lives
With blues, pop and beautiful jives
Its music that makes us strive and run
In fights which are needed to be won
Its music that serves as a guiding light
Helping us cope in days of sorrow and plight
Its music that stands beside us
When we need someone to delight us
Its music that serves as an inspiration
Supporting us always without a reason
Its music that goes best with food and wine
And undoubtedly it is considered divine
Its music that makes us progress
As we finish every task with success
Its music that will combat all our fears
As it is a Goddess for our ears

I Wanted the Music of Another World
I wanted the music of another world
The music that makes me know how to dream -
But there is no music in me now
And I cannot begin to know how to feel it-
Music is the soul and Music is memory -
Music is love crying out within me as creation-
I need music for there to be Poetry
But the Music I have now hobbles within me
And the Poem that comes is far from a dream.

I Was Born Of Music
I was born of music, with rhythm in my blood.
My tunes are alive, and move like a rivers flood.
I walk down the long path of quivering notes,
And I make music out of legendary quotes.
Music is in my soul, I was born of its power,
It's with me every second, every minute and hour.
It is as if I was created in Cohen's Tower of song
And I feel that if that's so, it's not so wrong.
When I breathe the air that fulfills my life's dreams
What comes out is not all what it truly seems,
I exhale the music from my heart and soul,
And that is what makes my life feel very whole.
I am a river of music that flows through time
I am your love song, your rhythm and your rhyme.
I provide you comfort in your true time of need.
I am the lyrics of all life, for you all to read.
I was born of music, of this I am sure of,
Music, it consumes me, it's my only true love
Put your ear to the ground and listen to the earth
And you will hear and feel where music was birthed
Piano keys of white and black, guitar strings so thin
Drums ready to set the beat, a singer with a grin.
These are all friends of mine, that make my music bright,
These are all friends of mind that make my so life right.
REB (MARCH 2012) God Bless the music of the world, and those that make it.

Dont Stop The Music
On the street, in the park on the floor anywhere you are
Something fresh, something wild, take it up like a shooting star
Cause I never found anyone like you
And you are the beat in my heart
Come on take my higher
Dont stop the music
We can make beautiful music
Dont fight the feeling
Now that were falling in love
Take a trip to the stars, make a wish, rocket to the moon,
There you are between venus and mars, now youre in the groove
Cause I see the passion thats in your eyes
And you lift me up to the sky
Come on take me higher
Dont stop the music
We can make beautiful music
Dont fight the feeling
When the feelings good, when the feelings right
Dont stop the music
We can make beautiful music
Dont fight the feeling
Now that were falling in love
Dont stop the music baby
Let the rhythm drive you crazy
Dont fight the feeling baby
In your heart, in your heart, in your heart
Dont stop the music
We can make beautiful music
Dont fight the feeling
When the feelings good, when the feelings right
Dont stop the music
We can make beautiful music
Dont fight the feeling
When the feeling is good, when the feeling is strong

Add Some Music
The sunday mornin' gospel goes good with the soul
There's blues, folk, and country, and rock like a rollin' stone
The world could come together as one
If everybody under the sun
Add some music to your day
(Add some music add some add some music to your day)
A bob didit a bop didit
You'll hear it while you're walkin' by a neighbor's home
You'll hear it faintly in the distance when you're on the phone
You're sittin' in a dentist's chair
And they've got music for you there
To add some music
(Add some music add some add some music to your)
To your day
A bob didit a bop didit
Add some music music everywhere (add some music)
Add some add some add some add some music (add some music)
Your doctor knows it keeps you calm
Your preacher adds it to his psalms
So add some music
(Add some music add some add some music to your)
To your day
Music
(Add some music add some music)
When you're alone
(Add some music add some music)
Is like a companion
(Add some music add some music)
For your lonely soul
Oo oo oo woo oo woo oo oo oo oooo
When day is over (when day is over)
I close my tired eyes (I close my tired)
Music is in my soul
At a movie you can feel it touching your heart
And on every day of the summertime
You'll hear children chasing ice cream carts
They'll play it on your wedding day
There must be 'bout a million ways
To add some music
(Add some music add some add some music to your)
To your day
Add some music to your day
Add some music to your day
Add some music to your day
Add some music to your day
Add some music to your day

What is music?
What is music?
Music is the rhythm of the soul
Every beat, every tone, every melody
Is in sync with the natural vibe of your body
What is music?
Music is an outlet, from the everyday
It can take away the pain you feel
Or add to the excitement of a new day
What is music?
Music is something that never changes, just Evolves
Music brings people together of all ages
No matter what you believe in, music brings Common ground
What is music?
Music is my name
Music is who I am
Music is my life
Music is something that can’t be taken away
I will always and forever have MY music

Take Me
Come and dance with me, take me all the higher.
Put your arms around me, make me feel much righter.
Come and love with me, we can move real slow to the music.
Come make love with me ...
Oh ...
Chorus
Come on, take me, take me, and make me feel your music.
Wanna get in deep when it tastes so sweet,
Wanna lose my head tonight.
Come on, take me, take me, make me feel your music.
Well we aint gonna stop if were feelin hot,
Gotta lose our heads tonight.
How many times I tried to make it happen?
But you always find a way to say good-night.
Tonight were here alone, your mamas out, theres nobody home,
Im a harmless kinda crazy so its alright.
Chorus
Ive seen you give me looks that Ive read about in books,
And I finally had to make you play your hand.
Theres a reason that youre here, and I think its perfectly clear.
But it dont take much to make me understand.
Come and dance with me, take me all the higher.
Put your arms around me, make me feel much righter.
Come and love with me, we can move real slow to the music.
Come make love with me, come make love, make love with me.
Oh ...

Music is our universe
As it speaks with universal verse
Music is the beat of the drum
As it makes friends with everyone
Music is life and life affecting
As it keeps us all connecting
Music is our global groove
As it hits us we all move
Music is a soulful feeling
As it plays we start healing
