When summer comes
When summer comes
I will dress in silk blouse and skirt
Wear my new high shoes
Collared with green pearls.
And yellow cotton summer blouse
that sway like the stems of the pin Oak.
In August’s honey-dewed winds
Dark, hot, the time is right
To change dresses.
The pearl one
Slides over my body
Like a silky desire
And when I dance tonight
At his wedding
The hot diamond strobe light
Will dance with me
Like the moonlight across my
Window in slow, white –diamond illuminated
In this season
Of red, red light
When summer comes

Lets Dance
Lets dance
Lets dance
Lets dance, put on your red shoes and dance the blues
Lets dance, to the song theyre playin on the radio
Lets sway, while colour lights up your face
Lets sway, sway through the crowd to an empty space
If you say run, Ill run with you
And if you say hide, well hide
Because my love for you
Would break my heart in two
If you should fall
Into my arms
And tremble like a flower
Lets dance
Lets dance
Lets dance, for fear your grace should fall
Lets dance, for fear tonight is all
Lets sway, you could look into my eyes
Lets sway, under the moonlight, this serious moonlight
And if you say run, Ill run with you
And if you say hide, well hide
Because my love for you
Would break my heart in two
If you should fall
Into my arms
And tremble like a flower

Slow Summer Dancin'
I'll set the stage while she's still dancing
I'll make the music soft and slow
Then i'll turn down the lights
Make things just right
For every slow song that we know
Over and over again
One summer night
(do do do)
We fell in love
One summer night
I held you tight
(one summer, one summer)
You and i
(one summer, one summer)
Under the moon for love
(ooo one summer, one summer)
We'll spin around this room together
I'll treat my angel really nice
We'll fall in love, we'll fall forever
Thank god for lazy summer nights
Over and over again
One summer night
(do do do)
(one summer, one summer)
I kissed your lips
(one summer, one summer)
One summer night
(one summer, one summer)
I held you close
(one summer, one summer)

The Dancing Bumble Bee / Bumble Boogie
The Dancing Bumble Bee/
Bumble Bee Boogie
And when the hot winds blow tonight
The dancing bumble bee takes flight
And all the flowers in the field
Prepare their nectar soon to yield
Dance
Dance
Fly
Fly
Behold the dancing bumble bee
And as they gather 'round to see
His rhythm burns like a raging fire
In passion by that sweet desire
Dance
Dance
Fly
Fly
Dance
Dance with me here tonight
I'll make you warm and right
I'll make you warm tonight
Come dance
He danced until the morning came
Until the music's last refrain
And though he knew it soon would end
He only lived to dance again
Dance
Dance
Fly
Dance
Dance with me here tonight
I'll make you warm and right
I'll make you warm tonight
Come dance

Oh Yeah
Oh Yeah she was taking me over
Oh Yeah it was the start of the summer
On warm June evenings
She would come to my house
Still in her school skirt
And her summer blouse
Talking too long as the night came on
It was the best time of my life
Her bee stung lips
Kisses sweeter than wine
The things she whispered
With breathless sighs
The summer air was soft and warm
Her eyes were making silent demands
As her hair came undone in my hands
Oh Yeah she was taking me over
Oh Yeah it was the start of the summer
Driving her home after midnight
I felt so good everything was alright
Her thoughts seemed so lost in the night sky
I remember everything
I don't know why these things ever send
I sometimes wish it was that summer again
I still see her in my sleep
And hear the sighing of the summer wind
Still I don't regret one thing
Oh Yeah she was taking me over
Oh Yeah it was the start of the summer
Oh Yeah she was taking me over
Oh Yeah it was the start of the summer
It felt just like it was the start of forever
Oh Yeah it was the start of the summer

What He Created
he created the sun to give of heat and light
witch gave it a season, and it; s called summer,
summer is the beast season out of 5 months
summer, summer the sun of my eye
the best time to spit my rhymes
down on this sheet and to go to sleep

Last Week of March
School was over,
student rest from hung over
summer is approaching,
sunlight glisten on
frozen asphalt,
I shiver an squint.
It's hot to walk at ease,
benevolence of nature
beams and glimmer,
flowers are deigning,
trees are undressing,
withered leaves are falling
they fling in many places,
on the road,
on the house top,
on the window sill
here and there,
beat by beat.
yellow trees lavishly blooming
like yellow ribbons
and yellow laces.
seasons of summer
fills the heart and soul
with laughter
hot summer will wind
the faves and feelings to unwind.
summer season,
warmest of all seasons.
summer holidays are
the times of our lives
summer, summer
what a season to remember!

a Birthday
It’s full moon tonight
and yellow like Citrine
some golden rays
decent down to me
and it’s forty-five years
since my full moon first broke
in the dark onyx night.
The morning sun is ruby red
till it turns shining diamond bright
in a sapphire blue sky
and too intense to look at
and it’s forty-five years
since the first time
that I saw light.
The years flash past
and in this summer of my life
I wish that perennial
could my summer be,
but autumn has already
laid its hands on me
and there are grey specs in my hair.

Summertime
Summer time and winter is gone
Summer time and I'm left all alone.
Summer time is so dam hot, so why don't it stop.
Red, yellow, green someone look at me with grief.
I think someone die, he was on wine or was it a
hooker that got caught with a John, or was it a white man.
That was shot by a black man. Oh it's so dam hot!
Here in the city in the summer time

Sweet Summer Lovin
Though the sun may be dawning
Youre the one that lights the morning
As I awake to the heaven
Of your sweet summer lovin
By a stream in the country
Running barefoot and feeling free
While the love in our hearts blend
Into sweet summer lovin
Sweet summer lovin in the dandelions
Sweet summer lovin keeps me high as candy wine
When that big red balloon sets
Like a painting across the west
As the sky turns a crimson blue
As the world turns for me and you
By the light of the moon glowing
While the warm summer wind blows
cross the sill of your window
Well be letting our love flow
Sweet summer lovin in the dandelions
Sweet summer lovin keeps me high as candy wine
Sweet summer lovin in the dandelions
Sweet summer lovin keeps me high as candy wine
Sweet summer lovin
Sweet summer lovin
Mmm...
Sweet summer lovin
Mmm...
Sweet summer lovin
I love your sweet summer lovin
Sweet summer lovin
Sweet summer lovin
Mmm...
Sweet summer lovin
Mmm...

Summer Turns To High
Mercury is rising still
Turn the fan on high
I wont step on my own shadow
No one wants to cry.
Someone put a pox on me
I spit in their eyes
Summer turns to high.
Lift my bed sheet keep in sandles
Circle search and there are candles
Summers here but night is raising hopes and dragonflies
If those hopes are overshadowed
Cotton-candy, caramel-wafer.
Summer turns to high
Summer turns to high
Summer turns to high
Summer high
After wine and nectarines the fireflies in turn
Move like syrup through the evening with the sweet resign
I wont fight for cant happen
Im preoccupied
Summer turns to high
Summer turns to high
Summer turns to high
Summer high.

We Wont Dance
We wont dance no more
We wont shine out on the floor
We wont sway the band wont play
We wont dance
I kid you not we were hot
When the weekend came wed dance non-stop
No jitterbug no substitute
No twist and turn no crasha nd burn
Could top us two
We wont dance no more
We wont shine out on the floor
We wont sway the band wont play
We wont dance
As I dipped you down in your yellow dress
Wed brush the floor in a slow caress
As minutes turned to a rising sun
Wed leave the day to rest
Our dancing done
We wont dance no more
We wont shine out on the floor
We wont sway the band wont play
We wont dance
If I were God and controlled what is
Id steal your shoes so you couldnt dance with his
Well Im not all that I could be
But youll never dance with him
The way you danced with me
We wont dance no more
We wont dance no more
Well Im not all that I could be
But youll never dance with him
The way you danced with me
We wont dance no more
We wont shine out on the floor
We wont sway the band wont play
We wont dance
We wont dance no more
We wont shine out on the floor
We wont sway the band wont play
We wont dance

The Life of a Flower
As the snow melts with upmost intensity
Out of the white field under the blues sky a green spot rises
The rise of a legacy of a summer, a legacy of blooms
The sun rises and white is no more
White once now is green, green signs of life
Life that will live for a summer time, summer that never ends
From green to yellow, yellow that perfects the view
View out of sight, so far away you can see the Earth curves
From yellow that blinds the eyes to cloudy skies
Now is time again, say good bye till summer comes back
From brown, the name of a legacy that lasted a life time
Brown surrenders to white, so smooth takes it by force
And Earth sleeps again under the white blanket
Forever and ever life lives and dies
Perfection is all.
The Growing Season
The seasons work together
To make the world possible
Summer, the sun season
Fall, the leaf season
Winter, the snow season
And spring, the time of beauty
Summer, the yellow season
Fall, the orange season
Winter, the white season
And spring, the time of the rainbow
Summer, the blank season
Fall, the shadow season
Winter, the dying season
And spring, the growing season
The growing season
Dance With Me Tonight
Let your hair sway in the rain, let rain drops fall to the ground in harmony.
Let us dance tonight
Let your feet sway, let your eyes close tight.
Let us dance tonight
Let your fears fade, let your clothes feel like silk.
Let us dance tonight
Let only our sweet breaths be heard in this serenity.
Let us dance tonight
Let our feet brush the ground with such elegance.
Let us dance tonight
Let us scream and shout, let us twirl in the night.
Dance with me tonight
Let us caress and cherish this moment for all eternity.
Let us dance tonight
Let the end feel good, let our fright fade…Let me be happy tonight.
Take my hand, dance with me tonight.

My Summer
my summer is boring
my summer is wake
my summer is harebell
my summer is stupid
my summer is in my sisters house
my summer is in a sweet 16 prates
my summer is in my cozens house
my summer is away from my house
my summer is just dome
my summer is boring
my summer is messing my men
my summer is the worst summer of my bf
i wish i was whet my men this summer
i wish i was happy in the summer.

this summer is just this summer: (

Ode to Karen and the Summer
June wore her green dress, long her favorite color
the color of her ancient Roman clan
Roman Green
June wore her green dress...as my finger traced a soft essay
upon your perfect back
June wore green
Karen wore blonde
and all around us was light
the solstice was the turning point- solstice curve
poignant as the course of the sun through our summer bodies
the season of the short-lived beings
dead through the dry folds of winter
to flood to life in green vigor
I'm green as a frog, green as any new bug rushing or Mayfly lingering
June's nephews, July and August, were lulled to boredom
by wine and soft days
and left us the blessing
to wallop and play in the gardens
Karen on a summer sidewalk
or a tv show
or a dream in the light
or green eyes

Summer Fever
Winds may come and the winds may flow
But theres no wind can cool me of my fever, summer fever
Summer fever
Time of love, time of year
Temperatures rising, our bodies near in fever, summer fever
Summer fever
A heat-wave run, a dog-day night
Were making love, things are right, its fever, summer fever
Summer fever
You burn so deep with your love so sweet
And you satisfy and mystify my fever, summer fever
Summer fever
Body to body, arms entwined
Locked in your love, feeling fine with fever, summer fever
Summer fever
Time of love, time of year
Temperatures rising, our bodies near in fever, summer fever
Summer fever
Winds may come and the winds may blow
But theres no wind can cool me of my fever, summer fever
Summer fever
You burn so deep with your love so sweet
And you satisfy and mystify my fever, summer fever
Summer fever
Fever, summer fever
Fever, summer fever

Dance Unto The Light
Dance unto the light,
Sway to the sounds of time,
Watch the angels bright,
As they dance within your mind.
Dance my friends and sway,
To beauty, to laughter, to love,
For this is the most perfect day,
A perfect gift from above!
Dance unto the light,
Catch the stars bright,
For perfect are the angels love,
From the One Most High above!
Dance, dance, dance
As the music plays on,
Dance, Dance, Dance,
As we listen to their song.
Dance unto the light,
Star light, star bright,
Watch as the baby is born,
On a most glorious morn?
Dance unto the light,
Catch the stars so bright,
Yes He died on a tree,
But He died for Victory!
dance unto the light,
We dance unto the night,
The song has been sung,
For He has finally won!
