When I shiver with cold.....
When I shiver with cold
a blanket Shiva does hold
in poverty he showers gold
my wishes from your mould
VICTORY OVER ENEMIES write bold

Spring
Shiver shiver in the cold
Who is that standing out there bold
Primrose, Bluebell,
Crocus and the rest
Daffodills number amung the best
Willows covered with soft fur
Budding trees to occur.
The time is near..
To put away
The coat....
And winter gear..
Tank top, Shorts, strapless wear
Flaunt if you dare
Prisoner of the inside
now no more
The fire has moved
For you to store
Letting your spirit dance all free
Now let it be..
Restore the body and the soul
Outside freedom now lets go..
Torrid rays of the sun
Saying it is done
Melting the adhesive hold
Luquifying the icy cold
Winters grip is no longer bold
Greenery and flowers
It will bring
Birds in the trees giving you their sing
Shiver shiver
In the past
Now you are laying on the grass....

The Shadow Inside My Shadow
poverty is not my cousin,
is not my lover,
is not my preacher,
poverty is not my brother.
poverty is not my prayer,
or the song that i sing
is not my answer
poverty is not my dream.
poverty is not my teacher,
not the hand that i hold.
poverty is not my anger,
not my spirit, not my soul.
ah! but this poverty is real
it races thru my mind
crashes into my heart,
& leaves me deaf and blind.
poverty is my companion.
the aching cold inside my hollow.
the blow behind my eyes,
poverty is the shadow
inside my shadow.

So You Feel Life Is Tough On You
So you feel life is tough on you just going by what you say
Yet I know of a woman in her late sixties who sleeps in a disused factory doorway
With one blanket to keep out the chill on the cold concrete she lay
If you had to live as she does you would complain night and day.
In a so called Land of plenty she is not one of a few
There are many ageing people not due to their own fault who
Due to high rents have become Homeless poverty is on the rise
In a World of greed and corruption this should come as no surprise.
You do not have to sleep in a disused factory doorway open to the cold and rain
And you've got a comfortable house to live in yet you find cause to complain
But like they say poverty is a relevant thing and you feel you are poor
Though to a Homeless person of the street you would seem financially secure.
If you feel life is tough on you come for a walk with me
And I will show you what 'tis like for to live in poverty
I will show you an old woman who sleeps in a disused factory doorway
With a single blanket for to cover her on the cold concrete she lay.

No Fault
Hold, told, bold, gold, cold, fold, sold;
They made a fire of coals for it was cold!
Coal, foal, goal;
I've found no fault in you!
But put your sword back in its own sheath.

Turn To Gold
SHINE!
I don't know why
all the fiction of your sleeping
doesn't visit you awake
I don't know how to get your storybook sunrise
to follow you above your cloudy day
all these gifts you left on you
with heaven painted on you
i wish this now with all my soul
may all your visions turn to gold
to have and hold
may all your visions turn to gold
may all your visions turn to gold
to have and hold
may all your visions turn to gold
terrified the world will never turn to look at you
and the sun won't see you shine
she'll resign for rose cooked blush just from your smiling
let the water form a cry
only better luck should greet you
the road should rise to meet you
i wish this now with all i know
may all your visions turn to gold
to have and hold
may all your visions turn to gold
may all your visions turn to gold
to have and hold
may all your visions turn to gold
loose inside your winter
feel the cold wind blowing
cutting through your head and through your ears
feel the fire growing
no more frozen danger
no more wrteched ice storm fear
may all your visions turn to gold
to have and hold
may all your visions turn to gold
may all your visions turn to gold
to have and hold
may all your visions turn to gold

Shiva's Sunset
"I've made many mistakes, dear Gods of old.
For this sunset is neither pretty nor plain
This sunset is Shiva; who's blaze grown bold
Threatens the sky with ash and dust, dark disdain."
"Alas Shiva is not my dearest Autumn,
Nor is this sunset my evening solemn."

I Am The King!
I am the king!
For, i've travelled around the world and,
Seen many things about this world.
Hold, bold, sold, cold, fold, gold, old;
I will hold on that train for you!
For, you're a lover in my town;
And, i will try to understand you for, you are poor.
Early in the morning,
Moving around with the experiences of this world!
And, with the feelings of the blues;
But, i will hold on the train for you! !
For, you want to be on board as well.

Cowards charge
Orders issued
Cowards charge
Only to withdraw
Brave charges
To capture in large
Quantity of ammunition
Both want to hold
Victory belongs to only bold
Victory is hailed
Cowards have failed

Cheery Year
January is too soon here
A damp and cold start to the year
February follows on
With snow and ice that’s seldom gone
March appears next in line
And down comes rain all the time
April showers now are due
Lasting the whole month through
May and showers still persist
Bringing frost and fog and mist
June gets hot, insanely so
Everyone’s red and aglow
July bring chills mixed with hot
You’re never sure just what you’ve got
August the sun is up and bold
But the wind still keeps it cold
September the drizzle and ice is back
Keeping up a relentless attack
October’s colder so I hide
With a hot drink and stay inside
November sees your breath in the air
And colds and sneezes everywhere
December’s cold but brings some cheer
Then bloody January’s here

Marvel of Marvels
MARVEL of marvels, if I myself shall behold
With mine own eyes my King in His city of gold;
Where the least of lambs is spotless white in the fold,
Where the least and last of saints in spotless white is stoled,
Where the dimmest head beyond a moon is aureoled.
O saints, my beloved, now mouldering to mould in the mould,
Shall I see you lift your heads, see your cerements unroll'd,
See with these very eyes? who now in darkness and cold
Tremble for the midnight cry, the rapture, the tale untold,--
The Bridegroom cometh, cometh, His Bride to enfold!
Cold it is, my beloved, since your funeral bell was toll'd:
Cold it is, O my King, how cold alone on the wold!

Warriors Of Faith
They search the desert plains
In the land of no return
To seek out the danger, time to burn
They are the rightous ones
Theyve come to claim this land
Like warriors under command
They fight for gold and glory
Proclaim the dead man's land
Into the dungeons they must go
To find the answers, left untold
Under the burning sun
In danger, eye to eye
They all now that someone must die
Into the well theyre falling
Past immortality
Led by temptation and devotion
Rendered deathless by the touch of the sword
Onwards victory, let us hear your battle cry
The enemies, will renounce or die
Hail the warriors of faith
Together they march through the fire
Forever theyre lost in this world
Onwards victory, let us hear your battle cry
The enemies, will renounce or die
Eternally, they will fall under the sign
Of victory, fighting all for one
Hail the the warriors of faith

A Lonley Girls Wishes
a lonley girl wishes for one thing,
and one thing only,
to end her life,
only one person can changer her mind,
her lover,
because a lonley girl wishes for,
someone who can love her without being told,
someone who is warm and not cold,
a lonley girl wishes to be treated like gold,
they want to be loved,
they want to be held,
a lonley girl wishes to be out of danger zones,
they want no more than to die or be loved,
i would know,
i am a lonley girl and these are my wishes.

Others, I Am Not the First
Others, I am not the first,
Have willed more mischief than they durst:
If in the breathless night I too
Shiver now, 'tis nothing new.
More than I, if truth were told,
Have stood and sweated hot and cold,
And through their reins in ice and fire
Fear contended with desire.
Agued once like me were they,
But I like them shall win my way
Lastly to the bed of mould
Where there's neither heat nor cold.
But from my grave across my brow
Plays no wind of healing now,
And fire and ice within me fight
Beneath the suffocating night.

In The Pines
In the pines, in the pines, where the sun never shines
And you shiver when the cold wind blows
My love, my love, what have I done
To make you treat me so
You've caused me to weep, you've caused me to mourn
You've caused me to leave my home
In the pines, in the pines, where the sun never shines
And you shiver when the cold wind blows
The longest train I ever saw
Went down that Georgia Line
The engine passed at six o'clock
The caboose went by at nine
In the pines, in the pines, where the sun never shines
And you shiver when the cold wind blows
I asked my captain for the time of day
He said he throwed his watch away
In the pines, in the pines, where the sun never shines
And you shiver when the cold wind blows
Hoo-hoo, hoo-hoo, hoo-hoo

Winter
Hold your hands to the blaze;
Winter is here
With the short cold days,
Bleak, keen and drear.
Was there ever a day
With hawthorn along the way
Where you wandered in mild mid-May
With your dear?
That was when you were young
And the world was gold;
Now all the songs are sung,
The tales all told.
You shiver now by the fire
Where the last red sparks expire;
Dead are delight and desire:
You are old.

Cycles
When Dave Priest died grave sexton told
to toll bell well for corpse stone cold -
from epiderm to earthworm’s feast
star studded sports sporadic yeast.
The moral reads: reeds brave, deeds bold,
berth bends to end which breaks birth's mould.
Mould broken, mould returned, at least
is he released from life once leased.
Though pitter-pat or thud, thud, thud,
warm blood turns into tainted mud,
must musty dust depart, heart ceased,
Time’s gavel knocks down man and beast.
As cycles spin, out's in's template,
who sees the light before dark fate?

When Dave died grave sexton was told
to toll the bell for one grown old, -
now he is young again, released
from epiderm to earthworm’s feast.
The moral is, however bold,
all bend to end which breaks the mould.
Mould broken, mould returned, as least
is he who highest life once leased.
So whether bid or oversold
warm blood soon rudderless and cold
must musty dust turn heart beat ceased,
Time’s gavel sells off man and beast.
Though cycles swift accelerate,
who sees the light before dark fate?
