We all think Alike (Free Flow)

A dog and a cat,
sat and looked at one another.
Both wondering what each
was thinking.

The dog thought that the cat,
was thinking of running away.
That was not true the cat thought
if he makes a move; ' I'll claw him '.

The cat thought that the dog,
was thinking of food.
Maybe that was because of the way
he was eyeing him up.

Either way there were both wrong,
the cat was looking over the dogs shoulder at a bird.
And the dog was wondering, if underneath that fur
was a bone to chew?

Please take note, it does not matter
what you look like.
To guess what one is thinking, is not so difficult
we all think alike.

Awareness is not the same as thought. It lies beyond thinking, although it makes no use of thinking, honoring it's value and it's power. Awareness is more like a vessel which can hold and contain our thinking, helping us to see and know our thought as thought rather than getting caught up in them as reality.

There was a time
When all I thought that I wanted
Was someone to touch me
Like I thought everyone was touched
What did I know, what was I thinking

Touching Numbers

I was sitting alone at home
thinking about you
wondering what the heck
you were up to.

Are you sitting there alone
thinking about me…
wondering if I was in
someone else's company?

Have you found someone new
to give your affection…
are you stroking each other's palms
considering a connection?

Are you snuggling up close
and kissing him
the same as you kissed me
on my neck and chin?

Is your breathing deep and heavy,
does your heart pound,
are you truly happy now
that I'm not around?

I really hope you're there
thinking about me,
looking at our photographs
on your phone's memory.

Touching numbers, about to call,
thinking of what to say.
Maybe, should we meet up
in our favourite café?

I suppose I'm just a fool

When I came home my stuff was on the lawn
I thought she was happy
But I was wrong
The note she left it took me be suprise
Said I'd turned into
Some other guy
The things she says that she gave up for me
she says it was a waste of her time
Guess I dont really know

But we kept sinkin' in
Things were so good

So many nights we didn't fight but never talked much
We just lost touch
I think we knew our dream come true was slowly dying

Now comes the time we must decide to go or stay
To get it back somehow or throw it all away

I met her just today
But I've seen her before

She told me her name
