Waiting For September
September I wait for you
you are the only month i need
you are the only one true
the only one that holds my peace
I wanna fall on your crisp leaves
and remember when I loved him
and smile and cry with joy
it was all so simple when i loved him
The smiles and laughter are here
haunting me with pain
Everything is lost I fear
until your autumn rain
I wanna smile for him and
hope he feels the same way
so if i run into him again
it'll be a pleasant day
since we ended our affair
with you our dear september
you are when it all began
and left the end to remember
A bittersweet 16 i turned
within your month of hellos and goodbyes
Some new things about love i learned
and new things about crisp blue skies
A seductful 17 I turn in the fall
as only you are by my side
waiting for the end of pain with september
I'm just along for the ride

September Changes
September is like no other
It's days change color and weather
No other month can say quite the same
For every day, I can feel the change
It's cool breezes start out warm,
Changing to cold throughout every storm
The leaves change and fall
As the Summer leaves and Autumn kisses us all
September maidens feel the change
Like the blue of the sky
Yet the color so deep
Unbelievable beauty
Maidens fall throughout and watch
Each raindropp changing through colors so fast
Yet one streak remains the same
Of that wonderful sapphire rain.
September, unlike any other
Holds you tight, in any weather.
Changes come, no matter where you go
North and you'll get stormy snow
South and feel the heat of summer coming
September does this, no matter what.
Change lives within, Nothing to stop
September is beautiful
And awesome all the same
It's hope for the future and the change
Comes swiftly as we sweep away
The Summer ends and the Autumn begins
Change is all around
With one maiden leaving
And yet, another comes
Born into the world
Of wonderful September
The sapphire skies live on
Through out this wonderful September

When September Arrives, Again
September arrives and Autumn begins.
The Summer then bows to Fall.
I use to think,
The leaves would cling on until Spring...
In New England.
September arrives,
And the sky loses brightness.
Winds start to whip...
Leaves off of trees.
I use to wonder,
Why I heard thundering...
As it rained to bring a change to things.
September seems erratic and dramatic.
Shifting as it does...
To prepare all for the Winter.
Children return to school,
As cool winds descend.
September has come back,
Again...
So quickly.
September arrives,
And Autumn begins.
The Summer then bows to Fall.
I use to think,
The leaves would cling on until Spring...
In New England.
I use to think,
The leaves would cling on until Spring...
When September arrived.
And Autumn began,
With winds again.
I use to think,
The leaves would cling on until Spring...
As Autumn began,
With winds again to begin.
When September arrived.
When September...
Arrived!
When September,
Arrives...
Again.

September
If there's a month to remember
it must be September
and remember it we do.
For the summer has baked all in its sight
and we are ready for the view
of cooler days
and apples to munch,
and cider to drink
along with our lunch
The days will grow shorter
and the nights will linger
and sweaters and scarves will be worn.
The moon in the sky will start to turn orange.
And we'll remember September in the morn.
Yes the month of September, the one we remember
makes me happy that I was born.

I'd like to die in September,
For die I eventually must,
When Connecticut's leaves, I remember,
Are beginning to turn into rust;
And Coronado's barrier island
Has battled her hurricanes all,
And our home was safe on the high land;
Yes, I'd like to go in the fall.
When the pecans are coming in season
By Chattahoochee's shore,
And these Islands, for God's love and reason,
Where the wind and the surf can both roar.
It's the month of my birth and my mother's,
It's the time I would joyfully go;
I can leave this old world to you others,
Free of pain, free of care, free of woe.
So, Dear God, if you're list'ning in Heaven,
One last blessing I ask of You now;
I thank You for all You have given,
And for all that I've left to endow.
Please let me die in September,
With blessings to all that I love,
And when this old body's an ember,
Let my soul be in Heaven above.

Do you remember the 21st night of september?
Love was changing the minds of pretenders
While chasing the clouds away
Our hearts were ringing
In the key that our souls were singing.
As we danced in the night,
Remember how the stars stole the night away
Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in september
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day
My thoughts are with you
Holding hands with your heart to see you
Only blue talk and love,
Remember how we knew love was here to stay
Now december found the love that we shared in september.
Only blue talk and love,
Remember the true love we share today
Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in september
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day
Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in september
Ba de ya - golden dreams were shiny days

When The Leaves Come Falling Down
I saw you standing with the wind and the rain in your face
And you were thinking bout the wisdom of the leaves and their grace
When the leaves come falling down
In september when the leaves, come falling down
And at night the moon is shining on a clear, cloudless sky
And when the evening shadows fall Ill be there by your side
When the leaves come falling down
In september when the leaves, come falling down
Follow me down, follow me down, follow me down
To the place beside the garden and the wall
Follow me down, follow me down
To the space before the twilight and the dawn
Oh, the last time I saw paris in the streets, in the rain
And as I walk along the boulevards with you, once again
And the leaves come falling down
In september, when the leaves come falling down
Follow me down, follow me down, follow me down
To the place between the garden and the wall
Follow me down, follow me down
To the space between the twilight and the dawn
And as Im looking at the colour of the leaves, in your hand
As were listening to chet baker on the beach, in the sand
When the leaves come falling down,
Woe in september, when the leaves come falling down
Oh when the leaves come falling down
Yeah in september when the leaves come falling down
When the leaves come falling down
In september, when the leaves come falling down
When the leaves come falling down in september, in the rain
When the leaves come falling down
When the leaves come falting down in september, in the rain
When the leaves come falling down

Come September
Her bones will ache
Her mouth will shake
And as the passion dies
Her magic heart will break
She'll fly to France
'Cause there's no chance
No hope for Cinderella
Come September
Her violet sky
Will need to cry
'Cause if it doesn't rain
Then everything will die
She needs to heal
She needs to feel
Something more than tender
Come September
Everything wrong
Gonna be all right
Come September
The souls that burn
Will twist and turn and
Find you in the dark
No matter where you run
But lost her spark
And what she's pushing for
She can't remember
Everything wrong
Gonna be all right
Come September
Her eyes surrender
Her cry a crying shame
Coming undone
Is she ever gonna
Feel the same
She will run
She's gona drink the sun
Shining just for you
Instead of everyone
And so it goes
She'll stand alone
And try no to remember
Come September
Everything wrong
Gonna be all right
Come September
She's made her mark

September In The Rain
1 2 2 toobidoo.
The leaves of brown
Came tumbling down,
Remember in september in the rain.
The sun went out
Just like a light,
Remember in september in the rain.
To every word
Of love i heard you whisper
The raindrops seems
To play a sweet refrain.
Thought it's spring,
To me it's still september,
Oh that september in the rain.
To every word
Of love i heard you whisper
The raindrops seems
To play a sweet refrain.
Thought it's spring,
To me it's still september,
Oh that september in the rain.
I said i said it's september in the rain.
Ah september in the rain.

Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning)
Where were you when the world stopped turnin' on that September day
Were you in the yard with your wife and children
Or workin' on some stage in L.A.
Did you stand there in shock at the sight of that black smoke
Risin' against that blue sky
Did you shout out in anger in fear for your neighbor
Or did you just sit down and cry
Did you weep for the children, they lost their dear loved ones
Or pray for the ones who don't know
Did you rejoice for the people who walked from the rubble
And sob for the ones left below
Did you burst out with pride for the red, white and blue
For the heroes who died just doin' what they do
Did you look up to Heaven for some kind of answer
And look at yourself and what really matters
I'm just a singer of simple songs
I'm not a real political man
I watch CNN but I'm not sure I can tell you
The difference in Iraq and Iran
But I know Jesus and I talk to God
And I remember this from when I was young
Faith, hope and love are some good things he gave us
And the greatest is love
Where were you when the world stopped turnin' on that September day
Teachin' a class full of innocent children
Or drivin' down some cold interstate
Did you feel guilty cause you're a survivor
In a crowded room did you feel alone
Did you call up your mother and tell her you loved her
Did you dust off that bible at home
Did you open your eyes and hoped it never happened
Close your eyes and not go to sleep
Did you notice the sunset the first time in ages
Speak to some stranger on the street
Did you lay down at night and think of tomorrow
Go out and buy you a gun
Did you turn off that violent old movie you're watchin'
And turn on "I Love Lucy" reruns
Did you go to a church and hold hands with some strangers
Or stand in line and give your own blood
Did you just stay home and cling tight to your family
Thank God you had somebody to love
I'm just a singer of simple songs
I'm not a real political man
I watch CNN but I'm not sure I can tell you
The difference in Iraq and Iran
But I know Jesus and I talk to God
And I remember this from when I was young
Faith, hope and love are some good things he gave us
And the greatest is love

But I know Jesus and I talk to God

Hate 2 Luv U
It was the wrong day
The wrong month
The wrong year
I wasnt ready for all the pain and all the tears
Baby you crushed me
Now I have to deal in the worst fears
You had to go and take it there
Now im all alone
Knew I should have took my ass home
Times when you were putting it on me
You were putting it on me
I just hate u for it
Hate u for making me fall in luv
And theres nothing I can do about it
So blue about
Dont wanna be in luv
I just hate u for it
Hate u for making me fall in luv
And theres nothing I can do about it
So blue about
Dont wanna be in luv
Thought I could change u
And turn u into a good man
Thought my love was bond
And things were going as I planned
But what a fool I was
U was still hitting your ex-girlfriend
I had to be out you understand
Now im all alone
Knew I should have took my ass home
Times when you were putting it on me
You were putting it on me
I just hate u for it
Hate u for making me fall in luv
And theres nothing I can do about it
So blue about
Dont wanna be in luv
I just hate u for it
Hate u for making me fall in luv
And theres nothing I can do about it
So blue about
Dont wanna be in luv
Wish that (wish that things were different)
Wish that things were different
(that you would love me the way that I love you) the way that I love you
(cant believe you hurt me babe) cant believe
(and do me this way)
(I hate to love you cant let go)
Now im all alone
Knew I should have took my ass home
Times when you were putting it on me
You were putting it on me
I just hate u for it
Hate u for making me fall in luv
And theres nothing I can do about it
So blue about
Dont wanna be in luv
I just hate u for it
Hate u for making me fall in luv
And theres nothing I can do about it
So blue about
Dont wanna be in luv
I just hate u for it
Hate u for making me fall in luv
And theres nothing I can do about it
So blue about
Dont wanna be in luv
I just hate u for it
fall in luv
do about it
So blue about
Dont wanna be in luv
I just hate u for it
Hate u for making me fall in luv
And theres nothing I can do about it
So blue about
Dont wanna be in luv

Do You Ever Remember…
Do you ever remember
that time one September
when two people met
and one could not forget
Do you ever remember
that time one November
when two people touched
and one could not trust
Do you ever remember
that time one December
when love said goodbye
and love didn't know why
And if you remember
do you ever just wonder
what would have happened to September
if it made through the cold of December
When I could have loved you
like I've never loved anyone
when I could have loved you
like I want to love someone
Do you ever remember?

On September 11,2001
On September 11,2001
Smothering black and gray smoke ascended to
The luminous blue sky
Engulfing it until it turned as black as night.
Young children are confused while thier parents cry noiselessly for loved ones.
Calling every person they know to make sure that they are alive and well.
On September 11,2001.
On September 11,2001,
Brave young men and women struggled to save our citizens.
The young. The old.
Those planes.
Those innocent men, women and children who died.
Whose lives were lost on that timid day because of terriosts.
WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER AND WE WILL NEVER FORGET! !
On September 11,2001.

One September Day
Years, they will come and go
Sometimes the tears will flow
Some of my memories will fade
But I'll always remember that one September day
I used to reminisce
'Cause I thought that love was bliss
How did they know it would go astray
It began and it ended on one September day
We met by chance
As people often do
But it blossomed, yes it blossomed
Into something I never knew
Now... It is in the past
They said it would never last
I'll not forget the moment back
Nor hot May or December
Nor June or November
But one September day

To Be With You
Oh, yeah
A shoulder to cry on
Someone to lean on
Someone to take you away
Someone to talk to
And somewhere to walk to
I need to remind you someway
Whenever you need me
I'll make the time
To be with you (be with you)
To be with you (be with you)
A night to remember
The rain in September
I want to share it with you
The month by the ocean
We swore our devotion
Making all our wishes come true, come true
Whenever you need me
I'll make the time
To be with you (be with you)
To be with you (be with you)
I want you to know
I've never before
Felt this way
No other words can say
I was lost just yesterday
Until I found you
Oh, yeah
Whenever you need me
I'll make the time
To be with you (be with you)
To be with you (be with you)
The night to remember
The rain in September
I want to share it with you
The month by the ocean
We swore our devotion
Making all our wishes come true, come true
Oh, oh, yeah
Oh, yeah
Ooh, ooh

Hailstone Food
My father loved the rain
Rain with hailstones
Twenty years gone past
When green and blue
Was all I knew
No red of blood
Nor ‘supreme’ of white
Nor ‘beauty’ of black
Just green and blue and love
It rained with hailstones
White stones from heaven
My father knelt down
On wet September grass
His head to the sky
Few stones in his hands
My father said
‘‘Thank you Lord for hailstone food! ”
I recall less of other days
When it didn’t rain
Perhaps such days were spent
Patiently waiting to say
“Thank you Lord for hailstone food! ”
Twenty years long wait
Four hearts waiting, breaking
My father waiting, breaking
Waiting! ?
But every body waited for him
I think my father never knew
About the power within him
To make the rain fall
Down once again
And hailstones to scatter
His September lawn
I know now
He was a patient man
Yesterday I dug a hole
And I closed a chapter
With all my childhood’s tears
I put my father in the ground
Funny this:
As the body went down
The clouds began collecting
As the sand filled the hole
The rain began to fall
And as we left the site
White stones scattered the land

Mr. Music Man
September breezes blow
Skies turn darkest grey.
Rivers overflow
And love is faraway.
What is he living for?
Life holds no joy within,
No child saying 'daddy'
No championship to win.
His debts are growing still,
He totalled up the score
And yesterday the bailiffs came
Knocking on his door.
Ah, but where there's music
And songs in bright array
Melodies fall upon his ear
And the day's a Holy day.
Recitals and Sonatas
'The Shadow of Your Smile'
Guitars that echo from afar
And he can smile for awhile.
September's back in style.

(Love) September Girl
All I want to breathe is your hair,
The mocha delight of the skin that you wear.
I want you to be the light on the dark side of me,
The sun rays upon my snow
And the blue jays that soar free.
The light that flickers in my iris is for you,
The smile curved on lips,
The blush on my cheek, that gentle hue
Is for no one but you.
I want the sonata of your voice
To lull me to sleep each night,
To the moonlit river to tomorrow, awakening to your celestial sight.
The September wind being as gentle as the kisses we share,
September skies that I will paint for you each year.
You are my lily pads in the reflection of the lake,
September waters from my moonlit river,
Dawning of a September wake.
My firelight circle of hope
Emanating in embers alit in the September rain.
My September carousel of white horses keeps turning,
All my soul within me burning
For you.
My sainted angel for whom angels give envy.
Flirt and flutter around my September moon.
I'm sick of the other months in this world,
So flirt and flutter to me soon,
My September girl.

I Can Remember
(eric carmen)
I can remember summer skies and your eyes
And in september when I first realized
That I needed you to be the other half of me
And my love long locked inside itself
Had finally been set free
I can remember autumn skies and goodbyes
Hurting so badly that I thought I would die
But the more things seem to change
The more they stay the same
And the lonely ones get lonelier
With every passing day
From the day we met I knew that
I should never let you get a hold on me
cause now you see I cant forget you
Oh i, I can remember mid summer skies
Love in your eyes
In the spring the sun will shine
And make the ice surrender
But it will not warm my heart
As long as I remember
Oh i, I can remember mid summer skies
Love in your eyes
And i, I will remember the times Ive cried
Since you said goodbye. I nearly died when you said
I, I cant let you down any more
So I guess this is goodbye
What, what did you do it for?
Every time I think of you and him together
I break down and cry
Oh i, I can remember the tears Ive cried
Since you said goodbye
I, I can remember the tears Ive cried
Since you said goodbye
I can remember
I can remember
I can remember

My Memory Of You
My Memory of You…
I can remember the first time we met, the way
Your smile just lit up my day
I can remember how you kept helping me up
When I was down
I remember everything about you,
Your hair, your eyes, and that smile
I can remember your piercing blue eyes…
That make me weak
I remember our first kiss, and the way
You were so nervous
I can remember how shy you
Used to be
I don’t have to remember how much I loved you
Because I still can’t live without you
I remember all the pain, hurt, and fear
You put in my heart and my head
I remember how much I wanted to embrace you in my
Arms and not let any thing hurt you
I somehow can remember all of this… but
I can’t remember why… why you tried
To take your life
I remember how scared I was that you
Would actually do it this time
I remember all those things
I remember you

A Time Management Plan....What really happens
September 3,2008, just 6 weeks left to wait
Mind was becoming queerer, as exams were approaching nearer
So books were taken out and chapters were listed
Notes were made, revised and gisted
But oh! it was just september,1 month still left to practice and remember
I thought, 'it won't be too late, if i start studying at a later date
So flushed with joy, ii made it clearer, will sit to study when exams approach nearer
So on the calendar, I slashed 11, and this queen was back to its heaven
September 11,2008,5 weeks left up straight
But this time, I gave plenty reasons to excuse, for not to study in exam blues
Friends always waiting to chat, gossip about
Plus my bro can't here the T.V. less loud
And then I've to practice for a competition
Mind is boggling with frustration
I annonced, 'No big deal, since I've plenty work to do
I'll start studying from 22
September 22,2008, hardly weekly left to anticipate
This time I did make a start, but things now
seem to fall apart
I planned to study all the time, everywhere
Roaming on th terrace, sitting on the chair
but no result came out in despair
Still 20 chaters left to revise, hundreds of notes unsummarised
In such great frustration, I began to loose concentration
Now all learnt forgotten, under heaps of hopes laden
When I was just about to disintegrate
I realised 'Now its too late...
Had I made an early start, I would have definitely made it upto the mark
So...
