Soulful and tender
Step by step
I drew its outline
With my aura
I made love today
As I spoke my inner-most thoughts
And listened to his

Father's Day.
These are three little rhymes made up in 1998 fror home made 'Father's Day' cards that the kids and I made for their dad.
I'm wishing for my father,
(Who ain't really that bad) ,
All he could ever want today,
So Happy Dad's day Dad.

Who watched me in bed cradle
and when life brought storm, made good use paddle
and fought with gods to make me live
with hope watered me tree even i hadn't leaf
who cried when i fell ill
and if i died pwore herself to kill
motivated her husband solomon of wise counsel
for she was in his song the damsel
what a creature with beauty and preety
as nature had her be dark and lovely

Live today not as yesterday, or as if there's no tomorow, but live today as today. She awoke early with a pep today
A glimmer in her eye and strong step today
She thought of a menu that would bring a smile today

today is present, though you don't mind
