Unanswered Whys In My Mind
Feeling like being carried away in wind
Grasping a dandelion clock instead of wing
Looking down at the people when drift
Drowning in their own lives dreams
Following the ambitions, mere greed's
Condoning all the partial prejudice
Missing needs for consolation treats
Disregarding facts to be discreet
Frittering time to tilt at the mills
Living in the world but like to be discrete
Calling aids with no return obsolete
Losing sense for the sound of hearts when break

I Want To Tell Him I'm Feeling Like That! (Heartache)
...I want to tell him I'm feeling like that!
'Cause he's my brother.
I want to tell him I'm feeling like that,
Anyday!
But the right words drift away.
I've got to tell him I'm feeling like that!
Since he's my brother.
I need to tell him I'm feeling like that...
'Cause he's my brother!
If I don't this just decays.
Oh oh...
If I don't more hearts will break!
Oh oh...
Because my brother has a lover,
I date!
Oh oh...
And 'maybe' heartaches will be saved?
Should I be brave...
Or continue being your discreet sex slave?
'WHAT? Excuse me...?
Run that back! '
From the beginning.
I've got to be missing something!
WHAT DID YOU SAY...?

Drowning
Everything is so complex
Everyday is like a test full of opsticals
That almost seem impossible
And I'm thinking just another breath not a minute left.
How long have I been drinking?
Pass the glass pint hit the flash light now break it.
People say I'm a star but I still think ill never make it.
And I'm thinking just another prayer not a second left.
I feel there's something missing
Sometimes I hate that chaos surrounds me when all the answers I see go around me.
Am I drowning?
Am I fading away?
OR am I living up to all your dreams that made me this way?
Am I drowning?
Am I drowning?
Am I drowning?
Am I drowning?
I've been to hell and back looking for the answers to life.
Looking at myself trying to get things right.
And I'm feeling just another breath not a minute left.
I feel the darkness lifting.
There was a time
That I questioned if Id ever be alright.
Running getting high staying trapped by sleepless nights.
And I'm thinking just another breath not a minute left.
I feel there's something missing.
I'm running from myself and all the things I don't like.
Living every night like it's the last night.
And I'm thinking just another prayer not a second left.
I need to stop resisting.
Sometimes I hate that chaos surrounds me when all the answers I see go around me.
Am I drowning?
Am I fading away?
OR am I living up to all your dreams that made me this way?
Am I drowning?
Am I drowning?
Am I drowning?
Am I drowning?

Art of Wind
Whether strong, whether sway
Whether irritating, whether couraging
Stormy nights or flash of breeze
Wind goes wherever blows
Whether naughty, whether chill
Whether sudden, whether still
In the leap of joy, in the darkest hour
Wind blows where we can’t follow
The heart pressure, the air emotion
The drift of change, the surging twist
The wing of song, the road of scent
Wind follows whatever goes
Can be seen but uncertain feeling
Can be caught but hard to hold
One breath to caress, one breath to break
Wind is the mischief actor
Flying dandelion, the match maker
Premonition whisperer, the thief of clothes
The kite runner, the chime player
Wind is the carefree rover

Drifting
drift like a leaf
carried by the flow of the river
drift like a feather
riding on the current of the wind
drift like a vagabond
on the alleys of the foreign land
drift like boat
without its rudder and engine
drift like a space craft
deep into the black hole of this universe
there is this feeling
of letting go and saying yes and not wanting to know.

Pastime Paradise
Theyve been spending most their lives
Living in a pastime paradise
Theyve been spending most their lives
Living in a pastime paradise
Theyve been wasting most their time
Glorifying days long gone behind
Theyve been wasting most their days
In remembrance of ignorance oldest praise
Tell me who of them will come to be
How many of them are you and me
Dissipation
Race relations
Consolation
Segregation
Dispensation
Isolation
Exploitation
Mutilation
Mutations
Miscreation
Confirmation...to the evils of the world
Theyve been spending most their lives
Living in a future paradise
Theyve been spending most their lives
Living in a future paradise
Theyve been looking in their minds
For the day that sorrows gone from time
They keep telling of the day
When the savior of love will come to stay
Tell me who of them will come to be
How many of them are you and me
Proclamation
Of race relations
Consolation
Integretion
Verification
Of revelations
Acclamation
World salvation
Vibrations
Stimulation
Confirmation...to the peace of the world
Theyve been spending most their lives
Living in a pastime paradise
Theyve been spending most their lives
Living in a pastime paradise
Theyve been spending most their lives
Living in a future paradise
Theyve been spending most their lives
Living in a future paradise
Weve been spending too much of our lives
Living in a pastime paradise
Lets start living our lives
Living for the future paradise
Praise to our lives
Living for the future paradise
Shame to anyones lives
Living in the pastime paradise

(V – 2010) The Winners of the Game
Pride & Prejudice
Makes one strong;
Sense & Sensibility
Seems going wrong.
Pride & Prejudice
Rushes with ego;
Sense & Sensibility
Receives the blow.
Pride and Prejudice
Wins the game;
Sense & Sensibility
Loses the same.
It’s not because
The times are unfair
Or that people nowadays
For goodness little care.
It’s just because
The Game is of
Darkening the light,
It’s just because
The Game is of
Losing one’s sight,
It’s just because
The Game is of
Deviating from the right.
So after all
Though Pride and Prejudice
Wins the game
And, Sense & Sensibility
Loses the same
Pride and Prejudice
Remains blind
And, Sense and Sensibility
Remains kind.

The changing wisdom of successive generations discards ideas, questions facts, demolishes theories. But the artist appeals to that part of our being which is not dependent on wisdom: to that in us which is a gift and not an acquisition — and, therefore, more permanently enduring. He speaks to our capacity for delight and wonder, to the sense of mystery surrounding our lives; to our sense of pity, and beauty, and pain; to the latent feeling of fellowship with all creation — and to the subtle but invincible, conviction of solidarity that knits together the loneliness of innumerable hearts: to the solidarity in dreams, in joy, in sorrow, in aspirations, in illusions, in hope, in fear, which binds men to each other, which binds together all humanity — the dead to the living and the living to the unborn.

Planet Of Dreams
Nothing on smoke today
Nothing dies on the wing
Wings been losing time
An anarchy born in pain
Pain that comes and goes
It goes against all you see
You see I got gables eyes
And eisenhower blames the poor
The poor huddled on the curb
Gotta get back in shape
Were backing up a major plan
Were treading on ? ? ? ? lights
Were walking under golden sun
Were living in a planet of dreams
Were living in a planet of dreams
Were living in a planet of dreams
Were living in a planet of dreams
Were living in a planet of dreams
Were living in a planet

Lost At Sea
Can we try to salvage what we can
From the weight of water and sand
And lifts us up again
Well this world is spinning out of control
Im bracing just to keep hold
As the clouds move in
With a driving wind so strong
Could it be that were lost at sea
And were drowning under the stars
Up to me I would ride this wave
Before we drift too far
What a lonely way to be
Lost at sea
Like a star in a night filled with tears
Make the sadness disappear
cause youre all that I hold dear
Well you walk
Never ever looking back
One defends and one attacks
Theres a thousand reasons to begin again
Could it be that were lost at sea
And were drowning under the stars
Up to me I would ride this wave
Before we drift too far
Take my hand, come to me
Save a life, rescue you, rescue me
Could it be that were lost at sea
And were drowning under the stars
Up to me I would ride this wave
Before we drift too far
Could it be that were lost at sea
And were drowning under the stars
Up to me I would ride this wave
Before we drift too far

Gone!
oh you know how it is
wake up feeling blue
and everything that could be wrong is
including you
black clouds and rain and pain in your head
and all you want to do is stay in bed
buf if you do that you'll be missing the world
because it doesn't stop turning whatever you heard
if you do that you'll be missing the world
you have to get up get out and get gone!
yeah you know how it is
wake up feeling green
sick as a dog and six times as mean
you don't want to sing you don't want to play
you don't want to swing you don't want to sway
all you want to do is nothing
on a day like today
but if you do that you 'll be missing the world
because it doesn't stop turning whatever you heard
if you do that you'll be missing the world
you have to get up get out and get gone!
yeah get up get out and get some fun
you have to get up get out and get gone!
yeah get up get out and get gone!
get up get out and get gone!
you have to get up get out and get living
yeah this is really it...
so you know how it is
wake up feeling grey
nothing much to think and nothing much to say
don't want to talk don't want to try
don't want to think don't want to know
who what where when or why...
oh but you do that and you're missing the world
yeah it's happening right now whatever you heard
you do that and you're missing the world
you have to get up get out and get gone!
yeah get up get out and have some fun
you have to get up get out and get gone!
yeah get up get out and get it on
get up get out and get gone!
you have to get up get out and get living
yeah this is really it!

Different World
You cant stop a man from learning
I could write the book of love
Captured moments there
Between me and you
Then I had the thought of leavin
It was a voice inside my head
Telling me I got to have the strength
To see it through
And I know its
Gonna break your heart
And I know its
Gonna break your heart
Im living in a different world
And as I slip away
I see you fade to black and white
Im living in a different world
With all my hopes and dreams
I drift off in the night
Im alone but Im not lonely
I found something that I never had
Laying back in the easy chair
Is not the life for me
You think Im your one and only
But you gamble with a restless man
In the end Ive found the way
That we can both be free
Im living in a different world
And as I slip away
I see you fade to black and white
Im living in a different world
With all my hopes and dreams
I disappear into the night
Im living in a different world
And as I slip away
I see you fade to black and white
Im living in a different world
With all my hopes and dreams
Im living in a different world
And as I slip away
Im living in a different world
With all my hopes and dreams
I disappear into the night

The Sunny Night
ONLY WITH A DOWN MOOD
YOUR BENEFITS FEELING
DOWN DOWN DOWN
DROWNING IN CONCRETE
DEPLOYED TO WAR WITH WHOM
THE NIGHT HAS A VOICE OF SUNLIGHT
SHINES IN THE DARK
FEELING NEW TO THIS DAY
HOURS AGO DREAMING IN A RETURN
WAKE UP INTO A ALTERCATION ADHERE
TO MY GUN
COMFORT THIS IS WAR AND WHAT
WILL ALWAYS BE
A MORNING TO WAR
BUT NIGHT JUST SO
I CAN CAMOFLAUGE
P.M ON THE CLOCK BUT
IM JUST AWAKE IN TIME
TIME FOR WAR

In Far Too Many Numbers They Rise (In Answer To Maya Angelou)
There are many facts in history
of people both ignorant and wise;
at times I look with incredulity
at how people multiply to rise
having as many children as they can do,
with diarrhoea, living in gloom,
with blown up bellies where food run through,
living in the very red-brown dirt in doom
without a look of hope in their eyes
where president-for-life dictators govern
with an iron rod, not hearing weakened cries,
while for civilization, for food they yearn;
where platinum, gold and copper mines
are sold to the Chinese, are from the country apart,
while parts of Africa goes into total decline
and to make a living is extremely hard.
Does this poem of mine offend you?
Unfortunately I do not deal in lies,
unfortunately these facts are very true
and to some people it’s no surprise
as AIDS, poverty, pestilence runs as a black tide
that comes in unstoppable waves of pain
from which very few of the poorest people can hide,
as far too many deaths happen again and again
and from this destruction very few get clear
while for something better they constantly crave
as their daily lives are always lived in fear,
as far too many go to a very early grave.
Still people multiply to rise under blue harsh skies
in far too many numbers, to never be free,
from lives that many of them do despise,
from lives lived in constant poverty.

Calling All Angels
I need a sign to let me know you're here
All of these lines are being crossed over the atmosphere
I need to know that things are gonna look up
'Cause I feel us drowning in a sea spilled from a cup
When there is no place safe and no safe place to put my head
When you feel the world shake from the words that are said
And I'm calling all angels
I'm calling all you angels
I won't give up if you don't give up ( repeat 4 times)
I need a sign to let me know you're here
'Cause my TV set just keeps it all from being clear
I want a reason for the way things have to be
I need a hand to help build up some kind of hope inside of me
And I'm calling all angels
I'm calling all you angels
When children have to play inside so they don't disappear
And private eyes solve marriage lies cause we don't talk for years
And football teams are kissing Queens
and losing sight of having dreams
In a world that what we want is only what we want until it's ours
I'm calling all angels
I'm calling all you angels

Hero's Return
In a time of fear and confusion,
silence charging the air
The sunlight is gone, darkness lives on
in the heart of the dragons lair
Lost in a world of illusions
No trace of the missing ore
Stealing our souls, were out of control,
knocking at deaths door
All our beliefs fading into ashes
Heed the words that we pray
For a Heros Return our hearts still yearn
Rise and conquer, let the infidels burn
Now we charge, the battle is raging,
blood runs everywhere
Our anger is fierce, avenging the years
No time for a final prayer
Behold, the might of the hammer,
elliptical bolts of fire
Theres nowhere to run, nowhere to hide
Youre down to the wire
Somewhere out there lies a new tomorrow
for me and those who believe
For a Heros Return our hearts still yearn
Rise and conquer, let the infidels burn
For a Heros Return our hearts still yearn
Rise and conquer, let the infidels burn
Oooh
Now, Ive returned from a place far beyond
My mission I set, let it be done
We still belive in a brighter future
The dreams are ours to fulfil
For a Heros Return.

Day Break Africa
Twenty-one days to an overthrow,
Twenty-one years from a hide-out;
Day break Africa with news around the world!
Out of changes, out of words,
One out of the muse that i bring to you;
Living on One Dollar a day means that,
We have no aids but hunger! !
Day break Africa with words from a bard,
Like a serious rethinking to all mankind;
Life in Africa matters to me a lot.
Braving through the thick and thin clouds of Africa,
Like the time when a party wins;
A muse like this puts up a serious rethinking.
Day break Africa with hunger,
Day break Africa with hospitality;
Mark the beloved child who wakes up early with,
No food at all! Yes, an empty stomach! !
Just like their parents and care-takers,
Just like the things you see around;
A life and death struggle for survival!
Lawlessness! A child is born;
With an empty bowl beside him or her.
This is to learn about the hardships of Africa,
This is to grow up in the mist of nothing;
Where many talents die out easily!
From hope to poverty,
from the North to the South;
From East to the West,
From the mountains to the rivers;
We need our fertile minds to do the thinking.
Gone-East, gone-West, gone out of bounds;
From the North to the South without hope,
Day break Africa with hunger!
More deaths cases are reported on malaria than aids,
But our best works are not even well known to the world;
Since, they rather cloth us with aids! ! !
From O.A.U. to A.U.,
From poverty to aids;
How long can we hoist a flag for our emancipation? !
Day break Africa with words,
Day break Africa with hope,
Day break Africa with Hunger,
Day break Africa with dreams;
Oh, how long can we hoist a flag for our emancipation?
Day break Africa!

Art of losing
Maybe a shock, maybe hard in the beginning
Maybe too soon, maybe numb in the feeling
Losing is losing
Always brings an amount of grief
Even the rich, even the expert
Whether once, whether often
Losing is losing
And deal with it
Whether precious, whether replaceable
Whether unconscious choice, whether paying the price
Losing is losing
But don't be carried with guilt
Whether mysteriously disappeared, whether deeply investigated
Whether destroying your life, whether ruining your happiness
Losing is losing
So start to forgive yourself

Mere existence (in answer to Breyten Breytenbach)
With the hot sun daily appearing,
the beauty of the glittering stars at night,
the wind dancing through the leaves
it seems as if every thing is caught,
as if existence is mere rejoicing
in which insects, birds and people are frolicking,
as if we are in a world that is only waiting
for bigger glory with each coming day
as if our lives are not measured out
to mere existence, as if time can last eternally,
as if time itself is missing,
only is something fleeting that we experience,
as if everything is caught in the here and now,
in that which we experience and live through,
the feelings in the heart,
the principles of loving
but reality
is filled with heartache,
illnesses, suffering and pain
with our youth that disappears,
there is grey coming to our hairs,
the beauty of our faces,
our bodies decay with the years
and time is measured out for every one
until when our lives suddenly
or gradually comes to a end,
where each one of us decays
like just another wilting flower.

Deep Water
Is it a crime for me to be feeling this way
I'm going out of my mind and there's
no change from a runaway love
Is it a dream (is it a dream)
That I'm throwing in the wishing well
I'm losing control my body and soul
(body and soul)Standing here waiting
for a train that may never come
I saw the signs I read the books
I should of had a second look
ut you caught me dreaming
nd there were times you'd come around a
we'd agreed to just be friends tell
me who it's fooling oooo
Deep water I'm drowning
Deep water I'm slowly drowning in deeper
Deep water I'm drowning
Deep water I'm slowly drowning in deeper
what do I say(what can I say)
where words have failed me before
what do i do when i'm feeling so blue
and there's no place for me to run and hide
I saw the sun inside your smile and wished
for then just awhile cause boy you caught
me dreaming a giant step into the dark
and we through caution to the wind tell
me who we're fooling oooo
Deep water I'm drowning
deep water i'm slowly drowning in deeper
Deep water i'm drowning
deep water i'm slowly drowning deeper
i'm drowning
deeper deeper i'm drowning in deeper
oh i saw the signs i read the book
i should have had a second look
cause boy you caught me dreaming
and there are times youd come around
and we'd agreed to just be friends tell me who it's fooling
Deep water i'm drowning
deep water i'm slowly drowning in deeper
deep water i'm drowning
deep water i'm slowly drowning in deeper
deeper deeper deeper
i'm drowning in deeper
(drowning in drowning in drowning in)
deeper deeper deeper
so deep is the water

Stop Trying to Find the Logic in Everything
The trouble with people feeding their greed,
And perceiving their feeding to hoard
To be an eternal process,
For themselves to be kept stored.
With no one else to profit from a process,
Not stopped.
Is...
Well,
One day to be revealed as preventable.
Even their selfish deeds must come to an end.
Whether or not...
They believe what has been available,
Has been diminished without the consciousness
Of their active input,
To keep what is missing their responsibilty
To nourish the flourishing that is obviously,
Absent from their purpose.
And those who live just to feed their greed,
Do not realize they place themselves in jeopardy.
Although they are not aware of this
Behind walls of a blocked isolation.
Perceived from a direction of its inception
To be an envied way a life.
Needing at their own expense to protect.
Even if that expense is aided by depending
On the discreet and secret borrowing from others.
'I thought you said 'they' were our enemies?
Them and they and those others? '
Who cares?
What is more important?
Impressing with our pretentions
Or being honest with ourselves?
'None of it makes any sense.'
When did the feeding of one's greed,
Ever made any sense?
Hmmm?
It is a standard that is valued.
We thrive on our pretentions!
Remember that.
Stop trying to find logic in everything.
