The classics
How authentic a drawing is,
How expressive a painting is,
How imaginative a poem is,
And how narrative a prose is
Define how far they are classics.

Feel Terrific
You keep me lifted.
And I admit.
I feel terrific...
When I'm given this lift.
You keep me lifted,
And I admit...
I feel terrific,
When I'm given this lift!
No alcohol do I need to get this boost.
Anything that aggravates I just let loose.
I feel like sitting on the roof,
To do exactly what I choose.
When that mood in me rules!
And I want to get lifted.
I admit.
I feel terrific...
When I'm given this lift.
I do,
Just feel terrific.
And you...
Can feel terrific.
Just choose...
To be terrific.
And be lifted with a boost.
Be specific.
When you get your lift.
Feel terrific.
And just handle it!
I do,
Just feel terrific.
And you...
Can feel terrific.
Just choose...
To be terrific.
And,
Be...
Llifted with a boost.
I do,
Just feel terrific.
And you...
Can feel terrific.
Just choose...
To be terrific.
And be lifted with a boost.
You keep me lifted.
And I admit.
I feel terrific...
When I'm given this lift.
You keep me lifted,
And I admit...
I feel terrific,
When I'm given this lift!
I do,
Just feel terrific.
And you...
Can feel terrific.
Just choose...
To be terrific.
And be lifted with a boost.
And you...
Can feel terrific.
Just choose...
To be terrific.
And be lifted with a boost.

To be able to write a play a man must be sensitive, imaginative, naive, gullible, passionate; he must be something of an imbecile, something of a poet, something of a liar, something of a damn fool.

To be sensitive
As sensitive, I am neither tolerant nor patient.
As sensitive, I am neither neutral nor indifferent.
As sensitive, I am either a rose or a cactus.
Whose fault is it that I am sensitive?

Failure is authentic, and because it's authentic, it's real and genuine, and because of that, it's a pure state of being.

A Neighborly Guy
Baptist churches and brotherhood
In a tired, aging town
A moribund neighborhood
Where faith and fraternity are found
Cleveland Ohio’s a rust belt town
Ordinary citizens, still work out the days
Life comes and goes, has ups and has downs
But some neighbors are different in unusual ways
Take Anthony Sowell, a neighborly guy
A smile bright as the sunrise, none brighter or quicker
Liked to sit on his porch, by and by
Sippin’ from a bottle of King Cobra Malt Liquor
Had a few girlfriends over, seemed a regular guy
Neighbors came over for barbecue at times
Always said “good mornin’ and evening” and “hi’
Scrounged up ol’ metal for nickels and dimes
Neighbors at times notice odd scents
Of dead things or spoiled meat
Seemed to be coming from beyond a fence
Of a sausage maker just down the street
But Anthony sowell, a neighborly guy
Had compliant companions who sat quietly inside
Four on the couch slowly rotting
and three on the floor where they died
A few in the hallway
several upstairs in the bed
One in the bathroom,
on his workbench, a severed head
Anthony Sowell, a neighborly guy
was led in handcuffs through his front gate
Left his neighbors imaginations to fly
As to what was in that barbecue they ate
Anthony seemed such a neighborly guy
Some said they’d forever feel sickened
Some said they’d never eat barbecue again
Some said it tasted a little like chicken

You'd Be Terrific In a Silent Movie
If I could rate you,
I'd be elated.
You'd be terrific,
In a silent movie.
Your mood is too dramatic.
And it comes across irratic.
With the touches of a cat,
That scratches right back.
Or a rat that is cornered,
And prepared to attack.
oooOOOoooOOO...
If I could rate you,
I'd be elated.
You'd be terrific,
In a silent movie.
Your mood is too dramatic.
And it should be cinematic.
With a few moods overused...
Too crude in attitude.
oooOOOoooOOO...
In that moody brood you do,
Would behoove you to be cool.
oooOOOoooOOO
oooOOOoooOOO...
If I could rate you,
I'd be elated.
You'd be terrific,
In a silent movie.
With lights turned up,
But sound hushed of your blues!
You'd be terrific In a silent movie.
You'd be terrific if you were caged in a coop.

Either something is authentic or it is unauthentic, it is either false or true, make-believe or spontaneous life; yet here we are faced with a prevaricated truth and an authentic fake, hence a thing that is at once the truth and a lie.

There is a certain kind of respect for authenticity today that there wasn't back in the days when they did 'Cleopatra,' where everything looked like a giant motel. People want to have it be authentic in the look, and authentic in the way people behave.

Wave Wet Sand
You are as reliable as a painting
In wave wet sand.
Look in your eyes and I cant see a thing,
That usually means attratction to me
Ive read all the books about love I could find,
And Ive found not one, no,
Not one word about mine -
cause you are reliable as a painting
In wave wet sand
Youre coming and youre going:
Like the water you never end.
cause you are reliable as a painting
In wave wet sand
And I am just another piece of an island
In reach for your hands
...feel my doubts when you are in my arms.
Darling: if you know that its love
And not charm
You must tell me so or go elsewhere to hunt.
cause you are...
Your love...
I am just another piece of an island
I cant close my ears when I hear that you call.
I dont want to fear every tear that could fall:
Ill go on my own, and pass people with doubts.
My goal is to find just a piece of your love.
Your love is - your love is like the water
You are like the water.
You are like the water.
You, you are my shore, and you know
You are my shore.
cause you are reliable like a painting...
I am just another piece of an island...

Please Do Not Bring This to Their Attention
Hmmm,
Authentic?
About as authentic as false smiles will allow.
I guess.
Or one's depiction of those envied,
At best.
Who knows?
One's truth is in the acceptance of one's perception.
And the ability to entertain denial!
Stand where you are,
And observe this!
It's free.
One who embellishes without constraint,
Can damage the quality of a class act.
By going through the motions.
And not a growth shown from that...
Is attempted with or without requests.
Authentic?
Will put replicas to shame.
If recognized!
But those accustomed to mediocrity,
Would never know the difference between
What's genuine or fake.
Since much of their environment,
Is based on substitutes and other things demeaned.
Oh...stop that glaring at me!
Open your eyes and let that be seen.
I'm just your tour guide.
Not the creator of this BS!
However,
Please do not bring this to their attention.
We find their pretentions,
Priceless.
And...
Judging by your reaction,
You do as well.
At least your good tastes have not been wasted.
