Trials Of Tears

When humanity is lost,
When greed and anger took the scales,
And justice thrown far faraway,
We only see trials of tears.

When brute strength is forced,
When the weak are easily trampled,
And life of others given no value,
We only see trials of tears.

O man, remember! Every soul has a right,
That are sacred and protected,
Beware silent whispers of the oppressed,
Cause one day, justice again must certainly reappear!

On the Innate Drive For What is Right

As life bled, martyrdom flared its buds.
Repression, red from irritation,
Rendered chinks and cracks; but thuds of
Armament - in cowardice - accomplice of the
Dictatorial blight thro' countless years -
Wreaked its retribution:
Yet hope began to bloom a coloured carapace
Enshrining their allegiance ‘gainst the
Terror in their tears.

And on! Splits yawned - breaches in the junta:
Flesh fought fanatical minds -
Bullets welcomed into open hands
And blessed with yearnings for morality:
Chiselled man-toys of death and mutilation
Couldn't repel the might of freedom
Surging at the bright horizon.

Crepuscular rays of purpose, body,
Flooded pandemonium with
Overwhelming clarity, direction -
Burdened clouds drifting wayward as the
Light channelled out a vision,
Intensifying focus on tomorrow -
Deepen their stride
As they home in to
What is theirs,
Rightfully theirs!

All My Trials

I had a little book
Was give to me
And every page
Spoke of liberty
All my trials
Will soon be over
There is a tree
In paradise
The pilgrims call it
The tree of life
All my trials
Will soon be over
But its too late, my friend
Too late
But never mind
All my trials
Will soon be over
If religion were a thing
That money could buy
Then the rich would live
And the poor would die
All my trials
Will soon be over
All my trials
Will soon be over

IN THE LINE OF DUTY (In the memory of Cst. J.T. NKOSI)

Was it a grudge?
or maybe a trap?
But why him?
A role model in the making
forced to decline
But how?

Why did he have to die?
Was it all worth his life?
His name was Justice
Has justice been done
but why him?

In the line of duty, he lost his life.
His privilledge to live.
I personally lost a hero
The question stands unanswered: has justice been done?

In the line of duty, I lost a friend, a neighbor and a role model.
but still I ask: Why him?

Cop killers have no space in my world
Lets join hands and bring them to justice.

Then his soul will rest in peace

Justice is the One who gives Life on Me

For the people who seek for comfort or dead mercy,
Their fairness sob and yet still strife for their right,
I rage against the death of justice before it will be.

My eyes shed tears, my heart crumpled tenderly
Cries of beggar and poor who gleamed on my sight,
For only Justice is the one who gives life on me.

The soul who screams, murdered by hatred and fury,
By means of politics, they were killed and cause blight
I rage against the death of justice before it will be.

Such criminals must be punish and injured severely,
Either they’ll tell the truth or lie, a freedom to fight,
For only Justice is the one who gives life for me.

Unjust power, ways of government over sovereignty,
To rule the nation seeking in dark the hopes in light
Yet, rage against the death of justice before it will be.

Hearts and souls are estranged on life that’s so unlucky,
And unfair and believers grasp on their faith; hold on tight,
And rage against the death of justice before it will be,
For only Justice, Justice and Justice…
Which the one who gives life to me.

Justice Of The Peace

(ian hunter)
Its such a terrible shame it was only a game
Then her brothers found out seven johnny be goodes
We was only pretending at mummys and daddys
They totally misunderstood
Oh what a terrible plight what a terrible fight
It was too much to bear her father said ere
I think you better sign its a letter designed
To have you married by the first of the year
Get the justice of the peace
Get the justice get the justice of the peace
Oh get the justice of the peace
Get the justice get the justice of the peace
If you want to play with fire
Youll get yourself burned
I was messing with the ashes
But look at how it turned out
Get the justice of the peace
Get the justice get the justice of the peace
Oh what a terrible waste such a shocking disgrace
To give me away Im too young to die
A shotgun wedding heading straight for the sky
And Im shy mary ellen Im shy y y y
Get the justice of the peace
Get the justice Ill get the justice of the peace
Come on!
Get the justice of the peace
Get the justice Ill get the justice of the peace
When your chips go down
You came on the dice
Forget the mississippi
Take some friendly advice
Get the justice of the peace
Ill get the justice Ill get the justice of the peace
(give it to me old chum)
Get the justice of the peace
Get the justice Ill get the justice of the peace
Get the justice of the peace
Get the justice Ill get the justice of the peace
If you want to play with fire
Youll get yourself burned
And I was messing with the ashes
And look at how it turned out
Ill get the justice get the justice of the peace
Ill get the justice Ill get the justice of the peace
Ill get the justice get the justice of the peace

Modern Office Injustice

The impertinence of the modern office
And all those who carry out injustice
Has contributed to him losing his Mojo
Now he bears no interests in the joys of London Soho

He has only tears and sorrow
Saving his strength for tomorrow
And don't ask him if he is boozing
Nor ask him if he is cruising
Only his disappointment is right now oozing

Has he lost his Mojo?
Has he lost his drive?
Or lost his glow because of negative flows?
Has he lost his instincts to survive?

And the answer is 'No, No and No'
Don’t take his silence as a knockdown blow
Justice will come even though it is sometimes slow
We read it and we see it each day on television
The fight, a repeated rehearsal and revision of editions

When the strong become momentarily weak
The weak gain strength that makes you feel sick
You've countless nights when you can't sleep
The only question that is pondering on his lips

Is, has he lost his Mojo?
Has he lost the will?
Will this feeling of hate grow?
When will justice itself instill?

Who knows how the story goes!
The impertinence of the modern office
I say 'Shame to all those
Who partake in carrying out injustice! '

As Troubles Brew

With so much about us happening, so many hearts cease to sing,
This as the many troubles brew, causing effect upon me and you,
Causing that song, within one’s heart, for a brief period to depart,
As those troubles seem to grow, and turn their joy toward sorrow.

But as troubles begin to mount, we have blessings we can count,
God’s Blessings that forever last, long after all our trials are past,
And in all trials there is reward, as believers are used by our Lord,
To be for God a shining light, as we’re sustained by God’s Might.

We acquire strength from Christ, while we live out our present life,
Through His Spirit Who lives within, to help us in this world of sin,
And Christ gives to us His peace, that in all trials does not cease,
Looking unto our Blessed Hope, Christ helps us in our trials cope.

Though the trials we may despise, upon our Lord we fix our eyes,
For He is the Author of our life, able to assist us through all strife,
Those trials He warned us of, before ascending to Heaven above,
Where He now intercedes for us, after, in Christ we place our trust.

Even when things in life go wrong, our Lord God gives us a song,
Providing blessings every day, when life’s trouble comes our way,
Strength and peace, God will provide, when in Christ we do abide,
And life’s trying times we rise above, guided by our Savior’s Love.

Is It Really Justice or Just Revenge?

Is capital punishment justice or is it revenge?
This is the question that I want to defend.
Is it really justice if you have to kill someone?
Or is the killing of a being just for your fun?
Is a murder really justified if the culprit spends less time in jail?
If so then it seems capital punishment is just easy bail.

They should be punished and not given an out of jail card,
All capital punishment is doing is spending money, cold and hard.
Wanting them to die doesn’t seem like justice but revenge?
It leaves blood on your hands when there life ends.
Life is full of trials and tribulations this is a must,
But if you kill a man then it won’t make life any more just.

Justice is using authority to give a fair decree,
But intended death to a being doesn’t seem fair to me.
Revenge is to satisfy in retaliation,
But death’s your one hit wonder, one satisfaction.
So I will always choose the criminals to defend,
Leaving you with your decision: justice or revenge?

Weak

(1) Lost in time
I can't count the words
I said when I thought
They went unheard
All of these harsh thought
So unkind
"Cause I wanted you
I wanted you
And now I sit here
I'm all alone
So here sits a bloody mess
Tears fly home
A circle of angels
Deep in war
'Cause I wanted you
I wanted you
Weak as I am
No tears for you
Weak as I am
No tears for you
Deep as I am
I'm no one's fool
Weak as I am
So what am I now
But love's last home
I'm all of the soft words
I once owned
If I opened my heart
There'd be no space for air
'cause I wanted you
I wanted you
Weak as I am
No tears for you
Weak as I am
I'm too much for you
Deep as I am
I'm no one's fool
Weak as I am
With this changing soul
In this weak old heart
Oh baby, ain't I too much for you
With this changing soul
In this weak old heart
Oh baby, ain't I too much for you
[Repeat (1)]
Weak as I am
No tears for you
Weak as 'I'm nobody's fool
Deep as I am
No tears for you
Weak as I am
Weak as I am
I'm too much for you
Weak as I am
No tears for you
Weak as I am
I'm nobody's fool
Weak as I am
Weak as I am
Weak as I am
Weak as I am
Weak as I am

Judge of Justice (Why this Poverty)

With all my wisdom
The poor bow his head
Even in your kingdom
I do acknowledge
Before cruel hand of strength
There is no regards for knowledge
Many a time
I have seen
The poor being disregarded
And badly humiliated
Is this the justice awarded?
You the judge of justice
They have nothing
Only grief as wealth
Tears roll down their cheeks
They sleep hungry for weeks
O judge of justice
Why is this injustice
What was poor's foul
Of the tactless soul
Why you sent them to world
Full of men cruel and bold
Where without strength
Poor have to mew
You showered wealth
In the houses of few
By your great grace
Many are enjoying health
It's your presence
That flower give fragrance
Then why you deprived them
Of good health and ample wealth
Why embittered their life
Shrouded their soul with grief
O judge of justice
Why you did injustice

Drought

My tears my tears which water my mind
My tears my tears which make me strong
Tears of joy, tears of every kind
Tears of my sorrow, in my sorrowful song
Weeping tears never more
It is gone, it is gone my hearts manifestation
My tears, my tears my eyes adore
The tears of my soul, my only consolation
But never more, will my eyes leak
I can cry no more, for death did steal
The tears of me, forever dry and weak
My tears, my joy, my life's zeal…

Welcome Cross

'Tis my happiness below
Not to live without the cross,
But the Saviour's power to know,
Sanctifying every loss;
Trials must and will befall;
But with humble faith to see
Love inscribed upon them all,
This is happiness to me.

God in Israel sows the seeds
Of affliction, pain, and toil;
These spring up and choke the weeds
Which would else o'erspread the soil:
Trials make the promise sweet,
Trials give new life to prayer;
Trials bring me to His feet,
Lay me low, and keep me there.

Did I meet no trials here,
No chastisement by the way,
Might I not with reason fear
I should prove a castaway?
Bastards may escape the rod,
Sunk in earthly vain delight;
But the true-born child of God
Must not -- would not, if he might.

What would Amos say?

The rural prophet was greeted with cheers when he began his discourse thus:

“This is what Justice demands:
For three acts of treachery, even four, the Banks will face outrage
Greed will consume their senses; avarice will cloud their judgement,
The sleeping giant of public anger will consume the Banks,
Their Ivory Towers will collapse at their feet
Their castles will be foreclosed.
Their guilt was treachery, broken trust, greed and last
But not least the silent axe at the root of their empires… being wise in their own eyes”.

And the crowd exploded with roars of agreement… the media never leads, but follows public opinion.

“This is what Trust witnesses:
For their acts of betrayal, even corruption, Politicians will destroy
trust in democracy, by their greed and rampant selfishness
Feeds into a nation devoid of community awareness,
A nation seduced by celebrity and fame
Corruption, word and deed exposed for consumers
Judgement and cynicism increase sales
No lie can last forever, or cease to be a lie on Peerage.

And the crowd erupts with rehearsed indigence… congratulating
moral superiority not two threads above corruption.

“This is what Truth Exposes:
For their acts of indifference and conformity
English church of the indifferent mind
Status is worshiped, conformity honoured
Objective in indifference…they look the other way
Disengaged they preach at the Trapped
If they preach at all it is not the Holy Word
Lipservice addicted to circle of peers
Investment for greed, £40 million lost
Denies justice to the oppressed
The poor are with us always
Lacking… Justice, Dignity and Truth
Where is the Voice of the Voiceless?
Who keeps a record of the weak?

SILENCE
… the rest is silence.

I'll Cry Silent Tears

I shall cry silent tears today
For a lady and her baby on the way
My heart, my soul want to scream in rage
There is no justice, in this age

So young and beautiful, near life's beginning
A murder so sad, with no one winning
Leaving alone in the world, a child of just two
Seeing her murder, being the only clue

I shall mourn her death today
She gave her heart and became his prey
Her love wasn't enough, her life he took
And her unborn baby, got him off the hook

So many lives savagely lost to domestic abuse
Most are behind closed doors, don’t make the news
So I’ll cry silent tears today
I didn’t know her, but I’ll cry anyway!

The Good With The Bad

We seem to accept all the good, from God as it comes our way,
But, then God is misunderstood, when we come to a darker day,
Everyone knows that in our life, trials indeed are bound to come,
And men must lean on Jesus Christ, the Lord God’s Eternal Son.

Friend, trials come to all of us, whether or not in God we believe,
And when in God we put our trust, strength from Him we receive,
It is this strength that guides us in, and throughout a darker time,
Giving us God’s peace within, all through God’s gracious design.

Some men may come to the place, as they face a trial in this life,
And may look to God’s grace, while acknowledging Jesus Christ,
For trials God may well conceive, in the path of others my friend,
So others may come to believe, in this lifetime beyond the bend.

All things work together my friend, for all who truly love the Lord,
And His Truth prevails in the end, Truth that through all’s endured,
For all called for God’s purpose, as we live out this temporal life,
As we’re pressed into His service, given His power over all strife.

In this service of Christ our King, there are still trials that we face,
But, He who handles everything, supplies us all with ample grace,
Grace that is offered to everyone, in every land and every nation,
As they embrace God’s only Son, and receive His only Salvation.

One Question One Answer

What is happiness?
Is it a feeling
And if so does it have purpose
Does it have meaning
If you do not have happiness
this feeling
How does one find it
How do you find an emotion, a feeling
is it at a certain destination,
Do you have a map
Now is happiness classified under emotion
if so is it fleeting
passing through your body like tears from crying
anger, sadness
All of which no one wishes to hold in their possesion
Is happiness a tangible jewel a present
We all wish to be happy in some way
You cant look for happiness you cant question its glory
Life wasnt scripted like a musical play
We know where there are tears and no anger or sadnesss
then those are tears of joy
Happiness
We know when we can breath and exhale the weight in our chest and dispel the anger and sorrow
You can smile and breath let go of the pain
In that is happiness that gives hope for tomorrow
Each day hard with trials that can be overcome
That cannot overtake you dont give them room too
Deal with each of them one by one
Everyone can hold, feel, find or achieve this emotion called happiness
only by knowing that life would not be life
without tears, sorrow, pain, or anger
The point is not to wallow in them but wade
Until eventually the tide descends and your making knew footprints
feeling happier

Justice Delayed, Justice Denied

JUSTICE DELAYED, JUSTICE DENIED
Melvin Banggollay

Everyone has the basic right
To get justice with all its might
Which due process should fight
for real justice to shade its light.

But today as politics come to play
or richness and power interplay
With judicial systems foreplay
Justice delayed in so many way.

Justice delayed, justice denied
An unjust lawyer motto and pride
Only to show their wit as they ride
in the hall of justice with all stride.
but never for lawyers who abide
by truth their conscience can't hide.

Let's not circumvent truth with lies
Or trickery with our masterful ability
To set a culprit free from agony
in our greed for honey and money
at the expense of our honor and dignity
before God and the eyes of humanity.

Let the truth always set us free
Let it previal even its hurts any
For this is the real face of reality
that must take its light to carry
Justice to safeguard humanity.

Let us not circumvent in any way
The law just to protect one's impurity
Seal the truth to hide one's criminality
And do everything for one's posterity
even if that man is the real culprit
Even that man did all the merit
of the crime he can never discredit
yet with a lawyers treachery and wit
that man can be freed by his credit.

In so many cases when the victim is poor
Justice takes a duckling walk in the floor
But if the victim belongs to the wealthy
Justice takes a leap across reality
For sometimes money, wealth and power
Push the cart of justice with all its grandeur.

Touch Others With Tears

When trials descends upon the home,
I am left alone to find solution,
With tears making sheltering atone.

They turned to water and wet my face,
Problems trace the air in silence,
They leave to go and return in haste.

The friends I ask for help,
It seems they too have long slip,
From the positions they had grip.

Their hearts are made of stone,
With passion surrendering decision
I wrestle with passion.

Struggle on trying to understand,
We have to the face trials in our mind,
Treat then as an enemy or a friend.

Realise everything is just for a little while,
We can walk away or even run a mile,
But a problem share though a smile.

Will overcome the winds that blow,
The pain where the tears flows,
Reaching heights of sorrows.

Outside when the tears dried,
Pain goes where tears cannot hide,
The breath we take torment inside.

From the moment you touch others,
See the world through their watery eyes,
Piercing inside with winter tears.
