Trapped In Despair
I was placed in sadness
I was placed in darkness
I was placed in fear
Trapped in a place called despair
Despair is cold
Despair is unkind
Despair he lingers all the time
You find yourself clinging to the light
Just praying for that light
Please light save me for I am…trapped in despair
Then you see the light and it turns to your eyes
it turns to your smile
at the sound of your angelic voice…
the place grows warm
all fear flees
the light that is your eyes fills this place the darkness is chased away
My sadness has vanished
You extend a firm hand and rip me from despair
You wrap your arms around me and whisper in my ear…
Never again will you be…trapped in despair.

But Don't Despair
Despair, if you must –
But how's it going to pull you through?
Despair, when you trust
Naught since then there's naught to do.
Despair, should you thrust
Aside your pride, your self-esteem.
And so despair, if it's dust,
The only substance that you deem.
Despair, when a gust
Of slightly breeze can break your stance.
And do despair, when lust
Is your interpretation of romance.
But don't despair, if you can care
About the plight of any other being.
And you can focus on the help,
Support, and altruistic further actions
For the seeing. Be believing,
As despair will start receding
All around – simply since you found
A way to steer you clear
From this: the very cause of your despair!
So give to others; give them all a helping lift:
Despair, you'll find will disappear –
And that has got to be a well-deserved
And saintly gift!

Despair Of The Early Morning
DESPAIR OF THE EARLY MORNING
Despair of the early morning
Despair of the darkness
Despair of the Despair
Despair of Old Age
Despair of the road closed
Despair of nothing to do
Despair of nowhere to go
Despair of endless errands
Despair of money running out
Despair of the message of Despair
One transmits to those one loves.
Despair that has to be resisted
Despair that the light of the day
Will help me overcome
Despair I will pray my way out of
Despair I will in the course of the day
Sometime overcome.
Not the great Despair
The unending Despair
The final Despair.
The small Despair of who I am and where I am now.
The Despair that still can be resisted,
By the writing of a few awkward lines
Early in the morning.

The Pit of Despair!
The pit of despair is a deep, dark lonely place,
In which the likes of evil people face.
A place of solitude, misery and misfortune,
To where the tainted hearts must go.
People like Christina, Dayton, Jerry and Nate should be,
While the devil makes them pay for their sins.
A deep, dark hole,
Where sinners pay a toll.
From the dark depths of the earth.
Despair comes to take the souls of dark hearted people.
The pit of despair is not a friendly place,
For once you are there you may never leave.
While you’re in despair you will know pain,
For you will be tortured for days end.
Despair is hard, damn near impossible to escape,
Especially for a child how has seen rape.
Some people have escaped and are happy,
While others have not and are miserable.
Down they plummet,
To the cold depths of the underworld,
Where they are being waited for.
When in despair,
You’re in place where no one wishes to be,
You’re in hell, a place of despair,
The Pit of Despair.

My Despair Comes And Goes
My Despair comes and goes
It is not the ultimate despair,
The despair of those who have forever lost hope
The despair of those who have lost what they never will regain
The despair of those for whom there is no way out
No way to begin again
No hope in any way forever
My Despair comes and goes
It is a small Despair compared to many others
When I am in it of course
I believe it like theirs Hopeless forever hopeless
But then a new day begins,
Or a friendly voice says a friendly word
Or something good and positive happens
Or the weather changes
Or some hurt goes away
Some sign comes
And slowly slowly
I am not there anymore.
My Despair comes and goes
It is not the worst Despair
Not yet-
Yesterday I was in Despair
Today I am almost already not
I pray my writing this
Will help some despairing reader feel
They too will hope again.

Can A Poem Be Written Of Total Despair?
CAN A POEM BE WRITTEN OF TOTAL DESPAIR?
Can a poem be written of total despair?
Of life which has lost its meaning completely?
Can a poem be written of such sadness
That it pains night and day?
Can a poem be so deep in darkness
it will never yield light?
Or is the poem itself the sign
That the darkness is not dark forever
And the pain can go away
And despair too will have its own death
And life will once again begin to believe in itself
Even if only shakily?

Dark Canyons Of Lost Souls
Twisting, turning, groping, along the darkened canyons of my soul,
Stumbling blindly, feeling the cold slimy fabric of my existence.
The beings of this world are crazy, driven, obscene, and insane,
With lives of real desperation, hearts full of sorrow and pain.
I raise my voice in anguish,
And scream in fear and despair.
I beg for the light of reason,
To reach me way down here.
Evil, disgusting, and hateful, with greed and lust as their mores,
Raping children, spending their essence, in the bellies of whores.
In this pit, this dungeon of hell, are fantasies of sex and desire.
Where evil must be obtained and yet escape the wrath of hells fire.
I raise my voice in anguish,
I scream in fear and despair,
I beg for the light of goodness,
To reach me way down here.
Gluttony is practiced with fervor in every manner they know,
Consumption is the real god of the vipers in the pit here below.
Raise me up from the quagmire of murder, of rape and conceit.
Help me find my way out of the canyons of darkness and deceit.
I raise my voice in anguish,
I scream in fear and despair,
I beg for the light of peace,
To reach us way down here.
Lead me up to shining mountains, in the light of the golden glow.
Let me walk through the silver clouds, and roll in crystal snow.
Let me breathe the clean air of freedom and soar on eagles wings.
I'll look down on darkened canyons and dream of lovely things.
No raising my voice in anguish,
No screaming in fear or despair,
No begging for light and reason,
Because I'll not be down here.

Despair/Suicide
When you feel so lost and lonely
and the world feels like despair
and there is no one to talk to
your hell is out there
the darkness of that tunnel
goes on for miles and miles
no golden flickers of light
only more and more despair
that feeling just creeps over you
it gains more power and strength
as you reach out for the tablets
taking one with each dark step
before you know it there all gone
how many did you take?
what the hell i dont care! !
theres no one to listen to you anyways
my life has been a misery
for oh so many years
it never seems to get better
just more and more despair
you lay down on a dark cold path
just waiting for to die
you can feel the drugs take over
with each and every sigh
your heart is getting weaker
the beats are slowing down
and you cant cry for help
you cant even make a sound
so as you lay there in the cold and dark
your breath is very shallow
your eyes will close for ever now
and you will find your peace out there.

Recued From Darkness
Clear is the way that we must go,
Don't look behind!
All that you've known soon will be gone.
Now you must feed your soul with light,
No more despair, no broken dreams,
Your time has come to see the light.
Pick-up your sword and follow me!
A ray of light has made it through,
Your broken soul has payed the prize.
The light has come, no more despair.

But Reach For His Hand
Across the heavens where the only sound, is that of a hymn in glory bound.
For He cares and hears our every prayer, beyond despair He is always there.
No matter how feeble our reach, He will extend a hand for each to grasp even in spite of His wrath.
Across the heavens beyond despair, beyond all fear He is there,
aware of our suffering and our strife and will extend a hand for us to grasp as He pulls us into light.
But reach for His hand is what He will teach, and hearken to His uplifting speech,
in prayer we can reach His soothing touch as with His love enduring, He will lift us up.

Someone...
Someone, somewhere,
is feeling my despair.
Yet no residue, no trace is found,
of this person, ever understanding.
Words kind, eyes full of love and caring
Nobody knows the despair inside of me!
Oh, but you understand it,
you know my sadness, you've been through it all.
You're always willing to help me,
pick me up when I fall.
Now let me help you,
through all your hard times.
Let me pick you up from your despair,
and give you the happiness we once shared.
I'm not lying to you, you know its true,
that I'll give all I have for you

Happiness...Despair
While happiness is the twin sibling of
despair, it is despair that is
the stronger of the two.
In life. happiness are but fleeting moments.
Despair lurks forever in the shadows
of our mind and our hearts...until the
final darkness.
Meet My Despair
Meet my despair,
She doesn't even show signs of care.
She knows she'll be my destruction,
That's the meaning behind her construction.
Meet my despair,
You can taste the foul death in the air.
She smirks at the cause of my untimly death,
It makes her lose her frigid breath.
Meet my despair,
She's my burden to bear.
She'll dance on my grave,
Ah, she's so brave.
Meet my despair,
her name's.357 magnum.
She's truly lovely.
She's truly mine,
My despair.

Despair in Love, Love in Despair
Why do i find solace in my loneliness
But find sorrow with those wit whom i share the same blood
Why do i hide behind these fake smiles of happiness
When this sorrow and unrest washes over my soul like a flood
Its pathetic how i'm laughing on the outside
Laughing at how everyting is all right
While i'm crying and dying on the inside
Not wanting anyone to see my sad sad plight
Why is it that i continuosly distance myself
from those who are or try to get close
I see love as nothing more than a drug
that people are addicted to the point of overdose
I am one who finds solace in despair
in sorrow, in sadness, in darkness
I am one who feels pain in love
I see it as evil like a vulture, instead of pure like a dove
Love can build, but it can also destroy
It takes away everything, all of the joy
Despair may seem like incarnated bitterness
But its there to comfort in the face of loneliness
I find myself wishing for the company of the feeling of melancoly
Its as if i can't function without it
Like a flower without an ounce of water
Could this feeling be, truly be love
I see that in the end, that i find myself in a paradox
A large cell with many locks
Two sides of the same coin
Love and Despair, Despair and Love
Despair in Love, Love in Despair
I can't make it disappear
Don't want to make it disappear

Golden Gate - Beauty/Despair
The golden gate stretched far and wide,
Till the eye can see,
The line of beauty never fading,
Strong, bewildered and free.
Caste a gaze by the shadowed eye,
It brings the brilliance bound,
But in the pupil suffering
For despair is the sound.
It echoes each vibrant step,
As if waiting for light,
Even with the brilliance,
Despair steps in sight.
Even with the beauty hold,
And with the gate solid gold,
Despair lurks round and round,
Bringing glory to the ground.
And this alas, the golden gate,
Not beautiful, but nor in despair,
Not enough to shine the world,
But given enough thou care.

Something Never There
I'm lying in this pool of dark,
I'm crying out despair,
I'm mourning for what I have not lost,
For something never there,
I watched you from a distance,
And hope flared within my chest,
But then I heard,
And then I knew,
Then the black took my hand,
From the light came darkness,
And from the hope despair,
For my love has killed me,
And caused my blood to spill,
Led my soul into damnation,
Been my bodies end,
I hope that in my final stand,
My soul has been set free,
Free from a hollow cage,
Bound in chains of tainted love,
I'm hoping now it's ended,
Hoping dark will turn to light,
But I'm lying in this pool of dark,
Crying out despair,
Mourning what I have not lost,
And what was never there,
Hoping light will come,
BUt knowing,
Knowing light will never shine,
On such a sullied heart,
And in my final stand,
I took my leave,
My life.

The Path of Hope
The Path of Hope
The Path of Life is layed before you
Life is like a novel…It has elements
It has Characters
It has Settings
It has a Plot
It has Ideals and Morals
Like Friendship and Love
Like Faith and Sacrifice
Like Fate and Destiny
Like Hope and Despair
There are Paths…Paths of your destiny
The Path of Good or The Path of Evil
The Path of Darkness or The Path of Light
The Path of Hope or The Path of Despair
Only you can choose your path
But chose wisely…For you can’t turn back time
You must follow your heart…For it will guide you
Never give up on your dreams
Always Believe…Trust your heart
Don’t let the bad people get you down
Just Believe,
Trust your Heart,
Have Faith in your Dreams,
Have Hope in the Despair,
Follow the Light in the Darkness
Find the Euphoria in the Sorrows,
Trust your Friends,
Follow the Stars…They will Guide you
May the Stars be a Light for you when all other Lights go out
Life is like a Novel…

Despair Comes Knocking
When despair comes knocking
There’s no one home
Gone out shopping
And not alone
Despair comes knocking
Every damn week
I try not to care
But he still leaves me weak
But despair comes knocking
Every single day
I keep shooing him off
And sending him away
Despair comes knocking
But what does he want?
Is he here to stay?
Or just here to taunt?

You are My Teacher
If I should meet you
on the dusty road of life
Do not despair
for I am your teacher
If you should stumble
while crossing my muddy path
Do not despair
for you are my teacher
If we should cry alone
and falter in hurricane winds
Do not despair
for they are our teachers
If our souls should meet again
with tattered and worn-out shoes
Do not despair
for we have not learned

Gen Despair
Despair -
When hope is snuffed out like a guttering candle.
Despair -
When hope is sadistically excised with surgical precision.
Despair -
When hope is torn from a half-living body in huge gobbets
By rapacious beaks and ravening teeth.
Despair -
When hope is annihilated.
