This Present Crisis
I'm afraid this one is past its sell by date, but if you can think yourself back to Christmas 2008, when I wrote it, you might just be able to appreciate it.
Santa's had to lay off all the elves,
And the dust is taking over on Santa's toyshop shelves.
If you want presents this Christmas, you'll have to buy 'em all yourselves,
Because Santa's had to lay off all the elves.
Santa's had bad luck in large amounts;
Lost nearly all his money in Icelandic bank accounts.
When he stood before the debtors' court and the verdict was pronounced,
He said 'There won't be any Christmas cheer now all my cheques have bounced'.
Santa had to cancel Christmas lunch;
When he failed to pay the elves, they polished off all his rum punch.
He can't afford the carrots that the reindeer like to munch,
And the banks won't lend him anything on account of the credit crunch.
The bailiffs came and took everything away,
The last few sacks of toys and things and even Santa's sleigh.
You can lie awake and listen, but no matter what they say,
You won't hear any jingle bells this year on Christmas Day.
The snow on the ground may glisten, as the choir sings a roundelay,
But you won't hear the sound of jingle bells this year on Christmas Day.
There may be a few things missing, but hark what the angels say:
The divine gift has been given, that's the point of Christmas Day.
There may be a few things missing, as there were on that far-off day,
When a baby was born in a stable and laid in a manger of hay.
It's the chance for a new beginning, so cast all your cares away,
And join with the choir in singing of the joy of Christmas Day.
There may be a few things missing, but Jesus is here to stay,
Which is why we all send you our wishes for a joyful Christmas Day.
In dolce jubile.
Have a happy Christmas Day.

Christmas Comes
Christmas comes with children singing,
Christmas comes with sleigh bells ringing,
Christmas comes with frosty nights,
Christmas comes with snowball fights.
Christmas comes with Santa Claus,
Christmas comes with snowy floors,
Christmas comes with robins and reindeer,
Chsitmas comes with a hearty cheer.
Christmas comes with gold, frankincense and myrrh,
Christmas comes with Jesus' birth,
Christmas comes with angels from afar,
Christmas comes with a wondrous star.
Christmas comes now, at last,
Christmas comes, like in the past,
Christmas comes after such a long wait,
Christmas comes and it will be great.

Christmas without you
Baby you know its true
Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
I don't care about gifts or anything new
Cause Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
its just not Christmas without you...
Christmas day is near
I still wish you were here
I've been walking around
all over this town
the darkness of theses nights
are scared away with Christmas lights
that remind me of when I was a little boy
and all I wanted was that special toy
now its about my family and its joy
with nights colder than Atlanta
We got milk and cookies for Santa
you can even hear the carolers sing
sounds perfect but missing one thing
And baby You know its true
Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
I don't care about gifts or anything new
Cause Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
its just not Christmas without you...
we've got six inches of snow
and people kissing under the mistletoe
nights that feel so slow
and the days so long
everything's right but so wrong
kids in bed earlier than all year
waiting for Santa and his reindeer
Kids hoping this year they get all the right things
they run downstairs as soon as the alarm rings
the gifts are under the tree
but I still want you next to me
And baby You know its true
Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
I don't care about gifts or anything new
Cause Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
its just not Christmas without you...

Alll I Want For Christmas Is You
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There's just one thing I need
I don't care about presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true...
All I want for Christmas
Is you...
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don't care about presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I don't need to hang my stocking
There upon the fireplace
Santa Claus won't make me happy
With a toy on Christmas day
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you...
You baby
I won't ask for much this Christmas
I won't even wish for snow
I'm just gonna keep on waiting
Underneath the mistletoe
I won't make a list and send it
To the North Pole for Saint Nick
I won't even stay awake to
Hear those magic reindeer click
'Cause I just want you here tonight
Holding on to me so tight
What more can I do
Baby all I want for Christmas is you
You...
All the lights are shining
So brightly everywhere
And the sound of children's
Laughter fills the air
And everyone is singing
I hear those sleigh bells ringing
Santa won't you bring me the one I really need
Won't you please bring my baby to me
Oh I don't want a lot for Christmas
This is all I'm asking for
I just want to see baby
Standing right outside my door
Oh I just want him for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
Baby all I want for Christmas is
You

Hey Santa
If everyday was christmas
If we could make believe
If everyone would care a little more
Thered be harmoney
The city is covered in snow tonight
The children fast asleep
Im waiting for him, but hes nowhere in sight
And I wonder if he can hear me
Hey santa
Hey santa...santa
I wish with all my might
Hey santa
Hey santa...santa
Bring my baby home tonight
Why does it feel like its colder than winter
Even by the fireside
My baby said hed be home for christmas
And now its almost midnight
The christmas lights up and down the street
Are such a sight to see
But all the presents by the tree
They dont mean a thing till hes with me
Hey santa
Hey santa...santa
I wish with all my might
Hey santa
Hey santa...santa
If you hear me wont you hurry
Bring my baby tonight
I know your sleigh is full inside
But wont you stop and give my baby a ride
Ill be waiting by candle light this christmas
The christmas lights up and down the street
Are such a sight to see
But all the presents by the tree
They dont mean a thing
Santa please hear me
Hey santa
Hey santa...santa
I wish with all my might
Hey santa
Hey santa...santa
If you hear me wont you hurry
Bring my baby tonight
The christmas lights up and down the street
The presents by the tree
I hear a knock, oh can it be?
My wish is staring back at me
Hey santa
Hey santa...santa
I guess you heard me tonight
Hey santa
Hey santa...santa
Im underneath the mistletoe
With my baby tonight
Sleigh ride...
Its christmas time...

(Love) From a Snowy Balcony in My Mind
Whether it be a sun-sparkle shine
Or a blizzard bleak grey,
Upon my frozen roses
Springs this Christmas Day,
Whether or not snow babies
Ever come out to play,
Drifting, lifting over North Pole Bay.
Whether or not my lights are up
To bright the winter way,
This, for me,
Is still Christmas Day.
Whether or not Rudolph Reindeer is there
To help guide Santa's sleigh,
Or my jingle bell chimes
Cease and refuse to sway
Or my Christmas Tree angel
Decided to take fly away,
This, for me,
Is still Christmas Day.
How without these things
Can I have my Christmas, you say?
Without my bells and presents
And the usual merry and gay?
Because one day when I wake,
Here you will lay,
Even if I lost everything else
You make my Christmas Day.

Santa Claus Lane
I remeber last Christmas Eve
Something happened that I couldn't believe
I went for a walk as the snow came down
And when it stopped I was in a different town
And the sign said have no fear; your not lost your here!
Walk in this Christmas
Down santa claus lane
No need to wonder
No need to explain
Just have soime faith in what you see
Your right here where you wanna be
Walk in this Christmas
Down santa claus lane
Down Santa Claus Lane
Elves were standing in the street
Snow men and reindeer came out to greet
Silver bells chimed frim far away
As santa rode by on an open sleigh
And he told me have no fear
Your not lost

Here Comes Santa Claus
(words & music by autry - haldeman)
Here comes santa claus, here comes santa claus,
Right down santa claus lane.
Vixen, blitzen, all his reindeer
Pulling on the reins.
Bells are ringing, children singing,
All is merry and bright.
Hang your stockings and say a prayer,
'cause santa claus comes tonight.
Here comes santa claus, here comes santa claus,
Riding down santa claus lane.
He's got a bag that's filled with toys
For boys and girls again.
Hear those sleigh bells jingle jangle,
What a beautiful sight.
Jump in bed and cover up your head,
Because santa claus comes tonight.
Here comes santa claus, here comes santa claus,
Riding down santa claus lane.
He doesn't care if you're a rich or poor boy,
He loves you just the same.
Santa knows that we're god's children,
That makes everything right.
Fill your hears with christmas cheer,
'cause santa claus comes tonight.
Well, here comes santa claus, here comes santa claus,
Riding down santa claus lane.
He'll come around when the chimes ring out
It's christmas morn again.
Peace on earth will come to all
If we just follow the light
Let's give thanks to the lord above,
'cause santa claus comes tonight.
'cause santa claus comes tonight

Christmas Cookies
Chorus:
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, sugar
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
The ones that look like Santa Claus
Christmas trees, and bells, and stars
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
Now Christmas cookies are a special treat
The more she bakes the more I eat
And sometimes I can't get myself to stop
Sometimes she'll wait till I'm asleep
And she'll take the ones I didn't eat
And put those little sprinkly things on top
Chorus:
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, sugar
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
The ones that look like Santa Claus
Christmas trees, and bells, and stars
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
Now those sprinkly things just makes things worse
Cause it makes them taste better than they did at first
And they're absolutely impossible to resist
Some disappear to who knows where
But I make sure I get my share
And those kids just stand there waiting for the ones I miss
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, sugar
Sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
She gets mad that they're all gone
Before she gets the icing put on
Sure do like those Christmas cookies babe
Now there's a benefit to all of this
That you might have overlooked or missed
So now let me tell you the best part of it all
Every time she sticks another batch in the oven
There's 15 minutes for some kissin' and'a huggin'
That's why I eat Christmas cookies all year long!
Ah, Take it away boys
--- Instrumental ---
Chorus:
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, sugar
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
The ones that look like Santa Claus
Christmas trees, and bells, and stars
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe...

Chrismas Spirit
Put up a splash of Christmas
spirit
Put in a dash of love
Stir up the sounds ‘till you can
hear it
Sing out to those you love
Christmas, Christmas, you can fill
me
Up with Christmas cheer
Christmas, Christmas, you fulfill
my
Spirit every year
Toss up a mash of extra magic
Toss in a batch of love
Let up the lights with random
logic
Look out for sleighs above
Santa, Santa, can I have it
Please I’ve been so good
Santa, Santa, please I beg you
Please oh if you would
Get up a clash of Christmas color
Get in a catch of love
Set up and show the shiny decor
Shout out with Christmas love
Listen, listen, you can see it
Spirit everywhere
isten, listen, you can do it
Spread it out and share
Put up a splash of Christmas
spirit
Put in a dash of love
Stir up the sounds ‘till you can
hear it
Sing out to those you love
Christmas, Christmas, you can fill
me
Up with Christmas cheer
Christmas, Christmas, you fulfill
my
Spirit every year

When The Snow Comes Down In Tinseltown
Dear Santa,
I live in Hollywood
But it's not like in the movies
Where Christmas is always snowy white
On my list is just one wish
That it would snow tonight
Oh when the snow comes down
Oh in Tinseltown
On Christmas Eve you will believe
When The Snow Comes Down In Tinseltown
You close your eyes
And to your surprise
You see the reindeer fly
As choir's singing
Fa la la la la
Go walking by
You're singing and a ringing right along
With the church bells in the air
It seems so real
That you can feel
The snowflakes in your hair
Oh when the snow comes down
Oh in Tinseltown
On Christmas Eve you will believe
When The Snow Comes Down In Tinseltown
In the morning
When you awake
Your face all shining bright
And when you look outside
You see the palm trees
Dressed in white
Oh when the snow comes down
Oh in Tinseltown
On Christmas Eve you will believe
When The Snow Comes Down In Tinseltown
Dear Santa,
Thank you
Thankyou for that perfect Christmas Day
Gliding down the streets of Hollywood
In a one horse open sleigh
Oh when the snow comes down
Oh in Tinseltown
On Christmas Eve you will believe
When The Snow Comes Down In Tinseltown

Santa's On His Way
(David Anthony)
Christmas is always my favorite time of year
Sleighbells ringin', jingle lingin'
Christmas time is near
Can't wait to build a snowman
And play outside all day
Nothing could be better
I gotta write a letter
Santa's on his way
Christmas time is always
A special time of year
A time for joy and happiness
And lots of Christmas cheer
Can't wait to decorate the tree
That we brought home today
Nothin' could be better
I gotta write a letter
Santa's on his way
--- Instrumental ---
(Christmas time is always)
(A special time of year)
(A time for joy and happiness)
(And lots of Christmas cheer)
So have a very Merry Christmas
And a jolly happy day
Nothin' could be better
I gotta write a letter
Santa's on his way
Santa's on his way
Santa's on his way...

Christmas Is Coming
Christmas is coming
Yes, it's that time of year
When Jesus was born
May we all standup and cheer
Christmas is coming
To every house and every town
So bring on the smiles
And wipe away those frowns
Christmas is coming
And presents will be all around
Santa will fill childrens dreams
Without ever making a sound
Christmas is coming
May the snow bring you delight
But watch out for those reindeer
If you're out christmas night
Christmas is coming
May your hearts fill with cheer
As you sit back and think
All you've accomplished this past year
Christmas is coming
May that spirit of love never end
As you spend your time
Among your family and friends
Christmas is coming
May all your dreams come true
And now if I might say
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU

Childs Christmas
Children's Christmas
Wee loved ones so sincere,
Their happy loving Christmas
Fill wee ones all good cheer.
Christmas fun starts straight away
When Christmas tree, decorations
Show Christmas on the way,
Oh thoughts of Santa on the sleigh
Little thoughts just can not wait
To be on Christmas day.
As we adults think us back on time
To blissful happy childhood ways,
Well we know our childhood days
Filled us in our realms,
And every coming Christmas
Filled us in our dreams.
Christmas eve dreams kids to sleep
Wee heads sleep pillow Christmas glow,
Sweet dreams see Father Christmas
Come reindeer through the snow,
Christmas morning church bell chimes
Ring church bell Christmas sounds,
Little feet jump out of bed
Think Santa been his rounds,
And quickly rush to find their toys
All through Christmas day
Wee hearts just fill in joys,
Every Christmas day the same
Sure look next time and see,
Look wee darlings through their eye
To see all happy full of glee.
And this our children's Christmas
Wee blessed ones so sincere,
Happy loving Christmas
That comes us once a year.

Santa Can You Hear Me?
Oh Yah..
Last Night I Took A Walk In The Snow,
Couples Holding Hands Places To Go,
Seems Like Everyone But Me Is In Love,
Santa, Can You Hear Me?
I Signed My Letter That I Sealed With A Kiss,
I Sent It Off And Just Said This,
I Know Exactly What I Want This Year,
Santa, Can You Hear Me?
I Want My Baby, Baby
I Want Someone To Love Me,
Someone To Hold,
And Maybe, Maybe,
He'll Be All My Own,
With A Big Red Bow
[Chorus]
Santa Can You Hear Me?
I Have Been So Good This Year,
And All I Want Is One Thing,
Tell Me My True Love Is Here,
He's All I Want,
Just For Me,
Underneath My Christmas Tree,
I'll Be Waiting Here,
Santa That's My Only Wish This Year.
oooooh yah...yah, yah,
Christmas Eve I Just Can't Sleep,
Would I Be Wrong For Taking A Peek?
'Cause I Heard That You're Coming To Town,
Santa Can You Hear Me?
I Really Hope That You're On Your Way,
With Something Special For Me In Your Sleigh,
Oh Please Make My Wish Come True,
Santa Can You Hear Me?
I Want My Baby, Baby
I Want Someone To Love Me,
Someone To Hold,
And Maybe, Maybe,
We'll Be All Alone Under The Mistletoe.
[Chorus]
Santa Can You Hear Me?
I Have Been So Good This Year
And All I Want Is One Thing,
Tell Me My True Love Is Here,
He's All I Want,
Just For Me,
Underneath My Christmas Tree,
I'll Be Waiting Here,
Santa That's My Only Wish This Year..
I Hope My Letter Reaches You In Time,
Bring Me Love I Can Call All Mine,
Cuz I Have Been So Good (so good this year )
Can We Be All Alone Under The Mistletoe,
He's All I Want In A Big Red Bow,
[Chorus]
Santa Can You Hear Me?
I Have Been So Good This Year,
And All I Want Is One Thing,
Tell Me My True Love Is Here,
He's All I Want,
Just For Me,
Underneath My Christmas Tree,
I'll Be Waiting Here,
Santa That's My Only Wish This Year..
Oooh Santa
Can You Hear Me? Ooooh
Oh Santa..
He's All I Want,
Just For Me,
Underneath My Christmas Tree,
I'll Be Waiting Here,
Santa That's My Only Wish This Year,
Santa That's My Only Wish This Year.

Christmas Just Ain't Christmas Without You
Don't you know
It always happens
Same time every year.
Snow flakes and heartaches
And that lonesome Christmas chill
I keep going through emotions
Hiding from the truth (oh yes I do)
Don't you know that Chritmas
Just ain't Christmas without you.
You know Christmas
Hasn't been the same
Since the day you left.
I still send you
Real tight greetings
Hoping someday
You might forget
I try to hold up tradition
Do all the things we used to do (oh yes I do)
But you know that Christmas
Just ain't Chritmas without you.
'Cause all are having Silent night
Memories of how we used to be (yeah)
And all would come back to my world
If you just let Santa bring
Your sweet love home to me.
There's a season
To be happy
But Lord, Lord I feel so blue
'Cause girl Christmas
Just ain't Christmas without you.
(help me...)
--- Instrumental ---
There's a season
To be happy now
But Lord, I feel so blue
Because Christmas
Just ain't Christmas
You know Christmas
Just ain't Christmas
You know Christmas
Just ain't Christmas without you...

christmas comes with decoration of trees
christmas comes with church bell ringing
christmas comes with new year

and collecting
and goes with nothing

Blue Poetry Christmas Without You
Egg nogg on the table for just one
Christmas tree lighted only one to see it
Bought all these presents no one to open them
Halls empty with christmas lights all hung
Missing your hand when we use to touch
This christmas is so empty inside to me
Got my family but no woman beside me
Drinking hot coca by the snow out front
All by myself thinking if rain deer could really fly
Santa claus on the roof top
Its lonely wearing this santa claus hat
All by myself all over again
I have a blue poetry christmas without you
It won't be the true real christmas
Missing you looking at presents under the tree
Poetry christmas while talking with family
No you by my side so I hide my feelings
Christmas tree so lighted with christmas lights
Missing you inside my heart
Santa claus asked me what do you want for christmas
To only be next to her drinking coca when christmas shows are on
Under the mistletoe we kissing together
Ding ding ding dong ding ding dong
I will have a blue poetry christmas without you.
