When I think of you
I close my eyes and imagine
holding you in my arms.
I get so lost in my thought
that I feel your touch,

When I dream of you,
the dream is so real
that I never want to wake up.
But I do wake up and I realize
that touch was again,

How I long to feel your touch,

At Cape Point

As I drive past Cape Point
and the winter rain sieves down,
I see the track going up the hill
and see walking up the slope
my girlfriend and I
on a long gone summer’s day.

Her smile was like the sun
and the tranquillity
as we walked up the hill
is with me still and what we said
does not matter at all

and at the top we looked
at the great rollers of the sea
where two oceans
and two strong currents meet
and saw huge waves crashing below

and through the telescope
we watched a liner sailing bye
and the wind ruffled her hair
and only the two of us were there
my girlfriend and I

and as feelings go
never have I felt a thing like that
and was the great world
as lovely as just then
and now I would give almost anything
to be back there
while my solitude
is giving way to loneliness.

What do you want from me?
Max's wife said

and he looked by her
at the waitress

at the cafe
who was walking

with some order
behind his wife's back

and he noticed
the cute ass as she moved

the way she swayed
and the hands

holding the tray
huh? What is it

you want from me?
his wife repeated

her eyes peering at him
taking in

that aspect of him
as he turned his head

look said Max
following the waitress

to the table across the way
his eyes slowly

undressing her
his mind making up scenes

like in some movie
you say come on Honey

let's go out for a meal
and talk

and what are you doing
looking elsewhere

Stellar objects in the sky,
Brighter and visible to naked eyes,

And I Was Moved

They came running down the road
like something resembling
a stampeding Buffalo herd.
“There he is! ” Someone shouted.
I looked around to see
whom they were shouting about,
but there was no one, only me.
I looked again as the pens came out.
“Let’s get his autograph! ”
And I was moved,
moved so much I started to run
towards them, arms open wide.
And I was moved again,
being carried along by the herd.
“It is him! It’s Robbie Williams! ”
Now who the heck is he?
I though it was Dodgy Dave’s autograph they wanted,
