The Tiger
Trinity School girls' varsity soccer team won their first NY state championship despite some injuries to their best players.
With injured paw she spies the prey.
It's time to feed - she's come to slay.
Yet primal traits cannot convey,
her sense of destiny today.
The task is deadly - not for fun.
Could she actually be outrun?
But like a bullet from a gun,
she pounces and the deed is done.

Water Prize
The girls varsity swimming team at Trinity High School in NYC has just completed an undefeated season and won the All-Ivy meet. This is dedicated to their excellent coach and team.
Water, water everywhere - but not the kind to drink;
the arid lands of Trinity sports forces one to think:
will we find the focus, so truly we can say,
'we give our all at every practice, every meet, on every day...'
Or are we disconnected and slightly out-of-sync?
On the stormy sea of swimming, an ardent coach supplies,
a simple set of precepts that to life and sports applies.
Hard work! performance! who can get the win? !
Focus on the present; forget the might-have-been.
And thus achieve the greatness, of capturing the Prize.

By analogy, if we were to develop a soccer team, then we would not invite basketball and volleyball players to the try outs. We would invite soccer players to apply.

So Any Team As Such
Though Brazil has the class and Brazil has the flair
Who wins the F I F A World cup i can't say i much care
'Tis more about Nationalism than 'tis about sport
So any team as such i do not support.
The top soccer players are paid millions a year
And stories of their greatness we are obliged to hear
Millions in money for just chasing a ball
It hardly does seem for to make sense at all.
When people are homeless and dying of hunger every day
Yet many spend their savings watching millionaires play
For selves, Nation and glory in the World's biggest game
Many find satisfaction in other people's fame.
If the money they spent on creating millionaires
And making small gods of renowned soccer players
Was spent on the people of assistance in need
To a better life for millions that surely would lead.
Brazil has the class and Brazil has the skill
But millions go hungry in poor old Brazil
And 'tis more about Nationalism than 'tis about sport
So any team as such i do not support

I'm not trying to get back on a team, but I have tried to stay in shape just in case a team needs a point guard. A championship team. I wouldn't go to any other team.

But the equipment to protect the players hasn't developed along with that, so now you have more players out with worse injuries, for longer periods of time.

We played soccer a lot with our friends and at school. We weren't on an official team or anything, but we'd definitely be up for it in gym or in after-school pickup games where we live.

I Entreat You, Alfred Tennyson
I entreat you, Alfred Tennyson,
Come and share my haunch of venison.
I have too a bin of claret,
Good, but better when you share it.
Tho' 'tis only a small bin,
There's a stock of it within.
And as sure as I'm a rhymer,
Half a butt of Rudeheimer.
Come; among the sons of men is one
Welcomer than Alfred Tennyson?

Dont Go & Put A Bullet In Your Head
Yeah,
(thank you jesus for the song)
Hey, hey hey hey...
Dont do it, dont do it
Dont go and put a bullet in your head
Just turn your life around instead
Dont go and put a bullet in your head
Im gonna get it
But workin nine to five just doesnt let it
I feel Im wastin time and I regret it
Cant even feed my kids and my wife
Oh Im longing to find it
A taste of the sweeter life oh my
Only takes a little time
( no dont do it )
Dont go and put a bullet in your head
Just turn your life around instead
Dont go and put a bullet in your head
Oh my oh my
Aint got no credit
Cant even pay my rent
Where will I get it ?
Theres a liquor store right down the block Ill get it
Cant even feed the pain in my heart
Oh Im longing to find
( Im longing to find )
A piece of the bigger pie, oh my
( a different kind )
Only it takes a little time
( a little time )
(no dont do it)
Dont go and put a bullet in your head
Just turn your life around instead
Dont go and put a bullet in your head
Oh my oh my oh my ...
Dont go and put a bullet in your head
Just turn your life around instead
Dont go and put a bullet in your head
Put a bullet in your head, oh my
Oh my, put a bullet in your head, oh my
Dont go and put a bullet in your head
Just turn your life around instead
Dont go and put a bullet in your head
Oh my, oh my oh my.

You've got to be extremely careful, because you could be with a great team, and you could be the product of a great team. There are some players that stand out despite the teams that they play on, and there are some players that are good because of the team that they're with.

Joie De Vivre
We must know where our kids are at all the time
And protect them from danger
We must teach them not to talk to strangers
Joie de vivre
The kids are part of our family
We raise them from babies to adult
Sometimes we wish they would grow up fast
Sometimes we wish they never grew up
They do things that drive their parent crazy at times
Joie de vivre
It is important that they socialize with kids of their own age group
On the weekends it is time to get the family together
Dad’s drive there kids to soccer games
They cheer for there soccer team
When there soccer team wins it is a celebration
All the dad’s scream of joy
Dad’s are proud of there kids achievement

The Leviathan: Far, Far Down In The Freezing Deeps
(after Alfred Lord Tennyson)
Far, far down in the freezing deeps
where icy water continually over it sweeps
its arms twirls and its body is like a mass of rock
where it for centuries sleeps
and in the dark world below
it lies like a prehistoric monster as if in its grave
while the waves and hidden streams over it flows
and above it break wave upon wave
where it is silent since the devastating flood
hardly notices the waters rush,
while very slowly flows its lifeblood
and it lays waiting in ambush
until the day that Michael returns to earth
to erupt above the waters as if coming from new birth
as a gigantic monstrous thing
with multiple heads and fiery beaks that swing.
