The Softness Inside
The softness wavers
that is deep inside.
It teeters and wobbles
it just wants to hide;
From moments like these
when hardness breaks,
when a shard slips through
and softness awakes.
And then hope's shard
with all its might,
could just forge through
and show me light.

Spenserian Sonnet-I wait the ocean waves to wash my soul
My heart races touching your deep Spirit's kiss,
My tear's curb crumbles greening my shrink cry.
The softness of your voice soothes my abyss.
My soul torn apart wondering to know why.
Wrong thoughts and so cruel wait my tears and cry
The terrors of love just give them a black yard
And my loneliness makes my sad soul to dye
When to sink my reality it's very hard.
I wait my hope which will never come to guard
This hope hunger squeezes tighter my soul's knee.
I'm clinging to the past which is like a shard
That part which is still alive inside of me.
Much more confused on how to think or feel,
I talk, I dream and I am your balance wheel.

The shard of glass in the London sky.
I'm standing by the John Keats statue,
Thinking if only he had eyes,
The sights he would have seen,
Since dark evolving times,
The crane it moves
so gently
forming shadows over walls,
they weep with discolour,
only moss upon the grooves.
the bell, O how it hollers
in a tired crackled voice,
like an old man with regret,
but the old man has no choice.
The clunks and sounds of crashes
as the Shard does rise,
gazing over London
absorbing all its life.
So when your next at London,
Remember these last lines,
The Shard it will be watching,
The shard has open eyes.

I've been Hacked! ! !
i've been hacked, hacked
cut, cutting
my gentle words
my kind heart
HE cut my fingers my ideas too
in a crowd of sad poets
Made me me in pieces
try to speak for me
For some
For all of us! !
He has no ideas to cut
He has no talent to cut
He has only a hacked soul
he does not know what love is
And LOVE is our task
Because Poet we are! ! !
Shard of blurry glass he is
Shard of limpid crystal we are! ! !

My Blindness & Warts
I saw in your eyes
A kindness of sorts.
Just be advised
Of my blindness and warts.

An Iota
I know I’ll push back
what you push through.
It’s just who I am.
It’s just what I do.
So there’s no need to care
an iota for me.
You’d just waste your time
and I’ll always flee.

Madness #3
hardness and softness,
plunge, and hold back;
darkness without asking,
the sun comes without tracks.
hammer and tongue,
words too real to speak;
at the end of the world,
where time and timeless meet!

Mozart Overture
this is quite different from
a trance
the music that curled in my sleep
on that soft blue sofa
foam, cotton, kapok softness
on my head some notes of
a lullaby
some notes getting into
my ears and my nostrils
a deep sleep
inhaling
this overture is quite different
it is the rising from this deep sleep of
kapok,
foamy softness
i rise and
stretch my hands to the ceiling
i wake up and
i hear
the notes come again like
dripping morning rain
from the nipa roof
falling on
some white pebbles
on my pavement
like my tears

Softness with CanDy...
CanDy.....?
serve softness into
the twilight of stars that slide down rainbows
enrich softness warmed in a Milky Way
spiral sourced to promote dreamer’s significance
arouse the writer in waiting with inspired insights
to slip softness onto the glossary indescribable
as hmmmmmmmmmmmmmms and oooooooohhss and
arrrrrrrrrssssssssssssssssss hhhhuuu hhhhuuu hhhhh
Mneeennmmm ooooooooaaaahhhh
encompass softness in the word press of marshmallows
laid out as my mattress with fingers in alabaster coatings
to touch radiance against skins paleness
find softness in rainchecks raised as protectiveness
in the lightness of umbrella’s shield like warrior
against eccentric meltdowns or ozone holes
and then… CanDy be allowed… to
feather stroke in nimbleness my body to yours
so that every heart beat disappears to travel
continuance time clocked as period bells
sounding colour pastels uniqueness
imprinted as passion scent expressions
that can equal no other experience
in a safety warp of no regrets...

Case Hardened for Joe Poewhit
A macho man must strut his stuff.
Because he lacks the sense to see
That any man who’s man enough
Can let his feelings show freely
Secure in his identity
He does not care what other say
about his masculinity.
He chooses to go his own way.
But macho men feel they must hide
behind a shield of bravado
But deep inside they’re terrified
that other people get to know.
Their attitude is self defence
their bravado is all pretence

Just Not True
(carly simon)
You stick to me when I wish you gone
You hammer on my thoughts through dreams
Your plot is thick with saucy schemes
And ways to reach my balconies
But I say Im not turned on by the way you look
I say Im not turned on by the way you act
Im not turned on when you tell me that you need me
But sometimes, just sometimes
You can see the softness in my eyes
And you know, its just not true
Youre in my blood, a holy ghost
I scream, but its a hollow plea
The thoughts I swallow leave me thirsty
You do a very fine imitation of me
And I say Im not turned on by the way you laugh
Im not turned on by the way you smile
Im not turned on when you tell me that you love me
But sometimes, just sometimes
You can see the softness in my eyes
And you know, its just not true
And I say Im not turned on by the way you dance
Im not turned on my the way you laugh
Im not turned on when you need me
But sometimes, just sometimes
You can see the softness in my eyes
And you know, its just not true.

My.....
My fragility is not differ from yours
I am more delicate or more sensitive
my debilities not reside on my body, in you
your fragility too!
My weakness is my heart wild
In the same compass
who beats in yours
your weakness too!
My softness is shield in my chest
the return of your echoes
that was blowing up in yours
your softness too!
Thanks to you
Thanks to us
for so many imperfection
All my, all your, all ours! ! ! !

Let Our Knuckles Touch
Let our knuckles touch.
In ball fisted softness.
Once flung prepared to land a punch.
But not today.
This is a way we show we can be brothers.
Some sisters do this too.
And let our eyes stop rolling in our heads,
Like dice ready to shoot!
Let us fix our gaze.
And remove the pouts from our lips.
Experience our beauty...
Let us do!
Unstead of our ugliness.
Since so many of us,
Can no longer afford this 'trip'.
Let our knuckles touch.
In ball fisted softness.
Or open up our arms...
To welcome an embrace!
'Gimme sum-a dees...
'for I go up side yo head! '

Natasha in the Snow
For Natasha Richardson 2009
Beneath the snow
lie rocks and stones
that have no surprises
but hardness.
Beneath the skull
lie blood and bone
that hide possibilities
in softness.
Two surfaces collide
in chance and time
spaces are filled
with the heaviness
and swell of blood
pressure pushing tight
Cranium restrictive
enclosed and held
brain coning
no oxygen drive
to breath
no ventricle beat
to pulse
Pupils fixed and dilated
no more response
no more subtle irony
nothing more
no-one.

Surfaces
at the surface it may be smooth
like varnished furniture
but then it is not the surface that really counts
the inner layer makes the difference
is it made of steel or plain wood?
what stuff are you made of?
what heart is there? what spleen?
softness of cotton absorbent to failures
the hardness of clay that cracks to heat

Afraid To Show What's Really Going On
how do you open up?
when you don't know how?
i mean where do you start?
people want to know what's going on,
how do you let them in?
can they be trusted?
for the way you feel?
just want to hide,
don't want to face it,
but you know you have to,
scared of what might happen,
but, is it for the best?
do we all need to reach out for help,
when we need it the most?
afraid to show your weakness,
because it just not you,
but, people you care about want in,
do you let them in?
even though you afraid they might be hurt,
about what you have to say?
but, so tired of it eating you up,
deep inside,
where it shouldn't even be,
because fear keeps me frozen,
from sharing what i'm going through,
will they understand?
can they come to an agreement?
i'm tiried of feeling alone in this,
will somebody help me through?
show me the way,
show me the light,
i want to be free,
but, instead i have so much holding me down,
i don't want to get judge,
i don't want to be bossed around,
what i want is to be able to not hide,
so much inside.

A Neighbor
you live in the clouds
below all these drifters
are the stones
flowers of the earth
children of the
chipped cliffs
we are the progeny
of the rocks
from our cracks
waters flow
thirsts are quenched
and strangers
spread the news about
us: from our hardness
and painless existence
comes out
the softness and kindness
of the waters
of this earth
you shift and gather
somewhere
soundlessly
looking down upon us
in the hardness of
our silenced
existence
you predict weathers
you tell us you own the rain
and the sun
we look forward
adapt to the changes
for one thing
we do not drift and gather
somewhere
still asking for the
correct directions
we are blind
and so we know what is within us
we have no other option
we are the stones
we ask no more
about those questions
neither do we keep those answers
we are here
we do not move
we do not blink
we welcome the moss
we are never tossed....
neighbor cloud
nebulous, oh how infamous
now, tumultuous
fatuous...

Nowhere To Hide
(eric carmen)
Lovers come and lovers go
But its never twice the same
Happiness is hard to show
When youre numb to all the pain
And Ive been floatin round
Like an old newspaper
Blowin down some windy street
Feeling so alone and incomplete
But theres nowhere to hide
Where the night cant find me
Where the light of the sun cant blind me
Like the light in a womans eyes
Theres nowhere to hide
From the dream that drives me
Like a fire burning deep inside me
Oh, I know shell be there tonight
Can the future be foretold
In a faded photograph
Can a dream be bought and sold
Well, I guess I have to laugh
Sippin on a scotch and soda
A shadow in the corner booth
So philosophic and drunk on grown-up truth
But theres nowhere to hide
Where the night cant find me
Where the light of the sun cant blind me
Like the light in a womans eyes
Theres nowhere to hide
From the dream that drives me
Like a fire burning deep inside me
Oh, I know shell be there tonight
Half-forgotten fragments
Of a high school dance
In the dead white hours of winter
When we loved so hard
That we thought it would never end
Tryin to remember
How it used to feel
When a kiss was something special
And I wonder now
Will it ever be again
But theres nowhere to hide
Where the night cant find me
Where the light of the sun cant blind me
Like the light in a womans eyes
Theres nowhere to hide
From the dream that drives me
Like a fire burning deep inside me
Oh, I know shell be there tonight
Lovers come and lovers go
But its never twice the same
Happiness is hard to show
When youre numb to all the pain
And Ive been floatin round
Like an old newspaper
Blowin down some windy street
Feeling so alone and incomplete
But theres nowhere to hide
Where the night cant find me
Where the light of the sun cant blind me
Like the light in a womans eyes
Theres nowhere to hide
From the dream that drives me
Like a fire burning deep inside me
Oh, I know shell be there tonight
Yes, I know shell be there tonight

In 2 Deep
Everybody scatter
There's a madman on the run
Stumblin' through the wreckage
Like a blind man with a gun
Nowhere to hide
I'm in too deep
Can't see the light
'Cause I'm in too deep
Over my head
Caught up in a hurricane
That never seems to end
Hard to know the devil
When he looks like your best friend
Nowere to hide
I'm in too deep
Can't see the light
'Cause I'm in too deep
Over my head
Oh...I should have known
But I can't let go
'Cause I'm in too deep
Over my head
Oh...someone call somebody
The asylum's under siege
Inmates took a hostage
I'll be damned if it's not me
Nowhere to hide
'Cause I'm in too deep
Bury the light
'Cause I'm in too deep
Can't see the light
In too deep
Bury the light
I'm in too deep
I'm over my head
Over my head
