The Smith
What is this magic you do?
Taming the fire
Bending the earth
Making beauty from brute strength
Giving death a sharp edge
Creating in your mind and fire
Tools and everydays that
Humblefolk might live in peace
Making death and making life
With the same hammerblows
Are you a god or a man
Or the spirit of earth and fire
That men fear and love you, Smith

Where Is The Fire?
Where is the fire
That burnt in freedom fighters
Making them selfless
Dying for our independence
Where is the fire
That burnt in J.M and Ouko
And others who were felled
Making them love truth
For it, paying the ultimate price
Where is the fire
That burnt in the then leaders
Making them fearless
Suffering for multiparty politics
Where is the fire
That burnt in civil rights activists
The poor peoples defenders
And others who attended kamukunjis
Where is the fire
That burnt individualism
In dire times of crises
Where is the fire?

Planet On Fire
We are under the wire,
the planet is on fire.
Not only is the Earth’s core,
but surface at the shore.
Little do people know,
that the fire can
get out of control,
that they can go,
Disappear from here.
fire burning
for almost 50 years.
It’s in Pennsyvania the state,
Did you know the past fate?
The fire started
around the year 1962,
that’s when it started,
I believe to be true.
It’s coal under the ground.
that is where it is to be found.
Now google it today
and you will see the fire
is here to stay.
Unless we use clay
The resistant barrier in
which they made
then turned
into a mistake.
The barrier was partly
Incomplete,
making the fire continue
with more heat.
Now pray for mother Earth,
and for her new rebirth.
Pray for her in a good way,
with thoughts to keep us safe.

Fire on Your Finger
Fire on your finger,
Fire in your eye,
Fire in your spirit,
Fire that won’t die.
Fire in the bare bones of being,
Fire to uphold what’s right,
Fire in the heart of darkness,
Fire to fuel Love’s light.
Fire to burn but not consume,
Fire to learn and not assume,
Fire to live and give living room,
Fire to love and sing her tune.

A Vicious Cycle
Taking life and feeding death
a broken path, a fork in the road.
Screaming, beating, defeating,
not making any sense but still vital to life and death.
Whispering cruel thoughts, stealing breath
voicing once hidden intentions.
Taking life and feeding death.
Gentle heat, steadfast heart
killing death to take a chance on life every fourth.
Fighting, winning and losing,
not making any sense but still vital to life and death.
Encouraging and coaxing, giving life
pushing back the darkness until its turn to submit.
Taking death and making life.
Whipped around, a vicious cycle
full of life and death, each vital to survival.
Giving up, making a new start, taking a chance on something new
Still making no sense at all, but perhaps it's not ment to.
Degrading, crushing, Encouraging, freeing
Compromise, age, learning to wait.
Life and death, each vital to survival.

Given Over By God
Given over to a debased mind, while upon earth, iniquity they bind,
Rejecting the God of creation, they exchange Truth for imagination,
Pulling others into a darkened fray, that becomes darker every day,
As leaders, they’re spiritually amiss, leading men into a dark abyss.
Given over to an amoral slide, anything they want, won’t be denied,
Breaking all of God’s Moral Laws, creating in Truths, spiritual flaws,
And making all things even worse, for those still under God’s curse,
Telling many they too, are God, convincing all with a deceptive nod.
They’re enlightened by the dark, putting their minds in spiritual park,
Wooing many into a spiritual lull, they are endangering many a soul,
They report having a revelation, with a new twist on man’s salvation,
And to all people have been sent, with their New Age enlightenment.
From a frying pan of spiritual desire, they jump into the spiritual fire,
A fire that they believe is an illusion, much to the believer’s delusion,
But real delusion has only begun, upon those who reject God’s Son,
To be employed by the eternal liar, to draw many into the eternal fire.
What they sow, while upon the earth, will not be of any lasting worth,
And all they bind they won’t keep, when they see just what they reap,
For all they’ll reap is eternal death, upon their very last earthly breath,
Ending their darkened spiritual lives; seeing the Light of Jesus Christ.

Make Love Instead
For to win the war many must die and the dead forever dead
Forget about making war mate you should make love instead
For making love is very beautiful of love the poets do sing
It is better by far than making war as war is a horrid thing,
War only causes suffering and death and grief and fear
And when you talk to me about war I do not wish to hear
'Tis not for to fight and die in war the mother raises her boy
Love leads to peace and harmony in war there is no joy
Why instil hatred of others into your little son
And talk to him of warriors and battles fought and won
Talk to him instead of compassion and on how to forgive
And leave him to make up his own mind on how he ought to live
And when you talk to me of making war to you I can only say
Make love instead 'tis a joyful thing and give your thoughts of war away.

Dragon's Fire
What is held
In the dragons fire
Is it power
Or is it life
Burning down things
Making new things grow
Trees and grass
Falling to ash
Castles and knights
Arrows and swords
Weapons to kill
One another
Wings flap
In the sky
Noises coming
From afar
They are the noises
Of dragons roaring
Scaly bodies
Powerful claws
Teeth are still
Razor sharp
Blowing fire
From deep within
It is made
From there hearts
So what to see
Inside these yellow flames
Of the dragons fire

Fire of Freedom
Charcoal fire upon the shore recalls
that fire behind closed door, of love
betrayed; the fire of bitter courtyard,
preyed into heart that wished so much
to love, but could not find a way, to shove
fear out, and claim the right, to stand secure
and not demure, to sad and threatening taunts.
Charcoal fire upon the shore, that opens
now a brand new door, for love to capture
heart, and re-found life, to break the mold,
that captive hold, that cuts like knife through
all desire, to be what once we were, when we
knew not the One whose love our love reclaims,
who stands now free, of all death’s chains.
O blessed fire of Easter joy that burns
into the night of darkness, with new and
wondrous light, that warms the damp and
dreary path of sadness, bringing gladness and
new sight. For even though we sometimes doubt,
we know that life has conquered death in victory
shout, that burns the earth with fire of new life.

Fire Of Love
Fire of Love that burns and destroys,
Fire, fire that causes sufferings,
Infernal fire that curses,
Kills and causes death.
Broken-hearted, isolated and sad;
Mad, nerve-racking and humiliated.
Infernal fire that curses,
Fire of love that burns and destroys.
The torrential winds and waves
Have invaded and inundated the heaven.
Fire, fire that causes sufferings,
Kills and causes death.
Broken-hearted, isolated and sad.
Let me drown in the absinth.
Incarcerate me in the labyrinth
Mad, nerve-racking and humiliated.
Fire, fire that coagulates and bakes.
Fire of love that burns and destroys.
Stop right there! I no longer wish to suffer;
It is too early to die.
Sing thousand roosters! Ring thousand bells!
Fire of love, fire, fireworks
For the singing and humming youngsters
And the drugged and intoxicated militiamen.
Fire of love that burns and destroys.
Often, it is sad to love too much.
Often, it is nice to dream.
Fire of love that sparkles and shines.
Fire of love that keeps hope alive.
Fire that lights up the road to Liberty.
Fire, fire that sparkles and brightens
The whole universe: the earth and the ocean.

Burning fire in side
Fire of deep desires taking out
Just with one of his hunting eye
Cribbling scribbling da words
Making a downtown east side
Givng sweet gestures to his way
Making world round round

Time of fire
This is a time of fire,
fire and flowers…
The flames tell their story
all night.
It is dark around
but the fire knows
we feel our way in the dark.
Fire that fills
the breathless hour
in the stillness of the night.
The fire’s spirit awoke,
you see the true beauty –
a red rose,
the beauty of the rose is magic…
This is a time of fire,
, fire and flowers…

Thunder Sword
Man did not fear man
But the hero fear death of hero
By the dangerous thunder sword
Thro his shine sword and bright eyes
That bends all head of tree with arm
Oh, thou spirit of thunder,
No sword no spear in his palm
But his hand sharp more than sword
And it killed more than fire
No man can face and defeat
Thro his molest fire of his mouth
The lightning echo on sky bewilder heart
And thunderbolts annoyed with mirror of man
Which no man can harm on earth.

Black History Month
In January...
There they are making history.
In February...
There they are making history.
In March...
There they are making history.
In April...
There they are making history.
In May...
There they are making history.
In June...
There they are making history.
In July...
There they are making history.
In August...
There they are making history.
In September...
There they are making history.
In October...
There they are making history.
In November...
There they are making history.
In December...
There they are making history.
But...
It's nice to know
The shortest month of the year
Was chosen to celebrate
The great deeds of African-Americans!
However...
It is those LEAP YEARS,
That really have the blacks jumping for joy!

Slit the wrist and let it flow.
Hate and pain, feelin’ it in my veins.
Hate and pain etched in my mind.
Love and hate are all the same,
Life and death are all our problems, but you treat them as there mine.
Slit the wrist and let it flow! !
Slit the wrist and let it flow! !
Life and death are all the same in my mind.
Life and death are all the same,
Play with fire and get burned.
Accusations flying my way, will they ever stop?
Slit the wrist and let it flow.
Slit the wrist and let it flow.
Life and death are all the same.
Life and death, when will it end?
Anger and frustration all boiling to the top.
Vengeance and Violence seems to be the only way.
Slit the wrist and let it flow! !
Slit the wrist and let it flow! !
Life and death, it’s all the same.
Life and death, is it my turn yet?
Death is living again.
Death is bliss I will never discover.
Slit the wrist and let it flow! !
Slit the wrist and let it flow! !
Life and death, it’s all the same.
Life and death, a new fire is born.
Death is an eternal fire being blown out.
Death is being free from the shackles of life.
Slit the wrist and let it flow! !
Slit the wrist and let it flow! !
Life and death, it’s all the same.
Life and death, it’s our destiny.
Death is the only escape.
Death is the forth stomach of a cow.

Im-Mortal
Dead and rotting like man
Immortal I am
An Eagles eye as far as i can see
destroyed by the masses
immortal to be
A sea of pain flushes over me
a nervous breakdown in me
The knowing of what to say
and the sun's rays
play two roles in my amends
Above a sea of fire and chaos
pain the only sound
my halo falls
falls to the ground
Dead and rotting like man
Immortal I am
The eagles eye can see farther than me
destroyed by masses
Immortal to be
And fire will rain and fill the sea
fire will rain...
reign over me
My skin feels like a suit
rip out my tongue
Making me mute
This fire is my master
making me see like a boy
a crippling disaster
No drug can numb this pain
no faith can break this grasp
but immortal i am.
dead and rotting like man
Immortal I am
Blinded at last
overpowered by fire
i cant...
The truth is, i am-Mortal
