The Seal

The ocean cold is it's home

Swimming all day it's livelihood

Slick fur black and mottled

Tossing and turning beneath the salty waves

Dark eyes glossy as chrome

Rolling and playing, making waves and foam

Laying in the sun on a raft of driftwood

Amongst the forest of seaweed they mingled

Exploring every nook of of a sea-cave

The ocean wide it's free to roam

I've Come Down to the Ocean

I've come down to the ocean;
The ocean great and wide,
Of pure blue span
And soft white sand
And the beach's crashing tide.

I've come down to the ocean;
The sea so black and queer
Of lightless dark
And fiercest shark,
Where even fearless fear.

I've come down to the ocean;
The waters I can't grasp,
Of strangest deep,
And sunless sleep,
Where the breathing may not gasp.

I've come down to the ocean;
To sing its sea-spray song,
Of salty brine
And waves that shine
Before I've been too long.

In My Wild Flights Of Fancy The Ocean I Can See

The blueness of the saltwater the white waves rolling free
In my wild flights of fancy the ocean i can see
The silver gulls and black backed gulls above the white beach cry
And the sun is shining brightly in the clear and sunny sky,
The children in the shallows they laugh and splash and run
In the coolness of sea water their way of having fun
On a pleasant day in Summer of 25 degrees
And there is a soothing freshness in the freshening ocean breeze,
The distinctive smell of the seaweed washed in by the last tide
A refuge from beach predators for tiny sea things to breed in and hide
Coastal people love the ocean and near the ocean they choose to stay
And in the coastal cemeteries their last remains do lay
The rumble of the ocean the white waves running free
And in my flights of fancy the sea is calling me.

Ocean

Here comes the ocean
And the waves down by the sea
Here comes the ocean
And the waves where have they been
Dont swim tonight my love, the sea is mad my love
Its known to drive men crazy
Malcolm has burned at sea, the castle it sits and reeks
The madness can make you hazy
But here come the waves
Down by the shore
Washing the rocks that have been here
Centuries or more
Down by the sea
Here come the ocean
And the waves down by the sea
Here comes the ocean
And the waves where have they been
Castles glowing at night, towers above out fright
Warlocks decapitating
Malcolm he lives on hate, serve your brain on a plate
Feasts on your mouth for dinner
But here come the waves
Down by the sea
Washing the eyes of the men
Who have died
Down by the sea
Here come the waves
Here come the waves
Here come the waves
Here come the waves

Cowtown

Im going down to cowtown
The cows a friend to me
Lives beneath the ocean and thats where I will be
Beneath the waves, the waves
And thats where I will be
Im gonna see the cow beneath the sea
The yellow roosevelt avenue leaf overturned
The ardor of arboreality is an adventure we have spurned, weve spurned
A new leaf overturned
Its a new leaf overturned
And so Im going down to cowtown
The cows a friend to me
Lives beneath the ocean and thats where I will be
Beneath the waves, the waves
And thats where I will be
Im gonna see the cow beneath the sea
We yearn to swim for home, but our only home is bone
How sleepless is the egg knowing that which throws the stone
Foresees the bone, the bone
Our only home is bone
Our only home is bone
And so Im going down to cowtown
The cows a friend to me
Lives beneath the ocean and thats where I will be
Beneath the waves, the waves
And thats where I will be
Im gonna see the cow beneath the sea
Yes Im going down to cowtown
The cows a friend to me
Lives beneath the ocean and thats where I will be
Beneath the waves, the waves
And thats where I will be
Im gonna see the cow beneath the sea
Yes Im gonna see (Im gonna see)
The cow (the cow)
Beneath the sea

Waves

From where come the waves
That beg and foam,
Call and plead
Rolling on never alone -
The sound and soul
Of the eternal sea,
In the spray upon the air
Come to fill a depth deep within me -
I hear and smell,
And become known;
Yet, knowing not the mystical
Flowing always, onward home -
Is this all in the great waters,
Or simply in how I see;
Are the waves the ocean
Or are the waves me?

Ocean

Here comes the ocean
And the waves down by the sea
Here comes the ocean
And the waves where have they been
Silver and black lit night, heres to a stealers night
An empty splendid castle
Glowering alone at night, the princess has had a fight
Madness seeks out a lover
And here come the waves
Down by the shore
Washing the soul of the body
That comes form the depth of the sea
Here comes the ocean
And the waves down by the sea
Here comes the ocean
And the waves where have they been
Dont swim tonight my love, the tide is out my love
Malcolms curse haunts our family
Odious loud and rich, ruler of filthy seas
Revel in heavens justice
And here come the waves
And save for a scream
Theres much like a song to be heard
In the wind that blows by the sea
Like the wind

The Ocean’s Power

The dark ocean waves,
clashing amongst each other,
above the ocean floor
that dose not have a bother

Not a worry in its nonexistent mind,
not a care, but only to its swimming friends,
but when a disaster strikes
the creatures will fear there world is at end

But not for any to fear,
the ocean has a special power,
a power that humans can not comprehend,
so unique it causes them to cower

The ocean releases its power to heal all,
to heal, from the dark waves to the ocean floor,
the process may take from days to centuries,
but when all is done, it is left for all to adore.

--------------------------------------------
Here comes the ocean
And the waves down by the shore
Here comes the ocean
And the waves down by the sea
Earth is a hollow hair bought of a bigger head
It nearly drives me crazy
I am a lazy son
I never get things down
...(unknown)
But here comes the waves
Down by the shore
Washing the eye of the land
That has been down by the sea
Down by the sea
Down by the sea
Down by the sea
Here comes the ocean and the waves
Down by the shore
Here comes the ocean and the waves
Down by the sea
(incense or in sex or insects) for evil thoughts, thought of by selfish men
It nearly drives me crazy
I am a lazy son
I never get things done
...(unknown)
Here comes the waves down by the shore
Washing the eye of the land that has been down by the sea
Down by the sea
Here come the waves
Here come the waves
Here come the waves

Down To The Sea

I went down to the sea
to wash my sins away

I went down to the sea
to cleanse myself of lusting after revenge
of guilt slinging
of lying when speaking
of not having the courage to speak the truth
of turning my back when I should have stood and faced things

I went down to the sea to wash my sins away
of neglect of others
of those I hated upon
cursed silently
of times I threw anger in someone's face
abused the weak
and those who couldn't fight back or whom were mute.

I went down to the ocean shore
to sink beneath the waves.

But the sea rejected me
sending me back
to make things right
laying me prone on the shore
amid the seaweed.

The ocean said

'My waters are pure
and cannot be despoiled by those
seeking to drown themselves in me.

No, come back after you have
made amends
and done the work you need to do
and then my sparkle waves
will greet you
as a child
who's come home
to play in my sweet eddies.

Come back after you have made yourself clean
and worthy of my ocean-tides
my river flows
my welcoming, swift currents.

You are made mostly of my waters
and then thus
coming back
we will be joined again
properly.

My Heart Is Like An Ocean

my heart is like an ocean
cold, dark, deep and black
with strange, dark, mysterious things
hidden in the depths

as men get lost at see
so does the rhythmic beatings of my heart
and like the waves of cold and salt wash over the sandy beaches
so of waves of sorrow and despair wash over my cold lifeless heart

my heart is like an ocean
cold, dark, deep and black
an as little creatures slowly eat away at the depths
so do my secrets, hopes and desires, eat away at he depths of my heart

Your Like A Ocean

Your eyes are like a ocean,
Your hiar is the waves that lift the ocean,
Your heart is the core of the animal ocean that feels it up with love for the lovely ocean
Your ful of emotion for your own ocean
Your smile just lights the ocean
By the night it calm and quite even the oceans getting so bright by the day and soul is quite
You will be mine tonight
Me and you can sit by the ocean and you are so close to a ocean as I can get and I love you just like a ocean me and you toghether and the ocean's flour will be your blanket for you.

Under The Grass

I look out at you
over the open blue sky
growing dark
when the sun
like an orange
what a ball
it glows red
and turning to you
saying i say
to you
i do not know
the sea
today
how the wind blows
will it blow
for me to speak
it says
and saying you say
as you want
me to say and we stay
salty water
and blowing the wind
blows as it must
my thoughts as the waves
are as small as the fish
swimming about
in between our toes
and swimming they swim
under the grass
as the waves
pull one back out
deep too sea.

The Ocean I know!

I know it to be true
That the ocean sea is blue

I know it to be true
The mountains compliment the ocean
The fountains supplement the ocean

I know it to be true
The ocean is extremely salty
Inhabited by fishes of various faculties

I know it to be true
The ocean is a source of food and minerals
Embellished with floors of pearls, shells and corals

I know it to be true;
That infinite battles have been fought
Across stormy tidal and calmly ocean waves
Where slaves have been sold and bought
With freedom won not merely by a simple handshake

I know it to be true;
That down below is an amazing picture
Of many a wonderful sea creature
That fishermen, endlessly try to capture

What about the water sports being featured?
Swimming, diving, boating, and waterskiing
All written excitingly in the oceans scripture

Still the ocean sometimes doesn’t know how to behave
When they come marching, those ginormous tidal waves!
All those present become a slave to its oceanic graves

And yet I know it to be true
If we shave all the water of the oceans carpet
Living will not be worth it on this planet!

I wish I drown into green sea
Where I play with waves
Back n forth wid fishes

Getting out of struggle of life
Giving the peace of mind
Making all impossibles possible
Where there r new wishes arising

Making old dreams com true
Where there r no ends
I wish i drown into green sea
Where noone can find me

Where I get eternal
Where waves go my side by side
When ocean is steady I walk
When ocean is in move I look at its vastnes n dance

Ocean Flow

Wave, and wave, and wave and current,
The sea keeps going and turning and churning.
From the currents to the waves, to the waves,
One to another, it flows, it flows.

Eternally spinning, turning, churning,
All men caught up in the undertow.
All men swimming, and swimming, and swimming,
Eternally caught up in the ocean flow.

Old Ocean

Old Ocean

They break up big boulders, near the houses where I live,
what I see used to be the bottom of an old ocean.
The stones break easily, pieces glitter as crystal in the sun.
I pick up a splinter, lick it and can taste the cool, clear sea.
My inner ear picks up the sea’s ripples on the strand, but
also, the contented hum of an ocean alone. I also hear its
ire as waves upon waves, futilely, crashes on to jagged
cliffs of perpetuity. Overcome by awe I’ve tasted eternity,
It’s salty; and if you get too obsessed about it, can give you
fatally high blood pressure.

Ocean of love

Locked in warm embrace
Two bodies knitted together
Hands touching
Bodies touching
Lips touching
Not wanting to be separated

Oh, the waves
Just like the waves
Of the ocean, deep clear blue
Swelling and swelling
And getting to its peak
Crashing so suddenly

It is such an ecstasy
That only two warm bodies
Can produce, swimming
Swimming in the ocean of love
Two hearts joined together

Two heart beats, beating in unison
With waves of emotion
Deep in the crevices
Until you can wait no more
And you go deeper

Until you are translated
Into the cloud
Where you are
And you cannot wait
You cannot wait

And you pant
Faster and faster
Gasping for breath
Swallowed up
In the ocean of love

Amidst, amidst

Amidst, amidst
Amidst the waves
The ocean-waves that sparkle on the pilot sea
And glisten in the night to dancing forms
Of elfin size in silent prancing lost.

Aloft, aloft
My soul I have let go
That it may find at last
Its home, the yearning-prize
Wherein it must go now:
The ocean-sea that sparkles in the night.

I hear the chains cut
I hear the pains fall
I hear my dress of breath
Fall in the channel sea, beyond the straits
Where the wide Ocean beckons and awaits:
Where the wide night yet sparkles full as day
Where the dawn riseth from its eastern cave
Where beauty surfeits by excess of love:
Where the Good rests and stays
My soul will sail.

And from the triad of rocks that menacing
Stands in the ocean path
The sirens sing their lay.

Yet the night shines and there is light
The soul sails on, the siren-song by-passed
Withers and loses in the ocean’s vast.
The breezes blow, the breezes blow my face.
And the soul sails, still sails this night.

Liars

astrologers
perhaps, the sky was misty
the stars were hidden
or you were too occupied
with predictions
to notice that change of fate
spelt out in the sky
perhaps you were just a liar
a liar since time immemorial
making money from
people's insecurities
delivering them a bag of nonsense
that they so eagerly clinged to
breakers of hearts you!
the stars that divided lovers
you spelt them out to be
the partners that you split
with your words
supposedly shown to you by the stars
countless stars in the sky
each of which you subscribed to
for crown successions, wars,
earth breakings, waves and waves
of desires for life conveniences
but your eyes were blocked
by waves and waves and waves
that plundered the Indian Ocean
of lives leaving waves and waves
of grief
the stars, they still look so charming
glittering
in the night ocean
the mysterious part, i let sink in it
swept away by the great tsunami
