The Rain, The World And Me
A cold october rain is falling tonight
all is quiet except for the cars passing
in the blur of darkness
no memories haunt me this evening
just that same old numbness
within my black heart
frozen in time like a watch
that was carelessly dropped
yet the world moves on
things are born, people live
people die, someone cries from
pain and hunger, some are happy
others are desperate
rulers are cruel, some benevolent
religions try to explain the impossible
those that know only smile
and the rain still falls
with its soothing sound that
only a few really appreciate.

Two Worlds
Today is overcast- they say it will rain,
They said it would rain last night-
I was lost in thought when the thunder clapped-
Lightening brightened up the sky, though only for a moment-
Then darkness overtook the entire universe-
I am alone in my own world- that is my choice-
I see people everyday- outside of the world I was born in.
These people are strangers speaking a language I understand although
When words are put together in sentences- I cannot relate.
I am speaking of two worlds- one where millions live,
That unsafe, threatening place- and the world of my thoughts that I live in
Nearly all of the time- the one into which I surely believe
Is the one into which I was born, at the time, safe and sound.
Today is overcast- they say it shall rain-
They said it would rain last night, but when the raindrops
Splashed upon the edge of time, I was lost inside of that world of my own.
In that world of my own, where rain never falls,
In that world of my own, children are never born into.
Somebody stole me and brought me here- into the cruel and threatening place
Where millions of deranged and crazy people live-
Somehow, inside that world, I never fit in and
I feel I never belonged.
I would dance in the rain - the rain that they predicted-
I would dance and sing in this cruel world trying to cope until the sky would fall and
I would find myself in that sky, searching for the world into which I was born?
I am searching for always for that magical place that
Presently only exists inside the world of my thoughts.
Some years ago they took me and locked me inside a room they called 'Seclusion'-
A room dreaded by many to be locked inside-but I found peace of mind there,
If such a thing exists and in this room I could build my fantasies and dreams-
Until they released me back into that world that had not been kind to me.
Let it rain and let lightening strike-let the rain wash my tears away-
I guess I will keep dancing and singing in the rain until the sky falls or until
They take me away again and lock me in that room once more and there
I can lose myself into the world I created and listen to the rain fall as the sky falls-
While thunder claps- a beautiful sound that drowns out angry voices and
Lightening strikes, brightening a pathway where some day I dream,
I will find peace of mind without ever having to turn back time.

Rain
'RAIN'
Rain what a nice name!
From the sky falling dauntlessly like drops of water
Sometimes the rain falls with thunder and sometimes not.
Oh how I feel to see the rain!
From my window I see the rain
And people with umbrellas and so on
Hundreds of people come out and see the rain.
Oh we enjoy rain
But now the thunder blows and falls with ice!
We get scared!
Rain in the seas and oceans,
The sailors are busy
And away moves the ships with gusty wind and thunder.
The rain gives us shower
And we get pleasure!
The rain fulfills our wishes and arises with rays of new hopes! ! !

Words Cause Pain
Rain drops are falling on my head
rain rain rain
it's just hiding the tears on my face
rain rain rain
why can't it hide the pain?
rain rain rain
for God sake go away and come back another day
every dropp that falls on my body hurts
what hurts more are does words that people say
sometime i just wish they just take it all away
words hurts! its causes pain! !
but people don't care
they don't care about the pain that you're feeling
having you feeling down on yourself, makes you said and cry
what they don't know is those words could make someone wants to die
next thing you know, have some one commiting suicide
this all could happen over words that people say
makes you build up this pain that you cant control
that pain that will never make you whole
it will tear you apart
rip your heart apart
those are words that'll bring tears
words that cause fears
rain rain rain
please stop!
let the sun come out
so that the world could see my pain.

Rain Fallin
(charlie black)
Rain fallin,fallin rain
Its a long and troubled night
A night when I wish I could sleep
But theres no sleep inside
Heart breaking, breaking heart
Its such a lonely sound
That cries for the need of someone
But theres no one around
Chorus:
Nobody here to hold
No one to warm the cold
That lies deep within my soul
All around, just the sound of the
Rain falling, fallin rain
Like gentle tears of pain
That comes with my only friend
Its the gently falling rain
Repeat chorus

Just Like The Rain
Just like the rain,
That pours from the sky,
My love for you will never die.
Just like the rain,
That falls on the ground,
I will always be around.
Just like the rain,
That falls upon me,
I'm as happy as I could ever be.
Just like the rain,
With it's pure beauty,
It surely is a sight to see.
Just like the rain,
I can now see,
We were truly meant to be.
Just like the rain,
Sometimes warm and sometimes cold,
You make my heart, not break, but fold.
Just like the rain,
Beneath your feet,
Just come over here and take a seat.
Just like the rain,
Watch it with me,
So you can begin to see.
Just like the rain,
Who may always know,
That I need to stay, and never go.
Just like the rain,
Who knows what's in my heart,
It knows we should never be apart.
Just like the rain,
Please just stay,
And never go any day.
Just like the rain,
That descends from the sky,
Please, please just give me a try...
Just like the rain,
It doesn't last forever,
But it might if we're together.
Just like the rain,
I'm asking you,
When are you going to?
Just like the rain,
I cannot wait,
Until I'm finally in that place.
Just like the rain,
That's in that place in your heart,
When am I going to be that part?
Just like the rain,
That goes alone,
Am I going to turn into stone?
Just like the rain.
I'm waiting for you,
Waiting until you finally do.
Just like the rain,
That goes away,
Do you really want me to stay?
Just like the rain,
I want to know,
Should I stay or should I go?
Just like the rain,
Before that time is passed,
Why don't you just ask?
Just like the rain,
So mysterious to me,
You are just as much as thee.
Just like the rain,
I feel on my skin,
When will you let this relationship begin?
Just like the rain,
I cannot wait,
So come and ask me,
Before it's too late.

Down came the rain
To wash people’s vain
With too much distress it is pain
People sheltered of the rain
Only few behold the rain
Some say let us walk
No let us watch and talk
On passing said it is just rain
People stared looked like insane
Chatting and drinking in fain
One may wonder what is rain?
He gazed alone but no answer in plain
Huh huh, here comes the train
And that is how did come the rain.

Red Rain
Red rain is coming down
Red rain
Red rain is pouring down
Pouring down all over me
I am standing up at the waters edge in my dream
I cannot make a single sound as you scream
It cant be that cold, the ground is still warm to touch
This place is so quiet, sensing that storm
Red rain is coming down
Red rain
Red rain is pouring down
Pouring down all over me
Well Ive seen them buried in a sheltered place in this town
They tell you that this rain can sting, and look down
There is no blood around see no sign of pain
Hay ay ay no pain
Seeing no red at all, see no rain
Red rain is coming down
Red rain
Red rain is pouring down
Pouring down all over me
Red rain-
Putting the pressure on much harder now
To return again and again
Just let the red rain splash you
Let the rain fall on your skin
I come to you defences down
With the trust of a child
Red rain is coming down
Red rain
Red rain is pouring down
Pouring down all over me
And I cant watch any more
No more denial
Its so hard to lay down in all of this
Red rain is coming down
Red rain is pouring down
Red rain is coming down all over me
I see it
Red rain is coming down
Red rain is pouring down
Red rain is coming down all over me
Im bathing in it
Red rain coming down
Red rain is coming down
Red rain is coming down all over me
Im begging you
Red rain coming down
Red rain coming down
Red rain coming down
Red rain coming down
Over me in the red red sea
Over me
Over me
Red rain

Justice Will Fall As Acid
The falling rain is justice
But this justice falls as acid,
The pain from your fear
Will soon be over.
I will watch you as you fall,
I will smile and laugh,
And watch as I rule over everyone,
That is left that is,
And when you fall my justice will rain.
When you die today I live forever.
No matter what you do,
I will win,
I will kill,
I will save myself,
I will make you parish in fear and pain,
I will let you die slowly,
Just for fun.
When the justice is over,
Everyone alive will bow down at my feet,
Or feel my rage.
The falling rain is justice
But this justice falls as acid,
And the pain from your fear
Will soon be over…….

A Lyric From The Heart! ! !
a lad in the falling rain
with his mighty umbrella
moves through the flooded road
he feels the water cold
through the way,
in the rain,
by blowing wind
a 'DUPATTA' touched his face
with the wet touch the cloth
she moves with the drip-drip music of the rain
she turns to him,
her smile touches his heart
soon the wind blowed the rain
even in that wet look
she is just like an angel
an angel from heaven in the rain
like the wind moved the rain
she moved him
her eyes carried him
through the unknown way
something he had to say
he dont know, how to say
some words raised in his mind
he singed the unknown words
in the drip-drip music of rain
she heard his
she looked him with a smile
the rain went off
calm & cold wind blowed
Ecstasy of the evening
with a rejuvenated feel
he walked back
with the drip-drip music of rain
and with the lyrics from his heart! !
This Evening The Farmer Is happy
The corellas on the tall gums are calling as darkness is cloaking the sky
The evening is calm though 'tis raining and we need rain the ground is so dry
This evening the farmer is happy his water tanks filling in the rain
Nice to hear the spluttering of rain water down the guttering to the storm water drain
Yes the farmer with the rain is happy with the warmer days of Summer ahead
The long spells of droughts and of bushfires of such things he does live in dread
In these times of climate change and global warming we do get some weather extremes
For our polluting of our natural environment our price to pay it will be huge it seems
With farm dams and smaller waterways drying out less water birds for to be seen
The countryside dry and brown looking as brown as it ever has been
The rain has never been more welcome the happy farmer has cause to smile
In the Winter and Spring little rainfall we have not seen heavy rain for some-while
The sound of the rain on the galvanize roofs is a pleasant sound for to hear
And the farmer he is looking happier at the end for him of a hard year.

Rain
(m&l - parfitt)
How can I see what Im leaving for?
How can I give what I gave before?
How can you tell me that you want me to stay?
How can I stay when Im trying to say,
That I cant live without the rain,
Yes I cant live without the rain.
How can I feel what Im trying to feel,
How can I move when Im heel to heel,
Youre always shouting about the doubt in my eye,
But I cant answer cos my eyes are so dry.
Now I cant live without the rain.
Yes I cant live without the rain.
I cant live without the rain,
Thats falling on my head,
Rain thats falling on my head.
Rain thats falling,
Rain thats falling,
Rain thats falling on my head.
Id started thinking back to you when,
Id like to send a line but then again,
How can I write you when there aint no light,
Im feeling tight tonight but thats alright.
Now I cant live without the rain,
Yes I cant live without the rain.

Its Gonna Rain
Transcribed by wes torres
Now who, who, who do you think I am?
Well, I built this ark with japheth, shem, and ham.
Now what, what, what do you think its gonna do
When I live by faith and now my work is through?
Its gonna rain (its gonna rain)
I said its gonna rain (its gonna rain)
Yes, its gonna rain (its gonna rain.)
Im so happy to say (its gonna rain)
Oh its gonna rain (its gonna rain) on the world today
Now when, when, when I am in doubt
And I think that things for me will never work out,
But where, where, where the heart is true,
Ya know lord, your god, will never forsake you.
Its gonna rain (its gonna rain)
I said its gonna rain (its gonna rain)
Yes, its gonna rain (its gonna rain.)
Im so happy to say (its gonna rain)
Oh its gonna rain (its gonna rain) on the world today
Repeat verse 1 (drums only)
Its gonna rain (its gonna rain)
I said its gonna rain (its gonna rain)
Yes, its gonna rain (its gonna rain.)
Im so happy to say (its gonna rain)
Oh its gonna rain (its gonna rain) on the world today
Forty days and forty nights (its gonna rain)
Forty days and forty nights (its gonna rain)
Hallileua, its alright (its gonna rain)
Everybodys sleepin tight (its gonna rain)
Oh, its alright, its alright, its alright, its gonna rain tonight.
Repeat chorus three times

Mask
My thoughts are hidden behind a
Stone – like mask, once unsmiling, but never weeping- as
I began my solitary walk into the darkness.
I remember the day that
I built a moat around my castle walls
Morning transformed into night and it was
On that starless night
The sun barely set and in all of its fullness, the moon never rose,
At daybreak, fog overshadowed the sun, and
It could have been because
On the same dank and sultry day
My lifelong summer came to an end.
The sun rose in the west and the earth stood still.
Torrential rain poured out
From the depths of me, and
It was upon that last day ever that
I let the world surrounding me see the storm through my startled eyes.
The screaming of the locusts, the sounds of cars racing down the highway,
The hammering of the hail upon the pavement and
The heavy footsteps of people walking outside
Could not surpass my silent though desperate cries…
The early morning fog descended
And settled around my castle walls- jet black as the
Tempest that raged behind those walls,
In which I became both the queen and the prisoner
Although-
No one would have known because
I had firmly pasted a frozen smile
Upon that stone-like mask that I donned night and day-
Everyone was too busy
Reading about the wars in the far-east and the plight of the homeless-
Nobody could see or hear the war that was rampant inside of me-
I have no home in this world; I walk alone.
Above the calling of the wild geese,
The rush hour traffic, the spattering of the rain upon the rooftops outside-
No one listens to the sound of shattering dreams because
That frozen smile-
Was just too beautiful…

In The Rain
Sorry I am for the hurt I caused
Grieving I still do over careless words
As I move freely to a place
The debris I left behind comes back into my day
Out of time disconnected
Plagued by senses sweet desire, out of time
Out of time deluded
I plunged my hand into the mother load of love
In the rain calling out his name, I call, yes I call
In the rain falls on my shame it falls, yes it falls
In the rain
Life picked me up this morning and thrust me to the world
Like a child Im hurtled forward
Dreaming things anew, sights I see sound true
All the places, open faces gracing everything I view
In the rain falls on my shame I call, yes I call
In the rain falling on my shame I call yes, I call
In the rain calling out his name, I fall, yes I fall
In the rain

Big Storm, The Rain Falls
The rain falls like leaves and snow.
It stutters and mutters
And bounces and flows.
The rain falls like a big black crow,
Flapping and cawing
And thrashing and crashing.
The rain falls like spades of earth
Tossed on the grave of summer mirth.
The rain falls like a magic spell:
Billions of droplets singing their songs.
The rain falls like a lover's kisses,
Wet on the flesh of the trembling earth.
The rain falls like a forest of time,
Shimmering seconds, liquid and cold.
The rain falls like an ancient story,
Trickling on roots, twisted and old.

Rain Rain Rain
Rain, Rain, Rain, come again and again,
In the winter, in the summer and in spring,
Come with joy, fall with happiness and go with sorrow,
Rain, Rain, Rain come again and again.
Rain, Rain, Rain come to relive earth's pain,
Rain, Rain, Rain come to make nature happy,
Rain, Rain, Rain come to make livings happy,
Rain, Rain, Rain come again and again.
Rain, Rain, Rain don't go away,
Rain, Rain, Rain i hope you will stay,
Rain, Rain, Rain come again and again.

Watch My Blood Rain
The blade looks enticing
It's difficult to explain
The ideas of slicing
Watch my blood rain
The cut is deep
Some say I'm insane
It puts me to sleep
To watch my blood rain
The redness is real
I cannot refrain
I know I truly feel
When I watch my blood rain
I sit and I cry
Life is nothing but pain
I ask myself why
I watch my blood rain
My spirit is bound
By this ball and chain
My soul has been downed
Then I watch my blood rain
The anguish is true
My heart has been slain
One day I'll break through
For now I'll watch my blood rain

Rain, Sweet Rain
Rain falling in tears skies can't hold
They are heavy, and fast and cold,
Yet so precious that its fall's mold
Can become the nest of a new life's fold
So inconstant you may think it is alive,
For it can destroy or let thrive,
For it can be loved or despised,
For it can be benevolent or be mised
And it is so human, the rain,
(Although it is most inhuman thing around)
That when the human bears big pain
Eyes got inspiration found
In no more no less than rain,
For tears imitate the very rain-like stain
And will be a day of sorrow,
When stars have rain as borrow,
And then we won't say again:
'Here comes rain, sweet rain'

When I Feel The Rain I Live
Outside it's raining and i'm watching at my window,
In silence of the world, only the dance of rain i could feel,
My thoughts are in torment of questions and answers,
Only the rain knows what i need.
Rain falls gradually in the rhythm of my thoughts,
I feel it's wrapping my pain,
The voice of rain calming my senses,
When my heart is rushing to beat.
I'm watching rain from window,
The cold drops are touching the thirsty ground,
My soul is the same as the soil,
It needs love as much the soil needs rain.
I'm walking in cold rain,
Like crystal pearls are falling from the sky,
When touching my skin it's like magic,
I feel my soul light and released of pain.
I'm listening the music of the rain drops,
And on this music i am dancing, speeding around,
With my arms wide open touching rain drops,
Rain is caressing me with its voice and touch.
I adore rain, it's all my sould wanted,
Caressing me, awaking life in me,
When i feel the rain and listen to its rhythm,
I wish to live again, again, again.
