The Maze of Life
Onward through the maze of life
Each day forward we trek
Choosing which turn to take
Choices made, through the maze of life
Onward through the maze of life
Enduring our life in pleasures we seek
Engulfed in our own, private world
Slicing a way through the maze of life
Onward through the maze of life
Choices made, yet with little thought
The impact on others, without inclination
No compassion, through the maze of life
Onward through the maze of life
Grasping for all we can gather
Clawing to enhance our fortunes
Monetary wealth, through the maze of life
Onward through the maze of life
Each soul, a world of one
Each world, a kingdom of its own
Wasted soul, through the maze of life
Onward through the maze of life
No thoughts for the future,
Enjoying life, only for today,
, Future ignored, through the maze of life
Onward through the maze of life
Picking the apples, devouring the fruit
Filling our bellies today
Living for today, through the maze of life
Onward through the maze of death
A choice not chosen, a choice not ours
To late for changes, no more choices
Souls in default, through the maze of death!

The Mouse In The Maze
You did not
need to telephone today
to tell me
that you would not see me.
Today.
I already knew.
You left your job
I knew
you would not see me
very often.
If at all.
From this point on.
You live in the country
you can go nowhere.
Without justifying your time
people knowing.
Letting people know
paying for petrol.
You pay for petrol
money you no longer earn.
Where do you go?
Account for the petrol!
You do not realize yet
that you live in a maze.
You live in a maze
you are a mouse.
Merv runs the maze
you may run the house.
Or your own treadmill
you may run both.
You may run both
but both lead to nowhere.
You are the trained tame pet
caged laboratory mouse.
You may only run the house
and your children's home.
You are a mouse.
Merv the perve runs the maze.
The really sad thing is
he does not even bait you.
With a whole piece of cheese.
You run his prison maze
craving crumbs of affection.
He sometimes lets you keep.
You are only his mouse
running his relocated maze.
You are not as important
as his computer mouse.
Yet isn’t it funny
that I should fall for...
fall in love with
such a funny
mouse in a maze?
Apparently you are destined
to live a maze life,
running your treadmill
in submission,
to all important wishes
satisfying, the maze master?

The Goal Of Life
Life is a maze with many forks
At which one turns without rout maps.
In the maze, exit is the goal.
In the life, avoiding it is the goal.

A'Maze'ing
Your pain is His pleasure
For the storm has a clearing
And He will begin
Once your end is nearing
He does His work best
When there’s nothing to lose
And your will is all gone
So it’s His will you’ll use
When it’s time to let go
Then you have to hang on
To your faith in the Lord
And not the things that are gone
Even peace has a price
But it has already been paid
When the son of man came
The groundwork was laid
Keep your eyes on His suffering
Then your heart will know His love
Not the kind you seek here
But the kind from above
He gave his life here for all of us
Even those you despise
So let go of your grudges
If you want to rise
It’s like life is a maze
And the walls are too high
But God knows the quick exit
He sees the maze from the sky
He just wants to guide you
When you hit the maze wall
Because the healing is greater
The harder you fall
So when your storm is raging
Know that God’s got your hand
For one day it will clear
And you’ll see His big plan

When I was in New York it was like a maze, a rat maze, going from one little box to another little box and passing through passageways to get from one safe haven to another.

Never Be The Same
Dont stand around
Like friends at a funeral
Eyes to the ground
It couldve been you
Why do you weep
For the passing of ages
You slip with the back of your hand
Youre taking it out on the one you love
I couldnt believe it
But we might still survive
And rise up through the maze
If you could change your life
And never be the same
How long must I wait
For you to release me
I pay for each mistake
While you suffer in silence
I could still have an easy life
But the lie aint worth the living
Once more will I hear you say
We might still survive
And rise up through the maze
If you could change your life
And never be the same
Dont stand around
Like friends at a funeral
Eyes to the ground
Dont suffer in silence
cause we might still survive
And rise up through the maze
If you could change your life
And never be the same
Everytime I hear you
Never be the same
And everytime I mess up
Never be the same

Life is maze
Life path is made of a net work;
One makes a choice at each fork.
Forks are frequent; so are choices.
Some are vital, some trivial.
Choices are made impulsively;
Choices are made instantly;
Choices are made by habit,
Experience, knowledge and faith.
Between pain and pleasure,
Between hedonism and virtues
And between power and possession,
Everyone’s life oscillates.
It is nothing but a sea saw.
Not every choice would click,
However best it appeared.
Your progress is not sure.
Life is maze not made by you.
The success and the failure
Are incidental and accidental.
No choice other than making choice.

Maze
The overhead view is of me in a maze
And you see what Im hunting a few steps away
And I take a wrong turn and Im on the wrong path
And the people all watching enjoy a good laugh
Embarrassed with failure, I try to reverse
The course that my tread had already traversed
So doing the trauma engulfing my dream
Invaded through what was an unguarded seam
The torrent of helplessness swept me away
To the cavern of shame and the hall of dismay
Inside me a voice was repeating this phrase:
Youve lost it, youll never get out of this maze
Youll never get out of this maze x7

My Labyrinth
Tell me now of the maze
The place you went to search, to gaze
To try to find what I have hid
To try to crack, to break the lid
The cap I have forced upon emotion
The one I used to stop devotion
For I have made a labyrinth
A place to keep all my sins
I have made a labyrinth
And in my maze my heart is hid
These walls I built
So I could be a man of tin
To banish my feelings from the world
So tell me how did you get in.
A map of my maze you've unfurled
You followed it and found my chest
The box I made my self forget
You opened it and then you left
And then Death and I nearly met
So now I sit here alone
So lost in it, all on my own
The mess you've made is now called me
The wound's unable to be sown
The feelings the world shouldn't see
But now they stand, like banners flown
Now I sit in the breeze
The boat I'm in was hurry made
The thoughts in my head churning seas
Nothing more is left of the plans I laid

Drones
You waste away
A spinning cage
Rats blinded by the sun
You spend your days
Stuck in that race
And life has just begun
In paradise there's ill neglect
And lives are lost in full distress
The wage of sin is money spent
Your life undone, full of regret
Lost in the maze
Falling away
And now your life
Amounts to nothing
The fortune has a price
'Cause in the end
all humans die
A dead drone in the hive
In paradise there is ill neglect
And lives are lost in full distress
The weight of sin is memory spent
Your life undone full of regret
Lost in the maze
Falling away
Falling away again ...

Slave To The Wage
Run away from all your boredom
Run away from all your whoredom and wave
Your worries and cares
Goodbye
All it takes is one decision
A lot of guts, a little vision to wave
Your worries and cares
Goodbye
Its a maze for rats to try
Its a maze for rats to try
Its a race, a race for rats
A race for rats to die
Its a race, a race for rats
A race for rats to die
Sick and tired of maggies farm
Shes a bitch with broken arms to wave
Your worries and cares
Goodbye
Its a maze for rats to try
Its a maze for rats to try
Its a race, a race for rats
A race for rats to die
Its a race, a race for rats
A race for rats to die
Its a race, a race for rats
A race for rats to die
Its a race, a race for rats
A race for rats to die
Burn away
Run away, run away
Run away, run away
Run away, run away
Run away, run away

Amazed for friend Thad
I wandered in an ancient maze.
Close clipped hedges on either side
and as I walked its narrow ways.
I had no choice but to decide.
To choose the left or choose the right.
Which turning that I ought to take.
The dense Yew hedges curbed my sight.
I was confused, make no mistake.
The maze became a metaphor
for all the problems I must face.
Each is a case of either or.
I ponder as I slowly pace
along the tree lined corridors.
I feel my tensions disappear
and clearly see my future course.
The quietness I have found here.
Was truly worth the entrance fee.
My hour of silent solitude
has left my mind now trouble free.
Completely changed my attitude.
I will no longer strive to show
I am the leader of the pack l
The maze has taught me take it slow
before I earn a heart attack.

Oddly enough, MS has made my life so much better than it was before. I now appreciate what I have and I am not running around like a rat in a maze.
Your song
Stars fill the sky,
Night is so young.
I feel so happy and high,
So, sing me a song.
Bring your guitar,
and raise up your voice.
Take me to a place so far,
away from people and their noise.
Your song takes me up,
and guide me through the haze.
Your song never stopped,
to throw me in a maze,
A maze where i'm breathless but free
where i love you and you love me.
Sing me that song about your life,
and how it started when we met.
Sing me that song about our love,
that song i shall never forget.
Sing me your song and bring me to life,
for those moments only..i surfive.
Angels took your song and wrote it in the sky,
with the beautiful cluster stars.
All the world saw it and they knew,
we are in love and you belong to my arms.
Your song is the love anthem,
As you sing that, you will wait for me,
you love me,
you need me.
Your song puts rules for love.
Sing your song all our lives,
i'll never get enough...
The Mazes Of My Life, Of Our Lives
we are mazes,
and some people who take us as
important, follow us in that maze, every turn, every
quizzical path, scheming mind, and at those corners where
there are celebrations, they scrutinize, the reasons,
and in the loopholes of our disappointments, they begin to smile,
embrace the comfort that they are not alone in all these
miseries, that we are all one race, one experience
of leaps and bounds, of manholes and mounds, of hills and trenches,
sometimes, i look at this maze, and i say with all confidence,
i have mastered these secret passages, i have no fear,
i always arrive at what i desire
i don't jump for pains, neither joys,
this is just a path that i have to walk on
and go through, and finish, and when i arrive there,
another maze opens itself, like some kind of doors
which lock and close themselves the moment i enter
for what life is exactly? it is personal, it is i who must
wade through its water flow to its river fall from its cliffs,
rise to its skies, explode to its jubilation,
rain to its drought, fill in the cracks, conceal its cancers,
survive its hurdles, drink its poisons, and
then die with all my colors
flowers on my sides, sunset at my back, their tears on my palms
their whispers passing through my ears
end to end like a wind gushing through
my windows......

Contained in everything I do
Theres a love, I feel for you
Proclaimed in everything I write
Youre the light
Burning, brightly
Onward through the night
Onward through the night
Onward through the night of my life
Displayed in all the things I see
Theres a love you show to me
Portrayed in all the things you say
Youre the day

Onward
Don't we all wonder, remotely
- in ways we cannot even fully understand -
'What's this all about? '
Age has invaded our mind
and hearts.
Onward we march.
Life has invaded our spirits
and souls.
As onward we march.
The future flows right on past
behind us.
And yet onward we march.
Living is a passing glance
a long goodbye.
Onward we march.
Where we are bound
no eye has seen
no tongue can tell
no mind does fathom.
Still onward we march.
On the trail of time lost
we take the exit to eternity.
Ever onward we march.
Do we wonder
what a wonder it is
that we're marching into?
We should.
We shall.
We are.
Through it all, onward we march.
Onward...

I just don't know
Oft times it seems to me, a maze
A puzzle of a life deploying
I’m not yet lost in life’s hindering haze
I just don’t know where I’m going
Chimeric choices, perplexing places
Devisive devices, puzzlingly annoying
I’m not yet lost in life’s repetitive races
I just don’t know yet, where I’m going
Seems an arcane game, with no obvious answer
checkmate and stalemate keeps hope from bouying
I’m not lost in life’s ballroom, I’m simply a dancer
And I just don’t know yet…where I’m going
If you've figured it out
you could save me much toiling
I'm not really lost, yet could you just give me a shout
and tell me where it is that I'm going
I'm not truly lost
I just lack the knowing
where ere I've tossed
nor where it tis that I'm going
