The Judge – versus – A Judge
THE JUDGE of the Universe called me
to dock and asked on the judgment day
“Justice Joy, to defend yourself
do you have anything to say?
You’re charged with the
crime of denying justice at your hand
To many an innocent accused
when you dispensed justice in the world.
Heart-rending cries of innocent convicts I’ve heard
Acquitted criminals’
trumpeting boasts also I’ve heard.
Despite knowing the truth yourself,
you’ve relied on (false) witnesses,
And sent to gallows many faultless.
Your acts were indeed heinous.
I’ve heard your judgments many
that you pronounced in open court.
Often you treated life and freedom
with no justice of any sort.
Widows’ wails and orphans’ cries
have never ever touched your heart.
Innocence written on victims’ faces,
you always failed to look at.
Succumbed to pressure you
wrote out judgments as ‘bosses’ wanted
To gain ‘their’ pleasure and favors,
several evidences you twisted.
Judge, your traits were bad.
You harbored prejudice and hatred
Your opponents couldn’t ever escape.
Traps you had manipulated.
You never used your knowledge to give
men their life-saving justice.
These are ‘A’ grade crimes,
according to Heaven’s Law of Justice.
Prescribed punishment for these
is ‘Long-term Roasting in Fire’.
State your defense as to why
you shouldn’t be condemned to that fire”.
The dormant lawyer in me woke up
when those ‘allegations’ I heard.
I posed the following questions:
“Who are the complainants? Tell me lord?
What is the evidence? Who are the witnesses?
Who is the advocate on record?
I want to cross-examine the witnesses.
The allegations are absurd.
Which judgments did fail the test of
Evidence Act of my country?
Stoutly I deny the charges.
Let the prosecution prove to the contrary
Grant me time to file my counter
and examine my witness
I’ll disprove the allegations,
and I’m sure the case you’ll dismiss.”
The Judge said “the system is different here.
There’s no provision for witness.
Men’s thoughts, talks and acts
get recorded here at once.
I’m the complainant, the lawyer,
the witness, and also judge.
If men hadn’t shed their evil,
I punish them. I do not budge.
I condemn you to a long roast! ”
On His desk He hit His hammer.
Then angels rushed forward
and threw me into hellish fire.

On the Innate Drive For What is Right
As life bled, martyrdom flared its buds.
Repression, red from irritation,
Rendered chinks and cracks; but thuds of
Armament - in cowardice - accomplice of the
Dictatorial blight thro' countless years -
Wreaked its retribution:
Yet hope began to bloom a coloured carapace
Enshrining their allegiance ‘gainst the
Terror in their tears.
And on! Splits yawned - breaches in the junta:
Flesh fought fanatical minds -
Bullets welcomed into open hands
And blessed with yearnings for morality:
Chiselled man-toys of death and mutilation
Couldn't repel the might of freedom
Surging at the bright horizon.
Crepuscular rays of purpose, body,
Flooded pandemonium with
Overwhelming clarity, direction -
Burdened clouds drifting wayward as the
Light channelled out a vision,
Intensifying focus on tomorrow -
Deepen their stride
As they home in to
What is theirs,
Rightfully theirs!

Justice...
… Slow Justice
Is Better Than No Justice
… I Just Want Justice and Peace
To Feel Justice
It Must Be Real Justice
Not Cut-Deals Or Just A Piece
Full Justice
Not Pull The Wool Justice
She’s Already Been Blindfolded Enough
We Accuse Justice
But To Lose Justice
Is To Unlock Chaos’ Cuffs
Justice …
Is Lustrous
In Pearls Of Conviction Displayed
Justice …
The Huntress
Were Wild-Wily-Wrongs Are Caged
A Cry For Justice
Is Why Justice’s
Scales-Weights Shouldn’t Be In Doubt
Legal Justice
Be Equal Justice
With Rules To Balance It Out
Honest Justice
Promise Justice
Is Right For The Poor and Oppressed
But Even Rich Justice
And Even Quick Justice
Should Be A Standard, Silvered Process
Raw Justice
Shouldn’t Be Flawed Justice
But Free To All Everywhere
The Power Of Justice
Is That The Hour Of Justice
Doesn’t Run Out Of Time Anywhere
Men Must Court Justice
And Support Justice
To Qualify For Her ‘Your’ Honor
And Seek Justice
And Speak Justice
And Be A Worthy Defender Word-Warrior
Some Have Burned Justice
Some Have Spurned Justice
In The Lies That They Have Sworn
Some Have Raped Justice
Then Gaped At Justice
Laid Bare Like Loss Innocence In Porn
Oh Sweet Justice
Don’t Beat Justice
We Are In Races But We Shouldn’t Fight
Some System Of Justice
Has Idealism Of Justice
But The Whole World Needs To Get It Right …
Then True Justice
And Overdue Justice
Will Be The Law Of Every Land & Life
Without Justice
You Can Count Justice’s
Tears Rolling Down In Strife
The Hope Of Justice
And Scope Of Justice
Is That Justice Answers To GOD
The Mercy Of Justice
And Courtesy Of Justice
Will Be The Final Plea Bargain LORD …

I will be in comfort and others in peace
Down under and deep inside me
There sits a judge with a hammer
Beside a big old wooden table
With a eye-folded statue and a
Tossing balance
No one around,
No attendant or clerk in front
Only the accused
In the stand meant
No witness, nor arguments
No lawyer for or against the accused
No mention of sections or provisions
Of any law or regulation
And the judge is ever ready for judging
And comes out to declare that
This is good and that is bad
Which law school he is from
In which law he is a specialist
I know not a thing,
But he is always judging
And makes me act on his judgments
Normally we address
“The learned judge”
I know how “learned”
The person judging
Sitting down under deep inside me
Most of his judgments and
Subsequent acts of mine
Made me regret
And put others in discomfort
I have a request to
My inside judge
“Oh, Noble but lowly learned judge
How nice will it be
If you stop judging'
I will be in comfort and
Others in peace

Justice Of The Peace
(ian hunter)
Its such a terrible shame it was only a game
Then her brothers found out seven johnny be goodes
We was only pretending at mummys and daddys
They totally misunderstood
Oh what a terrible plight what a terrible fight
It was too much to bear her father said ere
I think you better sign its a letter designed
To have you married by the first of the year
Get the justice of the peace
Get the justice get the justice of the peace
Oh get the justice of the peace
Get the justice get the justice of the peace
If you want to play with fire
Youll get yourself burned
I was messing with the ashes
But look at how it turned out
Get the justice of the peace
Get the justice get the justice of the peace
Oh what a terrible waste such a shocking disgrace
To give me away Im too young to die
A shotgun wedding heading straight for the sky
And Im shy mary ellen Im shy y y y
Get the justice of the peace
Get the justice Ill get the justice of the peace
Come on!
Get the justice of the peace
Get the justice Ill get the justice of the peace
When your chips go down
You came on the dice
Forget the mississippi
Take some friendly advice
Get the justice of the peace
Ill get the justice Ill get the justice of the peace
(give it to me old chum)
Get the justice of the peace
Get the justice Ill get the justice of the peace
Get the justice of the peace
Get the justice Ill get the justice of the peace
If you want to play with fire
Youll get yourself burned
And I was messing with the ashes
And look at how it turned out
Ill get the justice get the justice of the peace
Ill get the justice Ill get the justice of the peace
Ill get the justice get the justice of the peace
Ill get the justice Ill get the justice of the peace
Ill get the justice get the justice of the peace

Justice is the One who gives Life on Me
For the people who seek for comfort or dead mercy,
Their fairness sob and yet still strife for their right,
I rage against the death of justice before it will be.
My eyes shed tears, my heart crumpled tenderly
Cries of beggar and poor who gleamed on my sight,
For only Justice is the one who gives life on me.
The soul who screams, murdered by hatred and fury,
By means of politics, they were killed and cause blight
I rage against the death of justice before it will be.
Such criminals must be punish and injured severely,
Either they’ll tell the truth or lie, a freedom to fight,
For only Justice is the one who gives life for me.
Unjust power, ways of government over sovereignty,
To rule the nation seeking in dark the hopes in light
Yet, rage against the death of justice before it will be.
Hearts and souls are estranged on life that’s so unlucky,
And unfair and believers grasp on their faith; hold on tight,
And rage against the death of justice before it will be,
For only Justice, Justice and Justice…
Which the one who gives life to me.

Beyond all reasonable doubt For J.T ellison
Can it be that you believe?
that justice is what you receive.
If you submit your case to court.
It ought to be but it is not.
All thought of justice is forgot
bogged down in legal argument.
Though you have right upon your side
Although you know the witness lied
it does not mean you’ll win your case.
You cannot prove his words untrue
so there is little you can do.
and at that point your case will fail.
Justice is blind and can be found
outside the court with her eyes bound.
Because she cannot bear to see.
The happenings inside the court
Injustices of every sort
No justice just a travesty.

Cost of justice
The command and the commissioner
The presidency and cabinet
Parliament and judicial committee
Judges and lawyer and prothonotary
National Prosecution Authority
Are all the cost of justice
Run round around rally
There’s no truth about you
You are motley
The justice that hide criminal
Justice that decorate crime
Showing it off like Vuvuzela at the stadium
Money is their lawyer
Position is their judgement
Bail is their imprisonment
Poor can’t afford bail
Innocent are behind the bars
Victim strike with the cost of justice

To Love Again?
Where is justice?
Where is truth?
Where is equity,
In the face of adversity?
Who will stand for me?
Advocate my cause
Speak my mind
Before a just judge
O where is justice
Why am I wronged,
Every time I try
To love again
Let there be a voice
That will speak in truth
Against the wrongs
Done to my soul
I ask you lord
Where is justice
Speak for me
I cry out to you
Hear my cause
Plead my case
Defend me against lairs
What wrong is mine,
To love again?
Justice With No Lie
An innocent man
lies his head down to rest
not wanting to wake
to the morning sun
Instead wanting to wake
in a parallel universe
where truth and justice
is number one
In the real world
his days seem like years
they eat away at his
mind body and soul
If a witness would lie
he knows he might die
before truth and justice
Would see the light
but he's got to keep up the fight
All he wants
is justice with no lie
so come forward
and let truth and justice
shine it's light

Where's The Freedom And Justice?
where's the freedom and justice?
trapped behind bars
watching lightning fast cars
where's the freedom and justice?
why keep hope
when happiness pops like soap
where's the freedom and justice?
cant breathe
cant leave
where's the freedom and justice?
hate misery
hate mystery
where's the freedom and justice?
you get raped
get interviewed on tape
where's the freedom and justice?
goes to court
but his bad luck is not the unlucky sort
where's the freedom and justice?
he get's away
i like an idea that's revenge is a way!
where's the freedom and justice?

Concepts of justice must have hands and feet to carry out justice in every case in the shortest possible time and the lowest possible cost. This is the challenge to every lawyer and judge in America.

The System Of Justice
If we all tried and did something good each day
we would then help to keep so much evil at bay.
And in the world there would be a lot less crime
and so people would not have to do penalty time.
The same can be said about the telling of lies
that are deceptive which most people despise.
Because no one really likes to know they've been deceived
especially after being told something false that is believed.
This raises the specific issues of virtue and vice
or conduct of what is or isn't regarded to be nice.
The laws of the state are to be followed as a guide
by all the people who are by them otherwise tried.
If found to have transgressed in a particular way
that did not conform to a specific law of the day.
There's usually someone who sounds the alarm
when a member of society is suspected of harm.
And when the offender is apprehended and brought to trial
they have to plead their case before a judge without a smile.
If the evidence against them is too strong to acquit them of the charge
they'll have to pay the penalty imposed or forfeit their freedom at large.
This may be a fine to be paid or period spent confined behind bars
where the person convicted is placed and from society kept afars.
But if they're acquitted of the charge in court and allowed to go free
they'll be satisfied with the justice system which tried and let them be.
This is sometimes the situation regardless of the suspect being really guilty or innocent
and doesn't praise or say much of the law when the verdict handed down is too lenient.
That is why when worldly human justice falls short or doesn’t rightly prevail
what's known as Divine justice will eventually step in and recompense entail.

A judge that you must know
He wears a black robe
To cover his burning heart
It is burning to
The fires of justice
He carries a hammer
Of wood
Not steel
Not iron
It cannot really kill
It is only for the keeping of
Peace and order
To all men
Who want to listen to
Reason
To all those who believe
That conflicts can
Be resolved
In calm dispositions
He sits on his bench
His eyes
Weighing
The evidence on
Fair scales of justice
There shall be no bias
There shall be no prejudice
After a hearing
After a patient listening
This man of proven
Competence, possessing
Integrity, probity of mind,
And independence in thought
Lets the hammer fall
Wealth may shift
Liberties may be lost
Properties forfeited
Positions lost
Litigations end
The guilty is sent to prison
The innocent is set free
Those who have less in life
Shall have more in law
Justitia nemini neganda est
Justice is to be denied to none.
And justice shall have been rendered
This is the judge that I want you to know
He carries no gun no bodyguards to
Secure his life, not much money to
Buy him his flashy car or build his mansion
No large sums in secret accounts
No free vacations to the Bahamas Islands
No free meals no free plane tickets
He is rich with justice he breathes justice
His every atom in his body embodies
Justice and the fair rules of this eternal quest
Justice
equity
compassion
understanding
& above all
Love.

Rape
(ian hunter)
He searched through his love like a thief on the run
He searched through his face - to see the guilt water run
But hes fresh out of tears and nobody has come
And justice has got to be done
Oh moon in the city stay open and clear
For his vision aint good and his minds disappeared
Get along mother nature they spat at your son
So justice has got to be done
And beauty is lying alone in the park
Her friend has gone bowling in the alleys so dark
Wheres her knight in white armour who rides a chrome ford
Justice would seem to be bored
Justice would seem to be bored
A knife full of life penetrated the bait
While he thinks o the sister and the mother that he hates
And he thinks hell get off cos hes sick, and stoned
And justice was made to be honed
And justice was made to be honed
And his lawyer is smiling one hell of a smile
n hes lying all the lies - of the lies in exile
While shes dying of grief hes defending his brief
And justice would seem to be cheap
And justice would seem to be cheap
Well Ive searched through the falling, and I searched through the failed
Ive searched through the jury - the judge and the jailed
But sleeping beauty is dead no use pricking her thumb
And justice has got to be done
Justice just is - justice just is - justice just is - not!

The sun will not shine
The sun may not shine tomorrow
The dark dungeons may not allow
Any sun beam to enter prison wall
The world has last day to call
The end may be very slow
I shall be buried deep below
No more pain and blows
It will be nice in gallows
Only almighty has right to snatch the life
Who can cut throat with blade or knife?
Only butcher or murderer can do at will
Otherwise it is deliberate and intentional kill
I am charged with gruesome murder
No one heard my plea when surrendered
The dark clouds were striking harder on that day
The lightening was fast and heavier to mislead you the way
I don’t know what really went wrong
The night was frightening and gave a loud bang
It was unusual and very strange
I was surging ahead but with difficulty to manage
The man was lying before me in pools of blood
The rainy water was increasing and resulting in flood
I just ushered in to see what actually had gone bad
I could see dead person and felt so sad
So many hands pounced on me and made prisoner
Everyone refused my story and declined to be listener
I had all the evidences against me to prove their point
I was given severe beating causing heavy pain in joints
How could be they be inhumane on the name of human?
Why do they consider us animal in the shape of man or woman?
What have we done to be called a blot on humanity?
Are we to be condemned with total disregard to the dignity?
It is living hell on this beautiful earth
Prisoners are leading animal life awaiting death
Who knows what type of treatment can be meted out to them?
Till there are enough of witnesses and circumstantial evidences to frame?
I know for sure that I will die unheard
There will not a murmur or single sympathetic word
No one may shed the tear to mark the memory
Only I have to feel pity and very sorry
There is natural justice for innocent
Some of the judgments are very fresh and recent
“Not one innocent is to be hanged let hundred get freed”
The justice can not be blind and depend on wrongly feed
I am not sure of any outcome
The God is great and any verdict is welcome
I have full faith in His judgment
There is nothing as such to lament

Just deserts
I’ve killed before and will again.
I kill for justice not for gain
So many criminals go free
because of their ability.
To hire a lawyer who will try
To make the truth appear a lie
So they escape just punishment.
Although it is self evident
That crafty legal argument
based on some ancient precedent
The merest technicality
persuades the judge to set them free
I’m not constrained by petty rules
and those that are I see as fools
I pursue justice ceaselessly
and do my duty faithfully
And those I deem deserve to die.
The punishment that I apply.
Is merely justice long delayed
I play the part that I have played.
That of the executioner
Or murderer if you prefer.
For many years without remorse
And I will carry on of course.
I’ve killed before and will again
As long as criminals obtain.
Immunity they don’t deserve
a fact I frequently observe.
In courts of law. Guilty men go free.
Blind justice can depend on me.
To disregard such foolishness
I am completely pitiless.
Though self appointed I redress
injustice with some small success.
I operate in secrecy
It is a prime necessity.
You do not need to know my name
I have no wish for worldly fame.
I take my duties seriously.
and that’s reward enough for me.
I rectify the courts mistakes
a little thought is all it takes.
Each guilty man the courts set free.
I’ll execute eventually.
But I must make it crystal clear
that innocents have naught to fear.
I only punish guilty men
before they can offend again.
Prevention is better than cure
I see no reason to endure.
Acquittals earned by lawyer’s lies.
I think a higher law applies.
If you transgress then you must pay.
There’s nothing more I need to say. http: //blog.myspace.com.poeticpiers

Judge of Justice (Why this Poverty)
With all my wisdom
The poor bow his head
Even in your kingdom
I do acknowledge
Before cruel hand of strength
There is no regards for knowledge
Many a time
I have seen
The poor being disregarded
And badly humiliated
Is this the justice awarded?
You the judge of justice
They have nothing
Only grief as wealth
Tears roll down their cheeks
They sleep hungry for weeks
O judge of justice
Why is this injustice
What was poor's foul
Of the tactless soul
Why you sent them to world
Full of men cruel and bold
Where without strength
Poor have to mew
You showered wealth
In the houses of few
By your great grace
Many are enjoying health
It's your presence
That flower give fragrance
Then why you deprived them
Of good health and ample wealth
Why embittered their life
Shrouded their soul with grief
O judge of justice
Why you did injustice

Destiny
Destiny
not in your hand
My dear judge
be transparent
if you are intelligent.
Remember, my dear judge
you are not migratory
and floating to fillup belly
you are to give delivery
justice if you are wise.
Only for deliverance of justice
you are there in the society.

Respectable
Ah, it aint so easy is it? you almost lost your place.
And perhaps youre wondering how youre going to cope with your disgrace.
Well your wealth is well established and your friends were never few,
And all the things they told you of youre finding to be true.
Well if truth can free the guilty while the innocent must die,
Then I respect, respect, respect the coldest lie.
And you talk of human justice while you drive on fancy wheels.
And you push them to their limit just to see how nice it feels.
Well it doesnt really matter if shes living or shes dead,
You just drive away forgetting that your bumpers dipped in red.
Well if thats the kind of justice that our hall of justice claims,
Then I respect, respect, respect old jesse james.
And most cordially they caught you and they asked you to obey.
And they threw you into prison, just in case you could not pay.
Well king arthur jousted lancelot, who stole away his wife;
And your lawyers jousted with the court to save your precious life.
Well if living is what matters though you lie with every breath,
Then I respect, respect, the ones we put to death.
And you won your case most easily and soon you will be free.
But there will be a million more who lose their liberty.
Not because of what they did, but what they did not do:
They did not pay a lawyer or a judge to see them through.
Why, they had no friends to call on and they could not raise their bail.
Well if winning is what matters, I respect the ones who fail.

Justice Served
It’s foolhardy and naively absurd
Believing attorneys every word
When they with legalizing fury
Sum up their case to a befuddled jury
One must wonder if each witness
Could pass the grade in the test of litmus
Or if the sitting magistrate
Should the attorneys castigate
Too many cases are fraught with flaw
To render justice in a court of law
We hope the principles get what’s deserved
With proper decisions so justice is served
