The Heart of Battle
With a sense of hope
I dive into the heart
The heart of battle
The heart of battle
No enemy shall overcome me

Mighty Are The Meek
All ye courageous souls,
Living amongst the meek!
Step forth to the front line,
Enter the battle, join the fray.
For the dawn of battle is nigh!
Let not the enemy drag you down!
For you stand not just for thyself alone,
But also for the flickering souls!
Stand tall, on guard, hold the line!
Let thy battle lore strike fear,
In the heart of thy nemesis.
Let the Earth beneath thy feet
Join thee in thy lore!
Break the holds of fear and strife,
Step forth, advance, march on,
Stop not till thy enemy is defeated.
Stop not till thy goal is reached.
But bear forth in thy heart,
Mercy and compassion.
For devoid of them,
Thou art nothing but a mere beast.

Battle
It is time to fight.
For the battle has go on too long.
Don't worry I am ready.
For I will have my weapons with me.
No, not a gun or a bow and arrow to kill my enemy,
But with my heart and will to get better.
For I know this battle won't be an easy victory because
The journey to get to this point has been a hard one.
But if everything else fails I will still have an army.
For my friends and loved ones are battling with me.
Until I win back my land of happiness.

Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best; it removes all that is base. All men are afraid in battle. The coward is the one who lets his fear overcome his sense of duty. Duty is the essence of manhood.

He Entered Into Battle With A Blunt Edged Sword
He entered into battle with a blunt edged sword,
But he did not know quite why.
His sword selection was done without motive,
To battle and kill his fellow man.
So subconsciously he picked out this sword.
This sword not of this world, not out to cut to bleed.
But this innocent man didn't wish to realize,
What prize he would pay.
In midst of this battle, recieving the swiftest,
Blows from his enemy,
This soldier just kept getting hurt.
Five, six and seven more blows made him hit back,
This soldier proudly used his blunt sword,
Till his nemesis bearing a razor sharp one,
Came along and challenged the already fallen one,
Who gave a swift plunge into his enemy's heart.
But the enemy did not stagger or fall.
Neither did the soldier with the blunt sword.
This soldier's enemy left the battleground,
When he saw that the one with the blunt sword,
Knew all along the possibility of his death.
Still he fought, so he himself could die,
Which the other soldier was saddened by that man's stance.
He told that man, 'if we all fought battles with a blunt
sword,
Then we would all truly win,
For the battleground would know no mortality.
He further told him, 'because of you, your side
Truly wins. But so does our.
We love you,
Blunt edged sword soldier man.'

(Forgiveness Poem) An Open Battle Field
My heart is an open battle field
Shoot your bombs.
Lay your mines.
With every wound received.
I will be fine.
Swimming through the time
Let me hit the point of being numb.
Controlling the masses
Just bow down.
And take it in the rear.
Watch as you lose another one you hold so dear.
Falling off the radar.
Who are you?
What are you doing here?
Is this where the poor live?
How long do you think you can survive?
My heart is an open battle field
Shoot your bombs.
Lay your mines.
With every wound received.
I will be fine.
Swimming through the time
Let me hit the point of being numb.
The world is committing suicide.
Everyone just swallow your pride.
If you expect the help from others.
You got to give all you have give.
Lord in my heart let me forgive.
No matter my hated enemy.
My heart is an open battle field
Shoot your bombs.
Lay your mines.
With every wound received.
I will be fine.
Swimming through the time
Let me hit the point of being numb.
It is a forced occurrence.
Not as we want but as we must.
The rules of greed.
In heaven I concede.
Their can't be this hierarchy.
Ruled under one thumb.
The gloom of this darkness.
Follow the leader.
My heart is an open battle field
Shoot your bombs.
Lay your mines.
With every wound received.
I will be fine.
Swimming through the time
Let me hit the point of being numb.
The teachers, or the preachers?
How do we view one another.
Painting another pretty rainbow.
The colors of the perfected flaws.
Lets put everything on pause.
Just look at us.
Divided by nothing.
Yet communication is non existent.
With every second the meaning is yet to met.
Dire consequences.
My heart is an open battle field
Shoot your bombs.
Lay your mines.
With every wound received.
I will be fine.
Swimming through the time
Let me hit the point of being numb.
Grabbing the gun and knife.
Preparing to defends ones life.
All because we can't share.
Like little children we fight our wars.
With equality being important above all else.
Death to this diluted common practice.
Lets just be as we are.
Deny the skies all you want.
Their still there.
Hovering in the air.
My heart is an open battle field
Shoot your bombs.
Lay your mines.
With every wound received.
I will be fine.
Swimming through the time
Let me hit the point of being numb.
I'm already gone.
In a higher place.
In a world disapproving.
To my conclusion.
But I don't even care.
I don't believe in fair.
I expect to receive the worst.
Cause in this life we have been cursed.
But it is the only way we can learn.
With the heart it has to be earned.
With all that is good I'm concerned.
My heart is an open battle field
Shoot your bombs.
Lay your mines.
With every wound received.
I will be fine.
Swimming through the time
Let me hit the point of being numb.
We are men that have the ability to find choice.
With this we should rejoice.
But instead we try to remove it and the responsibility of it.
Should I be angry?
Should I be mad?
Should I try to destroy other men?
With hope I pray that I can be forgiven.
Evil is the intent.
The world is trying to circumvent.
Shortcuts to the end.
My heart is an open battle field
Shoot your bombs.
Lay your mines.
With every wound received.
I will be fine.
Swimming through the time
Let me hit the point of being numb.

Fighting The Enemy
You could have stayed back in the sun.
But you sail in the stormy ocean
You brave the cold nights
While the fire burns out in the hearth
You dive deep and climb high
Never choosing the calm, not afraid to die!
You could have stayed back in the sun
Enjoying peace and the mundane fun
But you choose the flower's thorn
You grab the bull by the horn,
You know you have to overcome and win
The battle against the enemy within!

Oh, Heart
Oh heart, oh heart, why must you beat?
Oh heart, oh heart, why must you weap?
Oh heart, oh heart, why must you hide?
Oh heart, oh heart, what lies inside?
Oh heart, oh heart, why must you cry?
Oh heart, oh heart, why do you despise?
Oh heart, oh heart, why are you weak?
Oh heart, oh heart, why can't you speak?
Oh heart, oh heart, why must you burn?
Oh heart, oh heart, why can't you learn?
Oh heart, oh heart, what went wrong?
Oh, heart, oh heart, can't you be strong?
Oh heart, oh heart, why are you blue?
Oh heart, oh heart, where are you?

Somewhere Near The Lomba River
The guns of enemy tanks are flashing
like bolts of thunder while I am glancing,
the night air is full of the smell of cordite
and luckily those shots are passing
while the armoured car draws to a sudden halt
for its gun to take aim and on my lips I taste salt
before the armour piercing shell is fired
and at a direct hit around me the crew exalt
before at speed we move on
and some more enemy Cuban soldiers are gone,
are burnt in the fiery hell
while my heart, my brain feels like stone.
An enemy shell strikes another armoured car
like a exploding flaming star
and I can smell torched human flesh,
while I wish to be away very far,
to be away from killing
and this chilling
kind of machination of machines and men
who at each other are firing
but to survive we battle on right through the night,
are still trying to find some more enemies in the broad daylight,
find two abounded stationary pristine enemy battle tanks
from which the enemy had run in fright.

Maybe Our Heart is Like
Maybe our heart is like an ear
For it can hear
Maybe our heart is like the skin
For it can feel
Maybe our heart is like a glass
For it can be broken
Maybe our heart is like an enemy
For it can deceive
Maybe our heart is like a butter
For it melts
Maybe our heart is like a dough
For it can be softened
Maybe our heart is like a plant
For it dies
Maybe our heart is like a cement
For it hardens
Maybe our heart is like a support beam
For it can be strengthened
Maybe our heart is like a monk
For it meditates
Maybe our heart is like a child
For it loves to play
Maybe our heart is like a fire
For it warms others hearts.

A Brave One
He has not had an easy life of late
He has battled his demons of despair
Just one of those who has known hard times
And his type of person not rare.
And yet he hangs in there and keeps on battling
And not all hope of success from him gone
A brave one he is not a quitter
And he will keep on keeping on.
He is one with a sense of humour
Though financialy embarrassed he doesn't find it hard to smile
He says life is a hard old battle
But the battle is worthwhile.
He has not known an easy time of late
But to despair he will not give in
He finds life such a very hard battle
A battle he is determined to win.

The Son That Grew From Lust.
I’m the son the grew from lust, my heart beat dust like a rust nail. I cursed the day I rush out the wound. To be consumed by hate. I’m doom to wait my salvation at state.
I’m the Son that grew from lust, I’m touch by hush. I try to push the tears out like rain clouds.
Lust, it’s such a crush to my soul; I don’t rush to the grave. Time is plush a mince to us. But, I don’t fight to get rid of this hurt that sink my heart, and leave me ajar.
Son, they say, “like father, like son”, but what makes a father leaves his son.
To battle with guns on the street, to battle with life that cheat, and to battle with hate that eat us.

I Am Your Don Quixote
I am your Don Quixote
But there is no armor for this heart
No protection from your eyes
There is no armor for this heart
Vulnerable I battle with your smile
There is no armor for this heart
From your beauty I cannot hide
There is no armor for this heart
Exposed I am tangled in only lies
There is no armor for this heart
Empty as every windmill that I find
There is no armor for this heart
I lay awake with open eyes

Wayward Sheep
They’re on a path and know not why, attracted by their heart and eye,
A path we would choose to forsake, is one which they chose to take.
Falling prey to the darkened one, who stands opposed to God’s Son,
Seducing believers like you and me, to follow the path of their enemy.
Through the power of his devices, Satan subtly allures and he entices,
Young believers to look and stray, from God’s light to his darker way,
As he seeks to deceive and destroy, a child’s life and the parent’s joy,
Who raised them in Truth and Light, only to fall into the darkened night.
The battle at hand, when implored, through prayer belongs to our Lord,
Though dark the battle seems to be, He’s the One to assure us victory,
The unchanging Lord, full of Grace, will choose the time and the place,
To draw that wayward heart to Him, and lead them from the path of sin.
When concerned parents do their part, to follow God with all their heart,
The final outcome we can be assured, rests with Jesus Christ, our Lord,
Who works in ways we don’t know, to help all His sheep learn and grow.
As the Shepherd leads lost sheep back, in ways that we as parents lack.
We may never know just how or why, our children can fall for Satan’s lie,
But the Truth of God shall overcome, for all Believers, not just for some,
And the Lord, Who changes not at all, will restore children when they fall,
So children He allowed us to raise, will walk with Him, all to God’s praise.

A Battle Within
Being nibbled on by The Spirit, through God’s Word, as you hear it,
Chipping away at the great divide, which has been built deep inside.
Removing the veil upon the heart, which hinders Truth Christ departs,
The only truth that sets men free, from the lies that bind you and me.
The Lord will not force your hand, to make you come to understand,
Those deeper truths in His Word, from the preaching you have heard.
The Lord shall use The Holy Spirit to, unveil your heart inside of you,
The heart that’s hardened by a life, that opposes God’s Will in Christ.
This opposition creates a war inside, a battle which cannot be denied,
A battle of one’s will and mind, where God’s Truth becomes maligned,
As you are stalked by the enemy, to blind your eyes so you can’t see,
The many pages of Scriptural proof, of God’s liberating Eternal Truth.
Now captive to Satan’s wicked plan, deceiving the heart of every man,
He’s at work to deceive man’s heart, so from the Truth they will depart.
But The Holy Spirit works patiently, helping your heart and mind to see,
That only God’s Truth sets you free, from Satan’s evil, twisted travesty.
We have not the spirit of this world, when his deception at us is hurled,
Instead we have the Spirit of Jesus Christ, if indeed, we have New Life.
As Believers we must turn from sin, while filling our heart with only Him,
Paying no mind to Satan’s reproof, as Christ leads us with God’s Truth.
The Heart Is Blind
I hear the slammin'of the door
There you go again
I can't take it anymore
That's just the way it is
But then I listen to my heart
And the anger fades
I wanna hold ya
Never let ya go away
[Pre-chorus]
I feel a ragging war inside
A battle between the heart and mind
But love wins when I close my eyes
[Chorus]
The heart is blind
It will not see
When hope is gone
The heart will still believe
I see you go
Through tearful eyes
But for the sake of love
The heart is blind
I know there's been alot of night's
When we couldn't sleep
The words are like a knife
They cut so deep
But when I listen to my heart
It's deeper than the pain
I really love ya
And that's all that matters anyway
Pre-chorus
Chorus
[Bridge]
I'll always love you
And hard times can only make us strong
If we keep holding on

A battle between soul and death
My body has become a battle field,
Battle, a fierce battle, I cried in pain,
As death comes and fights to pull the soul,
Nothing happens as death has no gain.
I have been a heart and gastric patient,
My body burns with a wound of heart,
And my heart burns with it's own light,
But soul and death wrestle part to part.
A great war took place in my body,
Death violently ordered to the soul to surrender,
But soul is not ready to surrender then war began,
Many souls and deaths saw the war and wonder.
What about my body? I shouted at them,
My body has been burning since long,
Listening this, death laughed and soul hit it,
Soul told me that “death is going to do you wrong”.
You go away otherwise the death harms you,
Soul strongly pushed to the death and saved me,
I forever pray to God to give strength to my soul,
I am very thankful to my soul to protect me like a bee.

Soldier
The soldier, he has many battle scars.
But there's only a few, others can see.
The wounds, they did not kill him,
They made him who he was called to be.
Although some of his battles were easy,
Through each of his battles he died.
The pieces, which were his true enemy.
Were the pieces that did not survive.
When the soldier, he goes into battle,
He must know who his enemies are.
They are the ones that would harm another,
And make the soldier, seem like he, was the star.
It is only once you discover the enemy,
The march to victory, then can begin.
For the war that the soldier is fighting.
Is the battle he fights from within.
In each of us there is a soldier.
And each day, we fight the good fight.
For the ones who walk into victory,
Are the ones who find their true light.

courage you won my heart, like
a battalion of army you conquer
my heart in the battle field of

my life. Your love is a seed plant
on my fertlie heart, as an eagle my
heart is and will always be your

Listen To Your Heart (An Ode To Courage)
But one simple, yet obvious fact remains, as has for nearly three years:
Love and hate have been engaged in a battle-love versus fears;
I am the truth of your heart, and your deceit is the manifestation
Of much, yet undue trepidation, as it relates to your future celebration
Of love in its myriad forms-now, the battle is between your heart and mind;
Your heart contains love as verity, yet your mind contains fears you need to leave behind;
Your mind contains a misplaced animus toward the love that causes your fright-
The courage I wish to impart to thee, is the strength to fight back, with all your might,
Any thought that this fear is permanent or rational-love's truth shall cause it to fastly fleet!
I, and others, may aid you along the way-yet, the battle's outcome must, before we truly meet,
Be a foregone conclusion-as circumstances seem to now indicate:
Time is needed to re-establish reality, from the delusion your fears helped to create;
In many ways, and by many personages, the power of truth has been extolled-
Now beloved, this very power is what your heart does resolutely hold-
To free you at last from the burden of your fears, to finally embrace
The love that has awaited you for your entire life, and which you may not efface,
By any means-either through an ignorance of your heart's exaltation,
Or by living the fallacy you have in the past-a dichotomous experimentation;
I have not been fooled by this charade, as I contain the truth of your heart's verity-
And the most salient advice I could e'er bestow, to impart the most prescient clarity,
Is to look to what your heart has told through all these many years:
Embrace the love that's in your heart-use this to banish all your fears!
