The Flesh Hand
Gods breathe everywhere
Fragile leaps across the Earth,
Subtle alterations
Creation's in birth.
Clowns construct, destruct, instruct
Belief in a flawless way,
Behind masks chaos unravels
Glimpsing birth while the dead decay.
Imagine beyond
Sense a future cast,
Seek living greatness
In dream worlds of the past.
Gods lay perfect plans
Inside every flesh hand,
Some accuse
And misunderstand.

As One Very Powerful Deity
Gods created the universe,
That's what numerous bibles state,
All life the creators did disperse,
Then they left us to our fate.
The miracle is the diversity of life,
Just how do we all survive?
Is it these Gods who give us strife?
Or do they help us to stay alive?
What came first the chicken or the egg?
I guess only the Gods can tell,
It truly is a question to beg,
It's like, is there a Heaven and Hell.
They must all be really clever,
As it was completed in six full days,
Work on the seventh, never,
That's their day to laze.
Could that mean that Gods needs rest?
Surely that can't be true,
I would imagine they'd all be full of zest,
Or I'd imagine chaos would ensue.
An endless cosmos forever evolving,
Keeping it safe is a major task,
Constant problems which do need resolving,
For our Gods help we all tend to ask.
They must be busy all year round,
Well apart from their day of leisure,
Wherever there's trouble to be found,
We all pray to our national treasure.
Humans believe in multiple Gods,
Yet religion can be so unforgiving,
That is why we are all at odds,
Dying is the reason we are living.
Before we pass we live in hope,
That to Gods Heaven we will ascend,
If we don't, how would we cope,
As past mistakes we cannot amend.
Who made them and who made their maker?
Or are they all just one big illusion,
If they are that would be an Earth shaker,
All that would do is create more confusion.
Myself, well I've been thinking hard,
If these beings are so high and mighty,
The creator of the Gods I would have to regard,

Dreams of Poetry
Some men dream for fortune,
others dream for fame.
Some to go where none have been,
most dreams are all the same.
Some men dream of lovers,
so do some for hate.
Many dream to die in peace,
and be let inside GODS gates.
Men do dream for peace on earth,
a son born first in birth.
Many still do dream has children,
and want their moneys worth,
But me I dream of pleasure,
for men who read my words.
I dream to be poet,
a poet whom is heard.
Heard and loved and wanted for,
what lies inside my heart.
When I dream of anything,
poetry is where it starts...

Nothing feebler than a man does the earth raise up, of all the things which breathe and move on the earth, for he believes that he will never suffer evil in the future, as long as the gods give him success and he flourishes in his strength; but when the blessed gods bring sorrows too to pass, even these he bears, against his will, with steadfast spirit, for the thoughts of earthly men are like the day which the father of gods and men brings upon them.

Dead Cow Farm
An ancient saga tells us how
In the beginning the First Cow
(For nothing living yet had birth
But Elemental Cow on earth)
Began to lick cold stones and mud:
Under her warm tongue flesh and blood
Blossomed, a miracle to believe:
And so was Adam born, and Eve.
Here now is chaos once again,
Primeval mud, cold stones and rain.
Here flesh decays and blood drips red,
And the Cow’s dead, the old Cow’s dead.

Gods
Gods of the white man,
Gods of the black man,
Gods of the almond shade
all of these Gods
have done one thing,
made the people afraid.
Gods of the red man,
Gods of the brown man
Gods of the yellow hue,
all of these Gods
have done the same
divided them into
Separate people
who've been led to believe
their God is the holy one
to save their souls
and pardon them
and deliver them
from earthly sin.
How can there be
so many Gods?
Isn't there only one?
One for every single soul
born unto this earth.
He's every color that there is
since the world's begun.

Have your day now.
Every birth has its growth,
Witnesses youth and glory
And unfailingly meets its death.
The mortal and the immortal are not exempted.
Gods and Kings not omitted.
Temples and religions not excluded.
The dead once had a day.
The one with a day soon is dead.
Have your day before you decay.

Earth
Words and music by tim staffell
I might be at a table
And suddenly Ill catch
A fleeting vision of her crystal seas
Or I might be standing in a crowded dockyard faraway
Underneath the sun Ive never seen
cos I have seen many worlds
For what its worth
But Ill never see again the planet earth
My earth
I might be chasing waves of light
Out towards the rim
Where stars are sparse
And the cold of space seeps in
But I might be in a bar room
Drinking methylated gin
And thinking of the places I have been
Yes I have seen many worlds
For what its worth
But Ill never see again the planet earth
My earth
I have seen many worlds
For what its worth
But Ill never see again the planet earth
My earth
Cast adrift amongst the stars
I float from sun to sun
Dreaming of the world that gave me birth
All the places I have been
Remind me there is none
To match the green living hills of earth
cos I have seen many worlds
For what its worth
But Ill never see again the planet earth
My earth

On the Tombs in Westminster Abbey
MORTALITY, behold and fear!
What a change of flesh is here!
Think how many royal bones
Sleep within this heap of stones:
Here they lie had realms and lands,
Who now want strength to stir their hands:
Where from their pulpits seal'd with dust
They preach, 'In greatness is no trust.'
Here 's an acre sown indeed
With the richest, royall'st seed
That the earth did e'er suck in
Since the first man died for sin:
Here the bones of birth have cried--
'Though gods they were, as men they died.'
Here are sands, ignoble things,
Dropt from the ruin'd sides of kings;
Here 's a world of pomp and state,
Buried in dust, once dead by fate.

Aurobindo 74 Savitri Book 4
An appreciation on Savitri-
Book Four: The Book of Birth and Quest
Canto One: The Birth and Childhood of the Flame
Words within inverted commas are Aurobindo's
'Arrived upon the strange and dubious globe
The child remembering inly a far home
Lived guarded in her spirit's luminous cell, '
'Harmoniously she impressed the earth with heaven.'
'Each minute was a throb of beauty's heart; '
'Near was her spirit to its parent Sun,
The Breath within to the eternal joy.'
Such was Savitri, such was fate's necessity..
'An occult godhead of this beauty is cause,
The spirit and intimate guest of all this charm, '
'Invisibly protected from our sense'
'This at a heavenlier height was shown in her.'
'An invisible sunlight ran within her veins
And flooded her brain with heavenly brilliances
That woke a wider sight than earth could know.'
Such was Savitri, such was fate's necessity..
'Outlined in the sincerity of that ray
Her springing childlike thoughts were richly turned
Into luminous patterns of her soul's deep truth,
And from her eyes she cast another look
On all around her than man's ignorant view.'
'For with a greater Nature she was one.'
'A new epiphany appeared in her.'
Such was Savitri, such was fate's necessity..
'And when the slow rhyme of the expanding years'
'Had honey-packed her sense and filled her limbs, '
Her solitary greatness was not less.
Many high gods dwelt in one beautiful home;
Yet was her nature's orb a perfect whole,
Immense and various like a universe.....
............My consciousness this moment,
O'Guru, I'm in awe....in invincible heights
Ineffable Thee embellishing poetic creation
My inquisitive apprehension, erring Thee may opine
May thereso, let Savitri in my self arise
Aroused thereso be knowledge and fortune

Imagine (Love Poem)
Imagine the world ….
….if you had never said “Hello”
Imagine the space….
….where you were meant to be
Imagine waking up….
….in a forever empty bed
Imagine the absent closeness….
….and perfect pleasures lost
Imagine a time….
….before your tender touch
Imagine the future….
….if fragile friendships end
Imagine the energy….
….we must spend to stop this
Imagine the heat….
….that our love will generate
Imagine the reward….
….of this lifetime together.

The Flower.
I.
The flower in its own scent breathes till it dies
As if the scent its very birth-breath were
(As love is life's) which, while it occupies
Like a mesmeric light the living air,
Feeds every portion of the tender hue
In which it manifests so subtly fair
The faery form, which as in a dream grew
Out of the dark earth with ethereal power
Quickening its limbs, as those of a babe who
Draws from its mother's life a vital dower
Of warmth and beauty, thrilling breast and brain
Till it too comes to birth — a perfect flower
With its own aura, like a subtle strain
Which must vibrate to every joy and pain.
II.
The seeing eye and hearing ear are fed
With nature's nurture, and the mind imbues
Earth and all things within it, even the dead,
With its own sap that with thought's mystic hues
Bourgeons in every waking hour, and e'en
When sleep does all the inner life transfuse
With its own radiance, and the unseen
Becomes a part of us too, as we were
Back in some other sphere where we had been
Before the new thought breathed in the old air,
And the new body budded into birth,
Making us all that we are now who bear
The signs in us of all the woe and mirth
That came and has gone on with man on earth.
III.
Far back in the unstoried past, whose rune
No sage has ciphered and no bard has sung,
In the beginning of the sun and moon
When e'en the oldest hill was very young —
Ah! then perchance the seed that was us first
Took root in th' mystic soil whence we have (Unclear
Under the very hand of God, and burst
Into the secret being it has had,
All through the enchanted aeons strangely nursed
From death to life between the good and bad;
E'en as it were a spirit-germ that grew
By some mysterious process, and was clad
E'en like the flowers with varying form and hue,
Till it ends in what all may end in too!

speaking Of Re-birth!
** SPEAKING OF RE-BIRTH!
Many a time it has been said, that despite my
prayers and fond wishes,
The soul must go through several re-births,
To absolve itself from all debts on this earth!
And those who committed acts of violence,
Must take re-birth to meet such an end!
It is indeed a reassuring and comforting thought,
That crime never goes unpunished in the eyes of
God!
Now what happens to all our courts of laws,
With hanging and life imprisonments galore? !
For the same offence you cannot punish a man
twice!
Do the advocates of ‘re-birth’ listen to such
advice?
Despite whatever has been said in re-birth’s
defense,
I have always prayed for Moksha without giving
offence!
My the Gods make my soul truly free, -
And if the soul must suffer re-birth, -
Well, let it not be me!

Sonnet: On Greatness
Greatness is not a thing, much like an art;
Some man turns great if on it he stumbles;
His greatness ceases, if he thinks, he's great;
Great is he truly who tho' great, humbles.
Greatness is not true greatness, self-proclaimed;
Greatness is not what world showers on us;
Greatness is neither got by being claimed.
Greatness is not achieved by making fuss.
Greatness could come if world decides to give;
Greatness will stay if God blesses our work;
Such greatness, God-destined comes while men live;
Greatness can grow even without much luck.
Greatness doesn't come to everyone on earth;
Some men are made great; some are great by birth.

The weak flesh
Dress of silky black dreams
and marble sphere's layers
Seek nocturnal desire.
Breathe, through her moaning legs.
Like the open wings of a swan,
swing at the blue sun.
Contemplate, the rise over the devil course,
upon the weak flesh.
So good that death, may be sweet in our tongue.
That no Gods temptations, and afterlife,
dead will never rise.
Blandness flash swallows.
Redeemed pleasure of cast lights.

Dead Alive
Mourned to be the one -
To wake -
To live -
To see -
To walk -
Alive but dead -
Days by day, my oasis lives by the colour of night -
Energies of the living, absorbed -
To live in the between of dead -
Peace to be found, the yard where we spade the graves -
Where tombs act the way of stones -
The dead of the flowers, vase the portrait of a future to be -
Flesh to earth, invested to be inverted -
Still born -
Aged we pass to birth -
To be boned -
To die in death

The Cosmic Plan
As Infinity stretches to twilight
Worlds go flashing by our sight
We are just on planet Earth
Stars that twinkle in the night
Laughing at our ridiculous plight
The trauma of our birth
And as we became a man
There was no guidance of a hand
We gained in weight and height
Slowly we began to understand
The universal plan
Was a turning to the light
We are creatures of the universe
There is no last: there is no first
Just what the father had planned
There's the miracle of death and birth
Plus your sense of private worth
And the brotherhood of man

The Flower
When unknown Gods
Planted the seed,
To blossom
In breathtaking colour and scent.
Such beauty we would always need.
But the flower of love
Always came and went.
Don't crush it in your hand
Don't rush it,
Understand.
Every second, every hour
Cherish.
But perish
Will your flower.
Now dried.
And dead in Winter field.
For others
Spring time will be revealed.
As fate does wait
The seeds are cast.
We agonise of Summers past.
To dwell and bathe in sunlit dew.
Where once
Our fragile flower grew.

The Dream Called Life
So it began with a flash of beams,
And they all thought it was just a mare dream.
Hoping to wake up one day,
And see that it was just a play.
But in the awaken of the sunrise,
Gave rise to something worth more than price.
It all started with a dream from heaven,
All it took was several days numbering up to seven.
To get this amazing dream on,
Even if it's still lukewarm.
Then came the birth of the stars,
And believe me it never remained dead like mars.
The dream kept on going,
And so like the air it kept on moving.
Until it got still for a while,
When it exploded like a missile.
And there it stood behold and begotten,
The finest of all creation from heaven.
A creation never seen before,
Never thought or heard of before.
And next was a breath of life,
A breath that's stronger than life.
A breath that brought about evolution,
A breath of divine resolution.
A breath that filled the lungs of men,
And gave rise to the world of men.
So the dream became more clearer,
For the generation of men was drawing nearer.
A generation of men of great kinds,
Made from the finest of all sands.
It still look like a mare dream,
But in reality creation it seem.
For they never understood,
How this extraordinary dream stood.
But in the end,
The dream gave birth to a world without end.
A life of justice, purity and happiness,
Full of love, joy and no sadness.
After giving birth to the world of humanity,
This dream will live on for all eternity.

Life on Earth
Our life is full of ups and downs;
No man is perfect ev’r since birth;
For perfection, we act like clowns;
God gives us freedom much on earth.
To waste our time or use it well
Is left to every one of us;
With God as Guide, who in us dwells,
Ev’n failures turn into success.
But try, we must our very best;
The Healer- Time, will then decide;
There’s much to do, before we rest;
In God, we must always abide.
Luck or pluck isn’t truly enough;
We ought to toil until the end;
With time, things turn to be less tough,
And God pays us rich dividend.
So, let the past not worry us;
We live for just the time present;
About the future, let’s not fuss;
To be ‘a testing ground’- world’s meant!
