The Essence of a Woman
The world says
It is difficult
To understand a woman
Because she is so full of contradiction
The world says a woman is full of
Vanity, jealousy, greed and ego,
Her mind full of insatiable desires
for wealth, luxury and lavish lifestyles
The woman charms and makes you swoon;
she has the skills and tricks
to lure, seduce, attack and conquer
to make or break homes and nations.
But I believe that a woman
Is a reservoir of love,
Overflowing with compassion, caring and giving;
For my mother, sister, friend and wife
Are the women who have enriched my life!
With a heart full of sweetness,
A voice soothing and delicate
A woman makes our troubles melt
With just her full, genuine smile.
Giving till it hurts is what women do,
Only to [be] hurt and accused
Of ulterior motives and wrong intentions.
The Kindness and tender feelings
That only a woman can give
usually go unrecognized.
I wish the world were kinder
To the kindest souls of creation!

The Women
This world is, because of the woman
this universe is, because of the woman
nothing exists without the woman
our existence is, because of the woman.
Why being a woman then
should be humiliation?
Why a woman then
should face indignation?
always the woman becomes the prey...?
always the woman has no say.....?
The woman is a mother, also a mother–in-law
the woman is a sister, also a sister-in-law
the woman has many roles to play
a daughter-in-law perfects that night & day.
Why then a woman does
torture another woman?
Why does a ma-in-law
torches a daughter in-law?
Why does a woman destroy another’s world?
Why does jealousy overcomes a sister-in-law?
In the woman, power is manifest,
yet she is unaware and that is a jest.
she becomes Durga when in rage
telling everyone, she is no sage
the woman is where, awakening is there
her absence creates crematoriums everywhere.
Why do then a woman abhor the birth of a female?
Wants a child, whose gender is male?
the male is indebted to her for the courage and life
yet no rewards for the woman, her entire life.
This is the story of the woman, full of anguish
Plight of a woman is because of another’s wish
Exploitation of the woman could not have taken place
Had a woman given the other a little more space.

A Full Figured Woman.....
A full figured woman
who is full of love
a woman who tries to fit in
and tries to show emotion
but can never do none of the above.
A full figured woman
who is full of peace
but no man wants to touch her
as if she's some type of disease.
A full figured woman
who puts her self down
who smiles in the crowd
who hurts her sense of worth
when no one's around.
A full figured woman
yes, thats me
i am all the woman i need to be
from the curl of my lips
to the curves in my hips.
Yes, i am a full figured woman
who is tired of being judged
but i will never be ashamed
for having more than one pudge!

You ARE A Woman :)
You are a woman,
A strong woman,
A grown woman,
One who WON'T give me what I want just cause I want it woman.
He needs you woman,
A loving woman,
Non-trusting woman,
One who knows the difference between right and wrong woman.
I found a woman,
You're one of em,
So many love em,
You just need to see the places you can be woman.
Hear me woman,
Don't fear me woman,
You're near me woman,
We all face strife, gotta change yo life woman.
See me woman,
No fake or frontin,
Can't be me woman,
For I am a man and you need to be a WOMAN!

Eighth Wonder a Woman
Which you are, Pretty and Smart;
eighth wonder of you, this woman of women
where my secret, she lives full therein.
The world made you to establish her,
and must now take her notice with great pride.
Greatest of greatest savants,
established for they would adapt to this mother
of woman the woman they now know she is.
Hard working her model of great womanhood.
Softness of heart by those few and but;
when she tries to say more to them.
You are great, take them there and make vast
wide all the more deeper a pond, no a lake from
that river of such simple need, you understand it.
In charge from the beginning and
you are what makes them all blind,
Woman of woman he can see it.
Why 'I' bear witness too your long lives,
because you can and thus within reach to touch
the others in blossom sweet.
Woman of creed, creed of woman you feed.
I say, It' from the depth of your full red Lips.
Their arms I will use; too balance my seductive
broad hip, against which must lean their tree.
l am at that stage of each and every stage,
whereupon now it is they must walk and as they
reach out to grasp and with compassion I know
Delirious each curve my deep strong why, they ask.
from it, Each Falling down, how they cry, more for it.
I am that woman of every woman whom ever wishes to be.
I enter the room the latter and leave as the latter, it seams.
Orange blooms are sweet to each man and as such to each.
He do I see, so I squeeze them, hard pressed they say it is
Because the men say that I am, Eighth wonder a Woman..
Even though... i am a man.

Her Hidden Treasure
Her flame was only for the women –
Not for us unlucky men;
A weakness lay for feminine way:
To feel an even fairer skin
In silky slide.
Her lips were for the satin love that
Only flows from rising breast;
The creamy tan was not for man
To pull towards a chiselled chest
In weathered hide.
Her hidden treasure down below
Would shy away from macho length
And only rouse upon the blouse
Undone by other sapphic strength –
In time, inside!

The Grenadain Woman
Yes me woman, from my womb life was borne
Yes me woman, the young ones prune by my hands
Yes me woman, with the coves that sways with the redeem of the heart beat, tup-tup, tup-tup, tup-tup, tup-tup
Yes me woman, with beauty unimaginable, soft to the touch
yes me woman, with the voice of a heavenly being, soft, gentle, comforting, encouraging
Yes me woman, determine to succeed with the strength from above
Yes me woman, the days have gone, long gone for her to depend on the strength of another man
Yes me woman, her time has come for the world to see her for who she really is
Yes me woman, creative, innovative, confident, intelligent, loving, kindhearted
Yes me woman, mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, lover
Yes me woman, The Grenadian woman.

A woman
A woman
Is a mother
A daughter & a wife
The only one to play
Three roles in one life
Full of love & affection
Concern & compassion
Patience & determination
Does
Everything for her child
A woman's heart
Is filled with passion
Suffers more
But complains less
Than men
When it comes to
Self-respect
She can fight like a tiger
A woman
Is no less than a man
Can do all that
The man does

Chauvinist
I’d never really comprehended such a mighty range of
Shapes and sizes down behind, it’s really rather strange:
The buttock muscle in a woman, overlaid with fat
Is actually such a focal point for men to want to pat
Or squeeze, and then to tease her if it’s eminently stout,
Or even risk a stay in clink to sting it with a clout!
After all, we men are tuned to be that way inclined –
And tho’ our needs are varied, girls, they’re all perverse of mind!
Best of all, our sacred dream: to see her shed her gown
When gliding to the shower for the ritual sponging down.
But then alas! With body lathered, oops! she drops the soap;
‘Please! ’ we beg her, ‘bend and bare! ’ But we can only hope!
I’m sure by now you get the picture – like a rule of thumb –
That men like me obsess all day about the fairer bum.

I Am Not A Woman...
I am not a woman that loves with a heart
I am not a woman that's silly and smart
I am not a woman with open wounds
I am not a woman that's more attuned
I am not a woman that you hold dear
I am not a woman that has no fear
I am not a woman that's loved or lost
I am not a woman that doesn't know the cost
I am not a woman that's hurting inside
I am not a woman that has no foolish pride
I am not a woman that can't look you in the eye
I am not a woman alone that cries
I am not a woman that's imprisoned with chains
I am not a woman that holds her will in vain
I am not a woman, or mother, or friend
or wife, or daughter, or one to depend
I am not a woman of all and more
Because I gave it away to the one I adore
what's left is all you see
Just a woman that truly believes
Do You Know Your Woman?
A woman who knows tenderness
in the way things are said
a woman who knows kindness
in the way a man looks at her eyes.
Do you know your woman?
She, a woman wanting your presence,
your tender words of praise,
challenge, comfort and caresses.
Do you know your woman?
She who wants to be in your heart,
your soul mate, craving your full ears
and focus, not just a mere appendix.

The ideal woman
Let us immigrate like birds
Looking for homeland
You are a woman
But you are not as all women
You are the homeland
You are a woman from among
Women of the world
The world …where is the world?
The world is a cave.full of nymphs
And you are the nymph of this world
I will write about you
Till I make you a saint...

In And Out Of Love
In and out of love with these women that come and go.
I'm no longer looking for the woman of my dreams,
But I am waiting patiently for a woman,
The right woman, to come to me,
To love me and never let me go,
So I can be the man to make her dream come true,
With God, and the love God gives me.
God's love is all I need, but God knows me,
What I want is to share this love,
This love from The Heavens above
With the one woman that makes me her number 1,
The woman that stands by me with nothing but love,
Forever and always,
I shall love her with God's love for all of eternity,
Like the rest of the women that have came into my life and left without Reason,
What they lost, will be found by the one who deserves it,
And my love will be with the woman who earns it,
Until then God's love is all the love I need,
And my love for right the woman, shall wait...
For the perfect woman,
And for the perfect time and place.

Like A Woman
Like a girl my baby aches
and like a woman she
tells all the world she never breaks,
but can’t break free of me.
Like a girl my baby takes
whatever she can see,
but like a woman never makes
her own way to be free.
Like a girl my baby wakes
when it is time to pee,
but like a woman fills like lakes
when we are I and she.
Like a girl my baby quakes
when we two disagree,
but like a woman she awakes
when she and I are we.
Inspired by Bob Dylan’s “Just Like a Woman”
Nobody feels any pain
Tonight as I stand inside the rain
Ev'rybody knows
That Baby's got new clothes
But lately I see her ribbons and her bows
Have fallen from her curls.
She takes just like a woman, yes, she does
She makes love just like a woman, yes, she does
And she aches just like a woman
But she breaks just like a little girl.
Queen Mary, she's my friend
Yes, I believe I'll go see her again
Nobody has to guess That Baby can't be blessed
Till she sees finally that she's like all the rest
With her fog, her amphetamine and her pearls.
She takes just like a woman, yes, she does
She makes love just like a woman, yes, she does
And she aches just like a woman
But she breaks just like a little girl.
It was raining from the first
And I was dying there of thirst
So I came in here
And your long-time curse hurts
But what's worse
Is this pain in here
I can't stay in here
Ain't it clear that
I just can't fit
Yes, I believe it's time for us to quit
When we meet again
Introduced as friends
Please don't let on that you knew me when
I was hungry and it was your world.
Ah, you fake just like a woman, yes, you do
You make love just like a woman, yes, you do
Then you ache just like a woman
But you break just like a little girl.

Woman Thou art Free
To be a woman there are certain characteristics that you embody
That set you apart, ain't nothing like a strong woman with a good heart.
Some say they curse the day God made woman, but only God understand that he created it
for us to see the good and the bad, life for some without a woman is really sad.
The woman was made to feel the pain and the man to work the land.
But in everything God had a plan.
Women have come a long way from the kitchen to the runway.
Women have broken down all barriers,
and have proven to be able to compete at all levels, so much that it marvels.
Women's long battle for equality and right have gotten them to unite.
Their strength and unity have given them the courage to embrace every opportunity
under the social and economical horizon;
they are now prospering over the men in the dozens.
They now take full advantage for all the times they've been denied passage.
Women have become leaders, more than conquerors,
strong educators, powerful motivators and labourers.
Yet women have not forgotten their role in the home, though some are not full-time.
A little independence is not a crime. But still they are able to make the house a home,
put food on the table, keep their lives stable
for at the end of the day, at home is where their hearts will always stay
so we thank God for Women's Day.

Scent Of A Woman
Now woman...scent of a woman
a man don't add up to much, next to a woman
a man can't ever forget the taste of a woman
a man is half the test, a man is half the best
a man can't understand the reasons why
a man's just a day in the life of a woman
just a few mintues a night to a woman
see what a woman can do
to the man inside of you
it's more than the sum of the sun and the moon
well a man is a man is a hell of a man
a man ain't a man in a one night stand
a man just don't stack up next to a woman
a man can't see what a woman can do
a man is no man hiding next to you
a man don't add up to much next to a woman
oohhh...the scent of a woman
the world would never be, except for a woman
it's hard for a man to see what makes a woman
even harder to impress, cause she expects the best
she never makes it easy to pass the test
well a man is a man is a hell of a man
a man ain't a man in a one night stand
a man just won't stack up next to a woman
a man can't do what a woman can do
a man is not a man lying next to you
and man will just give up next to a woman
oh yeah....here she comes now (here she comes now, she comes now, here she comes now)
here she comes now (here she comes now, she comes now, here she comes now)
well a man is a man is a hell of a man
a man ain't a man in a one night stand
a man just won't stack up next to a woman
a man can't do what a woman can do
a man is a man if he can get to you
all a man wants to do is get to a woman, yeah
yeah yeah x 16
yeah...the scent of a woman

Are Women Weak?
Around the world women
Are considered weak
Making them invisible
In most societies
Demarcation lines at front and rear
Women stand putting themselves in gear
Working in fear
'At home is where she should be'
But her inner eyes help her to see
That she will be free
Are women weak?
Doing the work of man
'Yes! they can.
Keeping the house from a band
Working as hard as any man
Are women weak?
Expecting nothing but doing everything
Enough to make ones heart sing
A goddess in her own right
Deeply crying in the night,
But never losing sight
Are women weak?
Taking up where the man left off
Leaving her the boss...
The unheard of she does
Her voice slowly whispers
'I'll be free the woman in me'
Punish me if you most
I can rise from the dust
Are women weak?
Having a child here and there
Maybe that is not fair,
And that make no delays
Even when the man is out to play
The best thing that ever
Happen to man for man
Is a Woman right in his hand
Given props to his plans
Thinking that world is his land
Forgetting of God's touch
Who loves woman just as much
'Foolish, foolish, man'.
Are woman weak?
Women suffer because men refuse to see
Woman is just like he
Man do not understand that
They are cool just keeping woman Fat.
Not in heels but in flats
Imagine that.
Are women weak?
The fear men have makes him strong
By God he know he's wrong
Still a woman works hard and long
Are women weak?
Woman no matter where you may be
You have a friend in me.

Her Bum
‘Does my bum look big in this? ’ She glared.
I gulped and stared upon the floor.
I must escape; the bedroom door
Was open. ‘Run! ’ my senses cried.
But I was numb – nerves were fried!
‘Well? ’ She scowled. I sought a subterfuge.
‘It’s absolutely huge! ’ I thought –
But how to tell her that–? A short
And blighted life she’d wreak on me.
And so to Wife, on bended knee
I prayed ‘Oh please release me from this hell! ’
She gave a yell: ‘So is it big? ’
I looked again – a mammoth rig
Was hanging down – but how to say?
An honest man would surely pay!
I stuttered ‘Err... well, yes it’s nice.’
Her voice was ice: ‘But in this? ’
I tried diversion with a kiss.
‘I love you’ also burbled out – but
I was heading for a rout.
I drew a breath. ‘Be a man! ’ I growled
Inside this howling, quaking head.
‘Well actually love, ’ and now I’m dead,
‘It’s colossal – a real whopper... ’
The bedroom shook; I couldn’t stop her.
I daren’t publish anymore…
