The Cutter's Suicide List
My friend Kayla Szpytek wrote this poem. She never thought her poems were good enough, but I took it upon myself to write some of them here for her.
She wrote his name upon her wrist
Did all the things from her suicide list
The cutter's suicide list reads,
Get a razor
Get a gun
Won't be long
'Till the job is done
Cut the veins
Blow the brains
Never again
Will it be the same
Shards of glass
Blood everywhere
Nobody notices
Nobody cares
Bath of blood
Shower stained

Let's play a game

The razor is the one that cuts the wrists
Drawing blood with every slit

I cant wait till death has comes
in this dark evening
i cut a vein, my razor sharp as ever

Thoughts of suicide grow
Why do i think like this?
Why cant i live in harmoney?
Why cant i live in bliss?
Suicide is like a virus
It devoured all that was pure

Wasting your life on the sidewalk
When you can be out on the street, dodging cars
As they go by, the wind goes right through you

Her Last Poem
She sat beneath a shaded tree
She thought for a while
She thought about her life
For the first time
She wrote her first poem
She sat in her desk at school
She smiled a lot
Because smiles meant happy
And she wanted happy
She frowned when no one looked

She wondered what they thought
