Thanks For The Thanks, But No Thanks
Altruistically assisting
Presuming I do help,
To bring us into surplus
Before the month runs out,
Fiscal obliteration
Resounds inside of thee
Transubstantiation
Your wealth relies on me...
Thanks for the thanks, but no thanks
Gratitude should be sincere.
Exhalation of your worries
As you offer up your hand,
“Thank you! For doing this!
You know you are the man? ”
A petulant retreat
To avoid transparency,
Of tearing inner conflict
Nearing calamity...
Thanks for the thanks, but no thanks
Indebted shamelessly!
Requesting more of I
Then I really have to give,
It’s just a job to me
But the future for your kids,
Insightfully placated
Accepting honour-bound,
Words of praise and thanks
Opinion turned around...
Thanks for the thanks, but no thanks
Understanding’s now austere.
Thanks for the thanks, its worth more
Then money, sweat and tears.

Temperance Hymn
God of our fathers! Thee we praise;
To-day, our grateful thanks ascend:
Accept these thanks-our cheerful lays
With organ's solemn chantings blend.
Thy grace the wretched drunkard found
Cast out, and weltering in his blood;
Now from his tongue doth praise resound-
He owes that praise to thee, O God!
Restored to virtue by thy hand,
The father, brother, son, arise;
From sin and wo reclaimed, they stand,
And swell thy praise with tearful eyes.
The mother, sister, daughter, too,
With tears of gratitude and praise,
Behold the change, and now, anew,
Receive their friends to their embrace.
No longer poverty and shame-
A sad inheritance-are theirs;
Their altered looks aloud proclaim
A happy change in their affairs.
Thanks, thanks, to thee, O God, we give!
What better tribute can we pay?
'T is on thy bounties that we live;-
We praise thee for this festal day!

A Hand For My Perfect End
Does it hurt so bad
So much to make you mad?
Does it rip your heart apart
So that your strenght depart?
Does it wear you inside out
And bring your tears running south?
Yes! It does more to me
For all the good there be
It turns my sweat crimson flood
And my wounded soul dripping blood
Yet through the death of some of me
Even in the midst of my solemn plea
I find this strenght within
And a voice chanting ' thou shall win'
So out with those pain and sweat- turned red
Out with those heat and south bound tears
Even my wounded soul that bled
And the host of my mortal fears
All shall this moment lend
A hand for my perfect end

To Mr. H. Lawes on His Airs
Harry, whose tuneful and well-measured song
First taught our English music how to span
Words with just note and accent, not to scan
With Midas’ ears, committing short and long,
Thy worth and skill exempts thee from the throng,
With praise enough for Envy to look wan;
To after age thou shalt be writ the man
That with smooth air couldst humour best our tongue.
Thou honour’st Verse, and Verse must lend her wing
To honour thee, the priest of Phœbus’ quire,
That tunest their happiest lines in hymn or story.
Dante shall give Fame leave to set thee higher
Than his Casella, whom he wooed to sing,
Met in the milder shades of Purgatory.

Sacred Ground
Iced over, close your eyes. whisper the flame, it takes us higher.
Seems our world is closing around. when Im inside you, you bring me to sacred ground.
When Im inside you, you bring me to sacred ground.
Now youre the one that I want, you know its true.
Let go of everything, open up to me.
Im right beside you, Ill be your watchful eye.
I send waves of devotion over you. you take it all in and give it back, give it back again.
You bring me to sacred ground, when Im inside you.
You bring me to sacred ground.
Yes well love till theres nothing left to give...
Matching every movement, swimming in an ocean of sweat, and scent of you. it drives me to ...
You bring me to sacred ground, when Im inside you.
You bring me to sacred ground.
I know I can change your mind. give it to me the same way.
Giving it all up for love, I know that you feel the same way.
Id give it all up for you, I swear I would.
Now Im falling, falling inside ...
You bring me to sacred ground, when Im inside you.
You bring me to sacred ground.
Im inside you.
You bring me to sacred ground, when Im inside you.
You bring me to sacred ground.

M: II: I Cannot Pay your Honour
I have sought to triumph over nothing,
have tri-ed,
have failed to -umph.
Honour is paid
By accepting honour.
By accepting honour,
I would honour trying,
would honour lack of -umph.
I cannot pay your honour.

Blue Skies Bring Tears
Unleash the armageddon
So all the children go to heaven
I sit by quiet still
With their pictures on my eyes
You'll draw the guns your given
Write down the words as written
And never disturb the presense
Of resurrection touch
And it's about time
It's about drawing near
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Descend the darkened stairway
Make hate with plastic playmates
And fire out remaining traces
Of your self esteem
Mainline the deepest secrets
Lick clean the dirty fingers
I am a stranger to you
As you are to yourself
And it's about time
It's about fear
Blue skies bring tears
Don't you want me (don't want you)
Cause I await cityside
We'll watch the seas start to die
Blue skies bring tears
Take me inside your body
Blue skies bring tears
Cover me with your soul
Blue skies bring tears
To the darkest reasons
Blue skies bring tears
Is where I wish to go
Blue skies bring tears
You are the sweetest flower
Blue skies bring tears
That I have ever devoured
Blue skies bring tears
I ask for nothing given
Blue skies bring tears
For nothing in return
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears

A Piece of Heaven for Me
I've read your words almost everyday
Sometimes they take my breath away
Sometimes they ignite deep within
Sometimes they make my head spin
Sometimes a little tearing din
Sometimes between the lines I fill-in
So many emotions long repressed
and sensations longing to acquiesce
I know now that I can survive
For your words make me know I'm alive
Your gift you give is straight from your heart
and gratitude to you is off the charts
No words adequate to express to thee
Always coming back for more you see
It's a piece of heaven for me

For he is my brother and my light
A tribute to your kindness in words is not enough
But a tribute to your kindness is surely a must
For that glowing faithful night is where it all begun
We were nothing but fun
Truly other halfs of the same coin
For you are my brother
Not by blood but by friendship and loyalty
The greatest kind of friendship
Where no matter what the deal i will always be there
Through thick and thin you are my brother
My little brother is just
The only other person i could trust
You have an open heart
And you never missed a part
You are the only one who tries
And you really did open my eyez
I put out my hand for i do understand
If i were to see you with out a smile
Id give you one of mine
For my brother
I am thankful god did not give him to another
You are the one i come to and share
The good thing is you never stare
For my brother it would be empty here without you
I would not know what to do
Well its been a year since ive met you
Time has passed so fast
And Im glad you are here to last
For it has been a blast
For i can remember when i had tears in my eye
It was truly a period of sigh
I look at how day had turned to night
And you had made it bright
And tonite as i pray and talk to my lord
I will thank him for this reward
A brother in the form of you
One who is honest and sincere too
Ooo i wonder wut i'd do
What id do without you
For your the one who wiped my tears
And stopped all those dreadful years
My brother helped me shed my tears
He is worth more then a few words he is worth years!
And
As i pray tonite i dont want to say goodnight
For when i wake i will not kno
If hes gone...a no show
One thing is this is all i know
For he is the reason why i now glow!

My Mother
Every one gives praise about their mothers
But none can give as much praise as me.
She brought me from a country
Where most lived in poverty.
She worked hard and saved her money
So that I may have a better life
She is an excellent mother
And to my father a good wife.
She has been there every step of my life
She turned bad things into right.
She has given me the strength to pursue my dream
For in me, there is something that she has seen.
She taught me how to love and respect
All that GOD has given
and to make life worth living.
Through her pregnancy and through my birth
She has given all her worth.
Then through my childhood years
To my teenage years, she was with me
To shed her tears.
when I was feeling down and out
And I wanted to scream and shout
She was there to wipe my tears
And put to rest, all my fears.
Even now that I am grown
all her love is still shown.
No one can love you more than a mother
And in my life there is no other.
So to my mother this is for you
You are my life, my love, my dream come true
And I am so thankful to you.

Neither was there any heresy, or diversity of opinion, or disputing about the matter, till the pope had gathered a council to confirm this transubstantiation: wherefore it is most likely that this opinion came up by them of latter days.

3..... the past not to be Framed In Shadows
the dark shadows of the past
bracket the the here and now of the present
and create a blinding mirage into a hazy future
our choice to stand so hopeless,
.......framed in the present
thus, locked into an unwanted future.....?
let us rather allow our light to shine so bright here in the now
in this we overcome the shadows of the past
and let the radiance of the present then mirror a future
possible, at long last, reflective introspection discovering deep inside
so, as shadows retreat fragments of the essence of Being surface
finding remnants of the essence of Being affirmned, still the same
finding values and priorities migrated to new dimensions in space and time
through this then
the fabric and texture of Being...., now wiser, .....more resilient
the resonance of mind harmonious quiter at peace
understanding and having overcome the shadows,
accepting the mirrored future, bearable-, and joy to be alone
soul no longer running the prairies with scavenging wolves, hungry for love
now present a man hand in hand with love.... belonging,
......no longer longing, ........the cracks, ok emitting light
and as waves of sorrow come at times, as it will, joy smooths the crests

Child Of The Future
What can I give you child of the future,
Child of the Universe grand?
Only my wisdom, calmness and peace,
Through years of making a stand.
To you who hold the world for us all.
Your beauty to shine through the land.
With such warmth and devotion and love for this life,
I offer to you just my hand.
Oh child of the future how soundly you sleep.
I wonder what your life will bring.
May it only bring goodness and beauty and light.
Nothing but wonderful things.
I watch as you sleep and know there is hope,
That the future is all in your hands.
You're the child of the future, the child of our dreams.
The one to bring life to our lands.
What can I give you, you wonderful child,
As you rest at peace in your bed.
I can pass on my knowledge, my wisdom
And learning, and place it all inside your head.
Oh child of the future let love overthrow,
Evil with all that it means.
You're the next generation, I want you to know,
You're the product of all of our dreams.
So rest in your small bed and know as you sleep,
I'm standing beside you so strong.
As you take your path, be it ever so steep,
I'm walking with you all along.

Praise Women
Praise them! Praise Women!
I read his words, then I cried, O these lies
How can a woman’s love lie only between her thighs?
Foremost I admired him, his work was set on another stage
Later I concluded his words of women were words of rage
Praise them! Praise Women!
For on the faces of all women you can trace
The elements of sacrificial suffering in their gaze
To hear him say women are libidinous
Is not hilarious, rather I deem it as outrageous
The women we all know have it tough
Every aspect of their life is embroiled with rough
Life cycle periodic pains and yet enough is not enough
Their agonising vaginal birth anguish isn’t a bluff
Praise them! Praise Women!
Why curse the women that raise thee
Wait for you blindly in love while you are at sea
Aid you in your visions of where you want to be!
They bring us joy, love and peace
Something I request no one to dismiss
If only he could see their potential essence
He may have appreciated their very presence
On earth, women’s love is the voltage of balance
The very reasoning of all kinds of romance
They give rise to our population
By endless copulation and multiplication
Which in turn gives rise to all the nations
Praise them! Praise Women!
We need them in our mist!
For without them we cannot exist
Praise them! Praise Women!
Praise onto the women that raise thee!

Cry for her
I really cry and feel for her
She is above all and no other
Can take her place with me
She is another name of thee
How to express personal gratitude?
She has bathed me even when I was nude
She will laugh all the time at my naughtiness
She will smile all the time with all brightness
Flowers blossom in the garden
No one feels it as burden
Mother too brings kid up
This is winning for her and triumph
What does she speak of child?
Sweet words even if I go wild
She will run after me for few steps
Take me in lap and offer no slap
She may try to cool me down
Make me to sleep at the cost of her own
She won’t mind if I piss in bed
Try to make me happy even if she is sad
She won’t allow me to cry
Number of tricks she may try
She will try to please me all the times
I will cause her worry sometimes
What does she expect in return?
Future security or reward in turn
I think it is wrong notion
She is down with always commotion
She may ask for nothing
Always wish for something
We may forget her great dedication
She may always willingly give indication
Today I miss her when she is not here
She has gone from here to somewhere
I don’t what she will be doing
But I feel she may be praying
I allow few tears to drop
It may mix with clay and help to grow crops
As earth may want some blessings from mother
I can feel for it and silently offer

Let us create wealth for me..(the investors)
Creating wealth is very simple:
If you have three pay slips,
You can buy that expensive car,
Drive through the street on par.
You can buy an apartment in down town,
Where you can find people of your kind,
Electronic gadgets are inexpensive,
And you can change them as you wish,
Fancy restaurants are too many,
Where you can spend your hard earned money,
Creating wealth is not a problem to me,
As long as people like you around me,
I am an investor with huge oil money,
He is an accomplice to steal the honey,
We are the people behind the curtain,
Creating the wealth for certain,
Keeping you as indebted as you are,
We create the wealth,
Above the ground,
Creating wealth is very simple,
If you have three pay slips.

Money O! Money
Money, money and money,
The world runs after money;
Some die ‘cause of money,
And some die for money.
The money rules the world,
The world is its creator.
But now the world is afraid -
For the money has turned to be its destroyer.
The money is the ruler,
The world is its slave;
The money has turned the world -
Into a grave.
The money drew the line -
Between the rich & the poor;
The money created infelicity,
That’s to be sure.

What Is Happiness?
I rest my laurels and just move on,
for praise I do not need.
It's enough for me to be happy inside.
On this is what I feed.
And what happiness do I know?
Is it always here?
No, it's not but when I feel it
it's usually from what I hold dear.
Loving voices with words sincere,
compassionate ways that bring a tear,
musical sounds I do revere
and my family to which I do adhere.
And what more should I expect from life?
Nothing more than this.
All these things that bring me peace
are like a passionate kiss.

Long Life
Baby , you told me your life is wrong
And theres no sense in seeing it through
But Ive got my eyes open all the time
And Ive been waiting for you
Dont try to tell me its over
You cant believe it yourself
Just put your hand on my shoulder
And dry all your tears, take your heart off the shelf
cause its a long life and well worth the living
You still got your heart and its well worth the giving
Give yourself to me
Just you and me
Im just a guy from outside your world
And theres no words that I can say
But Ive got a feeling that youre the girl
To take all my love and just run away
Dont try to tell me its over
You cant believe it yourself
Just put your hand on my shoulder
And dry all your tears , take your heart off the shelf
cause its a long life and well worth the living
You still got your heart and its well worth the giving
Give yourself to me
Just you and me
(break)
Dont try to tell me its over
You cant believe it yourself
Just put your hand on my shoulder
And dry all your tears, take your heart off the shelf
cause its a long life and well worth the living
You still got your heart and its well worth the giving
Give yourself to me
Just you and me
cause its a long life and well worth the living
A long life and well worth the living
Its a long life
