Thank You Daddy

Thank you daddy
for staying strong
for not giving up
when things went wrong
when mommy died
you held me and we cried
you raised me on ur own
and since then we've grown
thanks for telling me i make you proud
and I'm most important in the crowd
thank u for showing me u care
and for always being there
everything you do
u keep me in mind
thanks for being the best dad

Daddy Died Mommy Cried The Little Girl Laughed

Daddy is dead
Mommy shakes her head
They say Mommy poisoned him
And all the little girl can do is laugh

The little girl wanted to shout joyfully
It was all the little girl's fault
The little girl poisoned Daddy
Finally the little girl's revenge

Mommy and Daddy used to beat the little girl all the time
Mommy would watch and laugh while the little girl screamed
Because Daddy was raping the little girl

Mommy & Daddy

Ask your mommy and daddy, what happened to the indian?
How come theyre all living in places
With too much snow or too much sand?
Tell your mommy, I got a funny feeling deep inside of me
Ask your daddy, is it really as bad as people make it seem?
Wa ta tick it ta too too..
Ask your mommy why everybody swallows all those little pills
Ask your daddy why that soldier doesnt care who he kills
After theyve put you to sleep and tucked you safely down in your bed
Whisper, mommy and daddy would you rather that
I learned it from my friends, instead?
Do you think Im to young to know, to see, to feel, or hear
My questions need an answer or a vaccuum will appear
Dont be surprised if they turn and walk away
And tell your mommy and daddy that you love them anyway
That you love them anyway...
Give them a kiss
Love will set you free
Kings of emi
Mommy and daddy (alt.)
Ask your mommy and daddy, what happened to the indian?
Ask your mommy and daddy to tell you where you really came from
Then mommy and daddy will probably turn and quickly walk away
Then ask your mommy and daddy who really killed j.f.k
Wa ta tick it ta too too...
Ask your mommy if she really gets off on all her - all her pills
Ask your daddy, why doesnt that soldier care who he kills?
After theyve put you to sleep and tucked you safely down in your bed
Whisper mommy and daddy,
Would it matter if the bullet went through my head?
If it was my blood spilling on the kitchen floor
If it was my blood, mommy, would you care a little more?
Dont be surprised when they turn and start to cry
And tell your mommy and daddy, tell your mommy and daddy
Scream it to your mommy and daddy
Theyre living in a lie, a lie, a lie
Its all a lie, a lie, a lie
A lie, a lie...

Daddy Why?

Daddy why did you leave Mommy before I was born?
Daddy why weren't you there for my birth?
Daddy why did you divorce Mommy when I was only five months old?
Daddy why did you day those mean things about Mommy?

Daddy why weren't you there for my first birthday?
Daddy why weren't you there when I took my first step?
Daddy why weren't you there when I got hurt?
Daddy why weren't you there when I became a teenager?

Daddy you're not going to be there when I turn 16.
Daddy you're not going to be there when I graduate from high school.
Daddy you're not going to be there when I get married.
Daddy you're not going to be there when I have children of my own.

Daddy you're NEVER going to be here.
Daddy you had a choice.
Daddy I chose too.
Daddy I NEVER WANT TO BE LIKE YOU!

I will never be...That Girl

there's this stereotype
of a guys type
a girl that every guy wants to sleep with
but never wants to be with
that girl

daddy's little girl
who never had a daddy in this world
who grew up all too fast
and did whatever to make up for lost past
that girl

the girl who wanted to be just like mommy
not knowing that mommy
would be the cause
of her insecurities
that girl

i will never be that girl
i refuse to be that girl
i feel sorry for that girl

Results Of Any Choices Made

I've never found it acceptable,
How grown people still use their childhoods...
To make continued excuses for themselves.
With the seeing of psychologists, psychiatrists...
And others designated to be certified,
To professionally analyze their minds.
With a trying to get them to realize and find,
That a being held accountable with a clarity...
For one's own decisions made,
Is no longer the responsibility of mommy and daddy.

However...
Mommy and daddy should have been arrested...
A long time ago,
For permitting such spoiled children...
Access to beliefs,
They were entitled to point blame on others.
With a dismissing of strict discipline,
To ensure those now thoughtless knew the difference.
Mommy and daddy could be 'sentenced' for not doing this.

BUT...
Regardless of what should have taken place?
The results of any choices made are clearly to be,
What they are as seen from what has been selected...
To represent the best of efforts allowed and condoned.

2,000 Man

Well, my name it is a number
Its on a piece of plastic film
And Ive been growin funny flowers
Outside on my little window sill
And dont you know Im a 2,000 man
And my kids, they just dont understand me at all
You know, my wife still respects me
Even though I really misuse her
I am having an affair
With the random computer
But dont you know Im a 2,000 man
And my kids, they just dont understand me at all
Oh daddy, proud of your planet
Oh mommy, proud of your sun
Oh daddy, proud of your planet
Oh mommy. proud of your sun
Oh daddy, your brains still flashin
Like they did when you were young
Or did they come down crashin
Seeing all the things youd done
Spacin out and havin fun
Oh daddy, proud of your planet
Oh mommy. proud of your sun
Oh daddy, proud of your planet
Oh mommy. proud of your sun
Oh daddy, your brains still flashin
Like they did when you were young
Or did they come down crashin
Seeing all the things youd done
Spacin out and havin fun
But, dont you know Im a 2,000 man
And my kids, they just dont understand me at all
But dont you know Im a 2,000 man
And my kids, they just dont understand me at all
Understand me, u-understand me, u-understand me, now understand me
But dont you know Im a 2,000 man
And my kids, they just dont understand me at all
But dont you know Im a 2,000 man
And my kids, they just dont understand me at all
Im a 2,000 man, Im a 2,000 man

What Children Worry About

Mommy

Mommy, mommy
what’s going on in the world today?
Mommy am I going to be OK?
I heard some kids were wearing bombs
and blowing people up..
Mommy their world is very far away.
They can’t come here, right mommy?
Am I going to be OK.

Written: July 17,2007

Daddy

Daddy, daddy

I asked mommy some questions yesterday,
and tears were in her eyes.
She’s really scared daddy,
I know the reason why.
The kids with bombs,
might be here in our schools.
They won’t listen to the rules.
Mommy is really scared that one day,
you’ll both have no choice but to send me away

Written: July 17,2007

Mommy, Daddy

Mommy, Daddy, there’s no reason to fear
I figured it out late last night.
I said the words for God to hear.
I know He knows all things
and will do what’s right,
sooo… we say the words for God to hear,
everyday and every night.
Guess what Mommy, Daddy
everything will be alright.
Mommy, why are you still crying? ? ?

Woke Up With A Monster

Words and music by rick nielsen, robin zander and tom petersson
Hush little darling, dont you cry.
Daddys coming home, coming home tonight.
No bed of roses for your head, for you.
You see no future, its all in the past.
This is a nightmare, wont be your last.
Its hard to admit, its hard to admit youre that blind.
Mommy and daddy dont see eye to eye.
Mommy and daddy dont see when we cry.
Mommy and daddy they dont understand.
Whats wrong with this picture, is right in their hands.
Sleeping with an angel. ah.___
Woke up with a monster. ah.___
Sleeping with an angel. ah.___
Woke up with a monster. ah.___
Hush little darling, dont be long.
Mommas little angel cant do nothing wrong.
No bed of roses in your head, for you.
Wholl dry your tear when you cry?
Daddys comin home just in time.
Will, he be the one to make it, to help make it right?
Mommy and daddy dont see eye to eye.
Mommy and daddy make each other cry.
Sleeping with an angel. ah.___
Woke up with a monster. ah.___
Sleeping with an angel. ah.___
Woke up with a monster. ah.___
Not sleeping with an angel. ah.___
Not sleeping with an angel. ah.___
Mommy and daddy dont see eye to eye.
Mommy and daddy dont hear when we cry.
Mommy and daddy dont see eye to eye.
Mommy and daddy dont see when we cry.
Mommy and daddy they dont understand.
Whats wrong with this picture, is right in their hands.
Sleeping with an angel. ah.___
Woke up with a monster. ah.___
(repeat 2x)
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
No! no! no! no! no! no! no! no! no.

Dont Cry Daddy

(words & music by scott davis)
Today I stumbled from my bed
With thunder crashing in my head
My pillow still wet
From last night tears
And as I think of giving up
A voice inside my coffee-cup
Kept crying but
And ringing in my ears
Dont cry daddy
Daddy, please dont cry
Daddy, youve still got me and little tommy
Together well find a brand new mommy
Daddy, daddy, please laugh again
Daddy ride us on your back again
Oh, daddy, please dont cry
Why are children always first
To feel the pain and hurt the worst
Its true, but somehow
It just dont seem right
cause evry time I cry I know
It hurts my little children so
I wonder will it be the same tonight
Dont cry daddy
Daddy, please dont cry
Daddy, youve still got me and little tommy
Together well find a brand new mommy
Daddy, daddy, please laugh again
Daddy ride us on your back again
Oh, daddy, please dont cry
Oh, daddy, please dont cry

Pray for your daddy girl
Your daddy just sick
Pray for your daddy girl
Before he go and get another hit
Pray for your daddy girl
So it can all be over with
Pray for girl
Mama wait, answer this
Why when I keep on praying he keep on doing the same ole bull shit
What is a five minute high better than what we give
You keep telling me to
Pray for your daddy girl
But when I do
My prays never come true
Pray for your daddy girl
All good things will come to you
I love him and thats a fact, but does he loves me more than he love crack

The Diary Of A Young Girl (diary From An Angel)

Dear Diary,

Daddy was on the couch again
Mommy left again.

I walked alone to school today,
Somtimes i feel alone, sometimes I feel like a real lady.

My friend left me at lunch,
I was alone, I miss her a bunch.

I got a bruise from daddy,
He told me I have to do what he says, and call him daddy

Mommy got home late tonight,
But thats no different from every night.

Daddy put me in bed with him,
I said I didn't want to, but he made me do it with him.

I cut myself, I cut my arm,
I sat and did my own harm.

Daddy and mommy were yelling,
Please don't tell, the don't know I am telling.

Daddy threatened me,
He said I ruined his life, and that I can't start new.

Mommy said I was nothing
God said she's bluffing.

Daddy killed mommy today,
As I sat and watched today.

Mommy left me alone here,
I can't feel her near.

Daddy says I'm his now, his to enjoy,
That my body is his toy.

Daddy cut through my body,
He didn't stop, even when i said I had to go potty.

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I met god today
I saw mommy's face again today.

I don't want to see daddy again,
Not after the pain he's left with me, with nothing to gain.

I left him alone in the world,
I left him alone.

He hurt me yesterday, that's all I know now,
I'll never forget...... I don't know how

To Daddy

(dolly parton)
Mama never seemed to miss the finer things of life
If she did she never did say so to daddy
She never wanted to be more than a mother and a wife
If she did she never did say so to daddy
The only thing that seemed to be important to her life
Was to make our house a home and make us happy
Mama never wanted any more than what she had
If she did she never did say so to daddy
He often left her all alone but she didnt mind the staying home
If she did she never did say so to daddy
And she never missed the flowers and the cards he never sent her
If she did she never did say so to daddy
Being took for granted was a thing that she accepted
And she didnt need those things to make her happy
And she didnt seem to notice that he didnt kiss and hold her
If she did she never did say so to daddy
One morning we awoke just to find a note
That mama carefully wrote and left to daddy
And as we began to read it
Our ears could not believe it
The words that she had written there to daddy
She said the kids are older now they dont need me very much
And Ive gone in search of love I need so badly
I have needed you so long but I just cant keep holding on
She never meant to come back home
If she did she never did say so to daddy
Goodbye to daddy

T'was the Night Before Christmas

Her mommy was sound asleep, Her daddy was on the couch, Watchin' the T.V, She got up to use the potty, Hopefully he wouldn't see, Then she got back in her bed, She heard him walkin', And fallin' on the walls, 'cause he was drunk,

Then she prayed: 'Hopefully he wouldn't slap me, Please don't let him kick, Please not a bite or a scratch, Not even a knick, Please don't let it happen, Not on this wonderful night...', Then he opened her door, Grabed her by her neck, What a horibble sight, He put her down with a slam, Grabed her by her hair, And pulled her down the hall,

She screamed, She kicked, Then she yelled, 'WHAT DID I DO? ' After that he let go, He punched, He hit, There was nothing she could do, But lay there and cry,

Then her mommy screamed at her, For making her daddy angry, Mommy grabed a beer bottle, Then through it a her head, Her mommy said 'clean up this mess then go back to bed', She did as her mommy said, Then her mommy grabed her daddy by the arm, And went back to bed, Then she noticed she was bleeding from her head,

She grabed the phone and called 911, But I guess they were to late, 'cause when they got there, She was already dead,

T'was the night, Before christmas, The same night that little girl died, If you listen closely, You can still hear her cry.

Hey, dad.

Hey dad, thanks for showing me you don’t really care.
And thanks for saying you won’t always be there.
And hey dad, thanks for showing me what I’m really worth
And always making me feel like dirt
Hey dad, thanks for being fair,
And telling me nether you or the world care
Hey dad thanks for telling me I’m worth shi t,
At the same time everyone else did
Hey dad, thanks for hearing me cry,
And never even caring why
Hey dad, thanks for seeing I hurt,
And still decide to treat me like dirt
Hey dad thank you for being hard,
And always playing the “bad seed” card.
Hey dad, thanks for the good work ethic.
And telling me everyone else can f it.
Also, telling me no boy wont like me more.
For what’s on the outside, for being a whore.
Hey dad, thanks for showing me work
Is more important then the children your wife birthed
Hey dad, I changed my mind.
Forget what I said, I wont try to be kind.
You get into my mind, you wont win this time.
I’ll tell you the truth, I’ll tell you for real
And hopefully this time, you’ll feel what we feel.

An Unborn Child's Poem

Today my life began, but some say I’m not a real person yet,
Yes they say only Mommy exist, because me they have not yet met.

But just like a small crumb of bread is yet truly a bread,
My Mommy is and so am I, so they once in the Bible have read.

Yes for even when I was made in secret,
God saw even the embryo of me,
In a fear-inspiring way, I am wonderfully made,
even now to be.

Just think in a year or so, I shall be laughing and later talking,
Mommy and Daddy will be the first to see me walking.

Only 20 days, but my heart is beating on its own,
Gently beating, whispers of a lovely tone.

I am to be a girl, with blond hair and blue eyes,
I am growing a bit every day, and becoming very wise.

I want to learn to sing and dance,
To giggle and love at every chance.

To make Mommy and Daddy very proud of me,
When I become a young lady to be.

When I graduate, I want to be an artist or maybe even a scientist,
I know Mommy would support me, even if I pick another one on my list.

Tup-tup, tup-tup, are you listening Mommy to the whispers of my heart,
Suddenly today I feel differently on my part.

I scream with silent tears, “No Mommy I’m not ready to come on out,
I wonder if she hears my little shout.

I love you Mommy, I need more time to be with you,
I love you Mommy, Do you love me too.

I want to get married, and have my own kids to love and to hold,
To treat you nice and take care of you when you and I grow old.

My hopes and dreams disappeared in a instant and suddenly without a thought,
Mommy did not stop to think how very hard for my life I did fought.

Yes today I took my last little breath, never to have a chance to see,
The possibilities that I can be, Because today was the day that my Mommy killed me!

Rickie (Wants A Man Of Her Own)

Well look out mama your little girl she has changed
She cut her baby curls
And she's got her act rearranged
Look out daddy what she needs now
She can't find at home
Oh rickie wants a man of her
She wants a man of her
Rickie wants a man of her own
Mama says her little girl won't talk to her anymore
She just goes in her room, turns on the radio and shuts
The door
She's got her own bathroom, tv, stereo, extension phone
Oh, but mama, rickie wants a man of her
She wants a man of her
Rickie wants a man of her own
Well daddy says when he drop her off friday night at the
Gym
She slides way down in the front seat
So the kids won't see her with him
She don't do no work
She won't tell nobody when she's coming home
And she makes poor daddy wait down on the corner
At midnight all alone
Well daddy's pullin' out his hair
He says that girl ain't got no direction
She don't care to bring her boyfriends home
To pass daddy's inspection
Now we're left peeking through the curtains
Everytime that we hear a horn blow
Well i guess rickie wants a man of her own
Mama says: "son, talk to her, she'll listen to you"
Yeah, she listens real nice and she does what she wants
To do
Well daddy says: "she wears her jeans so tight
Well, you change 'em or you're staying home"ah, but daddy, rickie wants a man
Of her
She wants a man of her
Rickie wants a man of her own
She's almost grown
Rickie wants a man of her
She wants a man of her
Rickie wants a man of her own

Daddy daddy, come and look, (come and) see what I have found
A little ways away from here, while digging in the ground
Come away melinda, come in and close the door
That things just a picture book they had before the war.
Daddy daddy, come and see, daddy, hurry, do!
(why) theres someone in a (party/pretty) dress and shes all grown up just like you
(wont you tell me why)
Come away melinda, come in and close the door
(that) someone is your mommy, you had before the war.
Daddy daddy tell me (please tell me) if you can
Why things cant be the way they were before this war began?
Come away melinda, come in and close the door
The answer lies in yesterday, before they had the war...

Would You Tell Me I'm Wrong?

would you tell me i'm wrong?
for having mixed emotions in my head,
don't know what to do,
mind says one way to fix the problem
heart says another to way to fix the problem,
which way do you go?
can't stand the pain,
or that i now have to deal with it,
would you tell me i'm wrong?
for not wanting to stay?
friends and family,
but, is that enough?
to remain strong, till i find a way through?
would you tell me i'm wrong?
because pain make urges,
strong urges that make the mind take over,
and say i don't care,
let me have what i want,
would you tell me i'm wrong?
because i'm not the girl,
you once thought i was in the begining,
because of the $#it i've been through,
starting to make me want one thing,
would you tell me i'm wrong?
because i want to end my life,
because i'm sick of dealing with something,
that just wasn't my fault in the first place.

So Bad

When you move electricity pulses And the crowd clears out of your way When
you dance it gets a little explosive So look out I think I'm headed your way
I'm movin' in fast Comin' on strong Baby, you're becoming my number one
You're so bad (so bad)
Ooh, the best I had Dancin' like you wanna make your daddy mad
You're so bad (so bad)
Ooh, the best I had I'm comin' in fast Comin' on strong
You're dancin' like you wanna prove your mamma wrong
When you talk to me I'm not even listening It's your lips not in the things
that you say When you walk it's not about your direction It's a chance to
see the way your hips sway
You know, I'm comin' in fast Comin' on strong Baby, you're becoming
my number one
You're so bad (so bad)
Ooh, the best I had Dancin' like you wanna make your daddy mad
You're so bad (so bad)
Ooh, the best I had I'm comin' in fast Comin' on strong You're dancin' like
you wanna prove your mamma wrong
I bet you never hear no Bet you get what you want There's no one who'd dare
deny you And if you feel insecure If in doubt, if unsure A mirror will
surely remind you You're so bad (so bad)
So bad
You know, you're comin' in fast Comin' on strong Baby, you're becoming
my number one
Because you're so bad (so bad)
Ooh, the best I had Dancin' like you wanna make your daddy mad
You're so bad (so bad)
Ooh, the best I had You're comin' in fast Comin' on strong
You're so bad (so bad)
Ooh, the best I had Dancin' like you wanna make your daddy mad
So bad (so bad)
Ooh, I bet you're glad You're comin' in fast Comin' on strong
You're dancin' like you wanna prove your mamma wrong
So bad
