It was said that courage is the mastery of fear…
But not the total absence of it…
I was afraid to love,
I was afraid of pain.
I was afraid of big responsibilities,
I was afraid of having serious priorities…

Courage' Is A Poem I Have Always Had Difficulty Writing
'Courage' is a poem I have always had difficulty writing-
Worry and fear and doubt and question
Have always been so much easier-
True – at certain points – when required
I have forced my will against myself-
But naturally easily gracefully
I am not brave and no hero-
Still in old age
I need strive for
Quiet courage
Not to give way to despair
To fight to the end
For whatever is worth fighting for
To be strong as possible
For those one loves
To not give up and to not give in-

I cant fight this feeling any longer
And yet Im still afraid to let it flow
What started out as friendship, has grown stronger
I only wish I had the strength to let it show
I tell myself that I cant hold out forever
I said there is no reason for my fear
Cause I feel so secure when were together

The dark knight has come
Fighting for his moment

Lights and Shadows …
The more you escape to the light,
The more you walk in the shadows,
Yet while we walk in the light, we become blind,
Blind to the sin,
Blind to the greed,
Blind to the lust,
Blind to the evil,
While we walk in the shadows our eyes adjust,
We see the lies,
We see the courage,
We see what we must do,
We see our duties,
To our countries and our self’,
We must let our eyes adjust to the shadows,
Then we can see behind the vales of the lie,
Then we may see our courage in front of us,
Then we can free our voices,
We can fight for our beliefs,
We can follow our beliefs,
Once we can accomplish this,
We are truly free of social bounds,

Fighting Hard
Rolling out to fight for England, singing songs across the sea;
Rolling North to fight for England, and to fight for you and me.
Fighting hard for France and England, where the storms of Death are hurled;
Fighting hard for Australasia and the honour of the World!
Fighting hard.
Fighting hard for Sunny Queensland—fighting for Bananaland,
Fighting hard for West Australia, and the mulga and the sand;
Fighting hard for Plain and Wool-Track, and the haze of western heat—
Fighting hard for South Australia and the bronze of Farrar’s Wheat!
Fighting hard.
Fighting hard for fair Victoria, and the mountain and the glen;
(And the Memory of Eureka—there were other tyrants then),
For the glorious Gippsland forests and the World’s great Singing Star—
For the irrigation channels where the cabbage gardens are—
