Sympathy For The Visitors
though i've no sympathy for the 'devil'
(as there exists no such thing) ,
i got to feel that one must have
sympathy for the visitors-
if any self-respecting alien
felt the need to stop their space cruiser
on the way to some interesting place,
here,
on this intergalactic equivalent of a
foul smelling
highway
rest stop-
whose graffiti laden vending machine
sitting out front,
doesn't even hold cans of the
outdated soda pictures &
whose bathroom filled with ex-pop stars
jerking off to pictures of little boys,
meth heads insufflating their life away,
prostitutes sucking off old men or
just unclean shit-stained walls,
might not hold the luster
that other wonderfully bright stars out there
may shine throughout the
universe,
i would stand out in the middle of the
parking lot,
surrounded by airstrip lighting
with flares bubbling fire in my hands
waving up at the sky like a madman
hoping they'd see me & know
to fly on by &
save themselves the disgust.

Heavenly Dreams
I visualize a voyage into infinite space,
Along with a spaceship and you,
Travelling hyperspeed, we would happily race,
A Comet, for the fun of the 'new'!
We would take a swift glance at vast Jupiter,
Perhaps stop for a picnic on Mars,
I certainly wouldn't worry, I'd know where we were,
By studying the formation of Stars.
With a stop off on Saturn, to study the views,
Then a visit to a Galaxy's expanse,
The whole spectacle, would sweep, away any blues,
And leave our keen minds in a trance.
The sun would shine brightly, a fab sight to see,
And lighten our excursion, for sure,
Away in this Universe, we'd feel oh so free.
What a wonderful way, to explore.
The Moon would glow softly, as we ended our trip,
Lighting our way home, to our beds,

Seeing the world with god
i look through my body
at the world, the stars, moon
stars beyond stars
i know there are stars, moon

from my temporary sphere
the aura that shines
from this physical self
the trillion of cells
all the moving atoms,
electrons, protons
the universe inside and out
i look at them
from my infinite self
god the puppeteer
shrewdly playing
the beginning, the end
the two walls
between the human brain
the man innocently walks

I am the emperor of the highway
I wield the universal will
One might chance to overlook on my divineness
