Chasing Blue Sky

Shakin time, she needs
Taking rides...to somewhere
Lets lose our minds, no hurry
Im the wakeful night, with dreams...or something
Chasing blue sky,
Were chasing blue sky
Taking time from all this worry
Mesmerized by the waves of your smile
I wish that I could say something
But youre the rose colored glass I see through
Ill see you through
Chasing blue sky, were chasing blue sky
Chasing blue sky, were chasing blue sky
Chasing blue sky, were chasing blue sky
Chasing blue sky, were chasing blue sky

Purple Rain

(prince)
I never meant to cause you any trouble
I never meant to cause you any pain
I only ever wanted to see you laughing
Only want to see you laughing in the purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Only want to see you underneath the purple rain
Honey, I never wanted to be your wicked lover
Only wanted to be some kind of friend
I could never leave you for another
Its such a shame our friendship had to end
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Only wanted to see you underneath the purple rain
Honey, I know, I know, I know times are changing
This time we all reach out for something new
That means you too
You say youre looking for a leader,
But you cant seem to make up your mind
But you better open it up wide, let it guide you
To the purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Only want to see you, baby, in the purple rain

If Purple Could Heal You

If Purple Could Heal You
By Tameka Callaway
One day, you told me that Purple is your favorite color.
I wish that purple can heal you

If purple could heal you, I would give purple flowers everyday
in a purple vase that will make your day
I would wear purple lip stick so I come leave kisses on you face
Wish there was purple days and purple nights

If only purple could heal you, I will give a purple glass of purple kool aid with purple ice so you would have a purple tong
I would go to the end of the world to find you the perfect purple yarn so I could make you a purple body suit from head to toe

Oh how I would give you a purple world
But for now, I just give you a purple poem
I love you

What is Purple?

Purple is a mystery.
Purple is happiness.
Purple is home.
Purple is a sanctuary.
And Purple is my own.
A little place in my mind.
A little sunshine in my day.
Purple is who I am.
And Purple is magic.

The Color Purple

a friend of mine is obsessed with purple
she says it's a royal color
fits for kings and queens
and she feels like a princess
on her purple hair
her purple dress
and purple bra and
purple shoes
the walls of her house are painted
the railings of the stairs
the windows
the doors are all purple now
the flowers in her garden
and the leaves of her trees
the grass
all purple too
her speech is purple too
the movies she watch are all in the shade of purple
her car turned purple too
royal color that is what she says

i tell her bluntly, ' You are boring, purple! '

Fade To Purple

As if Im sitting on purple clouds
Covered in purple shrouds
Singing purple kissed melodies loud
The Purple Master himself would be proud

Gifted, these fragrant purple flowers
Soaking wet, drenched from purple showers
Lifted, high high high atop purple towers

Yet as I walk through purple haze rooms
Filled with purple phased fumes
Im enlightened by the purple tazed blooms
Purple vibes that remove crazed glooms

Hungry I appetize on purple wood blunts
To then feast upon a purple smoke lunch
Break bread, along with the purple grape bunch
Fade To Purple To Get Me Through The Crunch

Shadows On The Wall

When the fantasy we live in
Lies in pieces on the ground
And there is no false illusion
That can turn your heart around
Nothing can change the way I feel
Nothing can take your love from me
If only I didnt worry
If only I could see
If only I could see
Chasing shadows on the wall
Chasing shadows as they dance on the floor
Chasing dreams that were forever young
Now Im on my own
Chasing shadows on the wall
Shadows on the wall
On the sea of mediocrity
Drifting from a distant shore
No goodbyes no celebration
No-one there to close the door
Only the silence that I feel
Only the lonely road is real
If only I didnt loose you
If only we could be
If only we could be
Chasing shadows on the wall
Chasing shadows as they dance on the floor
Chasing dreams that were forever young
Now Im on my own
Chasing shadows on the wall
Shadows on the wall
Chasing shadows on the wall
Chasing shadows as they start to fall
Chasing dreams that were forever young
Chasing shadows on the wall
Chasing shadows on the wall
Chasing shadows as they dance on the floor
Chasing shadows on the wall

Purple Pain-A Parody

Inspired by Barny the purple dinosaur

Parody of Prince's song Purple Rain

Purple pain
You were always meant I know
To cause me sorrow
You were always meant I know
To make me wanna bleed my own blood and gouge out my eyes
You were always meant I know
To cause me pain
Now all I ever want
Since I saw you on my tv screen is for you
You damm purple pain to drown
In the purple rain

Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain

I only want to see you drowning in the purple rain
Oh you damm purple pain

I never wanted my kids to love you
I only thought of you as some kind of fiend
Barney, I could never stand you for another minute
So my television now I must turn off
Even through I know it would make my babies cry
It's such a shame that your lifetime has't come to a end
Oh, oh yes it is

Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain

I only wanted to see you drown
You damm purple pain
In the purple rain
Oh yes it's true
Purple pain
In the purple rain

Honey, you must know
You must know
The channel I'm a changin'
It's time we all tune in to something new
That means not you
You say you could be a rating's leader
But your agent just can't seem to speak his mind
At the right time
I think you had better fire him
And let me drown you
You damm purple pain
In the purple rain

Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain
Purple pain

If you know who I'm singing about up here
C'mon raise your remote

Purple pain
Purple pain

I only want to see you
See you drown
Oh yeah, drown
You purple pain
In the purple rain

Chasing Their Dreams

No one or anyone prevented them,
From chasing their dreams...
No!
No one would.
No!
No one could.

And when anyone has material things,
That glistens their bling...
A way is found to obtain them,
Legitimately.
Or, clandestine to shine in their minds.
'Cause...
No one can intervene or prevent,
One who is chasing dreams...
No!
No one would.
No!
Or stop them if they could.

No one can or prevent one who is...
Chasing their dreams...
No!
No one would,
If they...
Thought they could.

And then a time comes when achievements,
Have been done...
That one will wish for a life simplistic,
With someone.
Remembered from a past that was happy and basic,
But...
They left them fast to chase,
After their dreams.

OH...
No one or anyone prevented them,
From chasing their dreams...
No!
No one would.
No!
No one could.

OH...
No one or anyone prevented them,
From chasing their dreams...
No!
No one would.
No!
No one could.

And today a basicness is wished,
But...
No one or anyone prevented them,
From chasing their dreams...
No!
No one would.
No!
No one could.

Today a basicness is wished,
But...
Chasing their dreams,
Left them...
Caught up in schemes.
And...
No one could prevent them,
From...
Chasing their dreams...
No!
No one would.
No!
No one could.

A Lovely Lavender Day

Purple, everything purple, purple
the colour I love, everything packaged
in purple – tile cleaner in a purple
container for lavender sweetness

Also power-cleaning cream for lavender-
fresh effects, the bottle appealing in a
soft purple hue, fabric conditioner in purple
too, accompanied by lavender promises

And my purple hot water bottle – I bought
Nici a purple fleece; a purple coverlet
on my bed, my favourite chocolate in a
purple wrapper

Purple is spiritual in the division of
seven chakra colours – red is earthed in
primitive desire, followed by orange, yellow,
green – the colour of love – and

Blue – the colour of communication, then
purple for third-eye enlightenment - purple
adds lustre and the sweetness of vague
mistiness to everything on which it appears;

Wishing you a lovely lavender day
in all hues of purple and blue!

The Wattlebirds Kept Busy All The Day

The wattlebirds kept busy all the day
From flowering gum trees chasing them away
But wattlebirds though big are not so fleet
And they can't catch purple crowned lorikeet.

Green neck and back and shoulder patch green brown
And reddish face and purple patch on crown
And orange patch on neck and undersides light blue
They live in small flocks as most small lories do.

These lorikeets in many places rare
But in You Yangs park one sees them everywhere
They feed in groups and fly from tree to tree
And make much noise and prove quite hard to see.

Gregarious birds they spend their daylight hours
Taking nectar from the eucalyptus flowers
And wattlebirds kept busy all the day
From flowering gum trees chasing them away.

Chase

Imagination's running wild
I'm a man, not a child
Can't seem to make something of my life
Here i go again, down, down, down
So you want to be someone
But my love, you just don't know
I'm chasing, but some man's making
It's just bringing me down, no no no
I'm chasing, some man's making
It's just bringing me down
In conversations, about who you are
The way you talk, boy, you're the star
Can't seem to make something of my life
Here i go again, down, down, down,
So you want to be someone
But my love, it just don't run
I'm chasing, some man's making
It's just bringing me down, no no no
I'm chasing, some man's making
It's just bringing me down
I'm chasing, some man's making
It's just bringing me down,
I'm chasing, but some man's making
It's just bringing me down
(instrumental)
I'm chasing, but some man's making
It's just bringing me down, no no no
I'm chasing, but some man's making
It's just bringing me down down down down
I'm chasing, but some man's making
It's just bringing me down,
I'm chasing, but some man's making
It's just bringing me down down down
(more instrumental)

Chasing The Rainbow

I am chasing the rainbow
Without a sky or clouds.

I am chasing my life,
The wonderful smile and the saddest one.

I am chasing the hardship,
My green mint poem,
My vanilla drawing,
The path of Arthur Rimbaud, and
Les Miserables:
My Gavroche,
My Jean Valjean, and
My Cosette Eileen.

I am chasing the rainbow
And it turned out
It is a Papion smile flying between my chin and my eyebrows.

People chasing me

I have people chasing after me

I have people chasing after
me here and there

I have people chasing
me up and down the stairs

I have people chasing
which is not so fun

I have people chasing
and don't have no where to hide

Purple Forest

I walk into a purple forest
The place is magical and free
The grass is violet, the sky is white
Purple defines every tree

I walk into a purple forest
There are purple buzzing bees
And a swamp of violet waters
creep up to my knees

I walk into a purple forest
A streak of purple runs across the sky
I hear a gentle whisper say
It was a fairy passing by

I walk into a purple forest
On violet sod I lie my head
But later, of course
I awake in my bed
