Devil's Lake
Iceberg carved, beautiful sculptured
nature's beauty, many years in the making
humungous hills, cliffs carved in the sides
a gorgeous lake below, river feed
many creatures habitability in park, free to roam
birds flying, squirrels running, vulture circling
a sense of peace and heaven to view.
crafty trails, steep hills to climb
breathe taking views, picture perfect
the woods so colorful and thick
spring many shades of green
fall the painters colors of reds, yellows, orange
walking the heavenly trails, seeing nature all around
from the smallest stone to the big boulders
the lake so clear, to see the fish, the current so gentle
you see the water flow
the wind blows, a steady one from the north
seeing people enjoying nature's heaven
it brings tears of joy and warmth that they respect the land
hundred of years in the making, yet so breathe taking

she shot me her death ray eyes,
'YOU TICKLE ME COLLEEN'
How about we stay here for tonight and walk into the sunset? '
(She left something under her breath) as she said to me through cracked walls
'Why don't you take a walk Montague! I have a some capsolets to kill'
I obstinately protested her paroxysm and deduced they were of a playfully passionate nature and she was indeed hard to get.
'Build us a tire swing? '
' Ah jesus Right now? '
'Yes! right now if you have back for it '
Finding a length of rope under a hedge I toss it over a swollen branch of her young mulberry tree, then go into the garage and find a jack,
I spend twenty minutes taking the tires from her old mans Alpha Romeo and throw three of them loon-like into the cloudy lake.
With the fourth tire I make her damn swing, and tangle it up into the top branches
because right then it hit me what she left under her breath, '... I'm splitting'

Sunset
sunset
weak rays of the sun
not so warm
dying
a brown dog plays in the sunset of grass
taking a jaw bone of
a pig from the farm nearby
a white dog comes to play with
him, but there is no more time
for this silly
thing to do,
this time all quarrels end
it is dimmer
now and all the children have to go home
now,
sunset, the white and brown dogs
find comfort in the dark with their glowing eyes in the dark

Ode To Orange Chgicken
Orange chicken, oh orange chicken,
how much I love you.
You're sweet, sticky, and tangy, all at the same time,
you go great wi th soy sauce, but never with lime.
ode to orange chicken, which I love to devour,
it's been in my mouth so often, it knows that i have power.
It knows the names of my taste buds, Jill, Lil, and Bill,
sometimes the orange chicken is happy, but sometimes it's held against it's will.
Whenever I eat orange chicken, it goes CRUNCH, CRUNCH,
and I have to have chow mein, and that goes MUCH, MUNCH!

but did I mention, i also love eggrolls.

The Sunset tells the end of everything,
the Dawn tells the beginning.
During the Sunset,
the sky turns orange,

I feel breath wasting,
As time is pacing on a terrible dream,
When in my coffin my shoes they are lacing,
And with a knife they are tracing,

And cataracts caused me to blind,
